Randomly made an appt 24 hours in advance for a haircut with Danila. She was great, consulted with me and offered her recommendations on an appropriate cut for my thin/straight hair. Loved the scalp peppermint rub and hot towel with the wash. Was very accommodating when I asked for a bit more length taken off during the cut too. read more

Thought I would try this place,but...disappointed. I have very short hair,and needed it refreshed. I enjoyed the stylist,very pleasant. There's supposed to be a complimentary scalp rub and hot towel,never got. Can't believe the cut cost $65.00! Too expensive for such short hair. Was referred to Donna for sugaring as a very last minute before vacation thing. She was able to squeeze me in, in which I'm so grateful for. We were greeted so warmly by all the staff and offered water and snacks. We also received massages from Jennifer while we waited and I honestly felt like I was in heaven, hands down best massage I have ever received, everything I imagined a massage would be, soothing, calming and relaxing. The sugaring was much better for me than waxing was and Donna was so professional and talked me through the entire process. I made an appointment for a friend and I to get pedicures and I hadn't been here since they just had two chairs tucked in the back. Now they have a larger space with 4 pedicure chairs in a row. They have the nice leather chairs that massage you and are attached to the whirlpool tub for your feet. Everything was set up and ready when we arrived and they made a fresh pot of coffee for us. I had Jennifer and she was fabulous. Really beautiful end result and perfect foot massage. I would definitely go back! Very reasonable price for a real salon also. read more

I came here to get my hair and make up done for a middle eastern party. Melissa worked in me and she's fantastic. She's very accommodating and listened to all my suggestions and gave me advice on what styles I should do. I minus one star because the make up wasn't what I wanted. I love Aveida products! They work so well. But my make up wasn't what I wanted and my fake lashes were put in back words (found out in the middle of the party as they were coming off). I'll definitely come again! I have been going to Salon Allure for pedicures for a few months and love the fact that the area is tucked away from the hustle & bustle of the main salon. The lighting is subdued with comfy leather massage chairs & soft music. My feet needed some TLC after busy summer activities and Caroline worked miracles on the soles of my feet and toe nails. The products she used to massage my legs & feet left them hydrated & soft. I highly recommend booking with Caroline for one of the best pedicures. read more

As for my hair stylist, I'll just say she wears black & has long dark hair & has the first chair. She's a goddess when it comes to cutting layers (just saw her on Groundhogs Day 2019). Great sense of humour & appreciates talking about Bravo shows. She does an amazing job every time. Will have to try a massage next. I went to other Aveda salons in Williamsville, & others in Amherst, this bar far is the best! The prices are fair/not bad. My only complaint is parking. Shocked there are no more reviews of this AVEDA Salon. Came here as an out of towner looking for a shampoo and blow dry. Because our meal at a nearby restaurant went faster than I had anticipated I walked in almost an hour early for the appointment, but they were so gracious and accommodating. I got taken in within five minutes by Melanie White, one of the managers. What a wonderful experience! Melanie was awesome - took her time to understand what I was looking for. Everyone there was really friendly and the service and interaction with all was professional and responsive - the clients walking out looked amazing. A fantastic place, it seems they've been around for a long time. Popular with locals because they seemed to know a lot of their clients well. While on vacation, I had my hair done in NYC on Madison Ave. You'd think stylists in the Big Apple would be top notch, but that was not the case. Very expensive, and I was not thrilled with result. Then when Covid hit in March, I was unable to go to a salon so I had to wait and live with the cut until salons opened. I found Salon Allure and booked an appt w/ Michelle on 7.13.20. She listened to how I wanted my hair regarding the color and cut, offered advice, and I'm thrilled with the results! It was well worth the wait! Best salon in Williamsville, and believe me, I've lived in Williamsville for 20 years and have visited almost every salon up and down Main St. Salon Allure puts everyone else to shame! read more

They have a beautiful remodeled space with parking set aside for salon guests. Everyone at the salon is so friendly and welcoming. The music is very relaxing and the atmosphere over all is very calming. They offer different oils for you to choose for your foot soaks during you pedicures and a very thorough message chair. If you want to ruin your hair, go here. I came in for highlights. I already had grown out highlights and lowlights in my hair with roots about 1/4 way down. I asked the stylist not to touch my roots (a dark ash brown) and just blend in some cool highlights to look more seamless in a balayage type style. She assured me she understood. Half an hour later my entire head was RED. She proceeded to try and tell me it looked good though it wasn't "exactly what I wanted". She ended up redoing the whole thing, re-bleaching my hair again now to get rid of the color she put on my roots even though I asked her not to dye them in the first place. That turned my hair a bright burnt orange color. ALL of it. ORANGE and coming out in clumps from the completely burnt ends because of all the processing to which the "stylist" suggested "we just cut it short". I left the salon crying on my way home 5 hours after I'd walked in there. The next day the owner calls me saying if I didn't get exactly what I wanted they'd redo it, NO THANK YOU. It took me over $200 in work to fix the color and somewhat texture of my hair at a different salon, and it's going to take a long time for it to get past all the damage. If this review could save someone else such an awful experience I really hope it does. read more
