We went to NachoDaddy in Henderson for dinner. We hadn't been to one of these before and we had a hankering for some nachos. We were not disappointed! The servings were huge, easily enough for two people. They were also delicious. Our server was Iliana and she was excellent and attentive. Ambiance was good but not great. We ate inside and wished we had eaten on the patio. The music was pretty loud and it was hard to talk. Would definitely go back again and split a dish even if very hungry. read more

Wow, so happy to have found on YELP! The food was so amazing, and flavorful. We placed our order and it took about 25 min to receive, which I'm happy to wait for. You know it's not something heated and thrown in a microwave. All of us in our group enjoyed our meals. We would definitely come back here and recommend to others. Food here is yummy! I came two within two days and still didn't disappoint. Service was quick we got seated very quickly and the staff is most definitely very friendly. I would definitely recommend to come and try it out. I do suggest come early in the day given it has bar where you can watch sports but I don't think the wait would be too long. read more

This is a new Nacho Daddy location that sits on the St. Rose stretch in Henderson. Though the name is Nacho Daddy, they don't have just nachos, they also have other Mexican dishes to choose from. My boyfriend and I chose to try this place out for dinner on Friday night, having never been to Nacho Daddy before. Quick tip: if you're heading there from the beginning of St. Rose/Pecos, you will have to make a uturn at the stoplight on Starr, since there's no designated left turn lane. I made a reservation for later in the night at around 9:00pm, just to avoid the dinner rush (I heard it gets REALLY busy, especially on weekends). We requested a high top patio table, since it was a nice night outside. It was still busy but not very packed. There were still customers coming in, but at the same time it died down pretty quickly as time went on. Our waiter for the night was Brandon. We started off with some margaritas - a house margarita for me and a daddy margarita for my boyfriend, both served on the rocks. The daddy margarita was in the the biggest margarita glass I have ever seen, I'm not even lying. Next, we shared a plate of fiesta nachos, and that plate was also huge! It reminded me of the skillet nachos we had at Hardway 8 in downtown Henderson. We were expecting this anyhow (prior to I viewed their pictures on Yelp), so we planned ahead of time to share the plate. It was tasty and full of many flavors, such as guacamole and chicken. Then, we got ourselves two burritos, the Cali burrito and the fajita burrito. Both came with nachos and they were excellent! The burritos were packed with tomatoes, onions, guacamole, and chicken. Of course I had to take mine home. It was a pricey meal, but it definitely matched the quality of the food and drinks. We'll give them a try again next time. read more

I've tried a couple of Nacho Daddies and this was excellent like the others. The service was spot on and never had to wait for anything. The fajitas are lit on fire right in front of you which is entertaining. It's a big place with plenty of seating including booths, tables, and a nice bar area. They have music videos on all the TVs and I've enjoyed all of the music from every genre. It's my go to Mexican restaurant when in Henderson or on the strip. read more

I was so excited to learn that there was a nacho daddy in Henderson! My bestie and I went for lunch yesterday and ordered lunch and bottomless mimosas. Mimosas were $25, which I thought was a reasonable price. What I do not think is reasonable is having to wait between drinks for legitimately 20-25 minutes each time because our server kept forgetting to put in the order. I absolutely understand working in food service and being busy and accidentally forgetting to put in the ticket once or even twice. However the restaurant was nearly empty. What I don't understand is it happening 5 times in a row. Eventually the front of house manager noticed we had been sitting there without drinks for quite some time and came over to check on us. After we expressed we had been waiting for 20 minutes for a mimosa, the drink magically appeared 2 minutes later. She did hook us up with a free dessert (that also took 20 minutes) for the inconvenience. But let's be honest, having to wait for 20 more minutes for 2 churros and ice cream was more inconvenient than just leaving. I'm including a photo of the dessert to this review and you can decide if that takes 20 minutes. Overall the food itself was very good and filling but the service was so slow and frustrating that we won't be back. Over all for 2 people we were there for 2.5 hours because of how slow everything was. read more

It's nice to have Nacho Daddy open near us! My fiancé and I went to Eos gym and decided to get some lunch right after. We arrived when they first opened, so we beat the rush. Luis was our waiter and he was great! We got seated and I checked into Yelp and saw that they offered a free house margarita if you order a combo meal and decided to get that. My fiancé got a Modelo. The house margarita was super fresh and strong. It was very tasty! We ordered the combo seafood platter plate and the filet mignon nachos. The seafood platter combo plate was delicious. The enchilada was filled with lobster and the grilled fish taco was very tasty. I'm surprised the fresh mango on the taco tasted delicious. The downfall was that they ran out of the seafood enchilada sauce. I'm sure that would have been yummy. The filet mignon nachos were okay. Everything on the nachos were very fresh and well seasoned except the filet mignon. It was chewy and there was no taste to it. There also wasn't that much of the filet mignon on there for the price. Pretty disappointing. It almost has a texture of the original Tostitos chips you get from the grocery store. The house made chips would have been great if it was super thick and crunchy. Went to the location off St Rose at 10:30am. They were not open But the manager came out and told us they open ay 11 and invited us back at that time. Arrived and were taken to a table. We sat for a little bit and the waitress stopped by for drink order. She was very pleasant, her name was Liz. She got those in and stopped back for food order. One of my daughter's new favorite restaurants. We have eaten here the last two times we were in Las Vegas, once on the strip and this time, we ate at the Henderson location. It was super convenient to the South Pointe hotel with easy parking, no wait, not too crowded and lots of options on the menu to choose from. We stopped by this location for dinner as it was the closet to our resort. I was so excited to hear they had vegan cheese nachos. The place was busy so we sat at the bar. I ordered the fajita nachos with vegan cheese because I still love meat (dairy hates me). These nachos were loaded with fresh yummy goodness. Hubby ordered the special nacho of the month that had shrimp. Bartender said she could eat the whole thing. But my hubby couldn't! They don't skimp on the shrimp! It was huge as well! Also, service is unbelievably slow! People are nice but absolutely beyond slow. Should not take almost 30 min for nachos!! Then another 30+ min longer before we had to go hunt down our bill. I chose the special: pork carnitas nachos cheese, with cotija cheese pickled red onions, cilantro, avocado, sour cream, cheese, red and green tortilla chips, and pico de gallo. It was ready within fifteen minutes. The employees are friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a great vibe, the ambiance casual. It's a clean, efficient restaurant. The prices are reasonable. I took my to go order to my husband's work. We couldn't wait to delve into the massive, cheesy goodness. It was fresh, hot and delicious. The pork was tender, it was too salty for our taste but overall it was a tasty meal. There was a lot leftover so I took it home to my daughter who enjoyed the rest of it. I recommend trying Nacho Daddy if you haven't yet. The portions are large and a good value for the price. They have other nacho options and entrees if you don't want nachos. read more

My husband and I went to this newer location today. We didn't like the ambience as much as we liked the one in Summerlin, but it looks nice. It has a lot of natural light. It does look a bit like a sports bar, though. We were seated, and the server came to take our order a few minutes later. I ordered their Daddy's Classic margarita (original, frozen) and some carnitas nachos; my husband ordered a coke and some crab and lobster nachos. The drinks came, and the margarita looked nice. I tried it, and it honestly tasted like a slush. I couldn't taste any tequila to start with. Also, the salt grains on the brim of the glass were HUGE. Not sea salt huge, but much bigger than regular salt. As it liquified, it tasted a little more like tequila, but not much. I'm no drinker in general, but I am Mexican. I know how margaritas are supposed to taste. That was NOT it. They need to use better tequila. The salt on the brim of a glass is not for decoration; you're supposed to be able to drink from the glass without feeling like your mouth is full of salty sand. The food took some time to arrive, but it was very good. The carnitas were delicious, and I do not say that lightly. My husband also liked his nachos very much, although there was practically no lobster taste at all (claw meat is extremely mild). His portion was much smaller than mine, though. I have leftovers, and he doesn't (and his nachos were more than $10.00 more than mine). The price did shock us. Not even two years ago we paid approximately $45.00, and this time it was $80.00. It was very overpriced. The service was nothing to write home about. They took their time to bring the food, and more to bring the check. All in all it's a good restaurant, but I'm giving it three stars because of the price, the less than stellar service, and that sad, sad margarita. I don't think we'll be going back, at least not to that location. read more
