Ron and Mikey were everything movers should be: hard-working and tenacious, honest, careful with my property and caring of how i wanted my things arranged. I couldn't have been more pleased with my move by Sterling from Tucson to Houston. A bit pricy, yes. But worth every penny. read more

I called numerous moving companies to get a fair quote, honest answers, and a sense of trust. I was ready to give up and unwisely do the move myself, but I did one more search and found Sterling Interstate. They delivered all three of my needs. Nancy helped answer my questions and coordinate the logistics of my move. Alfredo, DeMarcus, and Marc were our amazing moving crew. These men were professional, hard working, courteous, and a blast to be around. They made what could have been a stressful move...well, not stressful. This company stands by their morals. I feel you'd make a mistake by not hiring them. read more

Sterling Interstate, is fantastic. It was a hard move to pack a house of living there for 22+ years. Sterling Interstate was the best part of the move. On time. Started packing the truck and didn't stop till every item was loaded and ready to go. Everyone was kind, professional, knew how to do there job. If I ever move I will call Sterling in a heart beat. We interviewed several companies, but Sterling offered us the best price and an assuring vibe. We told them we were planning to take a moving truck with our own goods ahead of time, and they estimated we'd still need a 26-foot truck plus a trailer. Their assessment ended up being dead-on. On moving day, the crew arrived right on time at 8am. We first met the two gentlemen who would be hauling our goods all the way to Minnesota from Arizona, then the rest of the packers. They were all incredibly nice, hardworking young men. We noticed how the more experienced workers actively mentored one of the new guys, and encouragement and praise were common through the crew. We also really appreciated that they took breaks every 2 to 1.5 hours to cool off and drink water; we were moving in late May and the day was getting hot fast. They were making an effort to work efficiently yet safely, and it showed. We'd made a big effort to pack all of our smaller goods to avoid the $35-per-box-packed fee. Therefore, we didn't have any extra fees attached. The movers handled our larger framed artwork and furniture with care, using many blankets and lots of plastic wrap. We exchanged cell phone numbers with the drivers and were told we'd get texts from them each afternoon with their locations for the night. They kept this promise. It was a great comfort to know they were making steady progress on their cross-country drive. On delivery day, they arrived a touch early--not a problem to us! The guys went to work unloading. We provided guidance as they staged everything through the new home. Once the truck was empty, they engaged in the necessary yet tedious work of reassembling furniture. They made an effort to tidy as well, picking up any plastic wrap and neatly stowing their packing blankets. Sterling Interstate did a great job. We felt like our belongings were in good hands throughout the process. read more

Did a good job from start to finish. Had some antique glasses and dishes that were not damaged.

They did a great job when I moved and I will use them again in the future. Pricing was reasonable and they didn't exceed.

Professionalism, quick, friendly - 100% would recommend them again! 2nd time using Sterling and would use them again.

I used Sterling again for another move and the service and quality were just as fantastic as the first time around. The movers are friendly and treat your belongings with such care. I called around to several places for quotes and although Sterling's prices did increase a bit since the last time I used them (inflation is a bitch!), they were still the best value. I've recommended Sterling to several friends, who have all used them, and also have only glowing reviews and feedback. So the consistency in their quality of work is definitely there! Highly recommend! read more

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of resolution regarding the missing .45 from my nightstand. Despite contacting the company and patiently waiting for a response, I was met with disbelief and no concrete solution. It is unacceptable to pay for a service only to be stolen from, and a mere apology is not sufficient. I demand a proper resolution to this matter immediately. I know these gentlemen were in my nightstand drawers, because stockings that I had purchased that I thought I misplaced mysteriously ended up in an empty second drawer of this nightstand, because they had fallen out of the drawer and fell to the bottom so when moved they opened the drawer to to put them back in....only I had taken all of the clothing items out of the bottom two drawers so that it was not as heavy but did not empty the top drawer clearly - my mistake. read more

Excellent! We were moving back to the Phoenix area after being displaced from the CA wildfires. So, needless to say we were not in our right minds with months of navigating the situation, let alone having moving suddenly foisted upon us. Luckily we were in such good hands with Sterling Interstate. We called upwards of a dozen different movers in both states and got quotes mostly in the same ballpark, but talking with JB gave me a real sense of calm. He kindly answered all of my questions and actually had some of his own to get a clear sense of what lay before him. This was especially appreciated given how lucky we were to have belongings that were able to be moved at all. Everyone I dealt with along the way was kind, clear and communicative about what to expect. On the day of the move, he and the gentleman who came with him were quick, efficient and careful with our belongings. They kept in touch throughout and when they delivered our items it couldn't have been easier. They were in and out in less than 3 hours! After the year from hell I couldn't be more thankful to have the end of our journey be handled with the utmost professionalism. read more

GREAT EXPERIENCE - easy, stress-free move from Arizona to California. From the first interaction with the office, through the estimate process, the packing, the delivery, the setup ... it was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. The moving crew was pleasant, professional and responsive. On-time every time. Each piece of furniture individually wrapped and protected meant there wasn't even a scratch on a single piece. Fragile pieces were packed appropriately. I highly recommend! read more

My friend & I were like dang every interaction was so professional...every step they asked me where I wanted things & then restacked them so they would fit better till I could unpack...if I have to move again...1st call & will probably use there packing service...I'm flipping impressed... Would leave 10 stars if I could!! Elliot and the team at Sterling Interstate were extremely helpful and dedicated to getting our move done from Mesa, Az to San Diego, CA! In the process of finding movers, I talked to many different companies and I am beyond happy that we decided to trust our guts on the value and quality that we would be getting from Elliot. It was below the price of many others and they did ONE DAY loading and unloading! Thank you so much for your help and getting us into our new home. The stress of moving is hard enough to worry about the quality of the movers that are helping out. Couldn't be happier!! Not a single scratch on any furniture or a single broken item, and we had a lot of delicate frames and pieces that we had packed. Thanks again :) read more

My wife and I called numerous moving companies here in Arizona for a move that could only take place this past Sunday. We were moving to our new home that is located less than one mile away from our current home. Most of them wanted to charge a premium for such a short move on a Sunday and being retired we are very price conscience. Not only was Sterling Interstate able to accommodate our Sunday move date, they were considerably less expensive than the two other companies who said that they could do it. JPs' crew was punctual, professional and extremely friendly. Moving can often be frustrating, stressful and downright a pain in the neck but the Sterling crew was so accommodating, diligent and helpful that they really made it a pleasure. We were quoted by Nancy for a ten hour job which they did in just seven hours and the original quote was adjusted to reflect the speed of the job. I highly recommend, Sterling Interstate, to anyone who wants or needs a professional moving company. It's not easy finding a great, honest and professional moving company. We found the company on Yelp and the clear, fast communication and discount sealed the deal. read more

Sterling did a fantastic job moving us from Scottsdale to San Diego. They gave us a competitive bid about a month before our move and then reduced it by $400 when our actual volume came in under their initial estimate. These folks are definitely worth 10 stars. Friendly, professional and efficient. Alex, Ivan and Joseph were very professional and came prepared for everything we had. I've always worried about hiring movers by the hour but these guys didn't waste any time and were super careful with our stuff. Nothing was damaged and they set up our bed, connected the washer and dryer, placed antiques where we wanted them and even hauled stuff back to our other house and our sons. Price was very reasonable and the total job came in under our budget. I almost wish we were moving again (not really) so we could hire them again. read more

Awesome moving company - so grateful to have found Elliott, Nanci & the team at Sterling Interstate!! We used them to move from the Coachella Valley in CA to our new build in Desert Hills, AZ. I wanted a local company who could it in two days and they really delivered. Elliiott drove out and looked at our new place first to make sure they could figure out unloading there & did a Zoom with me in CA to get an idea of our belongings & what our rental house looked like. His price was very good, but what really sold me was the info they sent with it - a binding estimate, copies of insurance and licenses and lots of blogs with moving tips. They were in communication throughout. On the day before the move began, Cody our driver called to let me know they were starting the drive out. And he let me know a five hours later that they were close by & would see us bright and early in the morning. They actually arrived 20 minutes early! We just had him & a helper, but they got it all loaded up and took off for AZ at lunchtime. They next morning they were again a few minutes early to our new home & worked hard to find a place to park the truck, which ended up being on the street & they dollied everything up and into our place. They put everything where we asked & set up beds (2) and a big screen TV too. Hard workers. Also, Elliott stands by everything & reimbursed us within 24 hours for some rather minor damage that our old landlords assessed. Much appreciated this & it was very minimal in nature. I would not hesitate to recommend them highly to all - they totally deserve all these 5 star reviews!! read more

Very professional movers. Wrapped everything well. Great crew. Especially liked having the same people load and unload. They are with the truck 4 days and keep in contact all the way. If the unload goes the same as the load they get 10 stars read more

We used Sterling to move us from Phoenix, AZ to Vancouver, WA. The service was amazing from start to finish. Everyone we dealt with was wonderful and professional. This company has the best business model - the same guys that loaded the truck, drove the truck and unloaded and only our furniture was in the truck. We had one item broken (which was not a big deal to us) and they quickly made amends. The price was very reasonable I can't recommend them highly enough. Sterling Interstate did an excellent job helping me with my move. My home sale occured a couple of months before my new home was ready, so I had to move twice (once into storage then a second time into my new home).
