This month we needed someone to do a crosstown move for our son. Two Men's quote was extremely high so I researched a bit and found the stellar reviews of Just-In Time Moving. Since their quote was almost half the price (!) we decided to give them a try. You wonder if paying less means inferior service or other problems. That wasn't the case at all. Communication was great. Eric and Miguel showed up right on time (one of those dreadful 110° Phoenix heat advisory days) and worked quickly and carefully. We were very happy to have found this company and are pleased to say they'll be our local movers going forward.

I needed to get my household goods out of their storage quickly to stop the situation from getting worse. Just-In Time Moving was gracious enough to fit me into their schedule last minute. Their office was communicative, their estimate was thorough and clear, and the final bill matched what they estimated. The crew showed up on time, communicated throughout the day, and was professional, careful, and kind. This was not a simple move. They had to unload my furniture and belongings from storage crates, unwrap items that had been wrapped by the prior mover, take care with everything, rewrap my furniture, load it, transport it, and unload it into my new storage unit. They completed the entire job in 7.5 hours. By comparison, the prior mover had tried to bill me 16.5 hours for the move into storage alone. Just-In Time Moving did a fantastic job, and I am extremely grateful they were willing to help me on short notice. After the experience I had before them, their professionalism, clear communication, and honest billing meant everything. My advice to anyone hiring movers: read all reviews carefully, do not take online ratings at face value, check whether the company is listed with moversaz.org, review BBB ratings, and read how the company responds to 1-star and 2-star reviews. I wish I had done more research before hiring the first company. I am very thankful I found Just-In Time Moving when I did.

The movers in AZ had known this was broken because the leg for the dresser was wrapped in plastic and shoved under the tarp covering the dresser. We were never informed that it had been broken. We filed a claim, since this was a brand new dresser and it's unsafe to have in our baby's room. We were denied because we did not inform the movers it was broken before they left the premises in AZ, but to know it was broken we would have had to been able to inspect all the furniture in the truck which is impossible to do when it's loaded. Plus, if the movers knew they broke it, we should have been notified by them. Getting a response from our claim agent takes multiple follow ups, where they tell me the same information and do not answer any of my follow-up questions, despite telling me to reach back out if I have any questions. Moving is always a stressful time, and now we have the added stress of trying to receive some compensation so we can replace furniture that was knowingly broken.

Just to see, I spent a day calling around for quotes. Some places wanted nearly $300/hr plus a long laundry list of hidden fees, and I thought there was no way it was worth it. But the last company I called was Sterling Interstate, and wow--what a breath of fresh air. We had already dealt with a lot of stress while closing on our first home, and we just needed a reliable team to cross the finish line. The moving industry doesn't always have the best reputation, so I was praying they'd be good--and they turned out to be the absolute best. Not only is their hourly rate very fair for the quality of work, but they also don't hit you with random fees. My husband and I had our home 95% packed and stacked, leaving them to navigate moving everything down a flight of stairs and prepping/packing the larger furniture. Since this was our first time hiring movers, we were blown away: they wrapped and packed everything like it was going cross-country! Even knowing it was only a 15-minute drive, they took zero chances with damage, and everything arrived completely untouched. I am terrible with names, so I've already forgotten the exact crew who came out, but they were AMAZING. On a brutally hot and humid July day in Arizona, they hustled nonstop for 6.5 hours. Jeff and his crew (Roy, Matthew & Aidan) came up with a solution for me that was very workable. They came out 2 days before the move and completely loaded up a U-Haul. They came back 2 days later with their truck and loaded up the balance of my property, moved both trucks to my new location and unloaded both. These guys worked like dogs, but very efficient and friendly dogs! They were extremely careful with my stuff, and the only thing that got broken was a piece that I transported myself. I should have let them do it. They came in under what their original time / cost estimate was. Tim and his staff were very gracious in being able to help me twice in essentially the same week for both moves I had, going to and from the same locations. I appreciate him and his company for their help and I plan on reaching out if I ever end up having another domestic move here in the future! As a side note, he charges/quotes based on the furniture you have over hours of service. I found this to be cheaper than other companies out there (especially if you just have one room of furniture like I did) so he's really nice for smaller moves like mine and I recommend him as well because of this. He even helped my mom take an old TV stand to consignment for us which was very much an appreciated favor of his company with the original job and furniture that I had with him.

All of the big name interstate movers turn down small sized interstate moves. I must have called 12 different movers; which included the well known companies and some of the smaller ones. The local companies are happy to take your business for intrastate moves; but not interstate moves. I was concerned when no contract was required by Brandon. However, this guy can be trusted to perform what is agreed upon with just using text messaging. He is also very careful with fragile pieces; taking great care in delivering them in one piece. Some movers suggested shipping our boxes. However, this is not an inexpensive option. Plus ,unlike Brandon, who carries your boxes out of the unit and into your destination ( we have three levels ); the usual shippers require delivery to the store and drop off at the eventual destinations front stoop. The Moving At Ease team delivered the best move I have ever had. I have moved many times across the country and back and have had good experiences and those bordering on nightmarish. I moved locally about three years ago with a company that left a lot to be desired. Just recently, I needed movers for a local move in town from a moderate sized home to a larger home with stairs and tricky entrances. I have many pieces of art, some large furniture pieces, fragile outdoor sculptures and tough places to get it all into and out of. Moving at Ease was recommended and Dan came out to give me an estimate. Many companies I contacted did not even want to come out and provide an estimate which I'm not comfortable with. But Dan came out as scheduled was honest and gave me a realistic range with options I could choose, i.e. packing, unpacking etc. The packing team was amazing and had a large job done in an efficient amount of time. Dorothy and gang were superb. The moving team led by Chris was outstanding. The day was a 12 hour moving day and the team was always upbeat, willing to change furniture around and put things in place. Chris was on the ball, organized and knew what he was doing. The unpacking team came the next day and completely unpacked and even arranged things in very creative ways that I would never have thought about. They stayed until I was satisfied that I didn't need anymore help. I never felt like they just wanted to move on or get out of my house. I am a local real estate agent and understand the importance of having top quality vendors that I can refer to my clients. One day at a local establishment, I was fortunate enough to meet the owners of Moving At Ease. I exchanged contact information and knew that I would contact them to give them a shot at moving my own personal residence. The day came and I needed Moving At Ease to help me move...not once...but twice. As we know, moving is not an easy process ...so it is important to have a very reliable moving team to assist you in this process. The moving team we had was phenomenal...moved us out of our home into a storage unit and made sure our items were well packaged and stored for one month. Made my move so easy...when it came time to move us out of the storage unit...they were there on time and moved everything in place just where I wanted it and set all pieces of furniture up. I can't say ENOUGH good things about my experience with this company. Charlie was the first person I spoke with, he immediately put me at ease and answered all my questions about moving my mother out of her home and into an assisted living facility....all while I am 3 states away. On day one Dorothy and Dan helped us pack. They were kind, polite and efficient as they advised us on how best to organize for the move on the following day. On day two they sent us the A Team of Movers with Frank, Nick, Adam, Ryan and Dan moving my mom's belongings, dropping off donations to Goodwill and hauling heirlooms to storage for us. They were fast workers with GREAT attitudes and funny jokes. They made the process so much smoother than I could have ever imagined. The day finished with me showing up to my mom's apartment to find her with a gigantic smile on her face (the first in a long time) as Lisa, the ultimate bestest ever un-packer was putting the last of my mom's treasures in place. We hired Moving at Ease because I was moving my father and his companion from an assisted living facility in Chandler to a Memory Care facility in Chandler. I was somewhat emotional because of the decline of my father's health and the fact that he now needed 24/7 care. Lisa and Ginger arrived to pack up our things two days before the actual move and did so in a timely manner. When moving day arrived the team packed up the truck as quickly as possible and moved all our belongings to our respective buildings and were more than willing to move things in and around to make for a better flow and functional. Ginger went right to task in unpacking and her team helped get things set up properly so that the computer was working and of course, the TV before they left. They were professional and very personable as I felt like my family was doing the move. These movers were AMAZING. They made an arduous chore FUN. Best moving company in the Country!!! My wife and I move often for my job and we have used a number of moving companies all over the country. We have had a number of mediocre to bad experiences with other moving companies. Moving At Ease was different. They are extremely professional, showed up on time to our home and moved all of our stuff very quickly and with care. All of our furniture was wrapped to ensure no damage would be done to any of it. They made sure everything was in place where my wife and I wanted it in our new residence and didnt leave until we were satisfied. We were extremely impressed with their attention to detail with even the simplest of items. This is the first time I've used professional movers, and I wasn't expecting a very good experience based on what I've heard from others when they've used moving companies. WOW was I impressed with Moving at Ease! Two professional gentlemen showed up, on time and ready to work! They were very efficient and no time went to waste even with my haphazard packing skills. They handled everything carefully and nothing was damaged during handling or the drive. Before they left each location, they asked several times for me to be sure that I hadn't missed anything. I had some unusual items to move, and they couldn't have been in better care. The actual moving costs came in below the estimated cost and they were done in 5 hours including the 2 hour drive! Today I was with my friend Roxie Booko on her moving day. If there were 10 stars I would give it to them I was witness to a great company. The men, headed by Danny B did a fantastic job. All 5 men were good workers, careful with everything they picked up and packed. Wrapped furniture in plastic, some with moving blankets and plastic. They were courteous, respectful and all out excellent workers. Moving At Ease packs everything, delivers, unpacks and puts each item in the room where they belong (just point where you want it and it's done), plus two ladies come into the house before moving to pack everything, then unpacks everything from putting kitchen items in cabinets to putting all your clothes in your closet. You don't have to move a finger (no pun intended). I was sooo imipressed. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. read more

My moving team was amazing - I had 4 guys and 2 trucks show up to my house and they got the job done so quickly .... they're extremely nice and professional. They wrapped everything for me and not one thing got damaged or lost in the move. Frank, kind of like the head guy in charge of the other guys , went above and beyond helping me. He cleaned my daughters fish tank and really went out of his way to make sure they were properly moved and ok during the transition. They guys set up my apartment so perfectly. I have been using Moving At Ease for the last 4.5 years and can't say enough good things about them. I've worked with them on corporate moves, personal moves, container and storage unit unloading, general furniture rearranging, out-of-state runs, and even large TV production moves that required lots of personalized attention. Every single time they were on time, polite, fun to be around, and did a great job handling our items with care. And they are fast! These are probably some of the most efficient movers in the valley, and they always are able to get the job done ahead of schedule. I called several movers to compare prices, and read all the reviews I could find about movers to help with a transfer from one storage unit to another in town. Dealing with Flynn, Dan and Charlie was easy, and they made it clear they wanted to provide excellent service. They sent out a 2-man crew (Matt and Dom) on the specified date, and those guys were easy going, yet efficient. They did a great job organizing my belongings in the new storage unit. One suggestion would be to have Matt and Don change their telephone number: I almost did not pick up their notification call because my phone indicated an out of state number I did not recognize.... Moving At Ease is not the cheapest in town, but not the most expensive either. I would recommend them highly for your next move. read more

From the start of my experience with "Moving At Ease" - obtaining the estimate, all the way thorough to the day of an out of state move - I cannot express how they lived up their business name. Isaiah was communicative, patient and helpful from day 1. His team was solid from packing carefully and move out, to our out of state delivery and unpacking. I was extremely impressed by the service provided by Moving At Ease. It was a relief to actually speak to the owner of the company during my initial phone call. He clearly answered all of my questions and was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the moving process. Additionally, he was candid in suggesting how I could minimize the cost of the job. WOW! I was BEYOND impressed with this company. I just moved last week and I wasn't nearly as prepared (or packed) as I should have been. These guys were awesome! They told me not to worry and were willing and able to help me finish up my last minute packing. They were very nice about the fact that I wasn't 100% ready for them. They were extremely cautious with all my fragile items and packing them correctly. In fact, I did not have a single chip, scratch or dent in any of my furniture or dishes. I was shocked! Just wanted everyone to know these guys rock. when Covid hit we used them to move my mother-in-law and they stepped up to the plate and did her a great job. I knew then I would call them when our time came. The day was today after 6 plus months of delays on our new build we finally got our keys and just like expected they knocked it out of the park. I can't say Thank You enough the Isaiah and his movers . We had to reschedule 5 times and every time he got us set up never complaining about our schedule or lack of it because of delay after delay. Very happy I chose Moving at Ease to get me from point A to B. Their price-point is a bit higher than other movers in the Phoenix area but the service is top notch and worth every penny. Chase and Co. were personable, professional, and proficient. They took under 2.5 hours to move the contents of my 2 bedroom apartment from S. Scottsdale to N. Phoenix/Scottsdale area. The movers took directions and understood my needs from the outset. As with any moving company, things go a whole lot smoother when they're simply moving you and not packing you up as well. There is glut of moving companies in the Phoenix area but for my money I'm not sure there is one better than Moving at Ease. read more

My wife and i have been in a service based business for many decades. Now retired. From the moment JT and Isaiah arrived they were accommodating and organised. Nothing was too much for them as they handled our somewhat complicated move. When they arrived at our destination it was a delight to see how they made the job look easy. I needed a move on short notice, had called a couple other companies and they had no availability. When I finally made contact with moving at ease they went the extra mile to squeeze me into their already tight schedule. The team they sent me had already completed a move in the morning before making it to my apartment and the guys absolutely rocked it!!! I could not be happier with the excellent service I received. I forgot to tell them about a grandfather clock, but crew leader Tristian handled it very well with apparent ease which really made me feel a lot better. On the day of services, the phrase "above & beyond" doesn't cut it. Frank introduced himself and immediately went into action for their services. We had a 2 man team & Frank explained they are there to help us with anything! There were a couple of items we didn't need and had to dispose of which Frank & his team handled without hesitation. I just survived a full two-day pack-and-move with Moving Team Six, and I swear to you, this team restored my faith in humanity. (Yes, it's that serious.) Let me set the stage: My last move with a different company was so traumatic, I practically needed therapy. Broken items, stolen items, chaos, zero communication -- the whole nightmare. So this time, my anxiety was on HIGH ALERT. I was expecting disaster. Instead? I got the Avengers of moving. Day 1: Packing -- Enter Bryan, Antonio, & Johnny These three walked in like absolute professionals -- calm, respectful, not fazed by anything -- and immediately took control of the situation in the absolute BEST, most important way possible. They wrapped, sorted, labeled, and boxed my entire life with more care than I give my own children's artwork. They checked in when it mattered ("Do you want to keep this here?" "Should this go in the new pantry?"), but not in that annoying "I need guidance on every teaspoon" way. THEY JUST GOT IT. The perfect balance of independent and in-sync with me. And they worked. THE. ENTIRE. TIME. No breaks. No disappearing acts. No leaning on walls pretending to think. Just nonstop competence, kindness, integrity and respect. Day 2: Moving -- Add James & Daniel to the Squad Five movers total. Five absolute beasts. Five men who moved my entire house like they were in some kind of synchronized Olympic event I didn't know existed. They were lifting, gliding, maneuvering furniture through impossible angles like magicians. They protected my floors, my walls, my sanity -- everything. They placed things exactly where I wanted them without needing a map, a diagram, or 600 questions. And!! They asked just enough to keep me involved without pulling me into any chaos. At one point, I literally had a moment where I thought: "Is this... fun? Is moving ACTUALLY going well?" I didn't know that was possible. Quality over Quantity. Every. Single. Time. Yes, they cost more than the random Craigslist guys with a truck. And THANK GOD FOR THAT. This isn't a "you get what you pay for" situation. This is a you get MORE than what you pay for situation. They treated my home and belongings like their own. They moved like a well-trained unit. They clearly take pride in their work. And honestly? If I could've hugged each of them without making it weird, I would have. Hired these guys to move my house and was very clear that the most important part was my saltwater…read moreaquarium. They took a look around and quoted me at 150 an hour. They told me they had worked with fish tanks and had moved pool tables before. Later he quoted me 2100 and asked for a 200 dollar deposit. When they came over they were seriously unprepared. To remove the legs from the pool table they asked to use our tools. They didn't remove the slates first and tried to lift it realized how heavy it was and decided to lay it upside down support the weight of it on the bumpers. Due to this they broke two of the bolts on the bumper. I told them I wanted to save the aquarium for last so I could keep my corals in the best condition possible as they need specific parameters to survive. They said they would come back for it after they first loaded the 2 u hauls they had. Even though there half of what we asked them to move was still here (a factor that when I mentioned later he proceeded to yell at me for). My friend Carlos came over to help me remove everything from the tank into bins with water, heaters and air pumps. They came back about several hours later from unloading everything they had in the u huals to the new house. They attempted to move the tank and said nevermind we will come back Wednesday. This was on a Saturday. Both Carlos and I tried to express to them how detrimental a situation they were putting my corals in that I had over 22,000 dollars were worth of corals that would die by then and that is including that it is my personal business as I grow them out and make profit off cutting and selling pieces of them. They didn't care and tried to blame me saying we should have had it down earlier. Even though we explain that it couldn't be for the sake of the fish and corals. He essentially gave me a not my problem attitude about. After that he tried to quote me at 2,900 on top of the 200 and threatened that if I didn't pay that he wouldn't come back Wednesday for my tank. So I paid him that. Later my wife informed me when she took them to the new house that he asked her to go buy them water and when she came back they were just sitting out front ordering Doordash and sat there for a few hours eating what she said looked like chicken and shrimp just talking. On Wednesday they came over to move the tank and even with my 3 stacked vertebrae I ended up having to help them move it because they were having trouble. When we finally got everything together and looked at all the damage we realized they scratched up our china cabinet and table. They broke my sons computer screen. Damaged and outdoor umbrella. They broke one of my wife's Crystal China glasses ( her grandmother smuggled that set out of Austria during World War 2 when she was told the German's were confiscating everyone's things). They broke and very old and valuable Disney Snow globe. They broke the bottom of my fish tank ( luckily it was just cosmetic pieces and not structural.) Lastly all but 4 of my corals had died. I wrote him to inform him of this fact and he just tried to claim our stuff was messed up to begin with and that he was only taking responsibility for the computer screen. When I asked him for his insurance information he just told me to have my lawyer contact him. I went to check to see if the website had insurance information as it said they were insured and suddenly the website was down. After that he blocked me on Facebook.

They were on time, efficient and very helpful + at a great cost. Would have not been able to do…read morethis move without them. Totally recommend.
