It took away from the experience, along with the water barely at lukewarm after telling him twice it wasn't hot. The location itself is nice. It started to get busier halfway through my service, and I noticed others getting drinks. The man at the front passed around tea, which I took. Had Alex or someone asked me if I wanted a drink, I likely would've purchased wine. Going to shop around for another place since my primary spot closed.

I went to a few places, kissed a few frogs, but all I got were a couple of warts (metaphorically) until I found Kym at Le Nails!! She really took the time to listen to me, and I felt like I was able to convey my desires for the result I'm hoping to achieve. Kym did a beautiful job on my nails and I love the atmosphere in the salon. It's fun and lively and didn't feel elitist or judgmental, which can happen at salons. I'm not in junior high and I don't like mean girls. So I'm glad that this place is very chill. I can't wait to schedule more services in the salon. Well done, Le Nails. Well done.

My builder gel fill was done in 25 minutes (the salon I went to before I moved to Buffalo took minimum 1 hour and looked immaculate). They don't prep your nails well and don't touch your cuticles. I had to ask for cuticle oil because my nails still looked so dry, like I had them done for a week. My pedicure was also very rushed and had a poor paint job. I was in the salon for not even an hour for two services which seems insane not only for the cost but the customer experience. It seems like they're just trying to churn customers vs actually giving you their full attention and being attentive to detail.

Overall we left feeling a little tricked and disappointed. We both wanted gel french pedicures and requested a pink base with a coat of glitter. Neither of us received a pink base and we just got the white line for the french and the glitter top coat; no pink base. They never asked how either of us wanted our french tips done and did a much thinner line than what I would've preferred. During the beginning of the service one of the staff held up a sign that said the Milk and Honey pedicure was $64. Upon completion she then changed the price and said it was $93 each. I was taken aback because the sign clearly stated $64. I paid but waited for her to turn the tablet around so I could tip and she seemed shocked as if she didn't expect us to tip when I asked to . It just seemed as if she'd self-adjusted the price in advance to reflect that sentiment . I did not get a receipt, when I reached for the one that printed she said they keep it. So I am still unsure of what made the price $30 more than what was originally stated. She said cash tips only and that I could use the ATM inside. I attempted to twice and it took $20 from my checking account both times but did not dispense any cash??!? So we just left at that point. I am transitioning to being in Buffalo full time and was really hoping to have found my new consistent pedicure spot. Unfortunately both me and my friend were nicked/cut or had our cuticles pushed back slightly too far during the service. But they made conversation and offered water so that was a nice vibe. They saw us quickly upon arriving to our appointments which was very appreciated. They were thorough in the massaging and exfoliating aspect of the pedicure and seemed to take their time with it which we liked. Overall I didn't mind paying the price but I wish they had been more transparent about their pricing so that we didn't feel tricked. For nearly $100 each I would hope the end results would've been more to our liking :/

I decided against the expensive pedicure where they charge an extra $20 just for gel and decided to get a basic manicure with clear nail polish, that's it! SIMPLE! Well, my technician nicked me twice and when I let her know she was mixing my blood with the oil brush she said that it was fine and that it happens sometimes. No accountability, no apology, no corrective action. I really dont want to go on and on, as I could, I'll just say the place, is over rated.
