Tried this spot for the first time and I will definitely be back. Me and my son got pedicures. I also got a manicure and eyebrow wax. We were both extremely pleased with the results. Everyone was super friendly. They were busy but remained attentive and verbally thankful for customers waiting patiently. Have been searching for my go-to nail salon so hoping my next visit is the same to keep me coming back and end my search! With consistency, I will give that 5th star... read more

Everyone was very nice. My nails looked great. I will be back soon to try out the dip instead of gel

Love my nails! These ladies are always attentive to detail & sweet. 10/10 would recommend if you're looking for a nail salon in Phoenix

The shop is small, which makes it super personal. All employees are beyond helpful and kind. They are engaging and they did exceptional on both my manicure and pedicure. read more

I made an appointment for a Powder fill. I walked in. A technician looked at me and pointed to a chair. No welcome or anything. I sat in that chair for 20 minutes. I got up and left and went to a nail salon down the street. Rude AF to paying clients. SMH. read more

It's nothing fancy but it gets the job done! I stopped into My Shiny Nails on my lunch break for a quick polish change. I normally do my own nails but I'm currently in my busy season at work and free time away from my desk is few and far between these days! I was in and out of My Shiny Nails in 20 minutes and it only put an $8 plus tip dent in my wallet. I'll definitely be stopping by in the future for a quick midday session! read more

Kim and her team are always wonderful. And they do such a great job with my gel manicures - they last well over a month even with constant handwashing and sanitizing. Highly recommend my shiny nails. read more

I was in Phoenix for an appointment for my mom and decided to get a pedicure to pass the time. This place didn't look like the fanciest, but had good reviews and was conveniently located for me. I was pleasantly surprised to get the BEST pedicure I've ever had! Highly recommend and will definitely return anytime I'm in the area! read more

Good morning. While visiting Phoenix I walked into Shiny Nails and was attended to right away. There was a gentleman there and he did a great job on my mani / pedi. If I lived in the area I would definitely be back. I also had brow and lip waxing and she did a beautiful painless job. I recommend you give them a try! read more

Called this place for a walk-in, last minute one day. No one else was there, but somehow it took like 15 min before the pedicures actually got started. They hadn't set up anything even when I called and told them I was on their way. They did an okay job. Kind of average, and the whole time I really did get vibes that they were talking about me. I hate when people crap on nail spots for speaking in a different language, but here, I did feel very self-conscious and not all that comfortable. It felt expensive for 2 standard pedicures. No remote for the massage chair. Ended up paying about $70 with tip which felt overpriced for the sub-par service. read more

This place is very consistent! They do a great job every time I go. Ive gotten acrylics, gel mani, pedicures and regular manicures here and they have all turned out fantastic! read more

wish i could give this place 0 stars. not only did they want me to pay $50 for this "ombre" they held me hostage until i had someone call and tell them i wasn't paying for this terrible work. She made me feel that it was my fault she didn't know how to do ombre instead of saying it from the get go. An absolute joke. read more

My Shiny Nails - Gel manicure in funny bunny color - Nail Salons Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I am the last person to blast someone on Yelp... I tried this place for the first time and will never go back. I called at 5pm to see if I could get in before they closed at 7pm. the woman on the phone said they were booked for the rest of the day and then said I could come in at 6:30. I was there by my scheduled time 6:30. I stood in the middle of the "lobby" area if you could even call it that, for at least 5 minutes before anyone even looked up to "greet" me. I was then showed the SNS colors with little to no courtesy or care. the color I picked they didn't have... and instead of being able to pick another the woman doing my nails said she would do one similar. The color turned out fine and to my liking, but literally everything about the experience was terrible. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. The first woman who filed off my existing nails was rude, aggressive, did not once speak to me, I had to pull my hand away from her filing and say that it was too hot and if hurt me. No apology or anything.. then put my nails in foil to soak and walked away. Again no words to me, but constantly talking to her coworker beside her. Then took a phone call on her personal phone. Then was counting all the money from the day I'm presuming right in front of me! Still not a word to me... I was then switched chairs to the other woman who made spoke to me twice.. she also was aggressive and going way to fast and paying very little attention to detail. I am in the service industry and I am an extremely empathetic and generous person. I have been getting my nails done for over 10 years and wanted to try this place because of the reviews and it is very close to my house. I was not told the total. I wanted my cuticles trimmed but was given no option and honestly just wanted to get the F out of there. I left with dip powder all over my fingers and some parts of my nail not even covered. If you are going to be giving shitty service to people, don't book there appointments so close to closing time. shocked and utterly upset. read more

My Shiny Nails is my FAVORITE guilty pleasure! Kim rocks at applying my full set for me! She's fast & knows what she's doing. I love get my pedicures done here because I feel very safe & clean. They have clear plastic guards between technicians and customer, bags for each new customer in pedicure bowls, and always sanitize in between every customer!! As having a chronic illness, this is beyond important to me! I enjoy the conversations I have while getting pampered!! I definitely would recommend them!! read more

Lee gave me a wonderful, much needed, pedicure. The salon is very clean and not too big to be impersonal. The only drawback was ventilation. The chemicals used for nails have a very strong odor and it hit me in the face when I walked in. I'll come back again just because lee did such a good job but I think I'll wear my N95! read more

Made an appointment for a gel manicure and regular pedicure for this afternoon - and needless to say I'm glad I came back to this place! I had a great time. I was seated right away and both of my services were relaxing and thorough. I treated myself and got the upgraded pedicure and it was so worth it. The jobs on both my hands and feet were done immaculately. Will be coming back again! read more

I went to this little nail salon because it was close to my house and I needed a pedicure badly. They did a good job with the pedicure, the massage was nice and my nails looked today at the end. The prices were a little high, I think I spent close to 40$ after tip, but not outrageously high. The place seemed to be clean. This wouldn't be the first place I came to for a pedicure, but I would return. read more

Not great, and barely a shine. I recently moved to Central Phoenix and wanted to find a salon near me for convenience. I wish that I had chosen a different place in the Valley. The extra 20 minutes to Tempe or Chandler would've been worth it. What I liked: They had availability for myself and a friend at the last minute. We called ahead about an hour before we sat down. I also liked that the chairs looked clean. I also liked how some customers were clearly regulars. I liked that their basic package include the hot stone massage. What I did NOT like: First, the attitude of the older Vietnamese lady was awful. She scowled at me the entire time and made no effort to be friendly. The man who was working with my friend was slightly friendlier, but still not what I'd expect from a salon I'm paying money to. The owner however, is much friendlier. I also didn't like the smell. I understand that these salons are filled with nail polish chemicals, but I really would have preferred better ventilation. The Product: I ended up with chipped nails the next day. Not cool. They didn't put the top coat on, and I didn't think anything of it until I put on sandals the next day and noticed that my big toes and my smallest toes had chips. The Experience: Aside from the lack of kindness, my friend ended up with a half-inch cut on the side of her foot and no apology. I ended up sitting around waiting for my polish to dry, and then just sitting around. The lady who finished painting my nails simply left us hanging. Had there been a huge crowd of people, I might have understood. But there wasn't, and the lack of communication felt incredibly rude. Their service was simply unacceptable, and I will not be returning. read more

Tammy did a fantastic classic manicure for me. At $12, I had to tip her at least $5 just for not trying to upsell me (ugh- I abhor that. Like, "no, I'm good without the $5 flower or $10 extra for gel paint that I can buy at Walmart- less than $10 for the whole bottle!). But there were none of those shenanigans happening at this quiet, understated clean establishment. She gave me a shoulder rub (again, no extra charge), and was so pleasant to talk to. Could southern hospitality be making its way out West? Hmmmm..... I'll definitely be back, and next time maybe I'll do something fancy! read more

Absolutely wondering how this place is still in business. Rude overpriced and half ass job. My simple pedicure looks like a blind toddler painted my toes, not to mention the crooked cut and filing job. If I could give -5 stars. I can do bettrr on my own at home. read more

I REALLY hate to complain or post negative reviews, however I am feeling pretty disappointed with my experience at this salon. I made an appointment & arrived early but was still not seated for my fill for about 40min after my scheduled appointment!! I had already Given up my lunch hour for this appt so I decided to stick it out... I tend to be accommodating, understanding and very patient. However, no even spoke One word to me about the delay... Or even apologized for running extremely behind or to even tried to me to reassure me they would be with me as soon as they could (just basic customer service stuff.... ). Maybe they were having an off day, but unfortunately I feel disappointed to the point that I do you cited to write this review. The silver lining is that my nails look good! Nothing phenomenal - And I certainly will not be returning - but at least they did not do a crappy job! read more

Small nail place it seems to get busy call to make an appointment.. I came for a spa pedicure I got he relax pedicure 33$ what I don't like they don't have a menu on the wall like California.. but either way my pedicure made my foot look like a Queen... the 33$ included the hot rocks, callus, hot towel, and a "massage " on your legs .Took them a good 40 min to finish my foot .. I give them 4 stars because they made me wait 10 min for nothing they got busy and they just forgot about me what if I had errands and they didn't cut the sides on my nails or didn't even ask.. but any ways service was great will I be back yes I will ... read more

It looks sketch from the exterior but it's cute inside. They have WiFi for guests. They don't have a great selection of regular polishes. I went in for a pedicure. My lady was ok but you could barely count her giving a foot massage it was more like just lathering lotion. They taunt that their basic pedi has hot stones but they barely rub them around so I don't understand the point of even using them? However, I did appreciate the massage chair and that she didn't try to have small talk bc I just like to sit back, enjoy the chair and browse my phone. Overall not super impressed, price point was ok ($23). The search for a nail salon continues... read more

My Shiny Nails - Full Set From MYSHINY NAILS !! - Nail Salons Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I was looking for a last minute nail salon and I called My Shiny Nails and they were able to get me in within the hour. At first I was kind of skeptical because the place looked very small and crowded but after leaving I was kind of impressed. The price for the basic pedicure is really cheap for everything that they do. Hot rocks massage for 23 bucks is amazing! So I'm definitely sold for that price. Andy was my nail tech and he did a pretty good job on my nails. The place wasn't packed when I walked in for my appointment but during the time I was there, many people kept showing up. The place literally had to ask people if they would like to return tomorrow because they were completely booked. I guess that says a lot about the place. I paid a total of 63 bucks for my full set and pedi. read more
