Went to Eureka for the first time for Happy Hour the other day We ordered the chicken wings, roasted brussel sprouts and I had an old fashioned cocktail. My husband ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with cheese and carmelized onion. Everything tasted good. The prices are reasonable for Happy Hour. Most everything was under $10 each. It's got a big bar. My only complaint is the were blasting the soccer game through the whole restaurant. It was so loud even the server had to keep repeating our order because even she couldn't hear us. We couldn't have a decent conversation. Haven't been here probably since they opened years ago. So glad we decided to come in here when we were downtown for a magic show haha. I definitely got hungry and wanted to grab something to eat so we made our way here. This location is on Fremont Street and right by Fremont Street Experience, and boy, what an experience it is haha. I mean that in the terms of we sat on the patio and people watched for a couple hours. Sooo wild haha. We put our name in on waitlist and they texted us when our table was ready which was really nice. I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps. They were okay but definitely not my favorite. I also got the mac and cheese balls and those were FANTASTIC. I'd go back for those alone. To eat, I also got a grilled cheese and tomato soup and that was so delicious. The tomato soup was so creamy and yummy. I ate that entire thing in seconds haha. Our server was sooo nice. His name was Draven (I believe). She quickly took our drink and food order and when I shared I needed to catch a plane she got my order out even quicker. The shrimp tacos were good, corn tortilla a bit dry. I also got the wild child and it was smooth and not too sweet. I also tried the ginger drink and I wish it had more ginger than mint. We had truffle fries with their sauce and it was heavily mayo with minimal seasoning in the sauce. I wish there was a bit more truffle on the fries themselves as well. Sweet + savory combo items are my fav as it showcases the art of complimentary flavors. I could've done without the spicy mustard and less cheese would've been nice. Overall, a pretty decent burger. I attempted to try one of their signature lemonades but it was too tangy so I just stuck with water. Service was pretty good as there was no long wait time but then again it wasn't too busy. This place is so fun! Just a short walk near Fremont Street. The vibe is modern and cool. The service was exceptional with a lot of variety on the menu. I had the bison burger which was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Hubby had the all American burger I think it was and it was equally delicious. The cocktails were next level too and they don't skimp on them- the maple bacon old fashioned (I think it had a clever name that I can't remember) was a very generous size and my campire/s'mores old fashioned came in a little bottle that they trapped the smoke but was easily two drink's worth. You definitely get your money's worth on the drinks AND they were delicious. The rum drink was sooooo good too. Overall, just a cool vibe, amazing service, and great food.
