Went to see the pool party show with Ice Cube but needed to eat first and MARINELLI'S didn't disappoint! Excellent service, very nice and helpful. The spaghetti dinners are delicious and the side of Asparagus had the right crunchiness. The price was excellent not expensive. Will be back for more of this fantastic menu. read more

Came here last week on a trip to Vegas and made reservations to eat here at Marinelli's. It is located in the M hotel off the strip. As you walk into the hotel it's located right smack dab in the middle of the hotel main floor. It has a really cool atmosphere and wide open concept. Once seated we were greeted by our super friendly waiter and decided on a bottle of wine to share with the table. After a few mins everyone had decided it was time to order. To start we had the calamari and Cesar salads. The Cesar salads were very tasty but the calamari was 100% disappointing. It was chewy and gummy and left almost all of it. For entrees I had the branzino, my wife had the eggplant parmigiana, my daughter had the rigatoni bolognese and my SIL had the 4 cheese ravioli. Now everyone loved their dishes but I felt like while the fish was cooked perfect lacked some seasoning and flare but still overall a good dish. No desert everyone was too full but overall great experience and would highly recommend to get off the strip and find something new. read more

Where to start ok well first off i wanted to order the prosciutto wrapped Dates they did not have any , then i asked about the Branzino & again they didnt have any, disappointing. We then ordered Arincini/Rice Balls came out very luke warm with no serving spoon they were very Bland. After ordering Arincini we then ordered our main courses, cioppino over linguini & Tenderloin Risotto with Portobello Mushrooms, after waiting 48 minutes the Dishes were brought to somebody else's table but not only wrong table one dish was wrong also and not only delivered after 48 minutes the people that got our food sat down after us and received their correct orders before us. The restaurant then made our dishes so we had to wait even longer we end up getting our dishes my Tenderloin Risotto with Portobello Mushrooms looked horrible & tasted worse it was more like Mush with crumbles of beef jerky & canned mushrooms not Portobello. I told our waiter to take it away , it was terrible. It was like a rice-a-roni package. So after waiting over an hour for our screwed up dishes I was only offered to look at the menu & order something different if I wanted something else but by then I was so irritated I just said No don't want to wait again so shared my girlfriends Cioppino with her which was on the Salty said but not extremely bad. Came here for the first time with friends who recommended this restaurant in the M Resort hotel. Parking was easy and we arrived as the restaurant opened for dinner at 5 on a Saturday. We were seated quickly and noticed a pleasant ambiance and modern decor. Restrooms were clean, too. My wife and I ordered the Marinelli's field greens salad, the salmon, and veal marsala. The food came in about 15 minutes and the wait staff were courteous and professional. We thought of sharing the salad, but the waiter said it was supposed to be shareable, but not in reality. The salad was indeed small as you can see on the photo with fork for scale. My salmon came and it was overcooked which has not happened to me before. The edges of the salmon were tough and couldn't be sliced with a fork. I didn't send it back, but ate the edible parts and left the rest. I couldn't see waiting another 15 minutes for a new piece of fish. After all, I avoid restaurants who can't get it right the first time. The veal marsala was okay except we ordered chicken marsala. Ooops! That took another 10 minutes to deliver us the new and correct entrée. The waiter apologized saying that the kitchen staff were rushing and left the salmon on the stove too long and misread the marsala order. Until we temporarily moved away from Henderson for seven years, the M Resort was one of our favorite destinations, one reason being Marinelli's. In looking at other reviews on Yelp, I saw some people were upset with the portion size of their order. In many sit-down Italian restaurants, you are expected to order at least a two-course meal. Thus, portion sizes are normally smaller. You can always split a course, but if you are ordering just one course and expecting a large meal, chances are you will be disappointed. My wife had the crab cake starter and butternut squash ravioli as her main course. The two crab cakes were good. We prefer when they aren't deep-fried like they were at Marinelli's. But they were tasty with a nice sauce. Cyndi has probably eaten more butternut squash ravioli than the majority of pasta lovers. She thought Marinelli's version was outstanding! She would order it again. My first course was the lasagna. It was quite flavorful, somewhat different than many other lasagnas you see at restaurants. I would get it again. The salmon was a nice-sized piece. The broccolini was okay, I couldn't cut it with a fork, which is no big deal, but I'm not a huge fan of this vegetable. Went here for a date night on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy. I got the alfredo which was a little bland compared to other places. My husband got the cavatelli amatriciana which was actually very good, had a nice kick to it! I thought the bread was also very good. Great atmosphere, nice service, and right across from an ice cream shop! I would check this place out again but would get something with a bit more flavor. Dim lighting and we sat next to a window with a view of the pool. It was nice but I don't think I would spend almost $20 on the alfredo here. Another restaurant I'm trying because I'm charging my car in the parking lot. Plugged in and walked into the lobby of the "M". Marinelli's was still open for breakfast. Not very busy, service a little slow. Took awhile to get my first cup of coffee...thought an Italian place would have great coffee...not here. The restaurant's interior is casual and sophisticated, featuring nice seating, warm lighting, and a nice view of the surrounding mountains and the beautiful pool area. I went there for breakfast and had the waffles and it was very good, my family also ordered the French toast and a breakfasts burrito which they said were really good as well. I only wish they had a vegan option for a savory dish, like a vegan burrito. Adding this to their menu would really be great for those of us that don't eat meat or eggs. Hours: 5pm - 10pm expect long lines and no reservations. This was our favorite restaurant on site. They share tables with Anthony's steak next door so I assume the kitchen uses the same ingredients. The difference between here and steakhouse is your paying a discount for that same piece of Filet mignon. My favorite dish was: Broccoli with garlic $5 Linguini Alla olio $5 Yes it was the side order of pasta. The amount of garlic olive oil made my tummy happy. The expensive dish's were ok and fairly priced: Shrimp fra diavolo $24 Filetto (2 small pieces) $22 Veal (good portion but average taste) Sometimes simple things make me happy. My three month old was actively nursing in my arms during dinner. After replacing my undercooked meat the server apologized and still brought me the full bill. Grabbed dinner with a friend who decided on this restaurant. We started off with a bread basket which was ok overall. The ambiance was calm, as it's like an open indoor seating area. I'm not the biggest fan of that as there's not enough privacy away from the casino. The service was great, I had no issues with the server. He listened to allergy accommodations, answered menu questions and gave suggestions. I forgot his name, but he was also attentive and refilled our waters as well. We didn't feel rushed nor did we have to flag him down for service. I decided to order the branzino. Overall, I give it a 3.5 out of 5. I feel like it was missing flavor. Very bland, in my opinion. The lemon, and capers were about the only flavors I tasted on there. It was cooked properly, and filling as it had 2 pieces of fish. Also, it came with fingerling potatoes which were really good. One of our go to Pasta restaurants in Henderson. Located inside of the M Casino next to Anthony Prime Steak and Seafood close to the valet and front desk. For easiest access you could park at the side parking lot off of Las Vegas Blvd. If you go in those doors and up the escalator it will take you right to the restaurant entrance. Seating is spacious with a fully open kitchen and casino view. We started our night out with a nice bottle of Riesling to go with our Steamed Clams. The steamed clams was my hubby favorite. The clam broth that it came with was so perfectly seasoned and delicious that it went perfectly with the bread or even by itself. He definitely finished that up quick. I ordered the Bronzino with a side of rigatoni. I loved that the bronzino skin was perfectly seasoned and cooked. It was served crispy skin side up the way it's supposed to be on a bed of broccolini with a grilled lemon half to finish it off with. The side of rigatoni was a good portion. Meat sauce was flavorful. Hubby ordered the lasagna which was super cheesy and delicious the way he likes it. If you want to see a good cheese pull order the lasagna. I've been coming to Marinelli's Pasta for years. I am so glad that it is still here. The food quality and service is excellent. I have been to Marinelli's on numerous occasions they just got a new menu. We were able to have osso bucco the last two times we were there. Those two times were exceptional. Unfortunately the third time we came, which was this past Saturday three of us ordered osso bucco it was tough and undercooked we could not eat it. All three of us sent it back as it was inedible. My sister opted to order nothing I ordered the seafood risotto and my husband ordered the fillet soltamboca the seafood risotto was OK, but under seasoned the soltamboca was over cooked The manager did nothing for us to make anything right pricing meal for mediocre food. We will see what happens next time. Hopefully it will be better. If not, we'll go somewhere else. read more

The hub and I decided to use our dining credits at this restaurant as the menu looked promising. It was anything but! Had we looked up the reviews beforehand, we would've avoided this eatery like the plague. For all of the years I've dined out in the states and abroad, this place is at the top of being one of the worst! Started off with complimentary ciabatta bread. It was so rock hard inside and out it was ridiculous! There was no way I was even going to attempt to bite into it. I was finally able to break a piece off to dip into the nasty olive oil and balsamic vinegar that's available to use on the table. It was either low quality, very old, or on the verge of turning rancid, cause it didn't taste right at all. Ended up just putting it all on the side as it was inedible. We ordered the Burrata Caprese for an appetizer. Why would you serve burrata cheese hacked up into pieces is beyond me!? If you know, you know. No rich creamy goodness in the center of the burrata to be had anywhere on the plate; just chunks of the outer shell. For entree's we ordered the chicken piccata with extra capers, gnocchi, and a side dish of the saffron risotto. Where do I even begin! No lemon butter sauce anywhere on the chicken piccata or plate. Two very bland, unseasoned, overly cooked, lightly breaded chicken cutlets is what was served. Along with dehydrated, crunchy capers that were black. I've never seen the likes of capers as this before. It literally looked like peppercorns with none of the tartness that capers have. The penne alla olio that accompanies this dish must surely translate to the cooks as penne rubber-ria bland-o cause that's exactly what I got. No garlic, no olive oil, no parm cheese incorporated within. Just old pasta sitting in a pot of water, drained and straight to the plate. Asked a runner if I could get a side of lemon butter sauce. He returns with a bowl of what looked like white cream mixed with lemon juice, along with more of the black, crunchy capers. The side dish of saffron risotto had so much chicken broth in it making it very salty and nearly inedible. There was little to no cream in the risotto either. The hub's gnocchi was drowning in soupy tomato sauce. Half of the bowl was literally filled with sauce where you couldn't even see the gnocchi or Italian sausage in the dish. For beverages we ordered a bottled beer and unsweetened ice tea. Mind boggling to me how you can mess up ice tea. It was so watered down and flavorless it wasn't even funny! We took a hard pass on desserts after being served an epic disaster of dishes. Had it not been for the dining credits we utilized that covered our bill, every single item would've been returned and we would've left. The "ONLY" positive I can give concerning this restaurant are the views. That's if you're lucky enough to be seated by a window and are just planning to stare out of it and not eat anything. Our waiter was courteous enough but he did take awhile to bring us the bill. We decided to leave and check out the other casino down the street. As soon as we got there the hub bum rushed it to the bathroom and was in there for a while. Massive explosion is what he described as what took place in that stall. I was praying to sweet baby Jesus that I would be spared. Unfortunately not the case. The only saving grace for me was that I was lucky enough to have made it home (40 minutes away) before I too suffered massive explosions of my own. Several bites from each dish is all it took for this outcome. I don't even want to imagine how bad it could've been for me had I eaten all of it. It's one thing to get served horrible food, it's entirely another when it makes you sick on top of it. It's no surprise after seeing that this restaurant is only rated 3 stars. Mind blowing that it hasn't been closed down yet. Management should take heed and make the much needed changes asap! Avoid at all cost or risk the same outcome as we and many others did.
