Great movers and reasonable. The men took great care in wrapping my furniture. The packing was fast and efficient. They were just as good unloading and asking where everything was to go. Even took apart and then reassembled a difficult. queen bed frame. Highly recommend them for moving. read more

We have moved too many times to count and can honestly say that Sterling Interstate was the best experience to date. From the initial phone call and estimate to their flexibility and communication and amazing packing job we felt safe to entrust them with the contents of our home. They wrapped our furniture with care as if it were their own and communicated with us from the road on our interstate move. I recommend them highly. read more

They were the very BEST!!! My parent's grandfather clock was moved with excellent care. They were professional, kind and timely. No hidden fees amd most importantly no broken items. I would use them again and again. They helped me preserve my parent's legacy. read more

Absolutely outstanding. I mean it. Nanci and Ron absolutely care about what they are doing. Their communication and follow through are fantastic. I had the joy of doing a cross-country move and everything turned out perfectly. Would highly recommend them. They will take care of your items as if they were their own. To boot, they are really good humans. So appreciate them. read more

Like most people moving just 15 minutes away, my husband and I initially wondered if we could just do it ourselves with help from friends and family. "It couldn't be that bad, right?" Just to see, I spent a day calling around for quotes. Some places wanted nearly $300/hr plus a long laundry list of hidden fees, and I thought there was no way it was worth it. But the last company I called was Sterling Interstate, and wow--what a breath of fresh air. We had already dealt with a lot of stress while closing on our first home, and we just needed a reliable team to cross the finish line. The moving industry doesn't always have the best reputation, so I was praying they'd be good--and they turned out to be the absolute best. Not only is their hourly rate very fair for the quality of work, but they also don't hit you with random fees. My husband and I had our home 95% packed and stacked, leaving them to navigate moving everything down a flight of stairs and prepping/packing the larger furniture. Since this was our first time hiring movers, we were blown away: they wrapped and packed everything like it was going cross-country! Even knowing it was only a 15-minute drive, they took zero chances with damage, and everything arrived completely untouched. I am terrible with names, so I've already forgotten the exact crew who came out, but they were AMAZING. On a brutally hot and humid July day in Arizona, they hustled nonstop for 6.5 hours. They took necessary breaks, but they worked so hard, all while cracking jokes with us and keeping the mood light. By the time they left, it felt like saying goodbye to old friends. Pro tip: If you hire movers in the AZ summer, please be kind--offer them cold water, sports drinks, and maybe some Rice Krispies Treats to keep them going! They saved us so much time and left us with the energy to unpack and settle in half the time it would have taken on our own. We are so thankful we went with Sterling Interstate. I don't even want to think about moving again, but it's a relief knowing exactly who we'll call when the time comes. 10/10 recommend! read more

What amazing service! We had Robert, Jaybo, Garrett, and Izzy. They were hired to unload two 26' UHaul trucks that came from out of state and place the contents into a local storage facility in Cave Creek, Az. These guys not only worked their tails off but were extremely professional and also took some extra time to properly wrap some of our items before stacking everything into storage. Unfortunately the "other company's" crew did not properly pack our items for this trip and we had lots of damage (that's another story). Bottom line is that we were extremely appreciative of their hard work and attention to detail. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering moving. 5 stars! read more

Everything was perfect. Easy to set up, communication great, the guys that did the moving were excellent. They were careful, respectful, hardworking and courteous. I was recommended by a friend and I will definitely recommend this company to all my friends as well. A ++++++++ read more

I always use Yelp to find local businesses and I can see why this company is so highly rated. They show up right one time, prepared for everything and anything. Of course they wrapped everything with care, and it didn't feel rushed which I really appreciated because that is how things can get damaged. I had them move several large items, including my king Tempurpedic mattress & adjustable frame - this is no easy feat, and incredibly important as these things are costly and you have to know how to handle them. But these guys are true pros, and I'd recommend them to anyone needing help with any kind of move, because they have various sizes of trucks for various sizes of jobs! Shoutout to Mikey and Joseph for being really personable and easy to work with as well. read more

The best moving company I have ever worked with! The moving guys were excellent! Super nice and hard working. I'm really amazed!

They are phenomenal! I had the worst move experience coming back from Wisconsin to Arizona in 2022. I seriously had PTSD. I found Sterling and from the moment I reached out to them until the moment they left my driveway in Michigan. It was the best experience! Nanci in the office was so helpful and very responsive to any question I had. Alex did a phenomenal job walking through our house sizing up our load. Robert was the man in charge of packing the truck and he did a fantastic job! Robert and Michael delivered our furniture in Michigan a day early. They were professional kind, respectful, and fast. If I move back to Arizona, I am definitely using this company. I am beyond happy with my experience and that says a lot based on my last experience with a different company. read more

Alex, Dakota, Mike were outstanding from start to finish. I had a large, delicate muskox mount that needed to be carefully disassembled and moved into storage, and they handled it like true professionals. They showed up on time, came prepared with the right equipment, and worked efficiently as a team. What really stood out was how careful and methodical they were--making sure nothing was damaged during the process, especially with something as awkward and heavy as a full-body mount. They communicated well throughout, took their time where it mattered, and still got everything done quicker than expected. If you need movers who can handle specialty or high-value items with care and professionalism, I'd highly recommend them. Would absolutely use them again. read more

I called them to schedule a move that was several days away. I received excellent service in setting up the move. Due to the stress of the move, I actually got the date wrong and they were still able to accommodate me. They were professional and extremely courteous. After having an experience where movers didn't even show up from another company (2 men). I would definitely recommend Sterling! read more

Delivery was on time and everything looked great. We are in the middle of painting the interior and Robert and Donté coordinated moving in the items with the painting team. I highly recommend Sterling and their team! read more

Sterling Interstate was a great choice. From start to finish I initially setup my move with Nancy and then Mike & Tony showed up on the day of the move. Not only did they arrive before hand which was great but they took immediate action and got to work with wrapping up the furniture and getting stuff loaded. We had no issues from disassembling and assembling the king size bed to getting all the furniture wrapped up. They kept it fun with good conversations as well and made the move so much easier. I will definitely use them again. Thank you all! read more

The men were very cooperative and kind. They were short a truck which caused them to send three men instead of four guys. They worked their butts off. The lead man that loaded the truck was a machine. Unstoppable! read more

Exceptional service! They moved a 266 year old armoire which was very large and fragile, and worth over $5000 with the greatest of care! Everything was padded braced and moved exactly as I wanted it done. The movers were exceptionally polite and careful in everything they did! I would recommend them to everyone and will be the only ones I talk to when moving time comes again. These guys are NOT part time firefighters or anything like that! Moving furniture is what they do and all they do! Totally professional! Highly recommend Sterling Interstate to everyone, small jobs like my one piece move to moving an entire house full of furniture! Great experience!!! read more

This was our 3rd move with Sterling (They have become our "Family movers"). Again, it was a great experience from start to end. Nancy and Ron helped us to plan a relocation from South Pasadena CA to Tucson, and this was done through video calls and lots of planning as the household was filled with artwork, antiques and fragile glassware. The team arrived on time and were stellar. JB, Joseph and Blaine worked efficiently, carefully and cleanly. They checked in on any questionable issues and also stayed in great communication the entire time. Upon arrival, they unpacked and ensured that the most "fragile" items were safely placed. Nothing was broken and the family was so thrilled that all was well! No one wants to move, but it gets so much better being supported and cared about by a company like this! Thank you. read more

From the initial response to my request for a quote, Sterling Interstate was thorough and professional. Jaybo and Armando showed up early -- not just on time -- they were friendly and so efficient that I asked if I could add additional items to my move, and they accommodated. All my items were securely (and impressively) prepared for transport. Once at the new location, all items were placed where requested. Excellent work by Jaybo and Armando. There's a good reason Sterling Interstate has a 5 star rating. I don't anticipate needing movers again, but I'm saving Sterling to my contacts so I can refer them to anyone who asks. read more

An update: Sterling Interstate just finished the second move for me. Great service from beginning to end. Throughout the process of scheduling the move from Scottsdale to San Diego they stayed in touch with me and were very accommodating to my needs. The crew in this move, Dakota and Alex, were careful and methodical. Everything was moved into the house and placed exactly where I wanted. Throughout the process nothing was broken or even scratched. At the end, after they were paid and got their tip, just before they drove off they rolled the trash cans back to the curb. Great from the first phone call to when they left. read more

This company is the most caring, ultra-careful and all of the people working there are not just "sterling" they are platinum, from start to finish. They didn't damage any item, at all. Nothing was missing. I thought there was one item that was missing, and I panicked before I found out that it might be in a box where it wasn't marked. It was. I've moved over 23 times in my life and I've never had a better moving experience. Of course, I would recommend them and I have. I would definitely use them, again. You can absolutely rely on these people. Trust me, you won't do any better with anyone else. And, their costs are very reasonable. That really helps a lot during these times. read more

I spoke with Nancy! She's an absolute gem and rockstar. She answered all my questions, was very transparent and honest. By far, the best experience I have ever had with a moving company. Trust me when I say, we have moved numerous times. The way they treat you is like your family. No payment until all is done. No keeping something on the truck until you pay. Please don't look anywhere else for your moving needs. Sterling Interstate is the real deal! read more

Review for Sterling Interstate Moving Moving can be such a stressful experience, especially if you are moving out of state. I am so grateful I made the decision to call Sterling Interstate. Right from the start, I knew I was in good hands. JB was so understanding and informative. I immediately had a very comfortable feeling as I talked with him on the phone. Once I made the decision to go with Sterling, Nanci was tremendously helpful and patient each time I called with questions. Ron and his moving team were superstars when they came to load me up and later when they unloaded. The entire process went smoothly and seamlessly. I especially appreciated the great care that they gave to all of my furniture. If you are moving out of state and want outstanding help, just call Sterling Interstate. I had an outstanding experience with Sterling Interstate. My move was from PHX to AUS. I was initially skeptical as they have branded trucks for local moves but when going state to state, they use U-Haul. I was so impressed with Ron, their Ops Director, that I went all in with Interstate and am glad I did. They gave me a binding quote. They were early, both on pick-up and delivery. They were well-staffed on both ends and were very careful with my items. I would use them again without question and highly recommend. read more

We are so happy with our service from these guys! They are professional, considerate and have great communication. They also offer additional insurance if the base insurance is not as much as you'd like. The insurance they offer is a much better price than you would find through a third party company. We moved from our 3rd story apartment in Phoenix to Salt Lake City into a 2 story with a basement. They asked for clarification and ensured everything was to our liking before heading out. Also, we had no damage to the furniture. I would highly recommend this company! read more
