The best hamburger I've had in Vegas. Fun atmosphere and friendly service. Fun drink choices.

Burger!

Bouncing around the Arts District, you get hungry whatever you do? You go to a spot you know is gonna rock! We walked in and were graciously greeted immediately, asked to sit at the bar, "Absolutely!" Was the reply. Charity welcomed us and took great care of us! Poke bowl and Burgers are Always on point! The open air casual vibe and great service are just what we needed today thanks!

Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup

Had dinner here for the first time. The service wasn't particularly attentive, and the hostess who seated us seemed annoyed that we came an hour before closing. The food we ordered was ok, but nothing stood out. We ordered chicken nachos and grilled cheese with tomato soup. Probably wouldn't order again. Eureka has a relaxed atmosphere that would be good for drinks or catching a game. Would I come back for the food? Probably not.

Shrimp tacos

Came for lunch with coworkers and the server clearly understood the assignment. She quickly took our drink and food order and when I shared I needed to catch a plane she got my order out even quicker. The shrimp tacos were good, corn tortilla a bit dry. I also got the wild child and it was smooth and not too sweet. I also tried the ginger drink and I wish it had more ginger than mint. We had truffle fries with their sauce and it was heavily mayo with minimal seasoning in the sauce. I wish there was a bit more truffle on the fries themselves as well. This place screams bar, so the vibe was bar which was fine, just a nice place to get a casual bite to eat. Oh and the turtle pie was incredible - sweet and rich so I wasn't able to finish it, but I did enjoy it.

The burger was the Bomb! The meat was cooked to order and it was tender and tasted terrific! The onion rings were a nice surprise. The service was quick with the amount of people in the restaurant. The restaurant was inviting and clean. You could sit in the patio and people watch while waiting for your good.

Service and food were good. I prefer a little less sauce on my food and my lettuce wraps were flooded with it. Nonetheless they were tasty and fulfilling even though they are on the appetizer menu. Husband had the bone marrow burger and it was great.

First night in Vegas and this place hits the spot! Got the bone marrow burger and it was delicious. Let the chef cook it his way and you'll be satisfied and then some. Got the beer battered onion rings and it was great too. $10 Buffalo Trace Old Fashioned that was one of the best I've ever had. Cool place with awesome service and great vibes all around....

It took me a bit before I went in here but I wish I had went sooner living so close. It's like a little hidden gem. I've deff ate here a few times all of the menu item I tried have been really good. It's deff my new favourite burger spot they are sooo good and juicy double stacked. I will deff be back every other Wendsday service has also been great every time :) it's also very cute and dim lit inside very relaxing environment.

We thought this place was new, but they've been there for years. A remodel created an inviting atmosphere. The servers were attentive without hovering, it seemed they shared responsibilities with the goal of great customer service. We very much enjoyed the food and will be back. They have specials during the week, such as an inexpensive burger one day, drinks another.

Seared Salmon

Was downtown for an event and walked by so we decided to go in. We were seated quickly and the staff was friendly! I ordered the blackened salmon and wow!!! It was perfectly cooked and had the just amount of spice . It was flaky and full of flavor! It was served with fingerling potatoes and charred green beans. My fiancé ordered the Eureka American burger and they cooked it just right. Loved that it had a great serving of cheese and fries. Will definitely be back.

Firecracker Wings

Just off of Fremont Street Experience - Awesome food - Wings were AMAZING- Got the mild-medium Firecracker - GREAT - My wife had the Napa Chicken sandwich with the shredded fingerling potatoes - Also very good - Great menu selections - Burgers and Sammy's - And a decent Happy Hour until 6 pm - A must try if going to Fremont Street !!!

Grilled chicken sandwich with elote

Food was delicious. Service was good. The nachos were yummy. The grilled cheese with the tomato bisque soup was on point. The elote was superb. The carrot cake is a must try. Enjoy!

Back for another business outing during happy hour and we were well pleased with the ambiance and service at our large table along the wall. Many appetizers are delicious and recommended including Fried pickles, Mac n Cheese balls, Nachos (with a good chipotle flavor), and Crispy Glazed Brussels Sprouts. The Eureka American cheeseburger was satisfying with the Honey-Cinnamon Sweet Potato Fries being so tasty that you will want to scrap the every bit of sweetness from the bottom!

Is there any entree that is gluten free here? Does this restaurant use a shared fryer for things like fried calamari that would cross contaminate gluten free french fries? I have Celiac disease and have to eat gluten free.

Is it not kid friendly all day?

I would avoid taking kids here, the old strip in general simply is not kid friendly

Yes there is

What are the prices like? Curious because the menu doesn't list.

I would say appetizers are in the 8-12 dollar range and entrees are in the 12-22 range depending on what you get. I found it to be pretty reasonable for quality, service and atmosphere.

The waitstaff were dressed very casual, jeans and t-shirt casual. Although the food is upscale, everything else about this place seems very casual diner like. We could even see most of the work going on in the small kitchen. Mostly shareable plates... Our table chose the deviled eggs with caviar - these were a hit! Dynamite shrimp, most at the table liked these, they were spicy and the flavor was decent, but I just felt like the sauce made the breading a bit soggy and it wasn't a favorite of mine. Pork Belly - This had a buffalo sauce on it, which I wasn't too excited about at first, but it worked better than I expected. Wish it was just a little crispier but it was tender and I enjoyed it. Oxtail risotto - this one had mixed reviews from the table, I really enjoyed it. The flavor was good. There's only a small amount of meat and it's shredded into the risotto. Overall the consistency was a little weird, very thick and almost sticky/dry, plus the dark color. They had a steak on the menu and the flavor was great, one of the pricier menu items but it was a good share. My wife ordered a burger without the bun. She said the patty was well over-cooked and so it was pretty dry. They don't offer gluten-free buns or bread - bummer. The service was generally prompt, but seemed uncoordinated at times. For example, it seemed our waitress was also handling a very large party outside on the patio, and randomly the hostess would bring us a drink refill (hostess stand was right beside our table). That's good in a way, they are all a team, but she also picked up my plate and silverware after only the first appetizer - mind you they bring everything out as it's ready, so don't expect the whole table to eat together, you are expected to share! When I asked if she could replace my silverware, she grabbed a fork and knife and handed to me, but they weren't rolled in a napkin or anything, just barehanded me some silverware... anyway, I thought that was odd. Overall, the food had some bright spots and perhaps worth a lunch if you are downtown. I probably wouldn't seek it out again, but I'm not mad about the meal we had either.

My husband is definitely more of a foodie and I'm happy to try new things but usually stick to what I know. We ended up doing the Chefs Tasting menu to try a little bit of everything and wow! The staff was kind but our waitress was 10/10 on her own! Super attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, our water glasses were always full and she was incredibly kind. The overall vibe of the place was intimate with the darker lighting, music was on but not blaring and even with the tables a little closer together I felt like you were still able to have privacy. The oysters were amazing! One was chilled and one was cooked. My favorite was the chilled and my husbands favorite was the cooked. I had never had oysters before and am now a huge fan! We added the Foie Gras to our menu and were blown away by how good it was! First time trying it, all the rave about Foie Gras is true! The snapper tostada is another highlight for us! We felt none of the dishes were good - in fact all were just mediocre at best. We ordered the Isaan Sausage, Oxtail Hummus, Grilled Oysters, and the Spanish Octopus. We wanted to order more, but with each disappointing bite after another, we just decided not to order any more. The first three dishes came out all within 5-7 minutes...and then the octopus came out maybe 15 minutes after the last dish. Service was spotty...we were told they would bring fresh plates but we ate a course with no plates, the snack dish came out third, I left the credit card on the table for 10 minutes and no one came. The Issan Sausage snack was salty - initial flavors reminded me of Vietnamese flavors but just didn't work for our palette. The oyster dish was ok but again, very salty. The hummus was bland and the oxtail added no flavor or texture. They tried to add crunch with the chickpeas but they felt like bothersome flossing issues to be dealt with later. The naan was more like an under toasted pita bread and there was no flakiness. The octopus dish was ok but nothing to write home about. If you follow my reviews, I try to always give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt and I rarely give poor reviews. Unfortunately there just weren't too many positives in this dining experience. But as always, maybe the food just didn't suit our taste but will suit yours. We decided very quickly to head over to Palace Station for their pan roast.

Let me start with the positives, because there were plenty. The moment I walked in and saw the open outdoor space, I was immediately charmed. There's something really special about an open-air venue in Las Vegas -- it has a relaxed, laid-back energy that you don't always find on or near the Strip. The atmosphere was fun and lively, and it was clear that people were there to have a good time. The karaoke DJ was absolutely the highlight of the night. He was talented, enthusiastic, and incredibly warm and welcoming -- the kind of host who makes everyone feel like a star whether they can sing or not. I also loved the karaoke app, which notifies you when your turn is coming up. That's such a thoughtful touch and takes so much anxiety out of the experience. Karaoke kicked off at 10pm and the energy in the room was infectious once it got going. The drinks were good -- well-made and enjoyable -- though on the pricier side for what you'd expect at a casual karaoke vegas bar. Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing going in. Now for the constructive feedback, shared in the spirit of hoping this venue reaches its full potential: The table reservation situation was genuinely confusing and a bit stressful. I had made what I believed to be a table reservation ahead of time, but when we arrived, the host at the door informed us that table reservations aren't actually accepted. I showed her my reservation confirmation, and unfortunately she was dismissive about it rather than empathetic or helpful. For a group arriving excited for the night, that interaction set a frustrating tone. A little kindness and acknowledgment -- even just "I'm so sorry for the confusion, let me help you find a spot" -- would have gone a long way. Because we couldn't be seated at the tables until 10pm, we were left waiting at the bar, which was extremely crowded with other guests in the same situation. Getting a drink was a real challenge with so many people packed in waiting for seating to open up. It felt like a bit of a bottleneck that could easily be improved with clearer communication upfront about the table policy -- or better yet, actually offering reservations. We also weren't able to order food at the Front Yard, which was a surprise. We ended up heading over to the Village Pub to eat, which worked out fine, but it would be so much more convenient to be able to grab a bite without leaving the venue. Despite all of that, my friends and I left smiling. The DJ truly carried the night, and the outdoor space is something Ellis Island should be proud of. With a few operational tweaks -- clearer reservation policies, a friendlier front-of-house experience, and maybe some food options -- the Front Yard could easily be one of the best karaoke spots in Las Vegas. We'd come back and give it another shot! :)

So I ducked into Black Tap at the Venetian after seeing a Wagyu burger on the menu. Being a lifelong space cadet in both profession (in my 23rd year at NASA,) and mental inclination (no comment,) I'd totally forgotten that I had a hard-and-fast obligation I needed to get to, stat - after having already ordered the Wagyu burger - so I asked the stunning waitress if I could change it to a "to go" order. The staff did not miss a beat, and a done-deal without a single hiccup and I was outta there. I did not have time to eat it so I had no choice but to actually let it sit in the hotel room getting cold - *gasp* - until I could get back to it. Sacrilege, I know, but... no choice. But even eaten cold (thanks TI for no microwaves in the rooms - though microwaves tend to kill flavor so maybe a good thing anyway,) it was seriously tasty and... a tantalizing draw. So the very next day I went back with no obligation hanging over me, and had the exact same thing, this time nice and fresh and hot. And it was, in a word: Sublime. - Cooked to perfection; - Juicy as small-town gossip; - Exploding with flavor in every direction like a Tears of Tragedy guitar solo; - And from a guy who grew up eating hamburgers that were walking around the pasture just a few days earlier, I can tell you with zero exaggeration that this is some truly righteous, farm-fresh beef. On another visit to Black Tap I sampled their chicken nachos - being a gym-rat, nachos are something I hadn't had in years but... it's Vegas and therefore WTH. And that - their nachos with chicken - is another to-die-for thing these people do absolutely excellently. So now I'm back in LA and Jonesin' in a big, big way and... they've got a location down at Disneyland. A bit of a drive but I'm thinking I could be a regular. Folks, if you're looking for some brews and some truly righteous food done excellently, look for this place. Not to be missed.

We ordered the Mexico City Burger, and it was packed with flavor. The Certified Angus beef, pepper jack cheese, crispy onion rings, pickled jalapeños, and chipotle mayo all worked so well together. We also had the chicken tenders, which were crispy, juicy, and cooked perfectly. Of course, we couldn't leave without trying one of the famous CrazyShakes. We chose the Cannoli CrazyShake, and while it looked amazing, it didn't quite live up to our expectations. There was a lot of whipped cream and toppings, but we were hoping for more actual ice cream. It may have just been the flavor we picked, but it wasn't our favorite. The food was good, the service was friendly, and the portions are huge.
