This company was a LIFESAVER for our office move! John, Yunet, Junior, and Joe were professional, kind, enthusiastic, and had a smile the entire move. They were so easy to work with and I will recommend this company for anyone looking to have their items moved safely and professionally!

Overall, we had some hiccups but I would still say it was an okay experience. I chose NYH Moving because of the good reviews and got a quote for a 5.5 hour move. We were happy to support a family owned and operated business but I'm posting a full experience here because I would have wanted more honest reviews as a consumer. The good --the guys were super nice. They were polite and if they weren't sure about something they asked us. Our houses had pretty minor scuff marks/wall hits and we have some tricky corners to maneuver. The not so good -- our 85" $2200 tv was damaged sometime between being taken down and remounted by a different company. I can't prove it was NYH moving but they put our 85" and 55" tv in the same box with loose furniture blankets draping the TVs (did not cover the big tv completely) and our damage oddly lines up where a corner of the 55" tv would be. It is simply "he said she said" but TVs should never be packed in the same box. We received a $400 refund which they were not obligated to do but the loss still hurts from our end. I'm posting this here simply because I would have wanted to know --NYH does incentivize their employees to ask for reviews on google. Customers receive a small discount for writing a review on the spot and the guys receive a small bonus as well. I chose NYH Moving because of the number of good reviews so this was slightly off putting when they asked.

I had seen a bunch of reviews for Not Your Husband Moving company, and now that I've used their services, I know why! The response in request to my quote was fast. Everything I heard was reasonable and I decided to go with these guys. I vote that you do too! They were timely, respectful, organized, and made moving easy for me. I could actually relax and know they had everything taken care of. I so appreciate them and definitely recommend! Thank you gents!

TERRIBLE COMPANY . NEVER USE NOT YOUR HUSBAND MOVING!!!Yesterday I was supposed to move. Movers were scheduled to arrive between 1:00 and 3:00. They called and said they wouldn't be here until 4:30. The storage facility closes at 5 pm. I was upset and disappointed but graciously allowed them to reschedule to 9:00 a.m. the next day. They showed up at 9:10 a.m. today. The movers were pleasant and I was quite nice to them and the driver wanted to confirm the estimate. I had to talk to Chad at the office who told me that the job was too small, and they were not going to give me a discount, and that if I didn't like that that I could hire somebody else. I was shocked. I raised my voice and we had a very heated discussion. He then refused to do the job and the movers left. I have not been that upset in a very, very long time. In short, he just didn't want to do the job because he said it was too small. If that was the case, then they should have told me over a week ago when I scheduled with them to move yesterday. UPDATE: Attached is a screenshot of the email confirmation from NOT YOUR HUSBAND MOVING showing the move was scheduled from 1 - 3 pm. Not once did Chad apologize. I have never spoken to Thomas. The two young movers, Colin and Craig, were nice and polite. I let them both know it was not their fault and I wanted to make sure they were still both getting paid for their time. Colin made a comment, something to the effect that they have too many jobs scheduled and that the jobs were not vetted correctly to allow enough time for the movers to move people. Colin also told me that I was the only one scheduled on the day they arrived. I was relieved! Thereafter, Colin had a discussion on the phone with Chad before starting my job and mind you before I talked to Chad, and upon leaving, Colin said he had to hurry to get to another job. Hmm . Chad did say my job was too small. And, he laughed when I told him that I would have to sue him for any emergency moving costs should he choose not to move me that day. He balked, and said something to the effect for what $300...this job is too small. Sadly, as evidenced by the attached screenshot, Chad and Thomas have no idea what's going on in their company. By the way, I never told them what law firm I work for. I was careful not to do that. So not only do Thomas and Chad lie to their customers, they are also vindictive and retaliate against their customers. BEWARE!!

From the phone consultation to the day of moving: I received such amazing service and courtesy! I have 2 big dogs and your guys were interactive with them which made it easier on my furry friends! Very efficient, handled my things delicately, and made this very last-minute move pretty easy on me!!! I'm so glad I don't listen to the negative reviews, this was a great experience for me! Thanks guys!!!!

We needed to move some very last minute things before our lease ended in the garage and our guest bedroom, this company came to the rescue. Their team was responsive and accommodating. Two hours of service for about $480.. I forgot what the rate would have been after the two hours. They got it done in the two hour timeframe from Gilbert to Tempe with a team of 3. Out of 11 companies my husband called, they were the only company to answer and be willing to get the job done at 5pm on a Friday!!! We recommend.

    Team of movers.

This team of movers were fast, efficient, courteous, and helpful. I can't say enough about how pleased I was with the whole operation. It all ran as smooth as clock work, which is highly unusual. To top it off, the pricing was a third of what a competitor's bid was for the job. I highly recommend this company for its overall performance and value.

First off--don't be fooled by their 5‑star rating. They obviously "buy" glowing reviews by offering discounts for on‑the‑spot ratings, which explains why the positive ones are short and vague--customers haven't even checked their stuff! My wife and I started this move with a quote: $1,368 for 6,000lbs, three guys, seven hours. We expected three professional movers who'd show up, introduce themselves, and start loading the furniture we'd listed. Instead, untrained guys arrived asking what to begin with--despite us clearly going room by room. They started by snatching our sealed boxes--full of fragile glassware--rather than the furniture we prioritized. Forty-five minutes in and not a single piece of furniture was touched. They took unwrapped items like lamps and baskets we said not to move. It quickly became chaotic. The lead called their boss complaining the truck was half full. They asked if I wanted a second trip--unacceptable, since our agreement was one trip covering everything. I reminded them of the quoted list: all our furniture, no bags of clothes. Then they told us the truck was full--but reserved space for my DJ stand. In reality, the truck had tons of headroom. Couch was lying on its side, bike haphazardly on top, and a dolly thrown on top before they just drove off--cursing and arguing in front of neighbors! At the new place, five hours later, I asked them to put everything in the garage--not rooms. Two hours later, they left. What remained was a pile of black bags, clothes on hangers, and furniture shoved in the garage. When I inspected things: Boxes upside-down, totes collapsed Shoe rack emptied--the shoes dumped on the floor A chest of keepsakes tossed sideways Fragile boxes buried under heavy items Damage all over my old garage: family albums strewn, shredded trash bag, wood blocks tossed around Even patio furniture, dog houses, and end tables I explicitly told them not to take ended up taken--or just dumped. Meanwhile, heavy items I did pay to have moved were left behind in my garage. That was literally the whole point of hiring them. I contacted the owner, who responded...and I quote,"We are happy to assist you but unfortunately not for free. We are an hourly based service and our estimate was based on the inventory you provided. Clearly the inventory was way off when we arrived and all of that was discussed with you by phone. You chose to not have us take additional items and to keep it to one truck load. You said you would handle the rest. The threats for free service etc don't work with me. We would have handled it day of but you didn't want to pay to have the stuff moved that you didn't tell us about.Let me know if you have any questions." I was quoted for sevral items that were still in my garage, i said there was 40 or 50 large totes or boxes, thats exactly what there was only my bed frame, the surrey bike, dog houses, chairs, were part of my quotew but not the trip. instead i found every black bag of clothes, and evry hanging piwece of clother which is a lot, and something not inclusded in the quote and that i could take over in my car. All in all they moved less then what was quoted, took longer then was quoted, cost more the was quoted, and still have a lot of things at old apreatment so much i need to rent a truck to move it all. The owner writes me back:"Definitely a 2 truck job possibly 3. You can't go pay for 1 tire at discount tire and expect 4 tires can you? This is no different. You want 3 times the amount of stuff moved for the same price it's just not going to happen. " No but generally when you speciifically lists items that you get a quote for that is what is the work that is done. What about the trashed garage, the boxes upside down, the things on their side the caved in totes..."Your Husband isn't helping your qualms. We charge hourly. We billed appropriately. Thomas called raising concerns in regards to truck volume, stated that you and your husband must dictate to the crew what is to go. You both acknowledged and agreed. You both stated 1 trip/truck was the choice, when we offered a return trip You signed pad waivers, mattress waivers, pre-taped furniture directly on the finish etc. We have pictures as well from the crew in regards to the garage content disarray. One truck load and the time billed associated per our signed contract and verbal conversations was your choice, not ours. Michael's continual rambling, verbiage and threats, it is obvious even if the opportunity to finish the job arose, we would absolutely decline servicing. At this point, further communication isn't necessary as I do not perceive any type of resolution would not only satisfy you or your husband, and I refuse to also force our crews into a hostile situation." We told them, told the owner on the phone, lead same time, then went to each guy said the only thing i want on the truck is furniture, no bags, no boxes just the furniture. Not what they did though.

OUR CREW... Charles, Richard, Kyale, and John

They called 30 minutes prior to arriving, arrived on time. Did a quick look around to see everything that needed to be loaded. Each guy got to work, either wrapping furniture or carrying totes/boxes out. We had very heavy furniture. These guys are strong! And they work very hard! And they were polite. I highly recommend NYH Moving!

Damages to my furniture by the movers of Not Your Husband moving company and they refuse to reimburse me.

Utilized "Not Your Husband" moving company for a small job the end of October 2025. One of my items got damaged by the movers. A chunk of wood was broken off of the drawer of my table. Neither of the movers informed me of the damage. One of them attempted to stick the wood back in place thinking I would not notice it. I reached out to the moving company and was told I opted out of protection plan, which was false. I signed nothing opting out of any coverage. People want your business, but they don't want to do business in a fair and equitable manner. To date, the company has yet to reimburse me. This month we needed someone to do a crosstown move for our son. Two Men's quote was extremely high so I researched a bit and found the stellar reviews of Just-In Time Moving. Since their quote was almost half the price (!) we decided to give them a try. You wonder if paying less means inferior service or other problems. That wasn't the case at all. Communication was great. Eric and Miguel showed up right on time (one of those dreadful 110° Phoenix heat advisory days) and worked quickly and carefully. We were very happy to have found this company and are pleased to say they'll be our local movers going forward.

Just-In Time Moving truly helped me out of an emergency situation…read more I had originally hired another moving company, Not Your Husband Moving, and ended up in a terrible situation where I was billed for more than double the estimated hours for the move into storage and the move was not completed as originally estimated. I needed to get my household goods out of their storage quickly to stop the situation from getting worse. Just-In Time Moving was gracious enough to fit me into their schedule last minute. Their office was communicative, their estimate was thorough and clear, and the final bill matched what they estimated. The crew showed up on time, communicated throughout the day, and was professional, careful, and kind. This was not a simple move. They had to unload my furniture and belongings from storage crates, unwrap items that had been wrapped by the prior mover, take care with everything, rewrap my furniture, load it, transport it, and unload it into my new storage unit. They completed the entire job in 7.5 hours. By comparison, the prior mover had tried to bill me 16.5 hours for the move into storage alone. Just-In Time Moving did a fantastic job, and I am extremely grateful they were willing to help me on short notice. After the experience I had before them, their professionalism, clear communication, and honest billing meant everything. My advice to anyone hiring movers: read all reviews carefully, do not take online ratings at face value, check whether the company is listed with moversaz.org, review BBB ratings, and read how the company responds to 1-star and 2-star reviews. I wish I had done more research before hiring the first company. I am very thankful I found Just-In Time Moving when I did.

Just to see, I spent a day calling around for quotes. Some places wanted nearly $300/hr plus a long laundry list of hidden fees, and I thought there was no way it was worth it. But the last company I called was Sterling Interstate, and wow--what a breath of fresh air. We had already dealt with a lot of stress while closing on our first home, and we just needed a reliable team to cross the finish line. The moving industry doesn't always have the best reputation, so I was praying they'd be good--and they turned out to be the absolute best. Not only is their hourly rate very fair for the quality of work, but they also don't hit you with random fees. My husband and I had our home 95% packed and stacked, leaving them to navigate moving everything down a flight of stairs and prepping/packing the larger furniture. Since this was our first time hiring movers, we were blown away: they wrapped and packed everything like it was going cross-country! Even knowing it was only a 15-minute drive, they took zero chances with damage, and everything arrived completely untouched. I am terrible with names, so I've already forgotten the exact crew who came out, but they were AMAZING. On a brutally hot and humid July day in Arizona, they hustled nonstop for 6.5 hours. They took necessary breaks, but they worked so hard, all while cracking jokes with us and keeping the mood light. By the time they left, it felt like saying goodbye to old friends. Pro tip: If you hire movers in the AZ summer, please be kind--offer them cold water, sports drinks, and maybe some Rice Krispies Treats to keep them going! They saved us so much time and left us with the energy to unpack and settle in half the time it would have taken on our own. We are so thankful we went with Sterling Interstate. I don't even want to think about moving again, but it's a relief knowing exactly who we'll call when the time comes. 10/10 recommend!
