Best breakfast spot! I love the train that runs around. The service is quick and the food is delicious!

When visiting Las Vegas we always try to make it to eat at Egg Works! This time I had an issue with my internet connection ( which they told us was bad because of the airport) and I was trying to pull up my Groupon voucher. The staff and especially the manager ( sorry I didn't get names) were both so very patient and trying to help me pull up my voucher! Thankfully it finally pulled up and we were able to redeem it! Tip: if you are using a Groupon voucher or any digital coupon to take a screenshot of the voucher/barcode as you may experience the same internet issues as I did. Overall, food was good, seated quickly and didn't wait long for our food! Their banana nut muffins are so good! The manager even gave us some muffins to take home because of the inconvenience! Loco Moco (hamburger) was terribly burnt. That's all we tasted... charred meat. Too bad, I'm sure it would be good if it wasn't burned to a crisp. Service staff was very friendly. Breakfast burrito was solid. Kids liked their pancakes and potato but I thought it was way too salty. Worst of all, we realized once we got to the restaurant, our pre-order on their website had a 20% up charge for to-go orders. A to-go order that I picked up. They said door dash charges the fees but nowhere does it say it on the site. Disappointing. A $16.50 burrito became $20, etc. read more

What a cool place! I had been to one other one located elsewhere in the valley, but never this one in particular. When my friend recommended we go check it out I was all in! You really can't miss the cheery bright yellow egg works sign on the building., and since it's in a shopping center there is plenty of parking so no need to freak out about having to walk 200 miles to get to the restaurant. Inside the restaurant is airy, cheery, and inviting. We were escorted to our table right away, and within seconds our waiter came up and asked us about drinks. We ordered Waters and a couple of beverages for breakfast and settled in. In a perfectly acceptable amount of time. You came back and asked if we need any more time on our menu items and we said no. I ordered the country fried steak and eggs, which came out absolutely perfect. The gravy was to die for! And it even came with a very delicious banana muffin and a bowl of cottage cheese. Breakfast was awesome, and I will definitely be coming here again. It works out awesome! When you find a good breakfast spot close by where you are visiting clients and of course seeing friends. I took a friend from Hawaii to Egg Works on E Sunset, just past S Eastern Blvd. This is one of my "go to" breakfast places in Vegas as they have an extensive menu and interesting décor. My friend marveled at the train running around the perimeter of the restaurant. She ordered the Veggie Benny with fruit and a plain waffle, while I tried the Stuffed French Toast with potatoes. A mixture of scrambled egg, cheese and your choice of meat (bacon for me) is stuffed into thick slices of bread, dipped in egg wash and fried. It's the potatoes that make me return to Egg Works. They're little pillows of goodness tossed in their signature "Habla Diablo" spice mix. My friend didn't want most of the Hollandaise sauce on her Benedict, so I spooned it onto my potatoes. My family loves coming here when they are visiting from out of town. They love eggs. but me? I don't lol !! But luckily, they have many options on the menu to choose from. The coffee here is delicious and rich in flavor. I love the banana bread with some butter mmm so good! Whether you want a hot breakfast, something savory, something sweet, something for lunch.. they have a nice variety of food to choose from. I love the atmosphere here too. For my recent visit I did ask the waitress what meal she would recommend between two I was on the fence on to try. She suggested the cheesesteak. I was hoping for one I could eat like a sandwich but I had to eat it with a fork. It was rich and maybe too salty for my liking. Everything else I have had from here is great though. This place was an experience and not one of those experiences I want to repeat. We were in town visiting, and a friend in the group said they had really good food. We drove a good distance to make sure we tried this place. It was a busy Saturday our group was split into two tables on the patio. When they brought our food, the person told our table they messed up one of the orders at our table and after waiting for 45 minutes they said no worries I will take the wrong order and started eating it. After a couple bites they figured out the wrong meal was supposed to be for the other table. Instead of apologizing for telling the separate tables they messed up the order they blamed us for eating the wrong meal after they said it was an error in the kitchen. The person who recommended this restaurant happened to be one of the people whose order they messed up. When it came to the checks after she had to waited twice for her meal the manager offered $4 off. After some back and forth the manager ended up comping her meal. Now there are 12 customers who won't return to this place in our future Vegas trips. It makes me sad because the food really is good. read more

This was a fun surprise in Vegas. We were looking for a relaxed place to have breakfast - away from the Strip, a place where we could easily drive and park - and we found this based on reviews. It was pretty popular on a Saturday morning, and we had to wait but only about 15 minutes. It definitely has a casual "breakfast place" ambiance, but it has more personality than say a chain like Denny's or IHOP. There was a model train running around the edge of the restaurant near the ceiling, and the servers were very friendly and seemed to have a fun personality to match. The food was excellent. I got the biscuit and gravy breakfast with scrambled eggs after being assured it was homemade and I was not disappointed -- and mind you, I'm almost always disappointed with biscuits and gravy west of the Mississippi. So that's quite a feat. The biscuits were light and fluffy and clearly homemade, and the gravy was homemade too. Not a TON of sausage in the gravy but that's just a quibble. I was so thrilled to have delicious biscuits and gravy. Husband had the eggs benedict and was very pleased. Daughter got an omelette with a homemade banana muffin on the side (instead of toast) and the muffin had just come out of the oven and was delicious. Not too sweet (in a good way). She was happy with the omelette too. The coffee and decaf were brought to the table in our own carafes, which was nice, and we got a drink with POG & champagne which was really delicious. We had a really happy family time here, very relaxing, with delicious food and warm hospitality. I'd come back here any time I'm in Vegas. read more

This visit for us was just two of us and we were sat down right by the bar . The staff is absolutely amazing here. This type of place sparks up conversation because of the ambiance . It's a little vintage style sheet that you order from. Just love all there is about this place. And we have not even ordered yet. As you are seated and do the order dance. You question, hmmm is that good or perhaps that . It's all looks too outstanding. You know what I have not had in a while, waffles. They dress up the waffles here with whipped cream and fruit. It's just darling. The man in the picture, definitely decided on the bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich. It was all delicious and outstanding. Now after eating a meal and experiencing this establishment the employees are so positive and happy . They smile all the time too. You can tell they enjoy coming to work . This place is a classic old school diner and I loved it! When I got the coffee they left the pot on the table the entire time. Service was great with amazing people and it was very fast. For me, the menu was overwhelming and it had no pictures but the waitress suggested some crowd favorites. Portions are very generous given the price. I ordered from the Fall Menu. The Drink menu offers variety. The food was as wonderful as it sounded. A unique thing they do is off half portions on some items. My husband had 1/2 an egg-taliono omelet. My opinion is it was the perfect size My husband's opinion is it tasted great. I got 1/2 order of biscuits & gravy. The thickness of gravy was perfect with wonderful flavor & just about the perfect amount of pepper. I also had the pumpkin spice pancakes with nuts & butterscotch chips. A flood of flavor & a small overload of sugar. It was delicious & my new favorite pancakes. Thank goodness. Quick word about decor & how friendly & willing to help everyone is. Our favorite part of the decor is the model train that runs around the walls of the restaurant near ceiling. It just pushes decor over the top. We (kinda model train aficionados) wondered what gauge the train is. Asked Bee who didn't know, she got her manager, who didn't know, but he got the general manager, didn't know. I was in Vegas, and a friend who lives there recommended Egg Works, so I decided to stop by before my flight. When I sat down, I immediately noticed the little train moving along the ceiling, which was a fun touch. A common question I ask at restaurants is, "What is most ordered here?" so it was convenient to see the menu already had a section for their signature dishes. I ordered the Country Fried Steak breakfast, and it was delicious. The steak was tender and crispy, and the house potatoes were perfectly crunchy. I have a bunch of favorite brunch restaurants though those are mostly in Arizona. When I fly into Las Vegas and was greeted by two of my friends, they suggested going to Egg Works, which I hadn't heard of before. We went to this location and had a great time catching up with tasty food and an entertaining train traveling along the upper part of the dining room. I would certainly consider going back again in the future when visiting Las Vegas! When you sit down, you are given paper menus resembling a newspaper. There are many breakfast and lunch items and a bunch of drink options. There is also a value menu of items that cost $13 or less. My friends knew exactly what to order as they've been there before though I went back and forth over several options. I decided to go for the Bacon & Onion Skillet Breakfast, which starts with a layer of Habla Diablo seasoned potatoes (which sounds spicy but aren't), served with your choice of eggs cooked any style and toast or their famous homemade banana muffin, and consists of cheddar and Jack cheese. I chose scrambled eggs with wheat toast. You could add meat or an Impossible breakfast sausage for an additional fee. The skillet was delicious and quite filling! I would consider it again in the future. Yum! The customer service was good with our server stopping by on several occasions. There was also an egg card at our table, which you can get a server's attention by simply flipping the egg card at your table. My friends and I didn't need to do this at all. They checked on us off and on throughout the meal and made good recommendations to us during the meal. EggWorks was established in 1988 as The Egg & I but expanded into its sister restaurants called the EggWorks in 2005, which is now considered a flagship breakfast restaurant in the Las Vegas area. You can order food online or through delivery using Door Dash. You can also learn more about the restaurant at https://theeggworks.com. You can find menus on the website along with store items that can be purchased, and a mailing list for Egg-citing promotions, which include coupons and events to reward customers. There are seven locations in the Las Vegas area, and they all open daily at 6 AM and close on Saturday and Sunday at 3 PM or else at 2 PM on weekdays. I really like this burrito because it's not salty and the bell peppers really add an unexpected kick paired with salsa. Came here on a Saturday with 2 friends around brunch time. The place was pretty busy and took us 15min to get seated. The inside has a very nice old fashioned aesthetic to look at, there's even a small train driving around the restaurant. We each ordered our own dishes but I got to taste a bit of each one. Omelette 5/5: I had it come with a banana nut muffin, which was delicious. The side of potatoes are nicely seasoned. The omelette itself is quite big and cooked perfectly. French Toast 5/5: 8 cut pieces of pure French toast perfection. By itself, the crust has a nice soft crisp to it with a soft and fluffy inside. The syrup is sweet and the apple puree complements each other well. Eggs Benedict 3/5: Served in a pan, the overall presentation looks messy to me, as the entire thing is drowned in the sauce. You can't even see where the eggs are. I also wish the sauce was stronger, it felt like it was more there for the texture. My cousin picked me up from the airport and I was hungry and asked him to suggest a place where we could eat breakfast or brunch and he selected this place. It's a private parking lot. The atmosphere was giving waffle house so if you aren't a fan you wouldn't like it here. It's was loud. They actually had a train that went around the restaurant which I thought was really cool! Our server was pretty good. She kind of went off and left us for a little bit. Food: I got the Reuben with their potatoes. My sandwich was really good and those potatoes were delicious just as my cousin suggested. great flavor. Didn't need anything on them. My cousin loves their chicken steak with eggs and potatoes. These guys deliver breakfast the way the Broken Yolk should. A for effort means nothing if the food isn't worth returning for. I walked in and was able to sit at the counter since I was on my own this LAS trip. They're a very casual crew up there. If you're not okay with that, definitely take a table. Kristen efficiently took my order and they brought me two perfect over medium eggs with habla diablo potatoes, dry toast and turkey sausage really quickly. It's just under $15 but with coffee, tax and tip will take you closer to $25. If you're a hardcore coffee drinker at breakfast, the coffee isn't strong but it's bottomless. I've been to a different location and it was a a few years ago. The fresh brewed iced tea had little flavor. I had to exchange it for coffee. Coffee was good and not bitter. I ordered the senior special. Two eggs, potatoes, choice of meat (I got the bacon) and a choice of toast (I got sourdough) or banana muffin. The bacon was way overcooked. It had little flavor and fell apart. The toast was a bit bland as well. Not a classic sourdough flavor. My friend got the banana muffin and it was very good. I probably would not eat here again.
