Wanted something close by and it was getting late. Opted for the M Resort and decided to try Marinella's with my 2 friends. We were sat right away. Pretty busy on a Friday evening but service was fast. Our server was nice but had to ask the food runner to bring us the cocktail/wine list because our server never brought it even after asking twice. I order an espresso martini. Not bad but was a little watered down and hardly any foam on top like a usual espresso martini when I go other places. I got the eggplant parmesan. Good size portion of spaghetti on the side and eggplant. Was nicely seasoned and tasted good. Easily could split this dish with someone. They did bring warm ciabatta rolls and butter in the beginning. My other friends got the bolognese which he only ate part of because there was so much meat in the dish. More meat than pasta. He also had a glass of wine. My other friend had spaghetti and meatball with an old fashion. Not many options if you do not eat meat or seafood. Almost every pasta dish had meat or seafood so as someone that doesn't eat those I was limited to salad, spaghetti without the meatball or eggplant Parmesan. Overall the atmosphere was nice. Someone was playing the piano when we first got there. The drinks and food were decent. Service was good. Nothing that screamed exceptional. Nice choice if you want Italian and are staying at the M but Vegas does have many other Italian options. read more

My first experience at Marinelli's and they did not disappoint. I was greeted with a friendly smile and seated immediately. The dining area was moderately elegant and had very warm atmosphere. The waitress was very attentive; bread, butter and drinks were served promptly. I arrived at their Happy Hour (4 - 5 PM). Happy Hour menu is limited but it's a BOGO, very nice items available. The meal portions are rather large. I ordered the European Sea bass and Limoncello Cheesecake for desert. Everything I ate was superb. Casual Italian restaurant located just off the casino floor. They have a nice happy hour featuring buy 1 get 1 apps but it's only from 4pm-5pm so get there early. Service was great at the bar! The food was hit or miss. Meatballs 5/5 Deliciously tender, topped with burrata espuma (tasted like ricotta) and nestled in a nice red sauce. Spicy shrimp scampi 2/5 The sauce was good, but needed more "spicy" and the shrimp tasted like they were boiled in water then thrown into the sauce. I really wanted to love this restaurant at the M. Gave them a breakfast and a dinner try and had a much better dinner experience than breakfast. Both times were bar seating experiences, and the Bartenders themselves were excellent both times. They work very hard and very fast and are commendable. Saturday morning breakfast with Husband was sadly frustrating. He ordered the Breakfast Burrito, while I got the Avocado Toast with a Poached Egg. Coffee for him (he liked it) and I just got hot water cause I brought my own tea. And ice water for us both. Drinks came out fast. Food was taking awhile, but finally his Burrito came out along with my little poached egg (that was meant to go on the Avocado Toast). No big deal, until it took FOREVER to finally get that Avocado Toast, and that was AFTER the other folks around us who had come much later were served. Of course my egg was good and cold by then, and it was hard-boiled rather than poached anyway. Avocado "toast" was like french bread. I thought for sure we would have at least gotten a discount for my meal, but no. Fast forward to that night. Just me. Back to the bar because I really wanted pasta, and really wanted a decent glass of red wine. Got a Chianti I liked. Some delicious Foccacia, and a good plate of Bolognese. Service was very good. While staying at M for a three-night staycation, Diane and I had dinner here. Our reservation was honored, and we were immediately seated. We opened with a Frito Misto appetizer that contained outstanding shrimp. Pasta E Fagioli, the soup of the day, and a Caesar Salad with a Creamy Caesar Salad were both very good. But tubular Roasted Potatoes were hard and undercooked. Yet my entree of classic Fettuccini Alfredo with bits of cheese clinging to the pasta was outstanding, along with rustic rolls slathered with butter. We live in Henderson so we come to the M resort often. This was our first time eating here as we tried to get into the tavern but the wait was too long and these guys had plenty of open seating. In celebration of our 19th wedding anniversary, we chose to dine at Martinelli's while staying at the M Resort and Spa. We were greeted with exceptional service and professionalism. We were seated immediately, given a menu and a drink menu, and presented with the freshest, warm bread we have ever had. The ambiance was romantic and fun. We both decided to order the Fettuccine Alfredo, adding chicken and broccolini. It was incredibly tasty, creamy, and flavorful. At the end, our waiter presented us with a Happy Anniversary Cupcake. We used to come here a lot before the pandemic...they have changed their menu and have added a happy hour of buy one appetizer get one free. We were intrigued, so we popped over to check it out. This HH is 4-5 pm, so pretty early. We got there as close to 5 pm as possible. We sat at the bar and you could hear some nice music to help the ambience. The bartender was really good. He explained the menu items and helped us with redeeming some comps for it had been awhile and the system has changed. We ordered two glasses of red wine...these were not on happy hour. We ordered two meatball plates, arancini, and bacon wrapped dates. He also gave us some bread and butter to munch on before the food arrived. It was pretty decent. All the food came out and it was OK...the sauce on the meatballs was very good and the meatballs were acceptable. The arancini was also good...they were big and flavorful. The dates were chewy, had the right ingredients...but were just so so....i remember the food being much better here...so it was disappointing that it fell short of our expectations. Too many great Italian restaurants in town that this has to compete with...not sure how they are still able to exist...likely due to trapped guests with limited restaurants. I've read the reviews and I'm surprised their rating isn't higher since we had an amazing dining experience. It's been a while since we've been here. We're usually at Anthony's next door since it's one of our regular (favorite) restaurants but decided on Marinelli's this time, We made reservations for a Thursday evening. The place is decorated beautifully and has nice views. it's elegant and subtly decorated for the holidays. When we arrived, I was looking at the electronic menu at the entrance when the friendly hostess walked towards us asking if we wanted to look at a menu that she was holding or asked if we had any questions. She was genuinely nice in her approach. We told her we had reservations and she brought us to our table. The busser was also super friendly and very attentive. We had nice conversations with her when she refilled our water or cleared the table. She had been working at the pool and has been there for a few months. Our server, I believe his name is Jay (I forgot) was the best. Wonderful customer service-he answered our questions, made suggestions, and was so pleasant. We started with sharing the Burrata Caprese and we really enjoyed it. We each ordered a glass of their house Pinot Noir which was good. I went with the Salmon Oreganata and loved it. It has a lemon caper sauce which goes perfectly with the salmon and the seasoned breadcrumbs. The asparagus and roasted potatoes were great. I would definitely order this dish again. We ate here four times during our week-long stay and it was probably the best decision we made. 3 egg breakfast comes with choice of meat, breakfast potatoes and toast. We were at M Resort & Casino, and I realized I had food credit on my Penn app. I checked on Yelp to see where we should eat for dinner. Marinelli's had a 3 star rating! The restaurant looked really nice & inviting from the outside so we had to check it out ourselves. Glad we did! We were seated immediately! Pedro was our server and he did an excellent job! Very friendly and attentive! We ordered the Caesar salad. It was delicious & big enough for 3 of us to share. I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan. There were 3 pieces of eggplant along with pasta on the side. So yummy! Hubby ordered the Chicken Parmesan. He said it was one of the best he's ever eaten. Our daughter ordered the Pappardelle. Marinelli's Italian restaurant, what a nice surprise, conveniently located next to Anthony's steakhouse in the M resort and casino!! We loved the open air feeling of this restaurant and the glass walls which allowed for a beautiful ambience and view of the outside pool and wraparound deck. Charity was our server and there was a young man with a gorgeous head of hair who was her helper, he was always on the ready and kept all of our waters nice and full. We ordered the fried calamari and the beet carpaccio salad as appetizers to share and for the entrée, the three amigas/neighbors ordered the Bronzino fish as our main course. The carpaccio beet salad was simple yet amazing and so delicious! I would go and order that again in a heartbeat. The calamari was also delicious but the older I get the less I enjoy fried foods, in other words, I enjoy fried foods, my body does not! The main entrée was very good, but interestingly, we were all expecting a more thick, meaty and juicy fish vs the thin filet we received. Next time, I will better read the description and ask more questions. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely go back, especially to order the beet carpaccio salad or try out their breakfast menu. read more

Yelp says this is a 3.1 star place. Yelp is dead on. Marinelli's Authentic Italian Cuisine is a multipurpose restaurant at the M Resort in Henderson. Not only do they have Italian food for their dinner service (Tues-Sat), but the massive windows overlooking the pool make it a good spot for breakfast, which they offer daily. As with the other restaurants at M Resort, they accept dining credit which is offered to casino cardholders with some regularity. The first time I visited was for a takeout order. The bartender is tasked to take takeout orders, which would be asinine even if he were busy with actual customers. He was seemingly doing non-customer-facing activities and made me wait at least ten minutes before he took my order. The Lasagna ($23.00) which I ordered was highly deficient in cheese and sauce. They think that having so many layers of pasta is impressive, but it just means that there's less room for the good stuff. I would rather have the Costco brand from the freezer aisle. My second visit was this morning to try some breakfast. The American Breakfast ($14.00) and Country-Fried Steak and Eggs ($17.00) were equally unimpressive. The sunny side up eggs were fine, but the scrambled eggs were oddly served in one large, dry piece instead of in an array of little curds. The country-fried steak was a poor cut that was still only minimally edible because of the stringy ligaments; it should be fork-tender, but I still had to use my knife. Also, the breading was barely present and the gravy lacked in seasoning. The bacon and toast were fine. The best item on both plates was actually the home fries, which were nicely crispy on the outside. Beverage service was nice, at least. The Coffee ($4.00) was refilled sufficiently and our server offered a to-go cup, which we accepted. The complimentary water came in large tumblers. Marinelli's is a frontrunner for least capable restaurant at M Resort. Don't go unless you have dining credit at M Resort and have no other options, or unless a good view is your highest priority and it's daytime. read more

The restaurant overlooks the pool and has a partial strip view at night. The prices were reasonable for Las Vegas. We started with the calamari which was delicious. For my meal I had the chicken Parmesan and my spouse had the gnocchi. Tip: if you are allergic to Fontina cheese many of the dishes contain it. I was staying at the M Resort in Henderson on a recent trip to Las Vegas, so it was easy for me to go downstairs and have breakfast at Marinelli's one of the days I was there. I ordered the breakfast burrito (chorizo, egg, and cheese), which came with potatoes, and a cinnamon roll. I also ended up trying the sausage links that someone else in my group ordered. The food was amazing. The chorizo had good heat and flavor and the burrito had and plenty of cheese and egg in it too. The potatoes were like eating Arby's fries in cube form, which I enjoyed. The cinnamon roll was like a warm, flaky croissant and I loved it. Finally, the sausage links were plump with good quality meat instead of junky filler. I'm sad that I was only able to fit in eating at Marinelli's once, but will gladly do so again next time I'm in Vegas. read more

Of the many dishes we ordered, the only one I remember being better than average was the calamari. One thing that stood out was that the tables in the restaurant surround a glass elevator. So while we were eating we could see people riding the elevator up dressed in their bathing attire which were sometimes ill fitting. It was weird seeing half dressed people getting off of the elevator in the middle of the dining area; it was very distracting. Dinner: Cioppino seafood stew (2), Shrimp papardelle Alfredo, Eggplant parmesan in pomodoro sauce. The Cioppino was very delicious and my favorite dish among all our orders. The eggplant parmesan is also a winner in my book. I was not impressed with the papardelle Alfredo as it was lacking flavor and the noodles were soggy and overcooked. She asked for our drinks and they came out right away. Thought this would be a great breakfast with my Wife and Daughter. Waitress helps another table with a party that showed up after us. Takes their drink and food order straight away. I make eye contact with her, but she still helps others. After waiting for some time, I finally throw up my hands. She must've seen my frustration, because she literally flew to our table and took our food order. By then, I shut down completely and had no interest in engaging with this waitress. I gave her my order, using as few words as possible. Our food was prepped and brought out by the runner in great time. He even apologized for the wait! She came by a couple times and asked if we needed anything. Again, if I didn't say anything, it was a one word answer. But, I mostly shook or nodded my head. Even with the food being delicious, I couldn't wait to get out of there. I won't share her name, but I'm sure she'll know it was her when this review is shared with the morning staff. I'll never come back again - and I know I'm just a regular guest, but my money folds the same and has the same value as a more important person. Young lady, this is the profession you chose. Maybe it's just me, but it felt different staying at the hotel. We could leasurely walking around check out the different restaurant's and menus. Marinelli's had a lovely menu and being from Hawai'i, casual dress attire. We did make reservations, but there was plentiful seating and surprisingly counter seating at the bar. They also have a good wine menu to choose from. I ordered the Osso Buco and my wife the steak. The Osso Buco and risotto was done perfectly, that marrow.. Love.. Beyond disappointing... Don't waste your time or money on this place. Although it appears to be a fine dining establishment, it is far from that. The service was not stellar, but not bad until I had to send my food back. The cioppino was disgusting. The seafood was not fresh and the dish was inedible, not to mention it was not cioppino... The server It was not attentive, but when he did come back, I told him I could not eat the food. He took it back and a chef came out and asked why I sent my dish back. I told him it was not good and he took his apron off, and storms back to the kitchen with no other questions or comments. From that point forward the service was terrible and negligent. The server's assistant that tried to clear the table dropped the plates that crashed everywhere beside me. Our server came to pick up the signed receipts while we were still sitting there, and we never saw him again. This is a management issue... There are far too many great places to dine in Las Vegas. Each table had different lighting, some tables had spot lights, some had no lights and ours had a strange red light (reference pics). All tables are near the sports bar, so it was loud. Our server was nonexistent. He came by once and never tended to us at all. The food was 2/10. We got the burrata salad and they cut the tomato and cheese in four pieces. Isn't this place supposed to be upscale? It looks like a butcher made it Osso buco was stupid bland and the risoto was basically warm potato salad. They also offer patio outdoor seating or counter top bar seating. We sat on the high top tables facing the big window. Breakfast was good and plentiful. When the appetizer came out, the arancini was cold on the inside. We notified the waiter he took it back and offered something else. We just said we'd wait for our dinner I ordered the chopped salad and my guest ordered branzino w a side of pasta. The pasta came out cold to the touch. My salad was a joke. So basic, looked unappetizing. We thought we were being punked. The poor waiter was so embarrassed when we told him and took the food back. By that time we were done! We went to this restaurant for my husband's 40th birthday and decided to try something new as we have never been there. I got the chicken piccata and had high hopes on it, however, the chicken was very bland and unseasoned. I was not able to taste the lemon butter caper sauce as it needed a lot more. The noodles that came with it had a tomato sauce on it which I thought was very strange and it was only lukewarm warm. My sister had the fettuccine Alfredo and she said it was good and my aunt had the lasagna and she enjoyed it as well, but it was all lukewarm warm too. After a number if meh experiences for dinner here, I think they may now have it together! My salmon was almost perfect, it just needed more capers & sauce. Ask and you may receive! In this case, I did! The chopped salad is great, and everyone in my party had one! There are a few dishes that seem to please everyone, and the spaghetti & meatballs is included in that list! Took my wife here the weekend before Valentine's Day. For the occasion, it did well! The service was fantastic, the views and atmosphere was great! I loved the fact they had a live pianist there, he was great as well. For the price, I expected the food to be better, hence the 3 stars.
