This month we needed someone to do a crosstown move for our son. Two Men's quote was extremely high so I researched a bit and found the stellar reviews of Just-In Time Moving. Since their quote was almost half the price (!) we decided to give them a try. You wonder if paying less means inferior service or other problems. That wasn't the case at all. Communication was great. Eric and Miguel showed up right on time (one of those dreadful 110° Phoenix heat advisory days) and worked quickly and carefully. We were very happy to have found this company and are pleased to say they'll be our local movers going forward.

Just-In Time Moving truly helped me out of an emergency situation…read more I had originally hired another moving company, Not Your Husband Moving, and ended up in a terrible situation where I was billed for more than double the estimated hours for the move into storage and the move was not completed as originally estimated. I needed to get my household goods out of their storage quickly to stop the situation from getting worse. Just-In Time Moving was gracious enough to fit me into their schedule last minute. Their office was communicative, their estimate was thorough and clear, and the final bill matched what they estimated. The crew showed up on time, communicated throughout the day, and was professional, careful, and kind. This was not a simple move. They had to unload my furniture and belongings from storage crates, unwrap items that had been wrapped by the prior mover, take care with everything, rewrap my furniture, load it, transport it, and unload it into my new storage unit. They completed the entire job in 7.5 hours. By comparison, the prior mover had tried to bill me 16.5 hours for the move into storage alone. Just-In Time Moving did a fantastic job, and I am extremely grateful they were willing to help me on short notice. After the experience I had before them, their professionalism, clear communication, and honest billing meant everything. My advice to anyone hiring movers: read all reviews carefully, do not take online ratings at face value, check whether the company is listed with moversaz.org, review BBB ratings, and read how the company responds to 1-star and 2-star reviews. I wish I had done more research before hiring the first company. I am very thankful I found Just-In Time Moving when I did.

Jeff and his crew (Roy, Matthew & Aidan) came up with a solution for me that was very workable. They came out 2 days before the move and completely loaded up a U-Haul. They came back 2 days later with their truck and loaded up the balance of my property, moved both trucks to my new location and unloaded both. These guys worked like dogs, but very efficient and friendly dogs! They were extremely careful with my stuff, and the only thing that got broken was a piece that I transported myself. I should have let them do it. They came in under what their original time / cost estimate was. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND these guys and God forbid, I should ever have to move again, they would be my first call. Thanks guys, you were GREAT!!

Not sure if it went through, he just called me insane. This is the kind of man that calls himself an owner of a business. Look back at past reviews of how he has gaslighted people. It is so awful that he charges people for this kind of so-called service. He harasses, intimidates, and even calls people names, including my son who he says it won't go well for and if he doesn't remove... And threatens. The booking process and security deposit was easy. The day of the move, the movers, Eduardo and Jamal, contacted me to let me know they were on their way and loaded and unloaded the truck quickly and efficiently, without causing any damage to my belongings. B Line was a good value for the money, especially considering how expensive in general it is when you're doing a move from one city to another; would definitely recommend.

Not only are Kris & Jim extremely personable, but they are well versed with what it takes to run a secure site. Further, they continually attend meetings/seminars with regard to storage site security and best practices. As a somewhat picky customer, I had questions as to why there were application steps that seemed beyond what I had run into at previous storage facilities, but once explained to me, I was totally on board. Basically, if you're a dirt-bag, don't even bother applying. Jim & Kris do an excellent job of filtering the clientele to limit rentals only to upstanding citizens. This is extremely reassuring. Especially if you don't check your storage site very often. I've only very recently ended my storage rental (no longer needed the extra space), but even the check-out process was as smooth as can be. If I find myself needing storage again in the future, I will definitely be looking for Jim & Kris! In my over 10 years at this facility, I never had any issues, and with the units being climate controlled, I never had to worry about my trinkets and heirlooms baking in the AZ heat. Additionally, the coded entry and exit system also seems efficient and maintains accountability. Top notch peace of mind at a very reasonable rate ...

Update: I wish I could say better, but even the sudden "change of heart" attitude I got from the…read more[manager?] woman that usually tends the administrative end upon trying to vacate still left me feeling like this ended sourly. I had called a month ago to notify my card for auto-debit has been updated, and also to give ample notice of the date I'd be vacating. No prob. Until I get a voicemail saying my payment was declined and I was now charged a $15 late fee. I called to clear the issue- I was met with quite a hostile response. After keeping calm & trying to reason, I got the fee waived. And I appreciate it, even though I do think my new card information was not properly updated. All is well? Upon trying to vacate, my access code was repeatedly denied. She finally opens the gate for me when she sees the moving truck. All is well. Until I can't get out. Magically, the gate opens as I get out & start to walk inside. I don't think any of it was an "accident" or "faulty keypad". To top it off- the movers happened to get a snapshot of the WATER DAMAGE inside my unit. Which, we also noted, compromised my belongings I had stored in there. You could say I am a bit less than pleased with how this ended. No one should be treated rudely for vacating a unit. And, the fact water damage occurred isn't leaving me feeling very confident in recommending or ever opting to re-rent in the future.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! Christina is a LIAR and John is nonresponsive. I paid for a move for family as a gift and the movers did not show as promised day of move with no prior notice, they hired out contractors, 1 of which quit on the spot, the others that made inappropriate comments to female family members and made everyone uncomfortable. The furniture was placed stacked on top of other furniture with no protection, no bubble wrap, and just old used blankets. The 3 movers complained that John the owner did not provide any supplies which was evident. We had to make an emergency run to the store for supplies on our dime. The contracted movers damaged doors, door knobs, and walls in the old home which had to be repaired. They then damaged the furniture that was moved (one marble kitchen table that we begged each mover to please take special care of this item and this was broken while loading), we had aside from the marble kitchen table damaged, entire master bedroom set with headboard smashed out completely, dresser mirror missing chunks on both sides, drawers jammed/damaged, fridge had indentations, washer/dryer scraped and dents, another table that had scrapes, an entertainment center with significant markings since furniture was loaded on top of it in the truck. Upon arrival at the new home, the movers refused to reassemble stating they did not disassemble. The contract stated they would reassemble and it clearly shows how they run their business when their movers quit on the spot citing John and Christina as the issue. Once we moved, we contact the owner and Christina again to attempt to resolve indicating we could not pay for the remainder of the move since we now had well over the cost of the move in damage total, so we need help to repair. Christina mentioned $10k worth of coverage up front and then once we mentioned all the damages her response was "what the f" and she could not believe it. She refused to file with insurance till we settled the $1000 bill but we could not given that now we are out thousands for furniture damage, we need help to repair first. Christina led us on a wild goose chase with some repair place she claimed to know well in the area where the new home is. Turned out she lied again and the owner of the repair place has never met her before, the repair man came out and assessed damages stating he had never seen anything like this before and the movers should pay for all damages before we settle the remainder of the moving bill. Avoid at all costs because there are much more qualified movers, this is a family owned fraud business that looks to pull this on the regular and get away with it because they let you go on a wild goose chase till you wear out. Christina promises to call and that John will take care of it, then we had to make several calls. 1.5 months later and we had to pay out of pocket for the kitchen marble taken or it would not be used at all and we would be eating on the floor. All all other furniture is still damaged. Save your precious time, energy, and funds, this is a circus not a business. read more

From the beginning, I expected the items to be properly disassembled and securely wrapped to prevent damage during transit. Unfortunately, John Hogan (the owner) neglected these basic precautions. When the movers arrived, they left large pieces intact and unwieldy, and they refused to wrap items as I had specifically requested. John assured me not to worry and PROMISED there would be NO DAMAGE. Sadly, the outcome was disastrous: nearly every piece of furniture was damaged, showing chips, dents, nicks, scratches, bent parts, and in some cases, items falling apart or breaking. Some components were even missing. WHAT'S most alarming is that NO STRETCH WRAP-- a fundamental protective measure in the moving industry--was used. It's hard to believe that a moving company would skip such a basic safety step, leaving our belongings vulnerable during transport. Initially, HHM seemed willing to address the issue. They proposed a direct settlement to avoid a formal claim, offering to repair or replace the damaged items, which gave me some hope. However, that hope quickly faded as they failed to follow through. For months, I was given the runaround, with vague assurances that they were "working on it." Christina Miller (John's mother), who appears to handle the administrative side, was unhelpful, deepening my frustration and disappointment. Realizing that HHM had no genuine intention of compensating us, I filed a claim with their insurance provider. As requested, I submitted photos of all damages--though, given the circumstances of the elderly owners (one deceased, the other with dementia), pictures were the only evidence I could provide. This process has been equally disheartening. The insurance company, Intact Insurance, has been unresponsive regarding the status of the claim. The claim is valued at just over $1,064, based on the $0.60 per pound valuation listed on the insurance certificate. However, with a deductible of $1,000, I have yet to receive any compensation for the damages. This minimal amount does not come close to covering the actual value or replacement cost of the items. The insured should take responsibility and at least cover their deductible. In addition to furniture damage, I also requested $200 for wall damages and items left behind /missed by the movers. After months of correspondence, I have seen no compensation. This prolonged process has left me feeling powerless and frustrated, navigating both the moving company's shortcomings and the insurance claim process. A former moving company operator shed light on a troubling reality: the insurance system is often a scam. It seems many insurance companies and policyholders fight claims and resist payouts to avoid higher premiums. This sentiment echoes my experience, as I have faced significant obstacles in seeking fair compensation. read more

Fast, effective, careful, and friendly. I'd highly suggest this group...they're far and beyond the best movers I've had, for a variety of reasons. I've moved many times in the past 10 years and Happy Homes Moving is the only company that has ever had the lowest pricing WHILE ALSO not dragging a** at any point during the move. They had me moved over into my new house in 1/3 of the time it took another company to move me the same distance into my previous house, and the Happy Homes team had to move me up a flight of stairs when the last company didn't. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! We could not be happier with Happy Homes Moving, Christine, John, Fred and Benji! Just fantastic! From the quote, to the delivery of the last box, incredibly professional and fair! We had a two-bedroom apartment absolutely filled to the gills with boxes and furniture. Did I mention the two sets of staircases on both sides of the move? These guys were so pleasant, and so kind. We contacted Happy Homes for a quote for our upcoming move. The lady that answered the phone was abrasive and evasive, dropped the call cause she was driving . Guess her name was Christina based on the other reviews, she didn't say, a faux pas. Both my boyfriend and I have worked in sales customer service for a long time . She basically had the personality of a wet mop. Seems to be a mixed bag about the movers as well. Maybe the owner will make some staffing changes. Anthony and George did an awesome job. They showed up right on time and were able to handle my heavy furniture down a narrow staircase without any issue. No noticed damage to anything so far. We agreed on and I haven't heard a word from him since also to make the matter even more exciting my king size bed that got broken from being wedged through doorways and down hallways and had sustained a crack along the side support finally completely cracked and broke off so now I nearly new hardwood king size bed is ruined updated picture below. It is unfortunate that your actions caused you to lose your business. You could've paid and honored your own contract. We gave you months and months and months and you never did. It sucks to suck.

"HireAHelper" and "Moving By Professionals llc" provided terrible service…read more Unprepared - Movers showed up to move all possessions of a 915 sq. foot apartment with 5 small boxes (should have been 5 times as many boxes), they ended up moving all of my kitchen things in plastic shopping bags that I had to supply. Unprofessional - They didn't bring furniture pads, they used my blankets and taped them around my furniture. They kept saying they were done when there was a lot of items remaining to move, I had to keep saying "this room too, we're taking everything". A bottle of $300.00 Creed cologne was stolen. Openly nasty - One of them commented about how nice it would be for me to take a shower at the end of the day - I realized later that my shower head was missing (had been stolen) too. I'm still trying to figure out what else may have been stolen from me. This was a very bad experience to say the least. How are these guys in business?
