I've found my new place! *star emoji*heart emoji* I have sadly been looking for a new nail place now as the quality of service at the one I've gone to for 12-13 years has changed. I went to a few places, kissed a few frogs, but all I got were a couple of warts (metaphorically) until I found Kym at Le Nails!! She really took the time to listen to me, and I felt like I was able to convey my desires for the result I'm hoping to achieve. Kym did a beautiful job on my nails and I love the atmosphere in the salon. It's fun and lively and didn't feel elitist or judgmental, which can happen at salons. I'm not in junior high and I don't like mean girls. So I'm glad that this place is very chill. I can't wait to schedule more services in the salon. Well done, Le Nails. Well done. read more

Professional and friendly, a well run business by nice hard working people. Not just nails.

Although they were nice I felt just removing my nail polish that I put on and putting clear on shouldn't be $16. I had red and some was left. I asked to try to take more , but one women kept saying it's very hard to get under the nails and for me to go buy a product to do it I think for that much money and about 5 mins of service they should have redone. I came here for the first time tonight and was highly satisfied. I'm always scared to get my nails done at new places but I loved it here. I got a fill, and it was really well done :) The woman who did my nails didn't mess up my nails or nick me with her tools like other places do so this relieved a lot of anxiety ! They seemed very nice but I got dip powder which they told me would last 3 weeks-month and they fell off within the week. It was 48 with the tip and for the price it just seemed ridiculous. The woman who did my nails made they bleed a couple of times and seemed unfazed. I included a picture. My friends told me the shape looked uneven and they looked messy. This salon took me by surprise!! They were able to get me & my friend in with such short notice & took their time on our nails. We never felt rushed & the environment of the salon was so uplifting! Everyone was extremely friendly & caring. I had Kim giving me a gel manicure & my friend had Tammy doing hers, we have never in our lives had such soft nail techs! I highly do not recommend this place. The lady cut my with her drill. The lady who was applying my tips did not look like she knew what she was doing. On top of that , she applied 2 of them crooked , then had to take one off because she didn't glue it to my nail all the way. My acrylic was very clumpy and she did not file very much. When she did , the nails were not even and the tips of them were slanted. Near my cuticle, the acrylic was very thick. I then asked her to apply holographic powder to 4 of my nails. Under flash , the holographic looked perfectly fine. But in the lighting of a room exc , the powder was not evenly put on my nail. The nails fell off about a week and a half maybe 2 later. My fav nail place around! They don't take walk ins which is nice but bad. Nice because you walk in and you have an appt so you're not sitting around waiting... bad because if something comes up you can't just walk in. Appointment was at 12.. sat around for a while without an estimated time or even knowing who I was waiting for. Finally about 30 mins later one woman started my nails.. she didn't ask if I wanted them shorter which I did and when I told her she didn't ask me what shape. She generally didn't say much to me. Final price was a little higher than I expected and I must've been quoted something different over the phone but still around the general cost. The owner seemed really friendly and everyone else who came in must've been a regular as they all chatted with her. Not a bad job overall but unsure if I would return. read more

My rating is based on the type of place this is - a nail salon (NOT a spa or hair salon that does nails). I work at UB North so I was looking for a place to grab a quick pedi on lunch. Le Nails was perfect!! I usually frequent more expensive places with groupons or similar deals - this is def not a spa setting nail joint. Almost everyone else there was getting fills and the air smelled pretty strongly of all those fake nail chemicals. That being said, the employees were SUPER friendly and the owner (at least I think she was the owner) pulled open a new box of nail polish that had just arrived in the mail and encouraged me to try one of her newest colors. A refreshing change from the old polish with thinner poured into it that salons are always hoping you'll use up for them!! She also was talking to an employee and later, a customer, about improvements she plans to make - and ones she really wishes she could make. It was nice to see her taking so much pride in her business. My pedicurist didn't speak English very well (or was at least very shy) but he was clean, fast, and neat about his work. I was really happy with my results and will be returning for my next pedi! read more

My daughter got a gift certificate for here for Xmas so we decided to come and do mother daughter day. Only to be told that they could only do one of us. If we didn't have the gift certificate we would have left and gone somewhere else. Instead I just wanted to use it so we didn't have to come back here again. Very disappointed. Julee is amazing. I had been to multiple nail places around the city and was never completely satisfied until I ventured out to see her. I get acrylics and my hands are in water constantly, with other technicians I always had to deal with lifting, or nails breaking and coming off. Since seeing Julee, I can always guarantee my nails will last me until my next fill, all while looking great the whole time. Le Nails is cozy and accommodating, and everyone is incredibly friendly. The only thing is, prices aren't listed anywhere but if you call ahead of time she will tell you. Would definitely visit again. Also, tips are not accepted via credit card. I'm a regular at Le Nails. The prices are a bit steep, especially since I grew up on $5 manicures. You have to buy a kit for only your use ($1 for manicures, I don't know the price off-hand for pedicures), which is only used on you and you only have to pay for once. I get acrylics filled every 2 weeks or so, and every time I go, I usually have them pick out the color with me, since I'm far from feminine and never know what really works. They've never chosen a bad color. I always get compliments and asked where I go, every time I get my nails done here. They greet you by your name when you walk in the door, and they remember everyone -- I mean everyone! They remembered me after I didn't come in for six months, after I was only there once! I recommend making an appointment, as they're usually pretty booked up. They're super clean, really nice, and it's overall a really pleasant experience going there. They accept credit cards, but you can't put your tip on the card. Slightly inconvenient, but at least I know my nail artist gets to keep her tip that I give her. The only downside is the price. I get a student discount, but it's still expensive. I'm giving my nails a break from 4 months of acrylics, but when I decide to get them back, I know where I'll be going! read more

Made an appt for Friday afternoon. Arrived and was very surprised by the condition of the salon. It was dirty and a mess. One employee was getting her hair dyed and washed by another employer when she had a client! The woman who I was scheduled with was busy talking to another employee the whole time I was there about their dinner reservations after work. I asked for a gel manicure and she wouldn't cut my nails. She applied the gel polish on my lap, not a table! She put the polish on too thick and I asked her to fix it, since I knew it would peel off. She didn't fix. And she left gaps along the tops and sides of my nails without polish! Horrible service and horrible quality. I will not be returning. My nails all peeled off today they lasted 2 days!! Not 2 weeks! read more

She did a great job I never felt rushed like I have at some nail salons. I felt price was reasonable for the amount of time she spent working on the whole gel process...removing old gel polish, manicure & applying new gel polish. I came in for a new set and the first woman was cutting off my old acrylics, and she cut the skin on my thumb. Later, when the other woman did my acrylics she cut me twice with the file. They didn't take off any money after cutting me 3 times, but my nails do look nice. read more

Very clean!! I brought my own polish but they have a huge selection and I ALMOST picked one of theirs instead. Mine was hologram though so that obviously won. They're very attentive to what they're doing and to making you feel comfortable. They don't mind re-filling your glass while you're sitting in the pedicure chair. Very nice place! My mothers manicure was beautiful. There were obviously a few flaws. The shop was small which we didn't mind but there were two workers with two customers while one was just sitting and pretending to not do anything. My mother was finally asked after 30 minutes of waiting what nail color she wanted. They had a wide range of colors which was greatly appreciated.
