Wife and I couldn't decide where to eat yesterday. I remembered seeing a video on IG from @BrandonFromVegas and the food looked great when he was here. So we decided to try it out. It was about a 15 min drive for us but the food was well worth it! The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the interior of the restaurant needs some TLC. Aside from that, service and food were fantastic! Claudia was our server and she was not only friendly but very personable. Bonus - she had a great smile I ordered the chorizo and eggs that comes with rice & beans, and tortillas of your choice. I opted for corn. The chorizo was delicious. You can tell it was a high quality chorizo because there was no overflow of grease, or grisle. Beans and rice were both delicious as well. I used the tortillas and made mini breakfast tacos and they were "Chef's kiss" Wife ordered the Abuelita's chocolate French toast, with a side of bacon. French toast was ridiculously tasty! Bacon was exactly how it should be cooked, crispy! It was also high quality and was very meaty and not fatty. We also ordered a glass of champagne at 10$ each. Which seems a bit hefty, but as you can see in my photo it was a serious pour well worth the cost. On a side note, they have a promotion that is only available at the Henderson location. If you order a mimosa and or a glass of champagne and take a picture of it with your meal, post it on social media and tag the restaurant, they will give you a FREE MEAL on your next visit. I satisfied all the requirements and the manager came over to double check and then he handed me a card for a free meal on my next visit with no restrictions on the meal which is nice. This is a hidden gem for the breakfast spots in Henderson. I get seated very quickly and served almost immediately. The menu is as big as Cheesecake Factory and it all looks amazing. About everything has a correlating photo. I always get the chorizo and eggs combo it is very nostalgic for me. I'm not a fan of pancakes but their stacks are fluffy and flavorful. You cannot miss with any meal. read more

We were looking for a quick and easy pre movie spot and decided on Elys. It was 4 pm and we were the only ones in the restaurant. Our server was super friendly and attentive and got us all we needed . I ordered the kids pancakes and it was the perfect size and came with bacon and eggs. I really didn't want a big meal and this was perfect. My wife had the chicken tinga and it was very tasty. Overall we enjoyed our meal and will return. My one pet peeve is the 3 percent fee for credit cards. While it was only .75 it's the cost of doing business and the customer shouldn't have to foot the bill. read more

Fooled me. This restaurant serves American And Mexican food. After looking at the enormous selection on the menu. I settled for one of my older favorites The menudo was excellent and served with all the condiments expected. Pretty darn close to how my Dad used to make on special occasions when I was young. Our greeter/waitress was excellent. The atmosphere was just like any family run restaurant. Pleasant surprise and great food. Worth a visit read more

I'm so mad that I didn't see there was an Ely's here sooner. I live fairly close to this area and go to the other breakfast place across the street quite a bit. I like the Trop location of Ely's but it's a bit too far for me and I'm so glad that this one is closer. Walking in, we were greeted warmly right away. We were also sat right away. The restaurant is fairly large and the seating is nicely spaced. It's very clean and nice in here. Our server was super nice, making sure we got everything we needed. She checked in on us and refilled our coffee quite a few times. The food is excellent here and a great value. The meals are pretty large and I like to take the leftovers with me for lunch the next day. I love the chilaquiles here, they never disappoint. Both the red and the green sauces are great and if you can't choose, obviously you can have both. I tried the chicken tinga omelet this time and WOW, it's going to become one of my go to items. read more

My number one complaint was that the AC must not have been working because it was insanely hot in here, I was sweating, which made me sick so I couldn't really eat. The food was fine. My boyfriend got the breakfast burrito and pancakes and said they were fantastic. I was unable to eat my food from being overheated. If they would just make it cooler in here so I didn't get sick and could actually eat this place would've been better. Servers were very friendly and helpful. Review from 2025 read more

Once again, a quick search found this hidden treasure. What a great find. Easy to find inside a shopping center. There is no missing this place. It is big, bright, and a great breakfast spot. When you walk in the doors, the place is super clean and nice. It doesn't feel overwhelming. More like coming to a friend's house for breakfast. Which is a nice thing to have. Mia was our waitress, and she was awesome! She had great suggestions, good sense of humor, and made the meal much more fun. There are just so many choices, but honestly? I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu. I did the combo menu and let me tell you, for $16.99, you get more food than you should humanly eat. Pro tip: make sure you order the bacon extra crispy, as well as the potatoes. Perfectly seasoned and it was just a great breakfast all the way around My breakfast included caramel banana, French toast with a scoop of ice cream on top. There aren't many things in this world that I would say would change my life, but this was definitely one thing that would change my life. I would highly recommend getting a glass of milk with breakfast because finishing that off as a dessert is the way to go. Bottom line? I will definitely be coming back here again, although I have to remember to bring my elastic stretch pants next time. read more

I came to Ely's for breakfast to try it out as I have seen reviews for this restaurant on Facebook and Yelp. I got the breakfast combo with 2 eggs, 4 sausages, hashbrowns, and the strawberry banana French toast. The food was really good especially the French toast so I'll have to try other items on the menu. Service was a bit on the slow side but the waitress was nice and apologetic about it. Overall though the food is more than enough to keep me coming back. read more

Updated review*****came here for my son's birthday breakfast before heading to the movies around the corner, it was steady for a Saturday morning and we were seating quickly. Drink order was taken and food was brought out pretty quick, my only complaint is we both had water and had to ask for refills when we set the cups at the end of the table, I noticed she looked but then walked past us, we are very good tippers since my sons also works in a tipping industry but, we didn't tip as much as we normally do and that was due to being ignored. All in all the food is always decent each time we visit and while it's not all the time, we will continue to come here for the yummy pancakes the service is ok, but it could be better too. read more

Service very friendly. Food came out fast and all tasted really good. I ordered a Jamaica and Horchata, but they are not made with the traditional ingredients. It's more like a mix or something artificial. The ambience is pretty cool. They were playing 80s music. The seating is comfortable, plenty of booths for small and large groups. Also, area is spacious and plenty of room to walk between tables. The menudo was spot on, the flavor was clean and bursting with that traditional red broth flavor. I so wanted to like this place, thought for sure it was going to be a hidden gem with comfort diner food combined with authentic Mexican options. First things first, let's get the fact that the service here is very friendly and attentive. I don't like leaving a 2 star rating when they're so nice, but I consider 3 stars average and as much as I don't want to be that guy, this was a 2 star meal. I ordered what they said was their most popular special. It had their famous chilaquiles, ribeye steak and eggs. I asked if she preferred green or red sauce, she said she liked the green but that she could do half and half for me to try both. Great! The green sauce was really good, I liked those. Not exactly the best I'd ever had but they were good. The red sauce was strange tasting to me, not sure how to describe it, but I ate one bite and didn't touch the rest. The eggs were fine, but they had a big piece cut out of the whites, so the presentation wasn't ideal. It was no ihop presentation. But the biggest crime was the steak. I wasn't expecting it to be some high quality steak, but this was one of the worst steaks I've ever had... maybe THE worst. Not only was it very sinewy and difficult to cut, but there was absolutely no seasoning or flavor, no sear or char either. I added a bunch of salt and pepper which helped a little, but it oddly did not have any beef flavor. The only thing I can theorize is that the steak wasn't fresh at all. It was pretty nasty to say the least. Hate to say it. Needless to say, after a few bites of that I was extremely put off and lost my appetite for my order. When the waitress came by, she saw that I had only eaten a few bites of the steak and the whole portion of red chilaquiles was still there. As one of their most expensive dishes and 3/4 of it uneaten, I feel she should have addressed the elephant in the room but she did not. She did however offer us whatever kind of pancakes which was her way of making up for it. Was a very nice gesture, but still feel like she should want to know why I didn't eat the breakfast so they can improve. The pancakes were pretty good, they had ice cream strawberries and bananas. But on top of everything else we already experienced, there were bites with fringe pieces of sautéed onions and savory seasonings... clearly from cooking on the same grill as a savory dish lol. Not the end of the world, but at this point I'm just like can't I get anything right here? The tap water is the worst as well lol... lemon wedge wasn't saving it. So I'm sorry it didn't workout for me. There was a steady flow of customers so clearly other people like it. Unfortunately I can't ever go here again. read more

Selene was an excellent server who made delicious suggestions and gave great service. We had pancakes with lechera and Maria chocolate, menudo, chicken fried steak and the 3 sopes. Portions were big, food was hot and fresh. Already recommended to friends and family. read more

This is clearly a local breakfast spot in Vegas. We found it by accident near our hotel. It's located in a small strip mall. Prices are affordable and food is good. Service is also on the spot. Everyone was very nice and we didn't have to wait long for our food. We will clearly return if we are in the area. read more

Did someone say MENUDO?! Coming in we were greeted and seated right away, very spacious place great for small or big groups and definitely family friendly. We ordered the menudo and in simple words DELICIOUS, they have the menudo just the meat but for us folk that like hominy (grano) they have as well as pata with a side of tortillas or bollio. The highlight besides the food being good is the treatment towards my son i appreciate when people take the time to talk to him as well as bring him his food first. The restaurant itself was clean and well kept and lots of light .Definitely will recommend and be back for more yummy food thank you for the excellent customer service! read more

Decided to try this place for the first time for me after hearing great things! Upon walking in there was a nice man who let us know we can sit anywhere we like so we chose a booth by the window. It was a spacious restaurant with nice natural lighting. I ordered a Jamaica and my boyfriend ordered an horchata. He got a Diabla shrimp plate and a small posole. They had so many options on the menu and pictures for each one which was nice. I wanted to keep it on the healthier side so I went with the steak fajita taco salad. I got some blue cheese dressing on the side. The salad was amazing I really enjoyed the fried tortilla it was served in. All of the ingredients were fresh and cooked nicely. Wondeful food! Great service from Claudia. We arrived for a late lunch on New Year's after an afternoon of shopping. I ordered the chilaquiles bowl with asada, sunny side up eggs, and both red and green sauce. It was delicious! I think I like the green sauce better but I definitely like the red sauce too. I absolutely love coming to this place. The staff at the Henderson location are always so professional and kind. I have NEVER had a bad experience. The food is always great, additionally I'm very picky on my eggs and I have never had any issues even if I need them to take them back and cook harder . I appreciate the waitresses Selena was great stayed on top of drinks and our food my expectations are never disappointed when I come here. read more

Great place to stop by and enjoy amazing food. I got raspberry ice tea and steak tacos and they were made perfectly. Will come by again most definitely! I love the style of the restaurant and the music is great to listen to while enjoying a good meal. Not very loud either which is a plus. My sister saw an advertisement of this place in Instagram, so naturally we wanted to try their pozole on our trip to Las Vegas. The location is in a shopping center, plenty of parking. Family friendly. Many, many options for food. Not many places have tasty, full-flavored, full bodied pozole and menudo. I would highly recommend. Sincerely, tastes just like grandma made it. Our server, Daniela, was super nice. Customer service was great. She warned, Sunday mornings are very busy, but in the mid/late afternoon it's not as busy. Came here on a Monday afternoon and it was not busy at all. The inside was very spacious and clean. My waitress, Imelda was very friendly and welcoming. We had an Horchata and an Orange Juice and they were both very tasty. My boyfriend got the Chocolate Chip Pancakes Combo and he loved them. I had the Strawberry Cream Cheese Crepes Combo and it was also delicious! Everything tasted freshly made and was very filling. Would def recommend! read more

They have a very large menu. It was hard for me to make up my mind. Everything looked amazing. I ended up getting a chorizo skillet and it was amazing! It came with a side of 2 huge pancakes that I couldn't finish. I took those home for later. They feed you here! Service was great. They work together as a team it seems so we never had to wait for refills on coffee or water. Everything came out fast too. read more

We came for lunch on a Monday and got seated immediately. We got the pozole and three meat burrito. Both were great. The service was excellent as well. I like that they give you a chili oil with the pozole that actually has a great kick. They have a ton of different types of french toast that look so good. The prices are also very affordable. We will definitely be back to try the menudo and french toasts! read more

I always get that, along with Lolo Rick's Adobe Fried Rick--which, again, is large enough for two people to split. For a few bucks more, you can upgrade its side to two babystacks of your choice (which is more reasonable to finish than the short stack). When the bill came, a total is provided if you pay by cash, and another if you pay by credit or debit card. The card fee is 6% of the subtotal, which is not stated explicitly. That is double the 3% cashback rewards on my credit card for dining! Needless to say, I paid with cash. After Memorial Day 2026, this business will reopen in a new location across the street, by the Galleria mall.

Definitely a good crowd for Saturday morning. The food is off the hook!

Seeing as how it's the last Henderson spot which I hadn't tried, I decided to rectify that oversight today. I was thinking breakfast at first, but the Lamb Sandwich ($17.99) caught my eye. After clarifying the form of protein with the server, I said yes to this offering. I'm glad I did because it's a stunner. To start with, the bun is nice and soft. The pulled lamb is so tender and surprisingly free from gamy flavor, and whatever it's braised in does so much work making it irresistibly tasty. Then the tzatziki creaminess, tomato umaminess, and even the banana pepper tanginess really round out the flavors. Even the cucumber slices are perfectly portioned to add some crispiness and flavor. Fries come with the sandwich. I was hesitant since they were thick and also very brown. Fortunately, they were soft and fluffy inside, and there was enough crisp from the potato skins. They were actually a little undersalted too, but when I finally flagged down the server for some ketchup, I unlocked the code. The fries are just about perfect with a healthy amount of that Heinz goodness. I did get a bite of breakfast though. My friend's Ube Pancakes ($14.99) were cited as a dish to try on that top 100 list, and I can see why. There's plenty of ube flavor, and a good balance of a lightly crispy exterior and soft interior. The fresh mango and berries were a great touch, as was the whipped cream on the side. I'll have to have a full dish for myself one day.
