The massage was just an average massage nothing deep enough to improve muscle aches. The place was clean and easy to find.

I'm going to be honest I've still never tried this place and I don't think I will. The appointments for dip were booking too far out for me. This place is appointment only. They also only do regular polish or gel on most days it seems which is okay, but I was hoping for more from this place...especially because it presents as being more high end. The woman on the phone doing the scheduling when I called did not seem as quick witted as I needed. She was very slow with answering questions. There were long unexplained pauses on the phone. Maybe she was young, but maybe someone more confident and professional handling the phone would be better. She was explaining to me the time slot for my waxing would have to be at 11 because I had two places to wax on my body. It was a Brazilian and an upper lip wax. I don't know why she had to even tell me that because I know to wax your lip taxes one minute. What was the point of explaining or pointing that part out? They also do not remove acrylic if you have that on your nails and I cannot understand why. Just seems like a place where you would assume they offer a lot, but seems like not really. Still looking for a good nail spot in the city. It's very sad one does not seem to exist. I ended up cancelling the appointment I was looking forward to for a long time because the appointment with everything I wanted was going to have to be pushed out another month. I received a gift certificate for Rejuvinex almost a year ago and I didn't use it right away. Then Covid hit and before I knew it, it I thought it might be a stale gift certificate! So I emailed them and received an email response immediately that was very warm and kind and told me I had nothing to worry about, make my appointment anytime. I got an appointment for a manicure and pedicure and again I found them to be absolutely wonderful warm and friendly!!! They called to confirm my appointment, again they were so friendly I seemed genuinely happy to be doing their job. The next day they called and asked if I could be there about 15 minutes early , I was ready and waiting at their door ahead of my appointment. They had all their safety precautions in place including plexiglass guards between everyone. The salon is very open calm and serene. In fact I think if you drove by you would never know it was a nail salon , maybe a meditation studio. I had a wonderful technician Greg ,was never rushed and listened to my concerns. He was very good at his job!! I fun and I had a relaxing time and laughed too!! May feet were exactly the way I like them. The. When he did my manicure he asked me through out the steps if I liked the shape , the cuticles the color and so on. Now here is the proof a truly good technician, after getting my cuticles trimmed I have no hang nails!! Some of you will know exactly what I mean. So thank you Greg! It's not a mall cheap experience, so if that's what you want this isn't your place. But if you want a calm , well done manicure or pedicure then by all means treat yourself or get someone you love a gift certificate so they can indulge. read more

I received a gift card for Christmas for Rejuvinex, so I decided to give it a try. I had a very relaxing massage with Kieta, who was lovely and sweet. The massage was heavenly and I didn't want it to end! The only reason I gave this place 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the lighting in the room. No one wants to be facing a bright light during a massage. Soft and low lighting would have been much better. Also, soothing music would help with the whole "relaxation vibe." This is where I go to treat myself. OK, this is where I go to treat myself in a healthy way that does not involve indulging in excess calories. But if you really want spoil yourself, book yourself a spa package at Rejuvinex and then afterwards, enjoy an ice cream sundae at King Condrolls just down the street. Do it, it's wonderful and you deserve it! The first time I came to Rejuvinex I came as a walk-in. Presently they are booking by appointment only. But I would recommend booking in advance regardless. Several times I have called with only a day or two notice and they have been all booked up. I have come here for massages, manicures, but most frequently spa pedicures. The prices, while in the "treating myself" range for me personally, are more than fair. I don't think you will find lower prices without sacrificing the experience and quality. Tiffany took care of me this time. I was long overdue for a professional pedi and my feet were in rough shape, literally. She did an amazing job and with such a sweet and caring rapport. She even recommended a product that I can use at home for that tough, dry skin on my feet. Every employee here will make sure that you have a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The first two times that I came here I was surprised how numerous girls, not just those that worked on my nails, complimented me and asked if I enjoyed myself. Everyone that works here seems to really get along and help each other out too. I'm having difficulty articulating it exactly, but it truly is such a positive and relaxing atmosphere. I would say that Alicia, the owner, does a great job hiring the right people and must treat her staff well. In regards to our current social climate: lots of sanitation going on here between customers and even during your treatment. Masks are worn by customers and employees. Waiting is done outside until it is time for your appointment which must be booked in advance. Spa is at limited capacity. Social distancing and cashless payment in place. This is my happy place. I have been coming here for a few years now and have gotten countless manis, a few pedis, a facial, and a prenatal massage and have never been disappointed. I always recommend this spot for anyone looking to have a pleasant spa experience in a chic, clean, and calming venue. What truly makes this place stand out above the rest is the staff. When the best part about your mani/pedi is the fruit infused water that's not a good sign. Down to pay for a nice luxurious experience and I got none of it. Hard to relax when they are rushing one of the nail techs to finish one lady so she can start my mani. The nail art I wanted was something geometric and she straight up drew a line on each nail--she said it was minimalist. Way too expensive for the price of $3 a nail for a jagged stripe. What was crazy is another person was getting this intricate mermaid design. It seems like if you don't get their one awesome nail art person you are out of luck. UPDATE: I returned to Rejuvinex after the owner Alicia reached out. She's absolutely amazing! After the visit I've returned a few times for pedicures and WOW I'm hooked! I haven't gotten a pedicure anywhere else in Buffalo because I know that I can get a great one here. Definitely a better and greater experience and I will keep coming back!!! I'm glad I gave it another shot and now I even refer my family :)! Thank you Alicia! So I spent over $80 on a pedicure and gel manicure. Waste of my money and time. 2.5 hours later I'm left with choppy looking cuticles, uneven gel, dry skin, and even gel on my fingertips. WHAT?! During my pedicure I mentioned wanting some extra attention on my toe as it was hurting and instead I was asked if I cut my own toenails often. No actually my PODIATRIST does. She barely picked at the skin then kept going. Giving some excuse that she can't do too much because it might hurt. . Then barely even cleaned up my hands. What did I pay for a "spa" mani pedi for if my cuticles aren't even going to be cleaned up? At the end of the mani I'm asked if I wanted some lotion on my hands. My 1st experience was not the best, and I really wanted it to be. Okay, so my boyfriend and me visited the salon on Valentine's Day and booked me an appointment for a "hot rock massage and Brazilian wax", which took weeks for me to get in. The day of my appointment I was called in 30 mins early for my "waxing" and then I would go right into my massage. I agreed. Once I arrived I was approached by the wax tech that said she would be doing my "wax", and so she had my get ready while she stepped out. She came in prepared to do a bikini wax, and when I told her that I booked a Brazilian wax she says to me in a unprofessional manner that she only does bikini waxing, and that she stopped doing those, and that she don't have time to do one (mind you I'm 30 mins early). The tech then proceeded to talk to the manager and came back with the offer of 10% off my next waxing. I told her as politely as possible that I would not be back. Fast forward to my massage, the massage tech Cadesha approached me whom was like a breathe of fresh air. She was genuinely empathetic to my feelings about the waxing experience which helped me calm down. Also, this was my 1st time having a massage and she made my experience enjoyable. Her demeanor, personality, environment, and aura is amazing. Although I won't go back, I would recommend her services for massage. Okay, so back to my massage experience. As Cadesha was doing my massage I'm thinking to myself the hot rocks should be soon, but as it seemed she was wrapping things up I asked at what point the hot rocks would be inserted. She apologized for not realizing my massage included the hot rocks and attempted to get them ready. Long story short the rocks were broken by the previous massage tech, so she apologized and said she wouldn't be able to use them because it would scratch my skin and offered her massage services to me with a complimentary hot rock add on. She proceeded to have the hot rocks removed from my bill. When it was time to pay I asked the front desk girl to refund me for the balance on my gift card since I would have no use for the rest, she spoke to the manager whom agreed to refund me which made me satisfied. read more

My partner regularly passes Rejuvinex on his commute. He gifted me a gift card for my birthday last year - which felt more like a 'convenience' gift because if it was a 'I know you and what you love' gift then he would have driven to the spa in Amherst that I love and bought me a gift card there. Anyhow: I visited Rejuvinex recently and am glad that I didn't spend my 'own' money there. I booked two services there, both were sub-par. The decor was nice and everything was very clean, but there is some difference in what's offered on the website and what they actually offer in person. I don't want to give myself away, so *as an example* I'll say that the site offers French manicures but then you get there and they tell you: 'Oh I don't do French manicures usually, sorry.' The hours listed on the doors aren't the same as they are on the website, which is strange. The place is located at a busy intersection, too, so it's pretty impossible to not hear all of the passing traffic. Despite the music, you can still hear the traffic. I mean it's understandable, but not very spa-like. When I checked out, the receptionist asked me if I wanted the balance on the credit card that I used to book the appointment - she didn't even tell me a total! I wasn't even sure how much the gift card was for because I've had it for nearly a year. Plus, the service that I had wanted wasn't available and I had no idea what the 'smaller' version cost, so I had no idea what my bill was. So I tipped a bit less than what I had planned, because I 'guessed' that my total was slightly less expensive than I had originally calculated. I won't be back. read more

I heard so many good things about this salon- I was excited to try it out. I went for a polish change on my nails and toes in preparation for an upcoming trip. The nail technician was very nice but clearly overbooked and rushed. She didn't paint my nails or toes all the way down to the cuticle line so they looked grown out and sloppy immediately. My gel nail polish peeled up 2 days after getting it done. I am really dissatisfied, especially because it was quite pricey ($52). I still gave her a generous tip because I know it's not her fault that they are rushed and overbooked, but I feel like I just wasted my time and money. read more

I've had pretty good experiences here, have always gone back but my most recent visit has me questioning whether or not I will. There have been plenty of times where they're running really behind, I've even had them forget to call me when my appointment had been canceled. I was waiting for 20 min in the parking lot bc the building was completely closed. Ended up late to work lol but even then I thought it was worth my time and money to go back bc I was getting a pretty good manicure. This time though, I had a nail tech I've never been with before and she didn't seem to know what she was doing. She cut my cuticles dry which was a horrible experience. I do always keep my nails in shape but she didn't file them at all to touch them up. I pay a decent amount especially with added tip so it was disheartening to leave the way that I did. Honestly I can't believe no one said anything when my nails looked like this. Not to be dramatic, but my fingers are still sore to the touch. If this has been my first experience ever I most definitely would not be going back. At this point I'll probably take a break maybe look around for something different or just really pay attention to who I'm scheduling with. What a wonderful experience with Chantale and Marie! My fiance and I decided to spend some time together on his day off by getting the Rejuvinex pedicure. I've never gotten a pedicure before so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was blown away! From the moment we stepped in the door, we knew we had made a good decision with our choice of spa. The atmosphere, the customer service, and the pedicure itself felt like the height of luxury to me. And to be honest, I thought the pricing was more than fair for the experience we received. The spa itself was nice and open, with the manicure and pedicure stations organized around the periphery of the room. Nice large windows let in a bunch of natural light. I would note that I'm not sure I would choose to go for a massage, because the massage rooms were down a hallway but only separated from the main space by curtains instead of doors - that wouldn't really feel like enough privacy to me. Chantale and Marie were extremely professional, courteous, and pleasant. I got the sense that if we wanted to just sit quietly and relax that we wouldn't have been bothered, but my fiance is chatty and they were more than happy to make conversation! The pedicure was WONDERFUL! We went with the Rejuvinex because I wanted the 15 minute foot massage instead of a brief massage, according to the descriptions online. Each stage of the pedicure was done with care, and we didnt feel rushed at all. I've always had pretty callused feet, and Marie really put in the effort to get these puppies smoother than they've ever been! The sugar scrub in particular was lovely. I received a gift card here and booked a 60 min Swedish massage for myself. The woman was not extremely friendly but I figured she might've been having an off day. The massage itself was great - the only complaint I would have is she began without any warning so when her (cold) hands touched my back it was very startling. Once she finished she told me I could get dressed and left the room. When i checked the time it hadn't even been an hour since I had gotten there, let alone been getting the massage. If I had to guess the actual massage itself was probably around 40-45 min. I'm glad I used a gift card because you would assume that paying $80 for an hour gets you an actual hour. I booked an appointment for my two sisters and I last week, and we had a fantastic experience. My nail tech, Lynnsey was so great and made me feel super comfortable despite my worries/embarrassment about my bitten nails! My sisters and I got a table together so we could sit side by side. It was so great to be able to sit together unlike some places where the squish you in wherever you can fit. Both of their nail techs were great as well, and the conversation never dragged or felt uncomfortable. We all got gel manis which turned out beautifully! The prices are a bit steep, but honestly, it was so worth it to be taken care of like we were and to have the great experience that we did.
