Made my 2nd trip to Nu Nails. They did a beautiful job on my ugly toe nails. Super sparkly gel pedicure. I have had past pedicures at other nail salons that either did not have enough sparkle or chipped. Gel polish should not chip. Their price is more than reasonable. For both my visits, I was accommodated without an appointment. The technicians are friendly and thorough. They concentrate on their customers and do not spend time speaking to each other instead, in their native language, which I have encountered at other salons. I see mostly Michael and I have NEVER had a chipped, cracked nails; no lifting ~ they are just wonderful. I highly recommend their pedicures, especially the paraffin wax! I've been going to Nu nails for over a year now. They do my acrylic sets, pedicures, manicures etc. I go to a different person each time. They consistently do a good job. The acrylic nails last a long time and always look very nice! I would especially recommend Tony or Lisa. read more

I came here for a gel manicure and pedicure. I was prepared with a picture of how I'd like my nails as I was getting married in 2 days. I paid for the spa pedicure which wasn't much different than a regular pedicure I'd normally get anywhere else. When I sit down to get my manicure I noticed my nails weren't even. They were filed more in a slant but the nail tech went back and forth with me that they were even. I had to insist they weren't in order to get her to even them out. Now we are on the polish portion of the manicure and you can see where the polish was very uneven. Parts of it thicker and you can see the dividing line and in other areas it was so patchy you can see my nail. Again I had to go back and forth with this nail tech as she kept telling me it's ok. I'm paying for the service and it's not ok to do a crappy job and my nails were nothing like the picture I showed! I gave a credit card for my form of payment and as I'm adding the tip she stops me and asks "you don't have cash?". I still gave a good tip and she was lucky I did. I didn't want to give her anything. The picture is after one week. I do not recommend this salon at all. read more

I always see Kim, she is the best! I use to go to Tammy but I was informed she was no longer there. Kim does an excellent job...or as the kids say...keeps my eyebrows and nails on fleek. Anyways, she keeps my eyebrows even and my nails perfect. Since I type a lot at work, I find fake nails to be inconvenient. I get a mani with gel polish. The gel polish comes at a $30 charge. WORTH IT! My polish as I type now....is two weeks old. I will post a pic. My nails still look fantastic and there are no chipping. So if ya wanna be like me and have nails that look like you just walked out of the salon. Go here, now...yes they are even open on Sunday...what???! read more

This used to be my go-to place however, over the past few years they have slipped terribly. Literally every single time I make an appointment, I get taken AT LEAST a half an hour AFTER my scheduled time. There is no sense of urgency until you're in the chair. That's when they decide to rush because there running behind. What is the point of scheduling an appointment? There are 100 different places in the area that run on time and will see you at your scheduled appointment time. Do NOT waste your time here. Where to begin... I have only ever come here for eyebrow waxing (which they have done a nice job doing). Today I figured I'd give a mani/pedi a shot. My mistake. The polish job on my feet is horrible. Not to mention the entirety of the pedicure took 13 minutes. They charged me an additional $5 to remove a tiny bit of polish from 2 fingers. When I asked about this they said "foil removal is extra". Had I known that I would have stopped them from doing it. A dark piece of hair got caught on my pinky nail while she was clear coating. I showed her as soon as she was done with that nail. She told me "too late it's dry", and didn't not fix it. Lana, the woman who did my nails was rough, inconsiderate and quite rude. I think in regards to Nail Salons its all about who you have. I had Victor and he was excellent. Anytime I get a pedicure and don't want to jump out of the chair because I am so incredibly ticklish is a great experience. I got a Manicure and Pedicure for $35, which in my mind is very reasonably priced. I had no appointment and got there early enough on a Saturday so they got me right it. The whole experience was great, my only minor complaint is I hate trying to be up sold and he was a little pushy about the gel manicure. I usually come here to get my nailcare. I would have given more stars but my polish job is horrible. I never leave like this. The polish looks thin as if it's not enough coats and it's into my cuticle. I had them done 1/2/18 and it's 1 day later and I do not like the look of how it's polished. read more

Although I have visited Nu Nails a few times in a pinch before my last appointment and was okay with the services they provided and thought the nail technicians were pleasant enough, my recent appointment proved to be my last visit there. I got a manicure and pedicure. Even though I had an appointment, I waited for a significant period of time. After waiting, my nail technician was very angry and in a rush. My water (for my feet) was COLD and he was VERY rough while handling them. On top of being careless, he was ranting and raving in another language and engaged in a dialogue with the owner the entire time he was servicing me. I honestly felt like Elaine in Seinfeld the entire time I was there...except, he did a crappy job on my manicure as well, unlike Elaine's manicurist. My nails were crudely filed, left with jagged edges, and my nail polish started chipping off the next day. Obviously I was not expecting an Excuria-like experience in a plaza nail shop, but a pleasant experience would have been nice. I won't be returning to Nu-Nails. read more

Have been here very often and always pleased. Kim is always outstanding and consistent in her work. But....... Last few times I have had Tony work on my pedicure. As soon as he knows you do not want the 35 dollar pedicure he insists you should have, ( he even tells you "it's better") he does everything he can to rush you out. True !!! I had a full pedicure in 22 minutes!??? Come on guys! He has become very sloppy on polish, Which I showed him and He told me it was fine.... He was rough and never smiled once I said I didn't want the higher priced pedicure. Also carried on complete conversation in his native tongue that I felt was about me. I feel the service here has really diminished. By the way, I am a regular and have ALWAYS tipped very well .. Back to Cindy nails I guess. This place is right by my work, so I decided to try it. Ever since then, I won't go anywhere else. When I get my nails done, the most important thing to me is not necessarily the atmosphere or the experience itself, but the end result. That being said, I have never had a bad pedicure here. However, I would suggest that anyone looking for a relaxing manicure or pedicure steer clear of Lana. All others are kind, and make it a great experience, as this is a service industry. I did not enjoy my pedicure a few months ago with Lana, but wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. After today's manicure, her sour puss, pulling of my hands, pushing cuticles till they bleed, I will never let her touch me again. This place is one of my faves. I go at least once a month (my gel lasts that long). It is exactly what they claim....a strip mall nail place. The people here are easy going and laugh alot. I'm usually in and out in about 90 minutes. Thats a gel manicure, pedicure, parafin wax and eyebrows. Part of why I love it is the efficiency. read more
