Because of the Pandemic, many organizations are experiencing lack of staff, and, some have had to hire a makeshift staff that may not have much moving experience. The net effect can be devastating for anyone who needs a capable moving company. Creative Moving and Packing was referred to me from a friend who had used them twice for moves. And after we tried them for our own move, I can see what they come so highly recommended. ESTIMATE: A very friendly man came to the house and did a walk-through where he listed the furniture and boxes that would need to be moved. COST: I received a very reasonable quote via email a few days later. It was less than I thought I'd have to pay with a more nationally recognized moving company such as Bekins or Mayflower. MOVING OUT: When the movers arrived it was a team of 3 men and 1 woman. Not only were they energetic, and personable, they were extremely efficient. They first walked through the house, inspecting everything that was to be moved, then they put together a game plan. They were extremely careful with our framed pictures and posters, and even took the time to remove the lightbulbs from lamps. In less than 2 1/2 hours our entire house of 4000 square feet had been emptied by this wonderful crew! MOVING IN: When the furniture arrived at our new home, they immediately set to unpacking the truck and placing the furniture and boxes in the appropriate rooms that were designated for them. What impressed me the most was that nothing was broken, chipped, dropped, no walls or doorways had been blemished, which I believe is not typical of a move. Something always gets damaged. First of all I would like to give a BIG THANK YOU to Creative Moving, my wife and I reached to a company for a request for quote to move large items (list was provided) and somehow Yelp sent the request to several companies unbeknownst to me, Creative was the only company who could move us close to our original date. After speaking with Jesse, I figured 3 personnel ((subject matter experts (SME)) and one truck would be enough, (Retired Military never moved myself) I quickly found out I'm not a SME, however, the "we'll make it happen" mindset of Mirko, Jose, Jacob and Jaime reminded me of the days on active duty. My wife is one who oversees the moving to ensure our items aren't treated any kind of way, however, when she saw Mirko wrapping the first table she found me and said "Oh they know what they're doing,, they're good." she also told Jose "out of 20+ years of service and moving we never had movers wrap and care for our stuff like this." we didn't think it would take as long as it did but well after 8 hours they all were still motivated. we really appreciate their care for our items and the upbeat attitude, we never heard of Creative Moving until requesting information but I know one thing if anyone we know or come across will be requiring movers we know just the company and the team (Mirko, Jose, Jacob and Jaime, also Jaime left another job and came to assist). I'm not into giving five stars to company because everyone has room for improvement, however, we would like to say to this team, "Maintain what you're doing!" I have moved upwards of 20 times including 4 cross country moves. I've used large, nationally well known companies, as well as smaller, so I'm very well versed in the process. Nine years ago, I hired Creative moving and packing for a local move and had the best experience I had up until that point. I believe my review is still on Google from that time, so when I recently hired them again for a local move I was elated to find that same excellence. Our team consisted of Renee, DeAnthony, Miguel & Eugene. All 4 exemplified what professional movers should be. They were prompt, professional and extremely efficient. They were thoughtful and careful with my belongings--to the point that they wrapped my items for a 2 block local move better than any previous move I've ever had, including the cross country moves. I was impressed with their dynamic as well. The crew worked together beautifully with fantastic, positive attitudes and great communication with each other and with me. This was a very last minute move for my family. We recently lost our matriarch, and it's been a very difficult time. I needed to move with just a short two day notice and needed a mover that could pack and move in time to meet a crane that was going to lift some of the furniture to a second story. After calling my normal mover, who could only give me a three hour window for the crane portion, I began looking for a new mover. I called a couple of movers rated highly on Yelp and they both directed me to Creative Moving & Packing (as they could not accommodate the move time or the crane request). When I called Creative I reached Jesse who booked my move even though it meant scheduling people around to fit my needs. That was just the first of pleasant surprises. On the day of the move Marcos, Rener and Ryan all arrived perfectly on time. They brought in their supplies (blankets and shrink wrap etc.. ) and as I watched them I could tell they knew how to move and take care of my heavy delicate furniture. They were true moving professionals, (not just guys that could hustle heavy items which is what you get with some movers). In the end, the furniture was moved and set up in its new location perfectly. No broken items and not a single scratch on any of the furniture and no extra costs tacked on to the move. I've never hired movers before (and didn't really know what to expect)--but I happened to have a broken foot when our lease ended and it was time to move, so my husband and I agreed that the "new couch fund" would be better spent on some help moving this time around. It was the right choice for us and Creative Moving came through. Mirko and Adrian were, in my husband's words, "good dudes," and arrived very promptly at the promised time. We had all of the small stuff that was going with us packed and ready to go, and they were great about getting the boxes and totes down to the truck quickly and carefully. The few items of furniture we have were wrapped and taken apart when appropriate (they were put back together nicely at the new place). I did need to ask them to lower their voices going up and down the stairs (it was early and I didn't want to upset any of our now ex-neighbors), but I have to appreciate their good attitude and enthusiasm. Their energy was high throughout the move, and they actually came in under my time expectation, even with the flight of stairs and the drive from midtown Phoenix to east Mesa. I needed to find movers to help my parents downsize from 2600 sq ft to 1000 sq ft, out of state to an Assisted Living Facility. After several days of research and talking with different moving companies, I narrowed it down to two. What made me choose Creative Moving was their quick response and excellent reviews. When it was time for the walk-through, Mirko was very respectful and listened intently to my Dad's requests. When moving day came, we had 3 packers/movers named, Victor, Lorenzo, and Frank. They were respectful, quick, friendly, and professional. On the other end, we received 2 movers, Lorenzo and George. Again, they were very professional throughout, including another drop-off at my sister's house. When we were unpacking the boxes, we found all of our silver, crystal, china, and wood intact. I had an awesome experience moving from Tempe to Phoenix with help from Creative Moving & Packing. I emailed to request a quote and received a call within an hour. They were very helpful and communicative and pricing was upfront and straightforward. On moving day, I hadn't quite finished my packing. The team that showed up had extra tape for me (I was out) and were quick, efficient and friendly. My team was Benny, Adrian and Merko. All three men were incredibly professional, friendly and treated me and my things with respect. I felt entirely comfortable alone in my apartment with them (as a woman, this is very important). They provided beautiful service and many times stopped to ask where I wanted things placed and whether I needed extra help with anything. I felt like the three worked together seamlessly and got things done expertly as a result. This was my first time hiring movers, and I had an amazing experience with this group. If I move again I will use this service and specifically request Benny, Merko and Adrian, because they were outstanding. Not a thing broke or was out of place when they left. These guys are top notch. I had three guys and a truck move me from a 3bedroom apt last July. Hot as heck but those guys worked very hard and did it with a smile. My definition of working hard...they were parked and packing by 8:30am, loaded a 24 ft truck top to bottom, front to rear (right to the door full of my crap), drove to the new house, unloaded, put all my stuff where I wanted, then rearranged all the furniture in one room because my wife changed her mind, then after one more walk through I said my goodbye and it wasn't 2pm yet. Holy cow man. They were very careful with everything, wrapped it in bubble wrap, furniture pads, or shrink wrap. They even stopped me because a box was a little "rattly" In case I wanted to repack the box before they loaded it. I have a headboard from hell with way too many bolts that hold it together and the guy took it apart and put it right back together again with no assistance from me (and he did it right). Anyway, this whole experience was way ahead of the prior movers I have used. You honestly can't go wrong with this company. read more

Rene, Genone, Arturo, and Creative Moving as a whole did a fantastic job with our move! It was very easy to call and get an estimate and a couple days before our move we received a call to verify everything and let us know what time the movers would be coming. The team called half an hour before they got to our apartment and they were right on time. We all did an initial walk through of the apartment to create a game plan. They got started right away and asked if they had any questions about what was going/how we packed it/etc. If anything was damaged (like our Ikea dresser with a flimsy back), they pointed it out to us before they moved it. The team worked very efficiently and made sure everything was properly packaged/wrapped before they brought it to the truck. When we got to the new house, they unloaded the truck very carefully and put everything in its proper room. Overall, the guys were very professional and courteous to not only me but each other, plus they were all very friendly! We hired Creative Moving in part because of their Yelp reviews and in part because they were easy to work with from the very beginning. Our move was a classic downsize with our new house less than half the size of the old one. Needless to say we had a lot of furniture, some larger pieces of art and lots of "stuff." The move was over two days in brutal temperatures and high humidity. Each day we had a crew of six and every single one of the movers was a gem. Marico (never remembered to ask him how to spell his name) ran the crew each day and there never was a problem that he couldn't handle. Perhaps the biggest challenge was the heat and humidity - unfortunately our air conditioner died on the first day. The entire crew was wiped out by the end of the second day, but they remained positive and easy to work with. As far as price, we interviewed 5 movers and they were right in the middle so we felt we got a good value too. Hopefully we won't be moving in a while, but I wouldn't hesitate to use Creative again. read more

In a word...AWESOME! My wife and I just used Creative to move us from Goodyear to Surprise. From the time we received the quote to the end of the move was painless and professional. They quoted on the high side and clearly explained how and why. Our final bill was well below the high side scenario. Mirko, Berone, Willy, Frank and David were phenomenal. My family has moved many times, so we have quite a bit of experience with movers and moving companies--let me say that they are definitely *not* all alike. The team we had from Creative Moving & Packing--Mirko, Marcos and Jayro--were on-time, efficient, and I must say, happily doing their jobs and doing it well. We loved their upbeat and professional manner throughout the entire 4-hour move. Their job was to move two, separate 1-bedroom apartments in one complex into one, 3-bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor in another complex. They knew what they were doing and it showed. We thanked them profusely because never, in all our many moving experiences, have we had everything go so well. By the way, we chose this company because of the excellent reviews they have on Yelp. We used Creative to move across town. The guys showed up right on time to our place, and wasted no time getting to work. They sent 3 guys and a truck. One guy stayed in the truck to pack it, and the other two never stopped moving to load our stuff. They brought blankets, packing tape, shrink wrap and were very quick to wrap things and move them out to the truck. Despite the heat that June day (114 degrees F), they worked non-stop and got the job done (2 bed, 2 bath) in about 5.5 hours. Throughout the move, their office and the 3 movers were very easy to work with and easy to talk to. I shopped around for movers, who all offered to send 2 movers and a truck for a little less money per hour, but I feel like Creative's tactic of 3 movers was much more efficient and quicker and was thus the same if not cheaper in the end than if we had just 2 movers. Where do I start? From the quote I received from Jesse, which was the most thorough, to the scheduling with Nobel (not sure on spelling of her name), to the move itself, everyone was so great to work with! The moving team showed up when I expected them to, and they were efficient and organized. We finished in exactly the amount of time I was quoted. And they were pleasant and so enjoyable to work with. There was no aspect of this moving experience that left me concerned, frustrated, stressed, and that is everything that you could ask for in a moving company. At the end the day the movers were asking me if there was anything else I needed, if there was anything else they could help with, and one was even singing as the day wound to a close. Probably one of the best moving experiences I've had. The "& Packing" in their name really shows - they took excellent care of my stuff and there wasn't one thing that was broken or scratched. The movers were very friendly and courteous and we even ended up having lunch together on their break and had a few laughs. As a side note, I have a huge 78" flat screen TV that when I setup in my new place wouldn't turn on. At first I thought it was something that they did so when I called to see if they would pay for the repair they said "no problem, just send us then invoice." It turned out to be a faulty power supply that wasn't even their fault so naturally I let them know that they were off the hook, but it's nice to know that they were willing to pay for any damages with no questions asked- I know a lot of moving companies would have given me the runaround if I had approached them to pay for any damages. read more
