First off, the workers get 5 stars, it's the company that I'm giving 2 stars to. My son used them for a local move and right off the bat, Jordan and Brandon got to work. They removed 1 TV from the wall and wrapped 2 others. They also wrapped a mattress and a sectional. Kudos to this team. Now, as a company they nickel and dime you for everything. You get a quote on the phone for one price but when it is all said and done, it's double. The largest piece of furniture was a 2-pc sectional. They only had to wrap 3 TV's and use their boxes. A pure rip-off if I can say the least because they aren't even legit TV boxes. At most they're left-over cutouts from other cardboard. Also, we had everything packed up and moved a lot ourselves. I say with any moving company, do your extensive homework and get that price quote in writing. We were all shocked when we heard the price. Got my initial quote and after comparing with others, decided to hire this company, so paid my deposit over the phone based upon that quote. Phone Confirmation said 2 guys instead of the 3 quote, so I negotiated the price change. Paperwork came thru with their initial quote. And, you gotta read the fine print to find out about their extra charges. The guys showed up on time and just had to load the already packed boxes, but I had to keep reminding them that most of the boxes contained glass / breakables and to be careful. They finished the job after many reminders to be careful, and I paid my inflated bill on the spot. I have yet to get copies of anything I signed or paid and its been 2 days - even after asking. I have concluded that 1. no one knows what others in the office are doing or saying, 2. no one writes down what is verbal, 3. the movers don't know what the words 'fragile' or 'breakable' mean and I'm sure I will find out more about that later when the boxes get unpacked, 4. there is absolutely no reason to not receive copies of signed paperwork. read more

The company wants to reimburse $265 after taking a $175 insurance fee. That sounds a bit off. So, basically: don't pay for the insurance and you might break even. Day After Move: A few items were left at the house and I wanti notified. Three items were broken in the move. One item was reimbursed over the time of the move and two items I'll need to file a claim for and have to wait a period of time to have replacements. I was very clear on how I wanted the office desk wrapped up. There's a lot of work to get things back in a working state. One of the broken items was for the desk. Had I not been so explicit on the need for the desk to be on working order for me to work tomorrow, it wouldn't matter so much. The office speakers are just sad. The movers themselves were polite and professional, but unfortunately, this company's business practices are extremely misleading. When I booked my move, I was told there would be a flat fee for the movers' travel and that the rest would be billed hourly. That turned out to be completely untrue. On top of the fees I was quoted, I was charged separately for gas and an outrageous $80 to wrap just one item. Meanwhile, my white couch--left unprotected--ended up covered in black handprints that I had to clean myself. My stainless steel refrigerator was also badly scratched while they struggled to get it through my front door. When I called to discuss the lack of price transparency, the representative I spoke with was extremely rude and dismissive. She refused to acknowledge that I was never informed about these additional charges. When I asked her to review the recording of my initial booking call, she claimed she "couldn't access that" and then transferred me to a closed office in Texas. I want to make a formal complaint for ALL MY SONS moving. 1st of all, the 2 guys were very polite. The positive review ends there. They were extremely slow. Wasting so much time "finding" the 2 places WITH a gps, one of my mom's loved items (a huge piece of marble she's had inlayed in a bureau from 1967 broke in half. She has moved this item many times over the years and it has stayed perfect ! After they left I tried to open a drawer in the hutch and it was jammed with all the silverware that was in a silverware holder you would put in a counter drawer. JAMMED into the top and sides of the drawer along with other items in that drawer. I had to pry it open and forks and knives were jammed into the top of the drawers, intertwined with each other and could not get them out at all. A maintainance man had to come to my momma 's assisted living to pry the silverware out with plyers. How could this happen ? It had to roll over in the truck!!! Luckily it was wrapped in a blanket and tape! The price was 400 more than original quote ! (Said the hallway was really long) it took them 4 1/2 hours to move a couch, bed, 2 bureaus tv 2 lamps nightstand and two living room chairs. Two dining chairs and maybe 6boxes. ) most of the boxes and I filled my own car with ! Also one of the trips back to the apt they smelled like weed. I'm sorry but this was as elderly assisted living and that was inappropriate along with one of them facetiming his girlfriend most of the time while moving . I even stated to him " don't you need 2 hands???" Now I have heard from NO ONE about the "claim" they said they put in for the marble piece... trying to call this company's crazy. I am writing to file a formal complaint against All My Sons Moving Company regarding an incident that occurred on April 29, 2026. I scheduled a move with this company and was provided with an estimate of $343. However, after loading my belongings, the movers informed me that the total cost had increased to $671--nearly double the original estimate--without any clear or reasonable justification. The situation escalated when I questioned the unexpected price increase. The movers refused to unload my belongings unless I agreed to pay the higher amount. When I did not immediately agree, they proceeded to dump my items in a parking lot and left the premises. This left my personal property unattended and at risk of damage or theft. Worst experience! Do not use these guys. A few weeks ago, they only moved 2/3 of my stuff without letting me choose which stuff would make the move despite charging me for a second truck that they didn't use and refused to pack. (They told me they would return to pack the rest of my goods but stopped responding.) So they packed part of my sofa, but not all of it. They packed my dining room table and chairs but not the leaf that is a necessary part of it. They packed my outdoor furniture but not the cushions. The list goes on of the incomplete parts of my belongings that they moved, with zero care, rendering the items useless without the complete set. Then they refused to communicate with me. The majority of my furniture that did get on the truck was so poorly packed and was so damaged on the trip that the Ohio office had a huge pile of completely damaged/destroyed goods (like my daughter's pottery barn desk) that they didn't even move into my house. I moved from AZ to OH, and the OH All my Sons office was great. The OH office was SHOCKED at how poorly the AZ office packed my belongings, as so much were completely destroyed. I saw good reviews online but now that I'm looking deeper, I see that the AZ office has a pattern of this. Note that the administrator, Anna, was VERY communicative and great to work with up until the actual move, which went horribly, and then she too refused to respond. Do not be fooled by what look like positive reviews or by their kindness before the move. They are beyond deceptive and awful. On a sentimental note, my husband died, leaving me with 4 young kids, hence the cross country move. The OH office was shocked to find our sentimental belongings and photos scattered all over the moving truck. When they initially refused to pack my remaining items (despite my paying for a second full truck that was sitting in my front yard), they left me scrambling to transport items such as my kids' teddy bears with their dead dad's heartbeat and his actual clothes. This company shows zero regard for your personal belongings! They have outrageous charges (like for a second truck they refuse to pack), and their communication is horrendous. I will not be using this moving company ever again. The movers are intentionally slow-paced (as they get paid by the hour), lackadaisical, scatter-brained, and make you feel like you are inconveniencing them when you direct them where to go. The first and most aggravating part of the experience with All My Sons was the extremely slow pace that the movers went. When they first arrived, they told me that I was their only move on the schedule for that day. I immediately thought to myself, "I sure hope this doesn't drag out or slow down the way that they move." Sure enough, it did! It literally took them 4 hours to put my 2 bedroom ground floor apartment (which was already in boxes minus needing to take apart 2 simple beds) onto the truck. When I had previously moved from the same size apartment, it took that moving company only 1 hour to load! I had anticipated a 4 hour total which would include unloading at the new house. It was a 7.5 hour ordeal. One of the movers was constantly on his phone and the 2nd mover would keep disappearing onto the truck after bringing with him only 2 couch cushions. I went out to the truck a few times to see what was taking him so long, and he would just be standing in the truck, doing nothing, acting like he was lost. Once we got to the new house, I had to babysit all of their moves. They were placing boxes that were clearly marked "kitchen" in the master bathroom on the opposite side of the house. I eventually had to step in and start moving boxes myself in hopes to speed up the process. I had to remind them 4 times that my sons bed was still not put together. After I had paid the bill and they were on their out, I glanced in my sons room one last time to see that the bed was still NOT put together. The one mover had told me that he does this job for fun. But he seemed like he was doing everything but having fun. He acted irritated and disgruntled his whole time on the job. Moving is already extremely stressful. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company in order to save yourself the additional headache and fortune$$$$$$. read more

When asked if they could move the truck, I was told they could not and then he insulted my ability to drive when I pressed for him to move the large truck. They did not. The one star is the lack of communication and hidden costs. The movers were great and in was a 2 bed 2 bath fully boxed up ready to go boxes stacked 4 or 5 high. When I scheduled it I was told 240 an hour. I work 2 jobs Google review thousands and they were great so you pay for what you get. I didn't receive the call to go over when they would arrive so called and was told about more fees 15 percent gas surcharge which I was moving less then a mile so thought 15 percent of the drive to me and back and the mile to my new place and told shouldn't be more then 50 for packing stuff and told I was 1st move and I'd get a call between 8 and 930 when the movers were on their way which was a lie I was 2 nd and the movers got to me at 115 PM then found out the 15 percent is 215 dollar 15 percent of the whole total WTF nothing I could do then charge 180 in supplies and 5 hours plus the mandatory hour totally 1562 for a 2 bed 2 bath less then a mile move everything fully packed up 1st floor to 2nd floor. This review is intended to be as bad as I can possibly make. I am gnarled with anxiety as I write this, even 4 months after the move. They were unprofessional. They damaged my property. They damaged elevators in both buildings. They got into shouting matches with other tenants of each building. They angered a total of 6 people, including the managers at both buildings, both of whom called me to complain about them during the move. They had very dilated pupils, kept wiping their noses, and talked at a very fast pace for 7:45a. They ignored policies at both buildings, while they argued about policies at both buildings. They parked in the wrong spots at both buildings. I had only 6 items to move. I hired All My Sons Moving Company in Queen Creek, AZ, and while the move started out well, the experience quickly turned into a nightmare. The team was initially careful, loading boxes into the POD strategically so that everything would fit. However, halfway through, they told me the bedroom set wouldn't fit. I told them to leave it behind and just focus on the boxes. Less than 10 minutes later, they claimed they had made a mistake and said everything--boxes, furniture, and the bedroom set--would fit after all. When they finished, I saw that many boxes and furniture pieces were left out. When I questioned this, the team lead accused us of adding more items during the move, which was absolutely not true. I asked why they loaded the bedroom set if they didn't think it would all fit, and they blamed us. From that point on, they started hastily throwing items into the POD without care. Items were stacked at odd angles and some were literally tossed in. In 115-degree heat, we spent 3-4 hours unloading and repacking everything ourselves. In the end, we were able to fit almost everything--including the bedroom set they said wouldn't fit--except for one small bench. I called immediately to file a complaint and was asked for photos, which I sent. I never heard back. I called multiple times and was transferred between departments, given the runaround, and even hung up on several times. Eventually, they offered me a $100 refund--an insult considering what we went through. This was the worst service I have ever received from a moving company. The manager Robert Dominguez at the Mesa Arizona location has the WORST customer service of anybody I have ever hired. I have used this company many times. The movers are great and I've always had a good experience with them Directly. But the management is terrible. For my last move I had called and discussed the scope of the job and the price with Somebody on the phone. I paid the deposit but never got a confirmation. So I called the next day to ensure I was on the schedule and was reassured that I was. I had given my beginning location and ending location but not the storage unit location as I had previously done that when the guys arrived. On moving day no movers showed up. I called to ask what was going on and Mr.Dominguez was so unbelievably rude. He lied and said I had not given him any information but then later was able to tell me the two addresses I had previously given. He spoke over me and was so rude. In the end he charged me $600 extra dollars to get movers to come out. He laughed at me when I asked to speak to his boss and told me "good luck" stating that Mr. Peterson, the owner of the company, doesn't actually care about his customers. Drivers told me my $100 would be refunded after charging my card the full invoice. When I called to complain, I was told the $100 was entered as a tip. They didn't seem to care when I said that was fraud because I gave each driver cash and specifically spoke with the lead mover about the issue. Despite all the bad reviews, we had an excellent experience with "Mike and Mike" moving our granddaughter. "M&M" were prompt, respectful, friendly and extremely conscientious and competent, taking care to wrap most of the furniture and taking care to work together to get around tight areas with large bulky pieces. As far as pricing, we paid $868 against a quote of " $300- $400" that was quoted to our Grandaughter so this does validate the reviews citing erroneous at best and deceptive at worst) pricing issues. So, at the end of the day, I give Mike and Mike 5 stars for their part but 2 stars to the company re: misleading pricing. Horrible. The two guys disappeared for two hours, supposedly got lost. The storage unit was literally half a mile from house! I tried calling them multiple times and they never answered my call! Damaged a lot of the furniture, scraped the door jam, major stuff marks on refrigerator handles, dented washer, layed a brand new tv credenza on side on patio and scaped up, broke door jam because they didn't wrap it. They are paid hourly and managed to work slow and disappeared. I have time they left storage unit! They have a truck load of moving blankets and did not use one resulting in damage of multiple items. Had the audacity to ask me for tip and review! There was no option for negative stars, so I had to give it a 1. The company scheduled our move for the morning and said that their normal start time was 7-7:30 but we could pick our start time. I texted to say I wanted 9:30 and they confirmed by text. Apparently, though, "Scott" was in the corporate office in Dallas and did not let anyone in the Phoenix office know. So, instead of 9:30, a crew arrived at 7:00. When I talked to someone in the local office, we rescheduled for a 12-4 start time. In light of that, we rescheduled other service providers at our new house and took some things to the new house because of the delay. Then, at 9:15, I get a call saying that a crew would be at the house at 9:30 instead of the noon start time to which we had agreed. At that point--because of TWO breaches of our agreement--I cancelled. And now they are unwilling to refund my $100 deposit. So this lawyer may be headed to small-claims court. This is very consistent with other reviews. Buyer beware. Following up to Marie's response: Marie, everyone I have talked to has dismissed the problem and basically said it's my fault for cancelling even though All My Sons messed up twice. I don't trust the company and will proceed accordingly if I do not get a refund. The company did no work. you just messed up my day and charged me $100 for the inconvenience. This is the second time we have used All My Sons. The crew of 3 was fabulous!! Ambrose, Isaac and forgive me I don't remember the third gentleman. As soon as they arrived, they introduced themselves and we started talking about some special requests. They took care of the requests and we had an additional request once we arrived at the new place. They took care of it and all was good.
