Had a manicure and pedicure with Lien today and it was delightful! 5 of us from wedding party were there as a group. All the staff was pleasant and did a wonderful job! the salon though small is very clean with sterilized instruments, disposable items when possible and liners for pedicure basins. My acrylic nails were perfect! They look very natural and don't feel thick like they have when done at other salons. I definitely think I'm going to treat myself to this more often! read more

My cuticles were trimmed without my nails being soaked, which resulted in bloody fingers and it hurt. My gel didnt even last a week.

So I am currently looking for a new nail salon and this salon was rated well. However I experienced 50% good and 50% all bad. I got a full set and a pedicure. I am very happy with the work done by Hong (nails) he was very nice and friendly and talked to me while he worked, the conversation was great as well. I've kind of stayed away from full sets because I've been cut so many times by the drill that it just became something I could no longer deal with, however, he was very gentle with me. When I first seen the shake I thought he did a good job and I told him I was happy with the work (which I was) but as I look at them a day later I'm really not liking them. I asked for a natural size and shape and they all don't look that way to me. Im def the blame for this so he is still good in my book. I would rate Hong a 4 based on his work. Now on to the pedicure. I'm not even sure if her name because she literally only said about 5 words to me. She never asked me what type of pedicure I would like or anything. She just sat down and started working. This was the WORST pedicure and paint job that I've EVER had and I've been getting pedicures for quite some time now. The paint is sloppy and on my skin and it isn't smooth. I would NEVER recommend a pedicure from this place. Then I started to smell a horrible odor and I didn't know if it was the last sitting next to me or if the pedicure bowls weren't cleaned properly so another flag went up. It was just an overall bad experience. I'm not a complainer, which I'm sure I should have complained but I just paid and left. read more

I hate going to get my nails done. It is always so awkward and I never know how to ask for what I want without sounding like a psycho beyotch. That being said, I've been going to the same salon for over 4 years. But, I moved. So I had to try something new. A lady I work with was coming here and said she comes all the time, so I decided to try it. It smelled veryyyyy strongly of acetone or just lots of polish when we walked in but I adjusted quickly. We were helped out right away. My girl was 22, (we bonded), and she helped me get exactly what I want. She didn't talk TOO much but she talked enough to make me comfortable at a new place. She took her time on my nails, each one, and didn't rush through anything. Dare I say, she did better than my old salon ever did in 4 years. I could not be happier with the service. Great service, friendly staff...second time for a pedicure both were relaxing, felt great and comfortable environment with message chairs.

I've been here 2 times. The first time I walked in in a very busy day (graduations galore) and they squeezed me in. I did end up sitting with my feet soaking for about 30 minutes before someone was available for my pedicure. The pedicure was great (spa pedicure is worth the reasonable price!) the manicure I got was typical, the technician asked me if I wanted them square or round, how thick I wanted the French tip, etc... my second trip there I also had a fantastic spa pedicure and again waited for the length of an entire other persons pedicure with my feet soaking. I've been coming here for 3 years. I've tried other places. I always come back. They pay super close attention to my cave lady feet and hard working hands. There's never a long wait and they are always honest with you about how long it might be when they can't take you right away. This place has the usual products - OPI and Perfect Match polish and gel. I've never had anything less than a fabulous experience getting a mani-pedi. I recommend the spa pedi - they are generous with the leg mask and massage AND lotion. Went here for the first time yesterday. The atmosphere was great, but the work was not. There are probably better techs in the salon, but the one I had didn't do well. I got a fill with gel French tips. They aren't capped and one is already chipping. Also, I wanted a Christmas design. Was hoping for a tree or holly berries, something like that. When I said that, the lady said "no I can't do that" and then proceeded to paint what look like peppermint sticks. I wasn't too happy but went with it because I'm not one to complain. I asked her to put a green line above the French tip part and for both the stripes on the "peppermint sticks" and the green line, she should have done two coats but didn't so they look sloppy. On top of it, I was charged $40. Last place I went to did a removal, full set, gel polish and design which was super cute and charged me $50. Also, if u plan on tipping, bring cash. I used to be the only guy - sitting solo at my favorite salon - surrounded by 'many' beautiful women (not a bad thing, really!). Now, more and more, there are other men who show up to take care of ... necessities. There are two main reasons why I'm noticing this: The first is that guys are getting more comfortable with a process that women have been accustomed to for years. We're trying to do our part for our significant others to: keep the grey out, keep ourselves well groomed and - to stop shredding those expensive cotton sheets with unsightly toenails. (By the way there are a few women guilty of that as well. I do hope you ladies get the hedge clippers out.) Along the lines of crude instruments of torture, I know a few guys who, taking the matter into their own hands, plugged in their Dremmel and started carving away. While this sounds wildly crude and caveman like (No offense to the Geico reps) - I assure you, it's been done. I'm relieved though - that they're now comfortable enough to seek out professionals and get the job done right. The second reason I'm noticing this trend is because the place I'm talking about - Luv Lee Nails - just does a marvelous job for us guys. They make us feel at home in what might sometimes be an uncomfortable and new frontier. I can't speak for the women who use their services except to say that, when they leave, they look damn nice! So dudes, (ahem...gents) whether you're planning a special night for you and your lady, or you just want credit for being considerate and thoughtful - come visit and drop your inhibitions at the door. Only weird things were when the guy who started on my nails pulled out the cuticle cutter with someone else's cuticles left on it and quickly brushed them off before doing mine. I got my nails done on a Friday, had issues with a specific gel polish however they assured me the issue was fixed. On Sunday the polish began peeling, I called to tell them with the issue and was told that if I couldn't come in that day at 1pm it couldn't be fixed due to booking. I requested a credit to come in the following week as I work during the day. I was told that I wouldn't get a credit even though the nail polish was the issue, with the explanation "I don't know what you do for your line of work" with attitude that I was criticizing the work of the owner. That was not the case, I blamed the polish however the owner insisted it was my fault. NEVER AGAIN! I don't not recommend this place due to the lack of customer service from the owner specifically and terrible gel polish products. read more

I have been going to this salon for about a year and a half now. I have had my nails done by LeeAnn, Uyen, Kim, and Hoang. They are all so professional and always do such a great job. I like that the environment is very "family" like. I usually bring my 5 year old and everyone is always kind and interactive with her. For the past 9 mos. or so I've solely gotten my nails done with Hoang. He has never nicked me with the tools, my nails are never sore, the area is always clean, and my natural nails are always in good condition if I decide to take a break from acrylics. He has done incredible design work for me in the past as well. The pedicure stations are always clean and a bonus- the massage chairs are so relaxing. I stopped in here last week when my regular salon's power was out. I was accommodated right away (as a walk-in) for two services and left very happy. I've been here a few times. Not the best nail techs but a convenient location for me. I came in around 6pm for a manicure and pedicure. My pedicure was rushed I rarely had any soaking time. I made a few request because this is a every 2 week routine for me I know what I want. The lady gave me attitude. My gel manicure was horrible!!! Horrible is an understatement and as I tried to make a few suggestions the lady pushed my hands down, snatched them and just got really rough. At the end I made her take off the gel polish and I still paid. The polish was too clumpy, my cuticles were bleeding, I had polish on half my nail, overall it was bad and I refused to be stuck with taking the polish off myself.
