We used Camelback Moving for a local move and they were outstanding. The crew showed up right on time, introduced themselves, and got to work immediately. They carefully wrapped our furniture, protected floors and doorways, and handled everything with real care. Nothing was damaged, even the fragile items and the big pieces that usually get scratched. They were efficient without rushing, finished faster than we expected, and stayed professional and friendly the whole time. Communication leading up to the move was clear, the price matched what was quoted with no surprise fees, and the whole process felt a lot less stressful than previous moves we've done. Highly recommend Camelback if you're looking for reliable, careful movers. Would definitely use them again. read more

Had a seamless experience with Camelback Moving from beginning to end. It's a super organized operation. I love that they give the option to have 2 or 3 movers and having 3 guys made my move a lot faster! The movers themselves were great, no complaints. I also felt the price was pretty on par compared to other quotes I received in Phoenix. I would definitely use this company again. read more

They did an outstanding job! I know the owner and specifically didn't tell them because I didn't want them to act any differently, and I wasn't disappointed. They handled everything with care and were very efficient with their time. I definitely recommend them. read more

This is my second time using this company and they are fantastic! Upfront pricing, on time, and professional. This last move was a rush deal but my movers Jesus and Adrian showed up on time and got right to work. They were amazing and even had some great jokes! They took the stress out of my move. After researching several moving companies in Phoenix, I chose Camelback Moving because their website clearly outlined their services, rates, and availability--it made the decision easy. The experience exceeded my expectations. The two movers, Marcos and Jermaine, were outstanding--kind, accommodating, and extremely thorough. They came fully prepared with all the right tools and took great care to protect my home. They laid down a runner to keep floors clean and even padded the doorways to prevent any damage. What impressed me most was how strategic and efficient they were in both packing and unloading the truck. Everything was handled with care and professionalism from start to finish. I truly hope I don't have to move again anytime soon--but if I do, Camelback Moving will be my first call. read more

We just moved from Portland Oregon to Goodyear Az. Had a very full 26 ft box truck with lots of fragile heavy mirrored furniture, boxes and stuff that didn't deserve to be moved. Jesus, Aryon and Michael were on time and ready to work. They treated our contents with respect and me as well. They got done fast and were a pleasure to work with. I give them a 10. They are Black Belt movers. read more

We had an outstanding experience with Camelback Moving from start to finish. The entire process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. The representative who handled our quote was responsive, clear, and thorough -- no surprises, just honest communication and great follow-through. On moving day, the three team members who handled our move were exceptional. They were punctual, respectful, hardworking, and took great care with our belongings. Everything was wrapped properly, handled carefully, and moved efficiently. read more

My partner and I used Camelback Moving in the summer for a very short distance move to a second floor location. We were able to transport most of our fragile belongings on our own, but we needed help with bigger items like furniture and heavier boxes. I appreciated the team's communication with me before the move so they and I know what to prepare. Something I did enjoy was that their rates are very transparent whereas with other companies you have to call for a quote. Perhaps we could have found cheaper services elsewhere, but we preferred the convenience. Following advice, we opted for 3 movers, so one can work on wrapping the furniture in protective wrap while the others moved boxes and ready to move furniture. They were able to finish the job in under 2 hours so that we didn't have to pay the additional time rates. We had a few smaller issues with how some items were moved. Despite a couch being wrapped in protective wrap, it was scraped across the floor and now the fabric is damaged. We were also told prior that we could keep the complementary wardrobe boxes for our clothing, but then were told by the head mover that we needed to return them. We had to dump all of our clothes out onto our bed, so that they could get the box back. Finally, I wasn't aware of this, but they were supposed to also offer rolled carpet service to protect the flooring in our new place. They didn't do this, but thankfully the flooring was not damaged with the items being moved in. I only found out after we received a follow up call from the company to make sure everything was done correctly. It makes me wonder if the carpet would have helped with all of the dirt being tracked in from their shoes :') Overall, I found Camelback Moving pretty easy to work with. I was glad my partner and I opted to move fragile and precious items separately. I appreciate too that they worked with us for our heavy furniture in the heat. I would recommend them if you need help moving bigger items that are not precious. read more

I secured valuables in a closed container inside a small closet in my home prior to move in. During the move in, one of the movers was briefly left alone in the room where the closet was located. The movers had no reason to access this closet or any of the items in it. The mover left alone in this room is the only other person who had direct access to this closet during the time when the valuables were placed there. I never located these valuables after the move. I later connected the dots and also realized that the behavior of this mover had been suspicious. I documented this information in a police report. Never trust a stranger alone in your home. read more

Absolutely awful experience. Camelback Moving Company is every homeowner's nightmare disguised as a "professional" service. They were hired to handle our belongings during a water mitigation project, and from start to finish, it was a complete disaster. They took everything out of our home during a flood - much of it unnecessarily, and when it was time to bring it back, they didn't follow through on a single promise. Boxes were mislabeled or not labeled at all, items were dumped haphazardly in the garage and random rooms, and nothing was put back where it belonged -- exactly the opposite of what they guaranteed. The manager, Kris, gave me endless reassurances that everything would be handled carefully, that he took photos, that our home would be restored "just like before." That turned out to be complete nonsense. I'm left with a mountain of unmarked boxes, damaged furniture, and zero accountability from the company. This is a careless, disorganized, and completely unprofessional. They make big promises to win your trust and then vanish when it's time to take responsibility. Do yourself a huge favor -- stay far away from this company. If you value your belongings, your sanity, or your time, don't let them anywhere near your home. read more

I recently hired Camelback to move my parents from AZ to the Midwest. I spent a considerable amount of time researching moving companies, and I'm glad I found Camelback. From the first call to the delivery of my parents' household goods the Camelback team was professional and extremely helpful. Anthony did an outstanding job to walk me through the process and steps, to include insurance options and how to manage everything from out of state. David led a great moving team and managed the entire move. The team was friendly, professional, and timely. My parents' things arrived right on time and in the same condition as they were packed. The price was competitive and reasonable for the amount of goods and the distance. I was extremely happy with the entire experience. We needed to store the contents of a 4 bedroom house during renovations due to a water leak. Mary in the front office was amazing every time we needed to ask questions or anything. When we were ready to move everything out of the pod storage and into a storage unit across town, the crew, lead by Jesus, along with Matt and Nick were awesome. They were extremely attentive as we worked on placing items the way we wanted them placed. They were professional, friendly, energetic, and pleasant to work with.
