I also asked if they had a color/ brand i wanted and they did so always ask because the options i had were limited but they have a lot more which i didn't know! I've been coming to Nailworld for 14 years and from the start it felt like family. Everyone here remembers your name and if you bring a guest from time to time, they always remember them too! They care deeply about customers and it shows. Sandy does my acrylic French and expertly accommodates my wide white request. She makes my chubby fingers look great! Liz, the Queen of Pedis does my pedis and they are perfect! Her attention to detail results in a perfect pedi every time. All technicians here have a solid following. I highly recommend Nailworld for its personalized, excellent service and professional results. Thank you Joe and Kathy, husband/wife owners for running a great business.

Nice people but worst manicure ever. Not only did they not apply the top coat properly, which I had to go back AFTER my manicure to get fixed, but 3 nails fell off and one chipped with the DIP after only a week!! I am shocked because I paid $45 for the DIP and it didn't even last a week. VERY disappointed.

Loved it. Jessica took care of me as a walk-in and I left happy. Full acrylic set was $60 so with a $10 tip I paid $70. That's reasonable. The acrylic is a hair thick near my cuticles but I'm willing to stick with it and see how these wear, and ask for them not to be so thick at that spot next time. It was quiet but friendly in there on an early Thursday afternoon. LOVED the abundant color choices!! Well done everyone, Nail World. Well done. read more

1st visit Manicurist was unfriendly and impatient. Manicure took less than 15 min No base coat, no cuticle clipping, no hand massage Could have used another coat as you could see thru some areas. Sat under the dryer for more than half an hour and then waiting for friends getting both mani and pedi to finish. Despite that when I woke up the next day my nails had sheet marks. My friends had a much better experience. read more

Manicure lady kept remarking on how tall my daughter is. It was annoying and made her self conscious. If what you are going to say is not 100% a compliment, keep it to yourself. Also, just FYI, they do not take credit cards. We will not go back. read more

Complete rip off. Asked for a gel polish (no manicure) with chrome. They charged me $15 for the chrome which is OUTRAGEOUS, and left scratches all over my nails after applying the chrome? Will never be coming here again. I shouldn't have paid for the chrome for it to look like this. Also the nail tech had no idea what she was doing. read more

Let me start this review with a warning: I am SUPER opinionated about who does my nails, how they're done, and the resulting quality. I came here on a Saturday afternoon before a friend's wedding and received generally great service with an exceptionally friendly staff. The salon was clean and not cramped. I thought it was a little strange that they have people bring their own nail files & buffers - I was asked to buy a set for $1 while I was there (I took it home, never to use again). I presume is probably for cleanliness but most salons just clean their tools & reuse them so it was confusing to me. I took off 1 star because I called ahead and made 2 appointments for my mom & myself and they were not honored when we arrived. We ended up having to wait 30 to 40 minutes respectively so I was super stressed (while doing something that is supposed to be relaxing) about getting out on time. read more

honestly. i had the WORST experience here. i hate complaining and i've personally never gone out of my way to write a review, but it's necessary. 6 out of my 10 fingers were bleeding when i left. i kept saying ouch and never a sorry and never did he stop gashing my fingers. i'm a hairdresser and it kills every time i put my fingers under water. they saw my skin bleeding (badly) while painting my nails and never once said anything about it. i'm not happy at all with my experience. read more

There's one star because the employees are nice. I got a manicure and it didnt even last 12 hours without major chips and peeling. I payed 20$ and i didnt shower or do dishes, only went out to dinner. The atmosphere is pretty nice, but they seem to always be busy and they dont take people in order of arrival instead whose a regular. I wont be recomending this place and wont be returning. read more

I've gone to Nail World for years and it is easily my favorite nail shop in Buffalo. The staff is friendly, equipment is kept clean, and the service is great. I regularly get pedicures and manicures for special events from Kathy, Peter, Liz and Kia. Peter is great at gel manicures and Liz's pedicures are the best in the city. I actually moved into the city a year ago and drive out to get my nails done at this shop. Call ahead to make appointments on Fridays and Saturdays. Walk-ins are welcome, but you might be waiting a while on their busy days. read more

Love it here! I try have Liz do my pedi's when I come if she's available. She is fun to chat with if I am in a chatty mood and does a great massage on my legs, I never want her stop! I highly recommend reservations they are a very busy salon. I often take my own color so I have it for touch ups but they do have a great selection of fun colors!! Should Lalita D. look at reviews again, I like it that I have my own files, pads and buffers so I know I am only getting my own germs, I just bring them with me for my appointments! read more

The Nail World website for the Transit Rd Williamsville location says that they open at 9am. They don't open at 9am because that's when i arrived there and saw that they were not open. I don't know what their hours are cause they're not post on the window or door. So, as a new customer I had no idea when to arrive. Went somewhere else cause I saw their hours and were open. read more

I'm in the market for a new place so I decided to give this place a try. The technician who did my pedicure was nice. I was impressed by the materials they used and how nice the salon was. I knew that must be why the prices were so high. Their overhead must be unreal. Towels with the salon name embroidered on them and everything. She even used fresh sliced oranges to massage in the scrub from the upgraded pedicure package. But that's okay, I don't mind paying for higher quality products and service. At this point I was very impressed. The issue came with the second tech who did my manicure. She asked me how I liked my nails so I was telling her. I'm particular about my nails-- the shape, the style... etc. But I'm by no means a jerk about it. I simply know what I want and I ask for it. My nails are my thing. I love my nails, everyone loves my nails, I get compliments on my nails all the time. They're nothing spectacular they're just really nice. Anyway, I was telling her what I wanted-- my natural nails are nice and really healthy so I only want clear acrylic or some kind of clear overlay on top to strengthen them. I clean at work and it's rough on my nails. They'll break if they aren't reinforced. I also like my nails ballerina slipper shape. Basically they taper toward then ends and are squared off. But as I was explaining what I wanted she looked up, said something to the woman working at the next table, and the woman's head flew up and she stared at me with a look of shock on her face, and then they both laughed loudly and shook their heads. I'm not the kind of person who automatically thinks that just because someone is speaking another language they are talking about me. But it was clear in this instance they were. I didn't say another word the rest of the visit. I gave her a terrible tip of $5. I gave the other woman $15. With such a personal service like this the end result isn't all that matters. It's the whole experience, including how you feel when leaving. Not only did I end up having to get a colored polish on my nails because the material she used on my nails was so cloudy it looked terrible, but I had to file away polygel lumps along the edges of my nails that I noticed once I got home, my nails were more round than ballerina slipper (no tapering whatsoever), and I left feeling disrespected and offended. That's too many strikes. I will not go back.

I've tried a few high end places ($100+ for a fill) and a few lower end, and I think I've found my salon. They listened to what I wanted and I'm very happy. They're also fast and no need for an appointment. The head tech does not speak much English, so if you're gunna be rude, just go somewhere else. I got a full fill for $45. Can't beat it.
