Before my local move on October 21, I researched many moving companies. The stellar reviews for Creative Moving & Packing kept them at the top of my list. They also had (in my opinion) good prices. We reserved a 26 foot truck and 3 movers. We moved out of a 2-story, 2400 square foot house into another 2-story large house. We also added a stop to a storage unit for my daughter's furniture. One of the movers, Cameron was the one in charge/lead guy. He was amazing. He explained everything, ensured our furniture was wrapped expertly, and carried gently. He made sure that any worries we had were put to rest. The other two movers- Dom and Louis were wonderful. This team never stopped moving...up and down stairs, heavy items, a million boxes were all perfectly loaded into the truck. It was such a relief to have this team help us. At our new home, they made sure to place every piece of furniture in the exact spot we wanted. They did not leave until everything was perfect. We used Creative Moving to help us do an in-state move. We used their packing, loading and unloading service for the entire house. They took everything minus perishable food, live plants and chemicals (cleaning products under the sink). They even took things out in the yard and garage. The positives: The moving team was very professional, friendly and easy to work with with. They were on time and packed everything and unloaded everything in a very timely manner. They did a walk through with us and understood our needs and concerns. They made a lot of effort to pack things safely and carefully. Nothing was lost or misplaced. Things were labeled and placed in the appropriate rooms in the new house. They had special boxes for odd items like paintings, TV's and clothes on hangers. They also did a walk through with us before they left for the new house checking each cabinet. The process was quick and stress free for us, they took care of everything. The negatives (minimal): They did mistake two real plants for fake ones; one died. As I mentioned above, they were very careful with art, but we found one framed piece of art (24x18) randomly placed in a box with other stuff with no protection. Unfortunately, this art was damaged; the front was scratched. Also, there were a few random things left behind mostly in the garage. We were going to go back to the house the following day to clean up so this wasn't a huge issue, but if this was going to be our last time in the house and it was left behind or left for us to stuff in our already packed cars, it might have been a bigger issue. All in all great service and would highly recommend. It is a little on the pricey side, but if you can swing it, do it! The amount of ease and stress this took away is just about priceless. Again, the crew was great, very easy to work with and professional. The negatives were very minimal, just keep in mind to leave some space in your own vehicle to take some stuff for things they can't take, accidently leave behind or for things super fragile or sentimental. read more

We moved from a 3300 square ft, two-story home with a large barn-style shed that were jam packed with "stuff", and they sent a team of 8 people to load the trucks. They did it in just under 5 hours, and were one of the happiest crews I've ever seen. They were focused on their work and they seemed to enjoy the whole process. After the walk through to see what had to be moved they immediately went to work, saying, "Never go back empty-handed!" They lived up to that motto completely. At our new home it was the same. We now have an inclined driveway and they had to move everything uphill. Not one complaint! Just "poetry in moving." We haven't found any damage to our belongings. Needed a local move from north Glendale to Maricopa and found Creative Moving on Yelp. They had some great reviews so we decided to call. Jesse helped us with questions and provided a quote. Everything seemed very reasonable so we decided to schedule. We received a few confirmations prior to our pickup including a phone call two days prior. This is the most fantastic moving company I've ever used in my entire life!!! They were absolutely flawless under the direction of team lead, Reneé, with Joseph, Anthony, and darn it, forgot #4. But these guys worked together seamlessly. We had to move our 91 yr old aunt out of her independent 5 room casita, into a 2 room assisted living apartment. I had gotten all the details lined up a head of time, and pulled out those couple important boxes of items for immediate use ahead of time, but from there I explained how I wanted it all to be done, and BAM! They were on it! I simply cannot rave enough! They asked questions as they were packing as there were 2 different places things were going so they got it right. And their professionalism was again, sheer perfection! They were kind and understanding of the stressful situation, and expeditious in making it all happen. I've had movers that moved the boxes so fast and were dumped on the wrong side of the house or left downstairs when it's marked for an upstairs location etc. Not with this company. They ask w/o rushing, they packed my marble toppers expertly, along with our flatscreen tvs and other fragile items. They were dressed uniformly and were professional and approachable. We needed a moving company to move my 87 year old mother across town to have her closer to us. I called and messaged several companies to get quotes and information about their services. Creative Moving & Packing was very quick to respond with sufficient information to make them the company to do the move for us. Jesse was an excellent communicator with the initial contact and then with my follow up questions - so I contracted them and scheduled the move. The communication/updates were excellent, they confirmed the move a week prior (call and email/text) and then again as we got closer to the date - the morning of, the team made contact with me (Renee) to let me know they were on their way...arrived as promised! Once the team (crew of 3) arrived they quickly got to work and packed everything accordingly with proper care. Moved out and arrived at the new address promptly and again got the unloading, unwrapping and reassembling done efficiently and with great care. Nothing was damaged, lost, or broken...a pristine job on the move. This is a company that I would highly recommend and return for any move needs I may have in the future. We did have an oops with the billing which has taken longer than needed to, to get corrected. A 10% discount was proposed at the time of booking and included in the contract...however the discount was not applied to the final bill. I emailed and called and was told they'd take care of it. I have waited a week and nothing, no call back and no adjustment to my credit card. You would have been a 5 star if this was handled properly and efficiently....I've gone ahead and disputed the billing with my credit card company at this point. Still a good company and I would use them again...however be more diligent come time to pay. UPDATE: I received a call from the owner (Jesse) immediately after posting this, seems the credit was issued for the 10% discount, however the bank has not processed yet and there was to have been a communication to me that this was occurring.....OK I trust this information and therefore amend my review and rating. I had some of the worst service I've had with any mover from Creative. I hired them because of past experience but their service has deteriorated significantly. They took a deposit from me and then when they got to my apartment saw a carpet beetle, claimed it's a bed bug and just left me hanging. Their own pest control guy and another third-party guy that I called for an inspection literally laughed and said they look nothing alike and gave me a signed report. And instead of doing the right thing and rescheduling me asap, they have kept my deposit and left me hanging. Now I'm getting no response for my deposit and had to hire new movers last minute for no fault of mine. I'm never working with these guys again. I'm down almost $500 just for their deposit and the inspection because of them. Completely unprofessional. I had signed them on for my move and upwards of 6 months of storage in their warehouse with monthly payments from me. They don't seem to care about customers or getting more business. Replying to business' reply: You have not been responding directly to me and I am still waiting on the refund. You are standing by your guy's unprofessional and completely incorrect assessment and exaggerating here too. As I said, your own pest control guy and another inspected my apartment and gave the all clear. The apartment property management company also routinely inspects units and sends routine pest control at least every other month. I also request it at more frequent intervals. Your response has been very poor not just to me but also the pest control guy you recommended tried calling you directly to give the all clear and he also did not get a response. Thoroughly unprofessional. I called another high-end moving company last minute and they had no issue moving and storing my stuff after looking through the apartment. If you don't want to own up to your error here then at least give me my refund and we can not bother interacting again. read more

With Creative Movers it's not a matter of money, although it helps but of a satisfying moving experience for all. One more thing and that's that these boys move the wealthy elite from one million dollars mansion to another, they for training and security purposes have ongoing video taping of each move and have a flawless record without incident. I tip my hat to them because the moving industry is hard work especially here in Phoenix Arizona's extreme temperatures, teenage mutant ninja pollens, and ongoing predatory opportunistic people that have to be taken into consideration always adjunctive to safety measures. Since Covid seems like nobody wants to work but again I tip my hat to these guys because not only do they work, they work hard in harsh conditions, and they make it work together as a team for their customers. This company saved my sanity. I had to suddenly move within 2 weeks and I scoured Yelp to try to find a company that wouldn't cost me my firstborn child on top of the brand new mortgage I decided would be fun to have for the rest of my life. I actually went with Last Mile Moving first as they were the cheapest, but they ended up canceling on me twice, 2 days in a row, at the time they were supposed to arrive with lame excuses one after another. Setting aside my murderous rage, I immediately called other companies who wanted to charge me over $1k and could not help me until the next week. By chance, Creative was available the next day and their prices are what I could consider mid-tier, but definitely not as expensive as other companies I called. Justin and the crew were fast and efficient. They helped me move some old furniture to the curbside for pick up on top of moving everything else. When all was said and done, nothing was broken because they really did take care of everything from wrapping the furniture, making sure each lightbulb was taken off, picture frames were boxed up, etc. They even went above and beyond and asked if they could help fix an old recliner whose lining was exposed and had nails sticking out with their own tools (a sentimental item, albeit a sentimental hazard for most of our lives). In the end, they moved a 3 bed & 2 bath house in 4 of the easiest hours of my life (including travel time) without breaking the bank. George and his crew were unbelievable! imagine this scenario: you have a pre planned moving date but are currently out of country on vacation when contractor notices a water leak in the ceiling. while out of the country we mitigated the leak and called Creative Moving and spoke to Nova and jesse to see if they could move the date up. They moved some crews around to make it work to completely pack (a totally unprepared / unpacked house) and move to a new house over two days. I never had the pleasure to meet George in person but he was in constant contact with me via phone and text. He even took photos and consulted with me about furniture that was damaged for a future insurance claim, so we didn't move any water logged stuff to the new house and got photo evidence of the damage. He and his team packed and labeled everything so when we get back into town and to the new house it will be a breeze to unpack, and everything in its predetermined new room! That said, the reason I'm giving the company 2-stars is because the guys broke a water line when they unscrewed my backyard hose... and they didn't tell me! They just shut off all the water which caused plants to die and dirty toilets not to flush. These movers need better training to handle this kind of situation.
