The usual place I go to for pedicures is out on Niagara Falls Blvd., so it was nice to choose a nail studio that was closer. My mom and I went for pedicures. I showed them what I wanted they said they couldn't do it and suggested I get something simple. During my pedicure they said someone would do it, but for $15 extra a nail. This nail salon moved across the street into the old Kentucky Greg's and they did a great job with the space? It's a totally different place now! It's bright and inviting, and I like that everyone is in one main room as opposed to the old place. They had a greeter today who was great at talking to you and explaining things, and she made me feel great. The prices are average for the area, not overpriced at all. 4.23 UPDATE.. I went to get a fill for my nails on 4.12 and by 4.17/4.18 I had 2 nails (1 on each hand) lifting up and I had no clue why.. Evolution Nail is the best!! I have been here a few times the past few months and every time the nail techs always pay extra attention to detail. My first experience here was a spa pedicure. They took their time and it had to be the most relaxing pedicure I've ever had because It didn't feel rushed. I've been back for pedicures at least 3 times since then and every time is the same. They put this "milk and honey" mixture on your legs that makes them super smooth! Tyler did my Christmas nails and he is really good at fancy/detailed nails if that's what you like! This is my all time favorite salon to go to for a spa pedicure or a manicure. All of the employees are always so nice to my Mom, sister, and I. The usually remember what we discussed months ago. The salon is usually busy but they are able to accommodate everyone that walks in the door. There are 4 massage chairs for pedicures. Each time I have come here for a pedicure I have left satisfied. I have never had a bad experience with any of the employees. One of the gentlemen even made jokes and got me laughing. The salon always appears to be clean and I have never seen tools used on more than one person without being sanitized. There is also a warming cabinet where they keep fresh, wet wash cloths to lay over feet and legs during a spa pedicure. I would highly recommend Evolution nails. I have been going to Cindy for years she is the best nail tech in Buffalo I get so many complements on my nails it's not even funny! She takes exceptional care of my nails they rarely break and I never get hang nails which used to drive me crazy. She does a wonderful job and they last forever I can be three/four weeks in and someone is telling me they love my nails. She is extremely sweet and professional. In a world where there is a nail salon every 3 feet, Evolution Nail is the place I always seem to gravitate towards. It's always clean, always well lit, and always welcoming. I popped in not knowing exactly what I wanted, but knowing that I would pick and choose my services at my own leisure. I started with a spa pedicure (any pedicure service more complicated than the spa pedicure is a RIP OFF kids) and picked my color. Tyler not only gave me an amazing pedi but also delighted me with stimulating conversation about gender reassignment surgery in Bangkok. I knew I wanted some sic acrylics and Tyler set me straight that the latest and greatest Coffin style was the way to go. After a quick google search and a flip flop shuffle to his nail station I was ready to take the plunge. As my anxiety rose over putting my boots back on Tyler told me that if I chose to put my boots on and my toe polish smooshed, not to call him but to dial 911 and tell them my toes chipped. I became nervous and fussy during the mechanical sanding of my nails and Tyler said "if you want to see blood......keep moving ur hands from me". What I strangely appreciated was that he made sure I could make a fist when determining the appropriate length for my nails, as if I get into bar fights twice a week. I then read him his astrological profile and pointed out all of his character flaws. I really enjoyed this experience and will honestly keep returning to this location for services. It was really nice to spend an hour or so pampering myself while simultaneously engaging in really funny small talk. Oh and also.....my nails look insane. Like, I love them. read more

I had made an appt at 2:30 with Tyler and I walk in and there is a lady in the chair that he's working with so I'm thinking it won't take that long no big deal. So I sit down and I waited 30 minutes just to get put in a chair and wait another 15 minutes for him to get done. This is not his fault the lady didn't have an appt and he has thanked me for waiting so long and was very sorry. After waiting I finally got in the chair and he started doing my acrylics. I just wanted a fully set with matte black nails and jems that's all. He made them a bit to long but when I asked him to make them a little shorter he didn't mind at all. Then I went to go sit down and wait for my nails to dry for about 15-20 mins then he calls me over so he can put the jems on then I go back and sit for 10 more mins. After all that I go to pay him and my nail smudges and by that point I was just aggravated and wanted to get out of there. After that I got in my car and smudged then again. Mind you after he put the jems on and I waited 10-15 mins to dry he told me "that should be good enough". So I leave and go on with my day and I look down and a jem is already gone!! I was super mad that I had paid $45 for my nails and for the jem to come off even though I wasn't doing any type of activity during the day to cause it to fall off. Overall Tyler was very nice and did and good job on my nails but I definitely would do gel next and tomorrow I'm going to get the jem back on. I would definitely recommend Tyler but make sure to get the gel because it will take a long time to dry. read more
