Extremely disappointed in quality of pedicure I received. Paid for the deluxe, $40, and had to ask the technician several times to scrub more dead skin off. In the end she put her tools away and had still missed a ton of it! (I would post pics, but don't want to subject anyone to my foot skin). Very awkward as I feel a paying customer shouldn't have to instruct the employees how to do a thorough job. I regret even leaving without having someone else fix it, because my feet are not vacation ready like they should be, but the place is always busy. Have never had this poor of an experience at any nail spot in WNY. Very unhappy, will not be returning. read more

I love the decor and atmosphere at this place. They always have good music bumping and everyone is friendly. I just got my nails done today and I love them! Only downside is the wait is always long and it's busy and crowded. Worth it though. read more

Nail Studio & Spa - Gel mani - Nail Salons Near Me - Buffalo, New York

I stopped in here after my workout last Saturday for a pedicure. It was very busy but I was seated right away. They offered me a water or pop which I thought was great! I did end up waiting almost 35 minutes once I was seated in the pedi chair and the water was a little cold. But it was my fault for not speaking up. The woman who did my pedicure was very nice and pleasant! I didn't think the massage was very long, maybe 60 seconds total. The other place I go to regularly spoils their customers with 5 minutes per foot though :) The price was pretty standard. I would go back again for sure. read more

The wait is interminable. If you tell me 30 minutes, I don't expect to be sitting in a pedicure chair in 45 minutes, with my pedicure not to begin for another 45 minutes. I finally asked when I was going to be taken care of and was told, "we're very busy and going through the list in order." Which is fine, but don't tell me 30 minutes when you mean 90 minutes. That is just absurd. People, manage expectations! I would have gone to Target and returned an hour later. And don't later "complain" to another client (a regular, I presume), that people should expect a wait on the weekends, should come here for relaxation and not stress. And don't then rush through my pedi/mani...because--yes, I did come here for prettiness and relaxation. Now you've stressed me out and I'm tense and not satisfied. Even though I didn't feel like waiting longer, I wanted the spa pedi (which was not offered to me in their rush to get me the hell out of there). They are not as busy at the beginning of the week, but I don't think I can come back anymore (especially now that I've complained to them and they, in turn, complained about me). Gel mani lasts 2+ weeks, however. They tried to talk to me into a french gel mani, which I was adamant about not getting. They are provincial. read more

This is a surprisingly nice nail salon. Even on a busy holiday shopping day, they were able to fit me in. I did have to wait, but as Ryan noted, you get to wait sitting in the spa massage chair. The quality of the pedicure is going to vary a little depending on who you get. Lots of people there were clamoring for the owner, but I forgot his name. Everyone there was really nice. I was 9 months pregnant and had heard that pedicures can induce labor (it did not work), and they were all joking with me about my having a baby that night. The price is slightly high, but that is what you would expect for a place this nice in such a prime suburban shopping location. I'm likely to return here for my next pedicure (but would never fork over the dough they ask for their waxing services). read more

I love this place! Particularly the owners! My manicures last about 3 weeks before any chips occur! My nails have never looked and felt better than when I started going here. The owner and her husband are both really adorable and high energy. If you are someone who absolutely has to have what you think is right, you might want to go somewhere else. They will let you know if the color that you've picked out isn't their favorite and put something else (usually way better than what you picked out originally) on, but will check with you first. If you really hate it, say something...otherwise trust their expertise. Everything is clean and always a fast and enjoyable experience. Come for your nails, stay for the show (banter among the husband and wife and the workers!). read more

I was torn at how many stars to give this place. It is definitely hit or miss as to how long you will have to wait to get your services done (I recommend weekday before 5pm or early in the morning on the weekends). If you call ahead to ask how long the wait is, they will most certainly lie to you and say about 15 minutes. I have done eyebrow waxing, gel nail, regular manicure and both regular pedicure and spa pedicure. Management has changed over the years as the folks who own and manage this location also have locations in Williamsville and even in Rochester. I have noticed a few new young faces in the group and they are usually the ones who are a bit sloppy with their work. I recommend saying something if you are unhappy with your service; they are always comfortable with fixing it. Once you become a regular customer, be ready for the staff to get really comfortable with you. They are big jokesters and will crack jokes at your suspense. So if you do not like that kind of thing, this is not the place for you. My favorite technician is Birdy, who is now the manager. I refuse to have anyone but Birdy do my brows, as high maintenance as that sounds. During the summer, I go to their salon at least once a month for a gel manicure because they are quick and their manicures last for at least 2.5 weeks. I love getting them before a vacation or a wedding. Their color selection is vast and the facility is well kept and clean, which is something I think is very important and lacking at other laces in Buffalo. read more

Stumbled across this place. Love that they're open on Sundays. Great pedicures & eyebrow waxing, love the atmosphere, and I always walk out feeling good. I don't mind waiting a bit sometimes - it's worth it. read more

Best nail place in town! They are super friendly, the shop is extremely clean and they do great work. I've never been disappointed and have taken my friends and mother here. Nail Studio & Spa - Holiday Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Buffalo, New York

I've been searching for a nail salon with a great gel manicure in the Hamburg area for 3 years now. After 4 different places, I finally extended my search into the city and northtowns area. I used to go to Nail Studio & Spa when I lived in the city, but haven't been there in almost 3 years. After reading many reviews, I decided to make the journey from Hamburg. I read in reviews that they get very busy and wait times can be up to an hour or two. I arrived to the salon 10 minutes before they opened and waited in the parking lot, and I'm glad I did because there were 6 people ahead of me by the time they opened. I opted for a spa pedicure and a gel manicure. I waited for about 10 minutes before the pedicure chair was ready. The water grew lukewarm as I waited for the pedicure to start, but this didn't bother me much since my skin gets very dry in the winter when it's submerged in hot water for too long. The pedicure was very relaxing and came with a sugar scrub, leg/foot massage, and hot towel wrap. I was very pleased with the results and color of the polish. After my pedicure was completed, I went to the manicure portion of the salon. I was sat in one section where my nails were shaped and cuticles taken care of. Then I went over to the polish station. I had picked a gel polish that looked like it would provide a nice coverage, however, the person that did my nails suggested a darker pink color because the one I selected would barely provide any coverage/color. I am so happy that he suggested a different color, I loved the results. From start to end, it took about 2 hours to get my pedi and gel mani. The salon definitely got very busy, so I recommend coming in right when they open, or be prepared to wait/put your name on a list and come back later. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. I had a great experience. It has been 2 weeks since I got my gel manicure, and my nails still look great. Not a single chip or any peeling. This is the best gel manicure I have ever received. I definitely will be making the trip out to the salon to get my nails done, it is well worth the drive!! read more

The best in WNY!!! Amazing pedicures and gel nails! I won't go anywhere because no one can complete! Gel lasts longer than anyone else!! You may have to wait but it's worth every minute! read more

I have gone to this place a couple of times throughout the years and never had any issues with getting acrylics done. My sister goes fairly often and knows the owner well. My sister and I went in tonight with our mother to all get our nails done. When it was my turn to sit down my nail tech asked me what I wanted I told her almond shaped acrylics and showed her an inspo picture. She said should she would be unable to do the design with with regular nail polish because the design was too hard to do with regular nail polish so she needed to use gel while this made no sense to me I agreed and let her move on. I told her repeatedly that my nails were uneven and slanted before she ever put the acrylic on. Now I asked her to fix them about ten times during this process and refused telling me they were fine. She also let me know my nails would cost $70. I started to get really upset because they looked awful and she refused to fix them telling me it was my nails not her fault. I asked her to fix them one more time and she told me she was done doing my nails and that she didn't know how to do them and walked away. So I approached the store owner Twee who was doing my sisters nails asking her if she could have them fixed by someone else or fix them herself. She told me that she can't fix them and I'd have to soak them all off or leave the way they were. Now I have always known her to be sweet and helpful to my sister and I the times I've been there. I was super taken back at the fact that she allowed this girl to completely destroy my nails and not finish them along with not fixing them herself. I would never go there again. Her husband than proceeded to tell me that it's a very hard job and a dying art. Which also confused me because I feel as though that is the complete opposite now a days. Nails are an art in their own. I have never had a problem with getting my nails done ever in the 15 years I have been getting them done. I found them to be completely unprofessional. Beware! read more

YES, YES & YES is all I can say. Everything about this place is spot on, I love the location! When you walk in you are greeted right away, which makes you feel like they want you there. This nail place is so organized, it's a nice change from the disasters I have seen at other places. They have a good system and you are never confused, they guide you to where you need to be, also efficient. Even how busy they are, they never rush you, they want your experience to be amazing and they want everything to be perfect. I love the different options they have for pedis, I recommend the deluxe, it was simply amazing. I also got a fill, the lady did an amazing job, she did exactly what I wanted, shaped my nails perfectly also. Its a trendy looking place with awesome music, it is definitely a place I want to go to relax. You can surely tell the owners and staff care about their customers. This is for sure my new nail place! read more

i absolutely love this nail salon some much. i have been going here for a little over a year now and never go anywhere else because they are fantastic. i love all of their personalities and you can't go there and not laugh! Super nice staff and amazing pedicure. Only issue with the Spa is they take SO LONG. They allow in way too many people at a time. I was there for almost two and a half hours had gotten a pedicure and a manicure. It was another 20min wait for me to get the gel polish on so I just left! Tried to go back again and the wait was so long again. Wish they would take appointments. read more

I was not very impressed with the service. The pedicure was nothing and over priced for what I got. The lady cleaned them, painted my nails, and put lotion on. I could have done that at home. I was paying and hoping for the callus removal and massage. My eyebrows look great, so no complaint there. The full set gel manicure I got is not what it could have been. The nails are not even and the tech I had really did a number on my cuticles. Yes, I know they needed work but they are extremely sore and red. I am sure they have some great techs because there are some good reviews but the ones I had were rushing and not super concerned with the job they were doing. read more

A fabulous experience! I came here on a busy Friday with my daughter and Granddaughter for pedicures. Talk about friendly and gracious! It was very busy but they fit us in quickly. WORST PLACE EVER STAY AWAY!!!!! I've been there for a manicure and a pedicure this past mThursday. I got a regular manicure with gel and a spa pedicure. I have never had a gel manicure. Two different people did my services. I went with a pale pink kind of color for my toes and my fingernails. The following day the gel on the right-hand side changed color to an orange. Today I went back in to show them that the color has changed. The guy who sits right in the front I believe he's the owner told me we all the tell our customers that never to get this pale pink color. I told him nobody ever told me that when I was getting the color and I was first time GEL customer. Then he went on and asked me who did it for you. And I told him I don't remember the names because I've not been here often enough this was my third time probably being here and every time I come to this place I never see the same person twice. Well he said you can soak it up for a minute and see if it comes off if not I don't know what to do. Sure enough the color didn't come off, so I asked him to he change it for me. And he replied that he will have to charge me too change it. You should be able to help your customers and not make them feel like they are just a number. No people managements skills whatsoever! read more

I've been coming here since 2015 and there's a reason this salon is always busy! Tweet, Vito, and the rest of the staff have created an environment that is welcoming, professional, and consistent! I've been auditioning new nail shops for my daughter for a couple months. We pass by this place all the time and decided to give them a try on Sunday. They were packed on a Sunday afternoon! When we first walked in we were immediately greeted despite the fact that there was so much hustle and bustle. There was a lot of energy in the place and it was decorated beautifully so I was immediately impressed. Even with all the people in the shop we were told only a 15 minute wait. Her nails turned out beautifully and they were exactly what she wanted. It also didn't take a crazy amount of time. This would have been a 5 Star review but I need to see how her nails last and I was a little annoyed at the price. I have no problem paying for great service. I wholeheartedly believe that you get what you pay for. However, I like to know what I'm walking into. I find that with most nail shops prices aren't clear and this place was no different. A fill is $15, a full set is $25. She had a couple broken nails so they said it made more sense to take them off and put on a new set. Ok fine. $25 right? Extra $5 for gel polish and another $5 for a simple nail design. Cool beans that's $35 right? NO. it was $50 and for the life of me I can't make the math work. I wasn't going to make a scene or anything and as I said overall I was happy with the shop and the quality so far. I would just like to know what I'm walking into. I don't want to come in with one price in my head then after the work is done it's doubled. I plan on giving them another shot but maybe I'll ask for a breakdown so there's no surprises. I'll let you guys know how the nails hold up so stay tuned! read more

My biggest regret is not going to this place sooner! My work friends always raved about this place. As a college student I always saw getting my nails done a splurge, but my graduation was coming up so TREAT YO SELF. If you don't like getting your cubicles cut like me, they offer just gel polish application with no manicure for just $15! Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. My friends and I called beforehand because we were coming in as a large group. They recommended coming in early and we're glad we did. The place was completely filled 5 minutes after they were officially open! Someone asked if they should get a gel pedicure and one of the staff told her that he didn't think it was worth spending extra money on. I think this speaks lengths about their honesty. Two weeks later (plus a lot of packing, moving things into my car, and unpacking), my nails are still completely intact. read more

This place stinks! My gel polish (which is NOT cheap) only lasted five days before chipping on THREE fingers!! They were also so rude to us. I went with a friend for a lady date and they didn't let us sit next to each other! They said each technician has their own station and they can't move. So silly!! This is not a surgical procedure -- just carry your nail instruments to another table. It's about the customer, not your personal comfort. The technicians were also unpleasant. Mine didn't engage with me when I tried to chat with him. My friend's was trying to sell her a much more expensive powder gel manicure. Tacky. I would NOT go here if I were you. And I certainly won't be returning. read more

Came in today for a fill with gel polish. Was excepting $25 plus tip ($15 for the fill & $10 for the gel polish), ended up being $43. $15 for the fill (plus $5 for "gel powder", which I didn't ask for) $5 for the removal of the gel, $15 for gel polish and $3 to cut down. I've been having my nails done for years- first time I've ever been charged to file my nails down. And she burned me multiple times doing this. Also never been charged for removal of gel, when it was being put back on. And $15 for gel?! Are you kidding?! Ooo and When I only gave her $45, bc I hadn't expected it to be no more that $30, she gave me the dirtiest look, sorry I need to eat. WILL NEVER BE BACK! WAY OVER PRICED, for a very stressful salon and to be rushed. Also I know I was talked about as soon as I walked out as the owner talks bad about all the customers as soon as they leave. She once told me only "white people" tip. And they always know who will tip and who won't. read more

I have been going here for a few years now and I love it. Thuy and Vito are such great people and not only do they do a great job, the atmosphere is so much fun. The wait can be a little long at times but I think that just goes to show how great they are. I wouldn't go anywhere else! read more

Horrible service. The workers are RUDE and rush you out of there to take the next person. I had a clump of hair in my pedicure water that was there when I went to sit down. They took it out and told me to put my feet in. Obviously they did not clean the tub well. DON'T GO THERE! read more

I came in without an appt the day after Thanksgiving. Was pretty busy, which I take as a good sign. The staff are very friendly and jokey with each other (and the customers). I also noted that they used my name several times, even though this was my first time there. They had a decent selection of polish and amazing massage chairs!! I got the pedicure with "callus solution" and a gel french (total $65). The wait wasn't bad, though there was kinda a lull in between the pedi and mani, which I think happens anywhere you have two people do your nails. I will def be back ASAP; the salons in the city are pretty-meh. read more

I've recently started coming here for gel manicures and this is by far the best place to come to to for gel. Even with short nails like mine the staff knows how to paint them and make them look good. The staff is also very helpful with ensuring that you don't walk out of the salon with an "ugly" color. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. read more

I would never go anywhere else! I've been going here for years. I was a faithful customer at the old location and am just as faithful at the new one. I had a mani one day and I bumped a nail against something while still there. It screwed up the polish because I was going to the drying table. I was immediately taken back to the mani station where it was fixed. I wasn't charged extra, even though it was my fault! They are funny and inviting there, but always really busy. I was concerned that when they moved, they would have problems because it's in a weird location, but, based on how busy they always are, they'll be there for a long time. You do usually have to wait, but that's only because they never rush. They want to make sure everything is perfect! read more

what a waste of money. the lady I had kept leaving to go to the bathroom because she was having stomach issues. felt as I was interrupted during my 55$ pedicure. she then proceeded to put the wrong color red on my toes. It gets worse. She cut my cuticles to the point they were bleeding and sliced a piece of my toe skin off using the machine to buff nails. I couldnt walk the next day. Worst service ever not worth the money or time. I'm not sure how they let that employee work under the conditions. read more

You will not find a better nail place ANYWHERE in Buffalo. From the atmosphere, to the music, to the talent. I have gel polish and I have been to so many different places for the gel. I was pleased with my service. They were busy as it was a Sunday afternoon but quoted an appropriate wait time and I wasn't in a hurry so no problem there. They had you pick your nail polish as well as your choice of lotion for the pedicure which I liked. I have never had a place do that. They did a great job of prettying up my tootsies for me and didn't lack on the massage part which is really the major reason I wanted the pedicure as I am 21 weeks pregnant and really needed some pampering to combat the aches that come along with growing a life. They spoke clear English unlike at a lot of little "chop shops" as we called the cheap nail salons back home. Which was nice. I always hated having to nod my head yes and pretend like I knew what a person was saying. Definitely not a problem here. Aesthetically pleasing and the had great massage chairs, plenty of magazines to choose from, as well as complimentary beverages. Definitely a fair price, and everyone around me seemed really pleased as well. A couple regulars as well. I'll be going back :) read more

This place gets worse and worse. The first couple times I went it was great , it was quick and they did a good job. Now 6-8 months later and you will wait almost 2 hours for your manicure from start to finish and it won't even be quality. (This is Monday and Tuesday first thing in the morning.) It's not a long process.. but they'll have you soak your nails for 45 minutes, then someone will file them, then someone else will paint them ! And in between all of that there is about 15-20 minutes of waiting. It's awful. And they don't take reservations. Also don't even think about coming after work or on the weekend..they will tell you it's about 15-20 minutes but they actually mean it's 15-20 minutes before you can sit in the chair where you'll wait another 20 minutes before you're moved to a table where you'll wait another 20 minutes before your manicurist shows up. I thought the cheap price was worth it in the beginning .. no way. I'd rather spend $10 and have quality service in reasonable time. read more

I've been here twice for manicures. First time the polish fell off within 24 hours. The whole nails worth at once. And my cuticles were pretty cut up. Took me a while to give them a second chance.
