Excellent food & service. This is a very busy restaurant but don't let the long line fool you. It is worth the wait. We ordered several items because we couldn't make up our minds. "Everything" we ate was excellent. The blueberry pancakes were light and fluffy and filled with blueberries. The steak was tender and juicy. The fruit was sweet and fresh. We ordered the eggs 2 different ways and both were excellent. The waitress provided plenty of jelly options with the toast and our coffee and water was continuously refilled. My plate of food had an allergy sticker on it. They were very conscientious about making sure there was no cross contamination.

The pricing seems reasonable. Came here for Lunch, yesterday, ordered Chinese food. The chicken fried rice and chicken chow mein were excellent. It came with crunchy noodles, and a bunch of sauces, plus fortune cookies. Huge restaurant. Leftovers. Generous portions. (Our son enjoyed it tonight.) We'd eat here again.
Went for the prime rib! Served 11am-11pm. I didn't want to go to the buffet as I can't eat that much and cost more $$$. So, opted for Coronado cafe. $22.95 for the plate. Comes with a salad too! I got my prime rib medium rare. I think I'll go rare next time. My piece was so melt in your mouth!!! I will have to try their $22.95 porterhouse steak next time! My friend got the corned beef hash. It was typical. We will have to try their graveyard specials too! This is my new go to eatery!
You truly can't beat the midnight steggs here. For $6.95, it's obviously not going to be the most high-quality meat but the value is just too good to pass up. On top of that, you get two eggs, hashbrowns, and toast. Perfect late-night comfort food, IMO. Line starts forming before midnight but it goes fast! We arrived a little after 12am, by that time the line was pretty long, but my friends and I only waited for about 15 minutes before we were seated. I was very grateful for the service here. It was so late/early in the morning but staff was so friendly and efficient. I really loved the old-school Vegas vibes here. I recommend ordering your steak slightly rarer than usual. I typically go for medium-rare but I ordered rare this time upon the suggestion of my friend as meat tends to get cooked a bit more here, and that turned out to be great advice.
Dropped by for the graveyard special. There was a long line, as expected, but it goes by fairly quick. I had the steak (medium well) and eggs (over easy), which also comes with hashbrowns and buttered toast. I should've followed my gut and asked for medium as the steak came in fully well done lol. It was still good and I like how the hasbrowns were more on the crispy side. Buttered toast was on the thin side but delicious. A fulfilling experience and for such a low price! Thank you!
This place is such a bizarre, beautiful post-rave find. This was one of the most absurd graveyard menus I've ever seen. The value here is genuinely insane. A half-pound cheeseburger with fries for less than a double double. the craziest one was a 7oz new york strip steak with two eggs, hash browns, and toast for under $7 this is definitely not a steakhouse. The steak and eggs were below average from places I've tried. The steak was tough and thinner than I wanted, so even though I ordered medium rare, it ate closer to medium. The hash browns were softer and mushier than I prefer, almost like rehydrated potatoes. The toast was spectacular. You get the option of rye wheat or sourdough and it's anll buttered. honestly, when you're eating this at like 3am after a long night, it absolutely hits. We also got the porterhouse, and that one was more of a flop. At around $23, it didn't feel like nearly the same steal as the steak and eggs. The mashed potatoes and gravy were bland and one dimensional, and the porterhouse itself came out more rare than medium rare, with the meat still clinging to the bone. Again, not a dealbreaker, but definitely a reminder that this place is about value and late-night comfort, nothing fancier. What really makes this place work is the combination of price, portions, and service. The staff was excellent, especially that late at night, and the whole place had a real local, old-school Vegas energy. It was still busy around 3 a.m., which honestly makes total sense. Deals this good are going to pull both locals and tourists alike.
Great waitstaff that work their butts off for the after midnight crowd. Never realized how busy the cafe is after midnight, the long lines move very quickly. The line was just as long when I left. I ordered the ny steak eggs with eyeballs up and hash browns. Not bad for a late night snack for seven dollars and change. I asked for medium rare on the steak and actually got it perfectly cooked that way. I'll need to come more often to take up on this late night snack.
Came here on Christmas morning, it was so packed! But we got seated pretty quickly. The server was super polite and fast . The mozzarella sticks were good . I didn't really like the nachos, they were pretty basic. I wouldn't order it again. The pancakes were so good and fluffy. There was a Christmas menu and it came with a salad or soup a main course an alcohol beverage and dessert! The meat was so good , tasty and soft. Overall it was a good experience we were in and out definitely would go back and try more things.
We always stop by (if the line isn't long) before watching a movie. The staff is always friendly and informative. I had a crazy craving that only this Cafe could satisfy. I wanted wonton soup, a slice of apple pie with a glob of delicious vanilla ice cream on the side. Thats exactly what I ordered. Somedays I order like a child The ambiance is old timey but reminds me of lunch with my mom (R.I.P) Our waitress was so sweet and even informed my partner that his Chinese dinner came with tea everyone was full and happy. Check out their daily specials!!
We had breakfast here while checking out of the hotel. It's close to the front entrance and easy to locate. Sonia brought us coffee & orange juice. David, our server was expeditious and brought out our order of Extra Thick French Toast & Short Stack Pancakes with a side of eggs & bacon all within 5 minutes! Everything was nice and warm and tasted great! Sonia stopped by frequently to refill our coffee. What a great team! Inside the cafe was spacious and clean. They can easily accommodate larger parties. Several tables with more than 6 people were seated next to us. As we finished, Marcy, the cashier was so delightful! What a wonderful way to start the day! South Point's Coronado Cafe is a nice option for locals as well as tourists! It's off the strip, free parking, and the staff are very friendly. I highly recommend!
This place was a middle of the road casino cafe that brings back serious memories from back in the day.. A good inexpensive breakfast.. I was surprised how packed the place was at 1am.. LOL There was a line as the place was packed.. I had a steak and eggs and a shrimp cocktail with ice tea.. Under $20 too.. The staff were super friendly and attentive.. The line was long on a Tuesday around 5pm. But the line moved fast. The service was......... I think that the server was ready to go on his lunch break so he wasn't very personable or friendly. The servers that took over while he was on his lunch break were equally monotone. It just didn't feel like a welcome environment. However the food was delicious. We shared a house chow mein, and a shrimp fried rice. The shrimp were plump and juicy. The chow mein did not have beef in it, and the pork was a little dry, but it was tails. The noodles were cooked just right. There are no takeout orders. And that is too bad because that is exactly what I would want to do to avoid the service we received. I left a cash tip. I don't know who received it. Maybe the midnight to 6 AM staff has a better attitude. We shall see. read more
Thursday, 4-02-2026: We were on our way home and wanted to eat somewhere reasonably priced, which is very rare to find these days in Las Vegas. We got tired of paying so much money for mediocre food. I did some research on Yelp and found the Coronado Cafe located in the South Point Casino & Resort has reasonably priced offerings. Another bonus is that it has free parking and plenty of it. We walked into the casino and we were surprised that it wasn't smelly & smokey. It looked clean and nicely decorated. We found the cafe, which was rather spacious. We waited a minute before being seated in a booth. Our server Pimsiri was very sweet and hardworking. I ordered the 9th Island Breakfast of 2 scrambled eggs with steamed rice, grilled spam and Portuguese sausage and hubby ordered scrambled eggs with bacon & hash browns. Our coffees were okay. The meals were tasty & satisfying. The cafe itself was brightly lit, clean, and comfortable. We feel we got our money's worth here. read more

Food was pretty decent. Cams here simply because of their $4.95 specials late night/early mornin! Service was great! Only thing is food was luke warm which was weird cuz it came out pretty fast. Anyway, place was actually pretty busy for 4am and clean! Will go back :) read more

Yeehaw! We have eaten here several times before, and this is my first time reviewing it (slacker). Wifey ordered the Aurf City omelet, a delightful dish made from egg whites for healthy tastes. I ordered the Loco Moco with country gravy instead of brown mushroom gravy. I'm not a mushroom fan. Our meals were fabulous and the size of portion were large so be ready for that. The prices for Vegas, not bad. We live SouthPoint and we live the vibe of this place. Our server was Ivan, we will call him Ivan the Great because he was. Super friendly, helpful, and compassionate. Arrived to the Coronado Cafe at 5:20 AM to eat steak and eggs for $7.45. It was so worth it. I highly recommend this rare gem. Feeding 5 people steak and eggs costed ~$35 total which is absolutely unheard of nowadays. It also tasted good! Advice: The toast is pretty buttered up which pairs nicely with the honey but if you're not a fan of butter soaked bread, ask for your toast to be less or not buttered. If food were the roulette wheel around which the South Point revolved, the Coronado Cafe would be its hub. In reality, of course, it's not; however, you will probably find yourself visiting this popular restaurant for a meal or snack if staying at the resort for any length of time. The main draw of the Coronado Cafe has got to be some of the excellent daily deals. When we visited in late-September of 2025, they were running a nightly steak special - either a prime rib or porterhouse (with salad and side) for about $20. Even though the South Point does host a popular (and inexpensive) daily buffet, this eatery is a great option for those desirous of a more traditional sit-down-but-casual dining experience. Additionally, this is also the spot where the outstanding midnight-to-6am jaw-dropping deals such as steak and eggs ($7.45), half-pound cheeseburgers ($5.45), shrimp cocktails ($4.45), etc. are served. Surprisingly, the cafe also provides an additional menu dedicated to Asian cuisine. My wife is a big fan of walnut shrimp, so our second night we shed our steak-loving carnivore skins and returned to sample this fair. Besides our aforementioned main dish, we added some spring rolls and barbecued pork appetizers and then split it all between our party of three. While we enjoyed our selections, we were amused to take note of other patrons approaching this menu in a similar "split-'em-up" fashion. We left stuffed, satisfied, and impressed at how good it all was! The one drawback of the Coronado Cafe can be its wait time for seating. This is especially true on weekends and the beginning of their nightly midnight-to-six special block. During these times, expect the wait line to curve beyond the reception area and out around the restaurant proper. Through it all, the cafe staff maintain pleasant and efficient service - though it can be difficult to flag one down, as they all are in a rush ensuring those hungry folk on the outside are making it in as soon as possible. With the great food selection and price specials, this is to be expected. Don't forget to check out the cafe's menu(s) when visiting South Point! read more

$7 and some change for some skeggs? Sign me up! There's a lot of places offering affordable steak and egg options from midnight to 6AM but i think so far, this is the lowest price ive seen. If you're craving some late night eats, check this place out. They have a graveyard menu ranging from burgers to steak. Graveyard Menu is for 21+ ...the younger ones will have to order from regular menu. We got there at about 1130pm and a line was already forming. Its located right by the casino so if cigarette/cigar smoke bothers you, you will definitely smell it. Parking is free in the open lot. read more

Local here and no matter how many times I come, I can never get sick of the steak and eggs after midnight special here! I've tried a few other spots that offer a similar deal but South point is just the go to spot. I've been coming since my high school days when they used to serve below 21, but even now that I'm way past that age, I still love to come and eat with my friends, family and partner. Service is always good, wait times fluctuate depending on the time I come and how busy it is, but I Will always come back and eat steggs read more
Just very well done for a very busy restaurant. Nice selection of food. Breakfast was ample and tasty. Also tried the Chinese food . We shared one dish. Servers are pleasant. Busboys/girls attentive and reasonable priced food. Met friends there and was very pleasant. Busy busy but convenient. read more
We have been coming to this Casino since 2008 and i think the food is still great here and especially at the Coronado Cafe. For our anniversary dinner we had the Chinese food menu and everything was perfect. Service was perfect and waiting to get a seat on such a busy night was only about 20 minutes. read more
Always a great spot to sit, relax and chow down. Food is on point and reasonably priced. Service is always excellent and served with a smile, whether at the bar or dining area. Always tip well. It comes back ten fold. read more

Café style restaurant located in the Southpoint Casino. The restaurant does not take reservations. You line up and they will see you in order. The restaurant has a breakfast menu and at 11 AM. They also have a Chinese menu available. The Chinese menu is very very good. While, they do not do bottomless mimosas they do two dollar mimosas. You can order any cocktail from the bar. For my meal, I had the wonton soup and tempura shrimp. The soup was very good. The tempura shrimp surprisingly was better than any Asian restaurant I have been to. We had a group of 16 ladies and they were able to separate each check by seat number. You then go to the cashier by the front and pay your bill by cash or credit card The waitstaff was very friendly and we had a great time read more

Not too crowded. Warm welcome. Comfy ambiance. Good service. Ordered from their Chinese (insert) menu. Not sure what I'm going to get since their main menu isn't Chinese but no regret not disappointed with what we got. Beef pepper was so tender and full of flavor. Egg fooyoong was good. Coconut shrimp was amazing. Shrimp was clean (not fishy), soft and tender. Price not too bad for flavor and amount of food. Worth another visit and try new item/s on their main menu. read more

Maybe avoid the bar after 3am when the last server is loud and trying to get out. Then the new server switches your food with the other persons and then the guy next to you asks to eat your bacon ever after I touched it. lmfao this place is something else after 3am . Glad no one asked how it was.... Gave a 3 dollar pitty tip . Ps a guy asked for lemon and the busser gave it to the bacon snatcher. Worst part it's not busy and very well staffed. read more

Such a good go-to. They have amazing deals and late night specials. This is one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Good quality ingredients and great flavor. It's only $5 or $6 during their late night special. But it is worth full price if you go during the day. The steak and eggs were good as well nothing special but a huge piece of meat for $8! I ordered medium for both pieces of meat and they were a little over cooked I would recommend ordering a level below how you would like it cooked! Definitely check out the south point. South points Coronado cafe used to be the place to go late night for steak and eggs but with inflation prices it's slowly no longer worth it. For a cheap end steak that is usually cooked incorrectly you're off going elsewhere unless you live close by. We used to make the trip across town for it but by the time you drive all the way over, prices just no longer make it worth going the distance. It's the sad end of an era ***********UPDATE************* They're under new management and if you get hot water, you get 1 lemon wedge. If you ask for another lemon wedge they will charge for it. Charging for lemon wedges is next generation CHEAP!! I'm surprised they haven't charged yet for using salt and pepper read more

Well, we finally made it to Vegas. Yay!!!! This place is one of the mainstays at the Southpoint Casino and Spa. Cafe dining with Mexi-American fare. Place was clean and spacious. Service very friendly and accommodating. It's 5am, so forgive me for not being as flowery as usual with my words. It's early. We had breakfast. Food was good. No wait. Fresh. Came here for their "graveyard special" with Juanwey and other friends. Ordered steak and eggs for $7.50. Steak was not the best but I who can beat this price. It was like eating a part of a beef outside of the loin part. Eggs were done to my liking and the hashbrown was crunchy on the outside. Service was great! read more
