First, I want to say I forgot the names of the 2 gentleman who helped moved my furniture on 5/30/2020 around 11 am. (sorry!). But they did a wonderful job moving the heavy items we had as well as being careful and courteous even through this 100 + weather. I appreciate your hard work. I can that If you need some good movers, this is the place to call. I was very satisfied with the hard they did and I will definitely call them again in the future if I have to move again. Thanks! read more

10 stars! I'm afraid for the word to get out! Because if it does, maybe next time Michael won't be available for my next day move! ;) Seriously, if he is available for your move, you won't find a better, more reliable mover at an absolute bargain. One of the great things was the quick quote, simple,no "truck, trip, fuel, or other fees." Shockingly, no minimum of two hours like most. My new first call for any move. Thanks guys! read more

"HireAHelper" and "Moving By Professionals llc" provided terrible service. Unprepared - Movers showed up to move all possessions of a 915 sq. foot apartment with 5 small boxes (should have been 5 times as many boxes), they ended up moving all of my kitchen things in plastic shopping bags that I had to supply. Unprofessional - They didn't bring furniture pads, they used my blankets and taped them around my furniture. They kept saying they were done when there was a lot of items remaining to move, I had to keep saying "this room too, we're taking everything". A bottle of $300.00 Creed cologne was stolen. Openly nasty - One of them commented about how nice it would be for me to take a shower at the end of the day - I realized later that my shower head was missing (had been stolen) too. I'm still trying to figure out what else may have been stolen from me. This was a very bad experience to say the least. How are these guys in business? read more

Michael was a savior to my moving disaster. After finding out that the original moving company (coming from out-of-state) can't deliver my items to my apartment because it was loaded on a semi truck, I searched yelp for local movers. Moving by professionals was one of the top ones listed and reviews were great. So I call them while hysterically crying on the phone because I was beyond stressed (due to the facts that my shipment was a week late, I've been sleeping on the floor for 2 weeks, working 12 hour shifts many days straight. I was tired). Michael was very calm and he tried to help me with this mess not knowing if I was going to hire him as the mover. After playing phone tag with dispatch of the moving company, we decided on a place to meet to have my items be transferred from a semi truck to his truck. I told Michael that the truck driver will meet with me between 7-9am for the transfer. The next morning I received a phone call from Michael around 7am to check on me. I felt so appreciative of that call. It reassures me that he was there to help me and not after the money for the job. He lets me know that he will be at the location once I meet up with the driver. So after 30min of waiting, I finally met up the driver at a truck stop. I called Michael. He got there between the time he told me he would. Once he arrived, that's when he started his clock for the job. He was by himself. He helped move my items across 2 the two trucks with the other company's movers. Helped to make sure that all my items was accounted for on the list. Luckily, it was items for a one bedroom apartment. (I hope I didn't have too much stuff.) By himself and a dolly, Michael moved everything by himself up 1.5 flights of stairs. He was gentle with all the items. He worked a steady and efficient pace that didn't tired him out. He was able to move all my items from the time loading off the semi to his truck, his truck to my apartment all within 2 hours. He even let me know that I've reached the 1 hour mark so I would know if I was going to be charged a bit more for that extra time. He was very honest and his price was fair. He was most helpful during this stressful move. I highly recommend. Thank you. read more

Awesome experience! He was quick and very professional and didn't scratch up anything. Would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you again for helping with the move! read more

Michael and Thomas were awesome! They maneuvered through some pretty tight turns including a 180 degree stair turn and never touched a wall. I think they are our first movers who have used a long flat seriously heavy duty dolly. They got us moved in under 1 1/2 hrs (small office). They even dealt with my, "can you move this over there?... wait, maybe over there" requests. Michael (the owner I think) said they were going to take the weekend off (after they had moved us - not complaining - I asked if they had a busy weekend). We called on Wednesday and they moved us that Saturday. He must have heard in my voice that I desperately wanted out of our old place ASAP. Btw, if you tell them you found them through Yelp they will offer a discount for a review (at least right now). Now, I definitely verified with Michael that the discount is not contingent on a perfect review. He didn't even say anything about giving them a 5 star review when we paid. He wants real reviews I was glad they weren't like the car dealer's service department that hounds you for 100% scores. I am only mentioning this because I first wondered if the discount led to some inflated ratings. But no. They were great! Really nice guys! read more

Great movers! They were here on time. Kept in touch. Responded to my emails quickly. Wrapped all my furniture like I asked. Worked pretty quickly. & they were professional and kind. I'd use their services again for sure. read more

These are wonderful movers who moved me back in February and I've hired again for the end of June. They were professional, showed up on time, moved my furniture safely and no extra hidden costs. I was so very pleased. Thanks guys! look forward to seeing you again at the end of the month! read more

We hired Michael to help us unload our moving truck and I found them on Yelp. The price was very affordable and he and his team moved fast and handled our stuff with care. They did a great job and if we move again we will hire them for sure. read more

Mike and his team are phenomenal, I've hired them several times and even referred them out to the rest of my family members. He's quick to respond, his guys are punctual and flexible. They go the extra mile and are the friendliest most hard working guys around and the price is an incredible deal! If I didn't just buy a home I'd keep using them! read more

Absolutely cannot recommend these guys enough. They were amazing. I had a lot of things about my move that were still up in the air and I was not nearly as organized as I would have liked when they arrived. They had enough sense as to know when it was best to make an executive decision and not bother me and when they absolutely should check with me first. They helped make would could have been a disaster as smooth as possible. In a few words, Michael and Jojo were: - Ontime - Professional - Didn't break ANYTHING - Stayed until the job was done without any complaints even when it went on for additional hours! - Flexible! I'll be using them whenever possible from here on out. I highly recommend these guys. read more

Michael and his crew were excellent and everything you hope for with a moving company: efficient, kind, professional, and easy to work with. You always assume a few dents/scratches with any move, but MBP delivered without a single issue. In fact, Michael noticed one small scratch in our headboard and was up front about communicating it, but it wasn't even their fault as it was already there. They moved us out of one house and into another without a single issue. They far exceeded our expectations. Moving By Professionals will get my call any time I need to move and I'm happy to recommend them to anyone that asks. read more

Michael is so kind. I was abandoned by another moving company during a move. He was unable to help me but he referred me to another mover who was able to help. If this is any indication of the kind of professionalism this moving company has I would highly recommend them! read more

I needed some assistance in moving some large desks and got a few quotes from local options. Moving by Professionals was the most cost effective by a wide margin. Sometimes being the least expensive isn't the best choice, but based on the prior reviews I chose them. They communicated promptly, were on time, and got the job done in a hurry. The price was absolutely great and I would highly recommend them again. Thank you MBP! read more

I went with Moving by Professionals because of all the great reviews. I made an initial phone call and spoke to the owner who was very patient with me as we had almost a 15 minute phone call. He was very thorough with the information and professional. On the move in day, I received a call 30 mins before they arrived to let me know they were on the way. They arrived on time and started working immediately. They were fast! And efficient. I moved my stuff into a storage unit that wasn't too far away so I opted for the 2 hours and 2 men. They finished on time and I paid the agreed upon amount. No over charge! I was thrilled with their service. I definitely recommend this moving company. read more

Michael did a FANTASTIC job from the very beginning all the way through till the end. I can't remember the last time I met such a friendly, thorough, caring, smart and cooperative mover. Michael nails it!! He treated my piano with "kid-gloves", as if it was his very own. Michael and his team were so efficient and he kept in contact with me throughout the move. If you are looking for a mover, "look no further"! Michael is the one to call. He is a man of integrity. Michael answered my prayer for a Piano and I am very grateful for his help. read more

My review is about 2 months late, well overdue needless to say. These guys absolutely rock. We've used plenty of movers before, and Moving by Professionals (MBP) was top notch. For what what we were looking for was mainly help with our heavy furniture from a 3 bedroom home. Most companies we received quotes from were charging twice as much and for 2 people. We considered a couple quotes from companies asking for less than MBP, but also for 2 people and a truck fee. MBP had no truck fee or hidden fees - and even sent 3 people for our move. Michel, Thomas, and Deion showed up on time and absolutely crushed our move. They worked hard, and moved fast but took the time to take care of our stuff and not damage either home. On top of that, they're 3 of the nicest people you'll meet - by far the friendliest and best customer service from any moving company we have ever used. At some point, we will be moving again. I won't even bother to get quotes, I'm simply using these guys again. If you need movers, look no further. read more

Showed up on time, got everything done in a timely manner and the guys were super friendly. The prices were really good and there was no hidden fees. I would hire them again if we decide to move again in the future. Fully recommend. read more

Great experience - team was prompt, on time and did not get lost. Nothing was damaged and they even went out of their way to help with furniture that I didn't think could be brought to second floor - will hire again when time to move. read more

Roderick and Nigel showed up within the estimated time. They continuously worked hard for 7 hours. Nigel is amazing at making the most out of the space available. I will recommend them, and use them again in the future. They're good guys. It's easy to see why they're rated very well. Price point was also very reasonable. I couldn't have imagined doing this move myself. Thanks for the help. read more

Just as advertised. Came on time, brought more people, carefully wrapped, loaded and unloaded all my furniture. Highly recommended!

Wonderful service from the time I requested a quote until the last item was unloaded!!! Michael and his associate were fantastic. They took such great care of my belongings. Hard working and just a pleasure to work with. I've used several movers over the years and I would easily recommend this company over ANY others I've used! I highly recommend!! Not that I hope to move again (at least any time soon), but when I do, this will be the company I will always use. Thank you again Michael! read more

These guys earn and deserve every bit of their 5 star rating. Michael communicated well, answered all my questions and assured me the quoted rate, was the rate. No hidden fees or up charges. The day of our move, Thomas, Joseph and Bobby were on time, worked quickly, efficiently and made sure all of our items were wrapped and safely moved to the truck. They never complained not even with our stupid heavy boxes, and were personable and smiling the whole day. I have moved a lot over the years, and I will always call Moving by professionals from now on. On top of amazing service, you cannot beat the price! read more

Michael got back with me right away and always stayed in touch about ETA (arrival time). They showed up, got the job done super fast, literally "moved" the entire time and were very pleasant. Great quote, moved everything across the apt. complex in the most efficient way-rolled it over in wardrobe container-these guys are on it! Would recommend! read more

Super efficient, friendly and FAST movers. 3 guys showed up and unloaded our 26ft truck (2-story house!) in 2 hours flat! Choose these guys for your next move, you WONT regret it! read more

Michael And his guys are very easy to work with and very affordable. You are going to have a hard time finding someone in the valley area who can offer the type of quality move these guys provide. They were on time for our move, very careful about not damaging our bigger items on our narrow, winding staircase and most importantly were lightning fast! Will be contacting these guys for my move out. Book Now! read more

If I could give this company 10 's I would!! I have moved at least five times in the last ten years because I purchase & sell real estate. This company is the BEST in Arizona! The owner and employees are professional, hard working, and timely. They communicate if the original move time is going to be modified (moved up). Michael, the owner, is an exceptional business man and the men he employs are top notch! The price was outstanding and the best you'll find out there. I drove 8 hrs through two states after they packed my uhaul trailer and when we unpacked the next day, everything in the trailer was just as it was when Moving By Professionals packed it. That tells you how experienced they are at packing/moving. I highly encourage you to hire Moving By Professionals whether you have a small move or a large move. Trust me, you'll be happy you did!! read more

Found Michael and Moving By Professionals perusing through Yelp. Michael was quick to respond to my inquiry and gave us the most reasonable cost for moving. Bonus: he was available for our ideal date (which was very last minute) and could also move our baby grand piano. Michael and his team were friendly, professional and efficient. We had much more stuff than expected, so two trips were necessary, but weren't charged for the cost of travel for the second trip. Michael and Moving By Professionals optimized our moving process. Highly recommended! read more

Michael and Thomas were a huge help while moving. We needed someone immediately and they were the only ones who responded and were able to help us out. They were quick and very careful with all of our items. And they went above and beyond what we had originally asked for. Their prices were also some of the best we've seen. Definitely calling them up when it's time to move again. read more

Excellent! Michael was professional, organized and came when he said he would. Took good care of us, even took a couch to Goodwill. He finished in under 2 hours, I was very impressed! read more

I can't stop recommending this company. Another moving company cancelled on me the night before my move. I called Moving by Professionals after 10pm thinking I was going to leave a voice message but Michael answered the phone and was able to show up later the following day. Michael and his crew are professional, they completed the job in a timely manner and there are no hidden fees. read more

Made our move a lot easier. We were scheduled at 9am and they didn't come till a little after 9:30am BUT they notified us before hand and we appreciated the timely notification, it gave us time to get some breakfast on the go (which we needed) but they were quick and managed to do everything under 2 hours and they did this considering this was late notice for the move. Thank you guys for the hard work and we appreciate everything. Definitely recommend. read more

They went above and beyond the call of duty for me. I moved from Atlanta to Scottsdale one day before Thanksgiving, and the owner was flexible and agreed to come after my pod was delivered, regardless of the time, so that I could get settled before the holiday. I highly recommend this company!! read more

Worked with Michael to get a quote. Fair pricing and was able to get our furniture into our house last minute. Great guys to work with! Recommended! read more

Definitely recommend Moving by Professionals!! Michael and his team were great! First off he quoted me half of what most moving company's were charging from AZ to TX. No hidden fees. Straight forward! He and his team were hard working, quick and careful with our belongings. Did not hear them complain once especially after having to work in the ridiculous heat. And not only was he able load up and move our belongings he also towed our second vehicle with his truck! Which saved us another couple hundred! Thank you so much Michael! read more

This is an excellent team and I highly recommend them. They helped my wife move. Very professional. They were fast and finished everything on time. Their prices was amazingly good and they did not charge any extra. Overall I highly recommend them. read more

Wow!!! Not only do I recommend Moving By Professionals to everyone else, but I will also use them every time we move. Seriously I wish we'd used them sooner, we've moved every year for the past 8 years (God knows why.....? Oh well.) They were professional, fast, on time, and efficient. Nothing was broken. The truck they brought was a just a tad too small but it was my fault, I should've given them a better idea of how much crap we had. Even I didn't realize how much crap we had.... I also didn't consider our little apartment storage unit. So we'll have to make another trip or two with the cars, but that's my own fault and I'm not even mad. Had to go back home to get the cats anyway. They got all the big stuff, the heavy stuff, and The majority of the boxes. Actually they got all the boxes, the only things they didn't get were the randos that I hadn't packed yet. And I didn't expect them to grab that stuff anyway. I expressed to Michael that my husband was on the fence about hiring movers because he didn't know how fast they'd be. He's quite a hustler when we move so he didn't want me to pay for help that might be slow, especially since it's a cost by the hour. They were not at all slow! He quoted me two hours, they started right at 9am and finished at 10:56am LOL! I know this because Michael came and asked if I wanted to settle my bill and I looked at my watch and said "you guys are done!?!" They don't mess around. I like that. Highly recommend them. I have several friends who are moving soon and I'll send them their way. read more

Thomas & Nigel just moved our daughter from her 1 bedroom apartment in downtown Phoenix back to Chandler. The arrived precisely on time at 8:00am, and were unloaded right at 2 hours, perfectly meeting the time and cost expectation. Will use them again this fall when our kids move back to school. Would recommend to friends or family. Thanks again guys! read more

Michael and his team were top notch and I highly recommend them. They arrived on time and ready to work. The 3 men who completed my move were very polite, hard working and respectful of my belongings. Mickel, Jimmy and Joe did a great job and I'm very happy with the move. Rates were exactly as advertised and no funny business. Thanks again for helping this tough event be as simple and easy as possible. Lastly, Michael was the first to reply and his communications were stellar throughout. read more
