Honestly, my only regret is not going with them from the start. From the first call, the communication was excellent. My family had an excellent experience with our local move from Norterra to Arcadia with Dose. Carrie, our move coordinator, was immensely helpful in breaking down our various options and costs as we planned the move. She was extremely responsive and flexible as we had to make changes to our move-out/-in dates and arrange for storing our things overnight. The crew that packed, loaded, and unloaded our things (Amarie / Deshawn / Jade / Kevin / Greg) was fantastic - they took great care in handling all of our things, asked questions rather than making assumptions, and were extremely courteous throughout the process. And there were no surprises in the final cost, with everything thoroughly documented and detailed, along with a guided overview before we paid. I would highly recommend Dose for any local PHX moves. We requested 4 quotes from moving companies with the highest online ratings for my daughter's move on Dec 18th. "Dose Moving" was not the lowest bidder based on hourly rates, but they definitely offered the best value. Marilee at "Dose Moving" responded immediately with a clear quote and no additional stairs fee or other "hidden fees." The quote included a very reasonable fixed "Trip Fee," which attracted our attention since the Trip Fee quoted by the other bidders was not fixed, nor was it reasonable. When I called Marilee to confirm the details of her quote, she also provided a specific arrival time, rather than a 4-hour window per the other bidders. Marilee was very understanding about our needs, and assured us her movers would arrive on time. On move day, the movers called 30 minutes before arriving, and text us when they were 15 minutes away. Travis and Cole arrived at 8:30 AM sharp, and immediately began working. They were very professional, and worked hard without taking a break. Travis and Cole were also very patient with the long walk between the elevator and my daughter's apartment, and also during the time waiting for an elevator. Our only regret was not adding a 3rd mover, as that would have cut the overall move time significantly. Bottom line, we had a very positive moving experience, and will definitely hire "Dose Moving" next time we need movers in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. read more

We used Dose moving to unload our pods after our arrival to Scottsdale. We hired a team of 4. We were sent C.J., Brayan, Brandon G. and Mckailin. What wonderful young strong men! They were professional, careful, competent, and very careful with our belongings! They worked quickly (which saved us money!) but so carefully! We used moving companies in San Diego to help us load the pods and the difference in services was miles apart! We would recommend Dose for any of your moving needs and would certainly use them again..... even though I hate moving and will never do it again LOL read more

Though the move ended up a little more expensive than we expected (poor estimation of time/effort on our part), we overall had an excellent experience. First of all, we were given a 30-minute window for arrival, a really nice change of pace from 2-hour windows. And the three guys who performed our move (Travis, Kodie, and Corey) were extremely efficient, forgiving of the fact that we were underprepared (had things we didn't want them to move on/in things we did), and were just generally nice people. One of the few moves I've had where none of my furniture (or our floors/walls) got visibly/audibly dinged, and they made sure that everything was where we wanted it to be (versus just in the general area) before they left. They overcharge,excessively charge. The owner took money from me to settle the bill and at the same time the MasterCard put the charge back on my bill and she took that money too! Who does that? The MasterCard is forcing me to pay a bill I have already paid. l had to hire an attorney to force Dose to return the MasterCard money! Please do not use that company . They do not take care of your furniture or possessions. They used my credit card without permission. I did not see the bill they put it on my credit card. They wrote affidavits that were false swore that they were true that's perjury. Is this a company that you want to move your possessions?They were terrible nothing they said was to happen took place. Instead they blamed me they said I never called them. They said I said, I was putting my entire move into storage they told me I didn't tell them where I was moving to. It was absolutely incredible the whole ordeal. Yet, I actually did call them. I have the telephone log, and emails from after trying to settle with them. They didn't even know who I was. read more

Unfortunately it took me about 5 months to get around to writing this review, however the damage from using this company will last a lifetime. They cost us an estimated $5k in damage to our furniture. We had a cross country move and they showed up with two guys. The two guys were sluggish and had to send more reinforcements to do the move. No one told us we needed to buy a bunch of blankets to protect our furniture (given this is our first cross country move we were unaware that we had to have these.) We ended up rushing to the store to get blankets yet the store only had three available which was not nearly enough to get the job done. Management will probably say it's our fault, however the pieces that were wrapped with blankets still managed to get broken by their poor wrapping and handling of our furniture (see photos for broken stand for the tv which was wrapped with a blanket.) They did a shoddy job with Saran wrap as many of our items were exposed and the wrap was often ripped. The way the furniture was stacked on top of each other in the moving truck was so poorly done (unfortunately I can't find that photo but I will add it once I do.) Of the furniture they handled, I would say 90% of it was at least partially damaged. Overall a zero star experience and it would have been cheaper to just sell all of our furniture and never hire these movers in the first place. read more

Dose Moving is a fantastic local mover but even more importantly, they are a fantastic member of the community (I'll get to that in a moment). We are selling our house in Scottsdale and building a house in the northeast valley. Fortunately, in addition to their moving services, Dose also has an immaculately clean and climate controlled storage facility (I visited it about a year ago and it is quite impressive). The movers showed up precisely on time with everything they would need to empty our house. They were respectful, courteous, and crazy careful with everything they moved. Before they finished, we did at least two walk throughs to make sure they had everything. When I noticed that I had missed telling them about a few items, they immediately wrapped them and put them on the truck. In addition to the usual furniture, we also needed them to move some expensive artwork and two very expensive tower speakers. I watched as they carefully wrapped everything and ensured that they were well protected. When they had everything safely in storage, I received an invoice that was actually a little less than the original estimate (how often does that happen). I'd recommend them in a heartbeat even if they weren't great members of the community. Dose Moving has an epic origin story that I will leave them to tell. The company is owned by a couple and the husband is a veteran. They try to hire veterans whenever possible and it shows in the work ethic of their employees. Beyond that, they are incredibly charitable and organize annual food drives for the homeless. They represent, in the best spirit, the value of local companies and that's just another reason to use them for your next move. read more

Response to Marilee Please - you are not telling the whole story at all. My damages were over $500, you gave me $15! Your movers cost me at least $300 by what I wrote in my review - moving slow, constantly taking breaks. I moved twice with your company in 6 months and you could have had a loyal, repeat customer HAD you treated me right. The measly money given back was only done after repeated phone calls, hoop jumping (send in pics, etc.) and being asked to wait weeks because the owner's family member was sick. ???? I did as asked. They act as they did nothing wrong and take no accountability for hiring slacker employees. l only wrote my review at this point because I keep seeing their facility when I drive the freeway and every time I'm reminded of my bad experience. What difference does it make if I wrote it the day of the move or now. You are just trying to deflect away all the honest statements I made which are my truth as I experienced it. Not ok to take advantage of inexperienced people during moving, which is a stressful endeavor. I was ready to give this company 5 stars I had a great experience but when I unboxed my 65" flat screen I found a crack and now I have vertical bars. Brand new TV that I'm still paying off. Very disappointed. I emailed them about filing a claim but that's meaningless unless it gets my TV replaced or reimbursed. Other than that they were very quick and efficient, came on time and my one bedroom apartment was all moved out within 2 hours. The guys were very friendly and it was a stress free move. Just wish they took more precautions with my TV... I got quotes for way cheaper from other companies but chose this one specifically because I trusted that with the high price I wouldn't have to worry about this kind of damage. Could have saved money and just gone with a cheaper company -__- Would recommend but I suggest you move fragile items yourself since I was obviously wrong to trust them with it. read more

We did 2 moves (with some interim time in storage) with Dose Moving & Storage this year-- what a nightmare! 1) To move us out of our hoome, they sent a truck that was too small (which was especially shocking since we wound up selling nearly half of the furniture we'd intended to move). 2) Several hours later, they finally sent a 2nd truck.... and everything that was loaded into truck #2 was placed in 'ghost' storage units (because the staff did not associate those units to our order, effectively temporarily losing our belongings) so none of the contents of truck #2 were removed from storage and loaded for the move to our new home. They finally figured out their error on move-in day when we insisted, over and over, that there were MANY things missing-- so after some hours of searching, they brought a 2nd truckload of our belongings-- but still left some things lying around at the warehouse that we waited another few days for. 3) During our move-out, there was a new cantilever patio umbrella-- clearly identified as something that was to be included in the move-- that the crew said they could not take-- so we had to give it away to someone to get it off the property 4) Worst of all-- the Dose team member who came to our home to write up the order, Ruben ASSURED us they knew how to disassemble and pack a Sleep Number bed and adjustable base-- but on moving day, no one in the crew knew what to do-- and they tore our mattress up and broke the adjustable bases trying to disassemble and move it. 4) They also broke the desk from our home office. Ultimately, they did $1,100.00 in damage. We followed their process to file a claim for reimbursement, and after they reviewed our claim, they notified us they will reimburse us $68.00. (That's 6% of the amount of damage they did.) To add insult to injury, they're requiring that our signature on the claim determination agreement be notarized-- so after paying the notary, we'll net about $48 in reimbursement on the $1,100 expense to repair and replace what Dose damaged. Every step of the process with this company was horrible-- I would never use them again. read more

My husband and I had a huge move from one house to another in Chandler on 11/10/22. All the young men that moved our house full of my crap were wonderful and professional. It took almost 10 hours and we are still not done moving things because I'm a hoarder (says the husband). But they were all great and asked us what we want moved. If we move again, we'll use them.
