Almost hitting midnight and starving so we decided on vig deli. Small restaurant aka deli inside the m casino tucked in the corner of an entrance. Their menu is extensive and we decided on Philly cheese steak and fish and chips. Both items were surely not a+ but surely did the job. read more

I was in the mood for a Hot Pastrami, and we were perfectly situated at the M to get one. So, we exited our room in the new tower, completed a little slot play, and came here for lunch. Self-ordering is done in a line. But the food came out fast after being ordered. A bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup was hot and very good, chock-full of carrots, celery, wavy noodles and cubes of white meat chicken. Too bad no Matzo Balls are available. But the bowl of soup was a meal in itself. I liked my Hot Pastrami Sandwich on regular Rye Bread rather than Marbled Rye, with Yellow Mustard rather than Dijon Mustard, containing 6 oz. of Pastrami. The Potato Salad I selected for a side offered a lot in quantity for a small sum. It contained some egg, but was otherwise rather plain. Yet, overall it was pretty good. On the other hand, Diane hated her Fish & Chips that included obviously previously frozen filets of fish not at all to her liking. Only a few Pickle Chips came with my sandwich. Otherwise, I was well satisfied with my food. read more

Stayed at M Resort and ended up eating her a few times, mainly out of convenience. The food is just ok. The first visit we ordered a pizza and it took 54 minutes to get it. I had to ask about it and they said it would be ready in 2 minutes. 10 minutes passed and they still had not called me. They then said they must have given my pizza to someone else. Meanwhile, I had told my BF to eat his Pastrami Sandwich which I had some of and it was fine, the meat wasn't anything great. I asked the cashier if I should order something else since I didn't know how much longer it would be. Christina (I think) a manager apologized for it taking so long and went to check on it. She made things right and I got my pizza shortly after. The pizza was fine, it had a good crust but seemed like there was too much cheese in it because you could barely pick it without everything falling off. There is plenty of seating, even when busy and they do a good job with clearing tables. They have the condiments and utensils area stocked well. We had Clam Chowder and Chili another visit. The Clam Chowder had good flavor, although not too thick. I did like the Chili, hearty- topped with cheese and onions. Again, the food experience was ok but mainly because we were staying at the M. read more

No frills deli at the M. You order at the counter and pick up your order when your number is called. Ample seating. There's an ice and water dispenser if you don't want to purchase other beverages. Bus your own dishes and trays. Stopped by here for lunch on our way home back to CA, saw they had oxtail soup on the menu and I had to have it; was one of my favorite dishes when M's buffet was still open (and I hoped it was the same). For $23.99, it sure was pricey! However it was a huge bowl of soup filled with tender oxtail, and came with a bowl of steamed white rice on the side...and definitely met my expectations. My husband had a pastrami sandwich and a slice of pizza, and both items did not look appetizing at all. The sandwich appeared dry, and the pizza looked sad & floppy as if it was microwaved - husband said the pizza was terrible. He ate only the cheese of half a slice and threw the rest away. read more

I had the opportunity to try Vig Deli for a quick bite. I ordered the Loco Moco, which is made with white rice, a hamburger, gravy, and a fried egg. This bowl was extremely dry and flavorless. There was not enough gravy to saturate the sticky white rice. The hamburger was a bit dry, and the fried egg was decent. This place is very fast-paced, with orders coming out quickly, which could compromise food quality. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The ambiance is fast-paced and loud. I really wanted this meal to work because it reminded me of my childhood, but it fell short. read more

Vig deli is a staple here at the M. It's been here for many years offering good food and reasonable prices. I've been here many times throughout the years during staycations, dropping in for a bite after a long day at the M pool, or just to grab lunch while placing a bet. Service has always been good and the deli is always maintained and clean. Sometimes they will have a line, but it moves pretty quickly. Most recently i had the French dip and my experience wasn't the same. I felt the meat was rubbery, oily, and not so fresh. Also the prices weren't so reasonable this time around. Was pretty bummed after spending almost $20 for my sandwich. read more

The food was just ok, typical casino sportsbook food. There is plenty of seating and it is located right next to the casino, so the noise level is pretty high. The ordering process was hurried although the cashiers were only on cashier duty as the kitchen area was full of workers. I stood by the order pick up area waiting for my simple order as number after number was called. As I stood there I could see most of the food prep area as well as the full expediting station. There was a lone order of fries sitting for the entire time I stood there, about 8/10 minutes. From where I was standing I could see the person expediting the orders use a gloved hand to touch the side of the wire/metal fry container and the touch the top of the fries. During the minutes I stood there she had the same gloves on and touched many surfaces, including her clothes. When she called my number, she gave me those fries she touched as part of my order. She pushed the tray at me and I pushed it back and asked her for fresh fries as I saw her touch them. She immediately grabbed the fries and literally threw them in the trash, wire/metal and all. She threw it in the trash with anger and at that moment I thought what a poor way to handle this situation. A nice apology would have been better. Enjoy deli foods somewhere else, as this place doesn't seem to care about customer service. read more

This place used to be a go to spot for me, but it has really gone downhill the past two years prices have gone up. The menu is custom changing and they take away good items and replace them with things that I don't really care for. I don't recommend this place. If you're already in the casino I guess it's a good place to have a fast snack, but it really isn't as good as it used to be in. Their pizza is really bad might as well just go to Domino's. read more

Vig Deli at the M Casino I visited Vig Deli at the M Casino expecting a quick bite, and it turned out to be one of the best casual meals I have had in a Vegas casino. The food is genuinely impressive. Everything came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The sandwiches are packed, the burgers are juicy, and the pizzas have that perfect mix of crisp crust and melted cheese. Even the sides taste like someone put real care into them. The fries, onion rings, and soups all had great flavor and never felt rushed or bland. The service was wonderful. The staff was friendly, fast, and attentive without being overbearing. They kept the line moving, checked in to make sure everything tasted right, and you could tell they take pride in what they do. It is rare to get that level of service in a casual spot inside a casino. The prices are very fair for Vegas. You are not paying Strip prices, but you are getting food that tastes like it belongs on the Strip. The portions are generous and the quality makes it feel like a great value. Overall, Vig Deli is the kind of place you return to because it is consistent, comfortable, and genuinely good. Whether you are staying at the M or just stopping by, it is absolutely worth a visit. read more

The food was okay. I ate here twice while my sister was at a work event. The steak nachos was probably the best thing I ate there, it was so filling that I couldn't finished the other food. The bacon cheeseburger was a little bit dry and the onion rings was just okay. Nothing to write home about. Both times that I was there, service was okay. It wasn't bad nor was it good. There was plenty of tables but I opt out to have eat at other areas of the establishment with a better view than the dining room. read more

This little hidden gem is found inside the M resort. I have never seen it until my boyfriend brought me here. He likes to order their pastrami sandwich on rye and their oxtail soup. I ordered a cup of clam chowder and a Cuban panini. They have everything from teriyaki bowls, to BLT's to burgers. Everything is good and there was quite a bit of people seated so it must be a good spot. We didn't wait too long for the food and everything was neatly presented. The ambiance feels like you are in a cozy living room at Christmas. There were Christmas trees and lights all around and it was an overall nice experience. Highly recommend :) read more

Located in the M Resort/Casino and next to the sports book. Good amount of dining tables and spacious. During concerts it can get extremely busy during dinner time, so plan accordingly. Workers here are always friendly and helpful. They do a great job of clearing tables quickly. Prices have gone up, but it's still a good deal for what you get. I like their sandwiches and ox tail soup, but lately over been getting their Asian Chicken Salad. It's a good mix of shredded cabbage, chicken, nuts, and fried wonton skins. Mix with their Asian salad dressing, it's delish! The M has other options for dining, but this is the place if you don't want a formal sit down restaurant where you order from a menu. The Vig is convenient, inexpensive, and satisfying. read more

Please do not buy oxtail Soup, they served cold, 1pc of vegetable and the vegetable was over cooked. Very salty and the taste of the meat was terrible, The presentation of the oxtail soup was not as good as expected as the price is $23.99 too pricey for that kind of food they served. Wasted money. I guess I'm being a little tough because of their reputation but I felt the food was way overpriced, there were four of us and we did not order a ton of food. We ordered sandwiches, burgers, fries, and sodas. Our bill was over $100! Usually, most casino food is either very good and overpriced or ok and a value. The food was just okay, and definitely not as good as I have had at other short-order stands in other casinos. I would not really call it a deli either, it had very few actual deli-type foods. It is a burger and pizza stand with a few other items. The staff was disengaged and poorly trained. Ask them a question about a menu item and we would get answers like I don't know, what does the menu board say as they shrugged. Ask for suggestions and they just shrugged again, one of the women behind the counter said "I' don't really eat here so I don't know what's good". We should have left right there if the staff doesn't like the food. And for that premium price, we had to seat ourselves, take our food to our table, get our own condiments, and fill our own drinks. As if we were at Burger King or some other fast food place. read more

What's with the low ratings? I personally love Vigs, the staff is friendly, and the dining section is always clean. The food is good and reasonably priced. Every time I go (or my husband), they always get our orders right. I think the ones who are complaining are really the ones who have high maintenance, and speak /treat workers rudely. Come on guys, I know some of you are using your Penn cash to buy food here, so don't be so difficult. It's basically free food, be grateful. read more

Will the Cook manager.. try to lie to me after eating and ordering food for over 2 yrs that this is their normal portion of chicken in their chicken teriyaki bowl . What he didn't realize there are previous pics in yelp that tells me he is lying about the portions. See the other reviews yourself. Their food quality service has gone downhill. I also ordered their pho ribeye. It comes with a side of bean sprouts , lime and bug in my veggies?? See my pic, bc it wasn't a good nite. Definitely expect health dept to hear about this. They don't care to ask if you want condiments anymore ( you have to ask for it) In the past they have . I bet they don't get paid enough to care. Cashier (she's nice) she gets . Their cooks not so much. Considering that this is inside of the M casino it doesn't match the quality of the casino. It doesn't help that their lying manager and the cooking staff set such a low bar. Your money can go further at Jayde 16 and other restaurants in the casino. My dog enjoyed it tho! So A+ dog food. read more

First I've been going here for years. They raised all the prices recently and removed many favorite items. They got rid of the soda (understandable was a few for all), but now the iced tea is gone they also removed. They also have sides but if you don't buy them with an item you can't get it. The service generally is also slower. Thank goodness the onion rings are the same. read more

Perhaps worst chicken nachos in Las Vegas. Dined 11/4/23, the chicken tasted canned. The imitation tasting artificial yellow colored liquid "cheese" was poured on everything. This goop was unappealing visually and it tasted terrible. Most of the tortilla chips were broken small pieces, thinking we got the bottom of the bag dump. We ate 1/2 and discarded the rest into the trash can. My veggie burger was OK. It was firm, not mushy, and had a good char. The French fries, while they were hot and plentiful, tasted awful. Either the oil was old, or the fries were double dunked or they were past shelf date or they were breaded in plastic juice. The taste wasn't enjoyable and they too ended up in the trash can. 2/5 dining experience, we won't return. Too many other restaurants in this resort to dine here again. If it was a service glitch, that happens, but when food quality is so institutional tasting, no interest in a revisit. read more

I have had a good experience here every time I've stopped by until recently. I was waiting for my food and I saw the deli worker hand out food to the wrong customer, and after the customer opened the food and looked through it, the cook came out and said "that's not your food" and took it back. Then they put the food back on the shelf and gave it out to the correct customer. This is a health code violation and they should know better. I paid a pretty good amount of money for their Chicken Teriyaki bowl that should be worth way less than half what it is priced, IF The rice crunches like plastic pieces, Chicken's texture resembles a sponge and chocky, and the broccoli tastes and smells like it was washed, but not rinsed with the dishes cleaning solution water. Vig Deli - Chicken Teriyaki Bowl, $15.99 - Delis Near Me - Henderson, Nevada

Unfortunately, my experience at Vig Deli was not a pleasant one. I had an order to go and when my order was ready, it was on a tray. I informed the lady that it was supposed to be a take out order and she then gave me an "attitude". I felt as if I was being scolded when it was not my fault. She says to me that the next time I should notify the cashier as she will box my order to go this time, but the next time she will not. The M resort tries to portray its image as a 4 star resort. If that is the rating they want, they need to go up and beyond to try and give their guests the best experience they can. Boxing my "to-go" order was not a big deal and I didn't deserve the type of service I was given. Shame on the M for having a dining establishment that has mediocre food with below standard service. read more

We had just gotten massages and were looking for a quick bite. Due to it being a Friday, the cafe was closing at 11am and it was 10:53. We went asked since it was the holiday and they said they would have seated us but they had no tables. We said no worries and asked if there was another place to get breakfast and they pointed us in the direction of the deli. The deli didn't open until 11am, but we waited and were the first customers served. (They get busy once they open! There was a line) I chose to order the Bacon, Eggs and Potatoes Breakfast and my boyfriend had the Ham & Egg Burrito. Once you place your order you are given a number and then wait for it to be called. We waited about 10 minutes and then our order was ready. I couldn't believe the amount of food I got for $9.99!! The potatoes were super good, the toast was yummy and the eggs were cooked to my liking. The bacon was ULTRA crispy but luckily that is the way my boyfriend prefers it so he ate it. He said his burrito was perfect and just the size he needed. They were able to easily accommodate his request of no cheese. Honestly as a local I had never been to this deli, but I'm glad we went. I'd like to try their sandwiches for lunch one day! Something tells me they'd be pretty good! read more
