First time hiring movers and this will be the company I hire again in the future. They were fast, efficient and everything was put into place at my new apartment. And they are very reasonable priced. Thank you for all your help. read more

Terry responded promptly to initial inquiry. They were available and showed up on the date needed. Items were wrapped and secured preventing harm. Movers Jerry and Chris endured mid day triple digit heat and responded promptly as items were identified to be moved. Would have been nice to know in advance how long it would take beyond the two hour minimum. Move took 6 hours to load/unload the 56' truck from two locations 2 BR, den, patio, and garage. Priced lower than some higher than another: value was good! Recommended! read more

Chris and his partner just started, and they are busting it out. Thank you to them and Terry for being so gracious. Very professional, and deserving of a big tip for working so hard in Arizona heat. Highly recommend!! read more

The 2 gentlemen who moved us (Jerry and Chris) were great. They showed up on time ready to move our things. We moved from the 3rd floor (no elevator) to the 1st floor. It only took them 3.5 hours to move all of our things and we had a bunch of boxes along with a king size bed and other furniture. I am very impressed with the service the 2 gentleman provided us. Everything was moved carefully and nothing was broken or damaged. I would recommend this moving company to anyone who is looking for not only great service but also a great price Thank you guys again for your hard work and getting our things moved safely and quickly read more

These guys are great. Chris and Jerry were efficient, friendly, and professional. They took care of everything we needed to get moved in at our new apartment. read more

My experience from the time I called In or Out movers to schedule my move until they put the last piece of furniture in place was truly amazing! I never write reviews, but I would highly recommend using them. Jerry and Chris are the best. Thank you In or Out movers! read more

My husband & I reserved a move with In or Out Movers a month in advance. We were flying to Mesa, AZ to pack up my Mother and move her to Illinois. We arrived on Thursday night, and had 1 day to back up her things. I reserved a time/day with Terry to have two movers pack up 3 PODs. Terry called me the day before to confirm. The next day Gerry and Chris arrived right on time. They were completely prepared with extra tape (we ran out) & tools (we had none). They were very careful with my mom's things making sure each box was properly sealed and the furniture was carefully wrapped. I had ordered 3 U-Haul pods, and they fit everything in 2! We were very impressed with everything! These guys are great! Job well done! read more

I had the worst experience with In our Out movers . Terry promised that he would call today and let us know when he and his team comes in . He calls in the morning saying he wouldn'nt be able to make it after he said he will be coming with his team the previous day . Luckily , I was able to find another mover company to help me . I learned not to trust this company ever again . I had to pay extra money to the new movers because Terry changed his word today and was rude when I called him the previous day to know whether he would come today or not . read more

We chose In and Out Movers and Storage not because they were the cheapest but because they were reasonable--after many many calls to others--had such great Yelp reviews and when we spoke to terry in the office, he was especially pleasant. We had so hoped that our short across-town local move--20 minutes away--would be smooth and uneventful. It was everything but and what went from an estimate of 2.5 hours from terry became 7.5 hours and lots of excuses and justifications for why eh move literally took all day. Movers were supposed to arrive between 9 and 10am and would give us a heads up when they were 1/2 hour from arrival. At 9:35, we receive a call from the driver Leonard that they had to stop and get gas because the last driver left it empty. Told that they would be at the move site in 11 minutes. After not arriving in 20 minutes, we call Leonard and find out that he truck won't start and that they are waiting for a jump. Note that they didn't call us to let us know. We had to call them to see if they were lost, etc. They arrived at 11:00am and took 2 hours to pack up the items which they did a fine job with. Then after packing the truck, they said they were talking a half hour lunch and would head over to the destination site. At about 1:45, we finally call them to see where they are. Turns out the truck is dead again and they are waiting for someone to come help them. They didn't call to update us. At 2pm they say they wiggled some wires and the truck started for them. Unpacking took at ]2.5 hours. At this point it's close to 4:20is/ 4;30 and we get a call from Terry for payment. As if we didn't already know, he leads with the fact that the job has been about 7.5 hours and proceeds to calculate the cost. We then remind him of the problems that occurred that have stretched the move out far beyond the estimated time and his response was "We couldn't control the truck's breaking down but I'm not charging for the down time.' I would hope not! So, we pressed for an adjustment and he offered to take off 30 minutes. When pressed further he took off one hour. And Terry seemed irritated that I was reminding him that he should offer/ give us a cost adjustment. It would have gone a long way had Terry been very apologetic and from the get-go had taken off and hour for the gross inconvenience we experienced. We had scheduled a move for a 2-bedroom apartment to a 2-bedroom condo with no large or complicated equipment--no appliances, no aquarium, no filing cabinets, no pool table, etc. This should not have been a complicated or long and drawn-out move. While the movers themselves were very friendly and good workers, we will neither use nor recommend this company. Even though our experience may be an outlier, it should certainly be taken into account when potential customers are reading through the other rave reviews. Our experience, through no fault of our own, was disappointing and just the opposite for us. read more

In or Out movers helped us move back in September 2020. They were fantastic - showed up on time, called when they were on their way, worked hard and took great care of our stuff (wrapped mirrors and breakables). We will call them for our next move and you should too! read more

This was my first time hiring movers to assist with my move and I would definitely hire them again. Adam, Gabby, and Lenard really took care of me. Overall it took them about 5-6 hours to move our 3bed/2bath home (1500 sf). For the first few hours there were only two of them. They set up our beds and placed things wherever I instructed them to. Thanks again for making this move so painless and easy! read more

I cannot express enough gratitude! I am thinking myself and my 3 kids can unload a 17' Uhaul to an apartment on the 3rd floor. We did not make a dent before we were all exhausted. In desperation, I looked on Yelp and found Terry. I called and explained my situation. He had 2 men out in 2 hours. THE SAME DAY! No additional charges. They were done in 2 hours. My kids and I would have been more like 10! Thank you!!! read more

Absolutely Fantastic!!!! After a loading fiasco into a 26' truck in another State with another company and driving 1,800 in 3 days I arrived in Mesa, AZ tired, stressed, frustrated and needed to be unloaded on a Sunday. Jerry and Leonard showed up on time, figured out how to unload the mess and got the job done as quickly as could be done and did it professionally. This is the second time I have used them and they will be my choice if I ever need to move stuff again. Terry, you guys are great!! read more

(3) things that are important to me in selecting movers: 1. Are they going to show up "On time", 2. Quoted price is the same 3. Will they be careful with my items? I paid $200 when other mover companies wanted $300-$500...lots of fees.. I felt $200 was reasonable Fast movers took 2 men only 30 minutes to unload my 15ft truck.. So yes, I would definitely use In or Out Movers again. read more

I started my move out by looking for movers. I read the reviews and seen what I was looking for. Terry was friendly on the phone and the prices seemed almost too good to be true. So then comes moving day , everyone showed up, actually early , it they two guys sent were great! The move went smooth and they assisted more than even expected. So if you find yourself in the stress of moving .... In or out is perfect ! Thank you so much for making things so easy and efficient. You really were great ! read more

Awesome experience!!!..... I used this company this past tuesday to move my mom from a large 2 bedroom home in east mesa to a small one bedroom apartment in downtown Phoenix. I love my mom but she is very picky and i know i would have a hard time gettin her to put stuff in storage. I was really dreading this and having to deal with movers but leonard and adam were wonderful and surpassed my expectations. That we very patient and understanding of the situation and went out of there way to make sure my mothers furniture and belongings were not damaged. I would highly recommend them! read more

Movers were quick and efficient and emptied my 15 foot uhaul to a 3rd story apartment in 2 hours. This would have taken us literally all day if we did it ourselves. It would have been very easy for them to drag it out and charge me for another hour but they hurried through with the goal of making it under 2. I appreciate the honest hard work of this company. I will be calling them the next time I move, and you should too! read more

Leonard and Adam were absolutely fantastic!! It was a last minute move that Terry set up for us quickly and even charged a little less. Look no further for quality, professional and quick movers!! We used this company to move my mom from Queen Creek to Chandler. They were able to schedule us quickly. Leon & Gabby we're our movers & they were great. They never complained & did everything that we asked , setting up the furniture perfectly. The price was fair & we were very satisfied. Thanks for a job well done! read more

My move was unique. I only needed assistance for a few pieces that were too heavy/big for me and my vehicle. I called several moving companies, including In or Out Movers, all of which quoted me for at least several hours of work plus other fees - the lease expensive quote was about $185. The furniture only needed to be moved to a storage unit about 5 miles down the road and I knew from previous experience that the move wouldn't take 2+ hours. I was starting to wonder if $185 was the best price I could get with only a couple days notice. Then Terry, with In or Out Movers called me back - knowing the pieces I needed moved and where they were going, In or Out Movers significantly reduced their original quote AND offered to come out to do the job the next morning. Terry's efforts to work with me and the specific needs of my situation was refreshing. The two gentlemen who came out (from the East to West Valley, no less!) to help me move were friendly and a pleasure to work with. In and Out Movers offered me a competitive quote for my move and were easy to communicate with prior to the move. If you're looking for movers, please consider contacting Terry with In and Out Movers :) read more

Very good and easy move with the help of these guys. All my stuff arrived safely even if if my new place was 10 mins away. I was quoted 70 per hour and 85.00 for the truck which seemed reasonable for the type of work they do. they use a large uhaul truck and have all padding and they came prepared with moving equipment. This review was for oct 2015 but just catching up. read more

Very pleased with these guys. We had some issues on our close and move date, Terry was very accommodating on our date mix ups. Leonard and one other gentleman (I don't recall his name (Alex?), but also extremely pleasant) showed up on time, and promptly started loading. We moved an entire house from one place to another (not just a few boxes!). It was a long day for them, and they knocked it out of the park. My biggest concern was my full sized gun safe, they moved it out and in no problem! I even had a motorcycle with a dead battery, no problem, they loaded it up and transported it. I have to say many companies are out there with prices all over the board, these guys are the most reasonably priced, and did a great job. No breakage, quick, and nice guys! You won't go wrong with them! Call Terry, and book them today. read more

Spoke with Terry about a really small move I had. I just needed to move 5 pieces of furniture down to my storage unit a mile down the road and every moving company I called wanted more than $200 for the job. Needless to say that Terry took care of me with a quote that was ALOT cheaper. My items were moved swiftly and with care. I would recommend again. Thank you. read more

I recently moved from Chicago to Phoenix which I did by myself and was very stressful for me. I called Terry at In or Movers who couldn't have been more helpful. The movers he sent were courteous and most professional. They moved everything within 2 hours in the desert heat. Nothing was broken and they went the extra mile to help me return the U-Haul truck. I was so grateful to them for taking the load of stress off of me, especially after the long drive from Chicago. I will definitely use In or Out Movers again and highly recommend you do so too! read more

We scheduled time for In Or Out Movers the weekend we closed on our house, and they came and did an excellent job on the large furniture and equipment pieces we had contracted them to move. They were a bit concerned for us as they finished up as we still had a TON of stuff to move. We quickly realized we would never get it all done by ourselves, so called them early in the week to get back on their schedule for the following weekend. They squeezed us in as they knew our situation, and came back and spent even more time with us, but got *everything* moved for us!! We seriously could NOT have done it without them, and we are so appreciative of their help and assistance! If you want a company you can count on, that will go the distance for you, THIS is the company. read more

In or Out Movers did a great job for us when we moved from a 4000 sq. ft. home to a ~2000 sq. ft. home, 35 miles across town. We did a tremendous amount of up-front work - boxing & downsizing all the stuff we had accumulated. Of course, we still have 30% too much for our new home. In or Out moved everything out on a Wednesday, stored the trucks and moved everything in on Friday. I highly recommend that day break between moving days...especially if you're 50+. Leonard, Adam & Rob worked their tails off. Big thanks to Terry & his crew. Oh yeah...our big house had a large basement with a lot of furniture AND, the price was very reasonable...no last minute surprises. read more

This is the worst company ever. Never again. If I could give a zero Star I would. When we called to get a quote, we asked what would happen if we were not all the way packed? We explained how much stuff we had to move. We were told they would happily disassemble and reassemble furniture. We were told they could help us pack. We were told no problem that we had a 1900 sq ft house with a garage and shed full, that it might take a second truck. This is not what we got at all. The foreman showed up and walked through the house and said very rudely you are not even ready to move. We said we need to be out today, he said no way. When my husband finally barked back at him for yelling at us for twenty minutes he told my husband to fuck off find someone else and left to get in his truck. They showed up in a rented uhaul not what's pictured. They told us the owner was an old man that had some screws loose and doesn't know what a job takes. He said we would need twenty men and four trucks to get this job done. We felt stuck so we begged him to come back. The foreman was I'm not touching this, like our TV's . They refused to put our furniture back together. They left gouges in the walls at one house. He refused to take apart the fridge to get it out the doors. So he sat while my husband took it apart. After he got big furniture on the second truck he came in are told us he was leaving the rest to us. When we said there are a lot of small things to still go he said no room on the truck. So we walked out to the truck to find there was room. Then he said I have this space here I don't want empty space anything we can put here. He just kept complaining about the job instead of working. The two men he had with him were nice and tried to do what they needed to do. We called around to try to get other movers out there at the foreman request. We finally called people in are church. Our church members did a much better job. The 5-6 hours quote of $500-700 turned into over $1000. Please avoid this moving company at all costs. read more

This is was a great price for moving I originally thought. You get what you pay for. They were an hour late. They complained. During the first 2 hours they took a smoke break on my dime. Worst offense they used my restroom, made a mess, and did NOT clean up. I can't imagine why they have such good reviews? My experience was anything but.... read more

Easy reservation process with Terry as well as flexible to the one time that we had to reschedule to another day. The Movers (Jerry & Leonard), called prior to their arrival and were absolutely on time. Though we didn't have a huge move, they completed it in more than reasonable time and with no damage to anything. We will definitely use this company in the future. 5 stars isn't even enough to describe our experience with Terry, Jerry & Leonard.. read more

Great movers! I don't usually do review but decided to post for this company because I was so impressed. They are priced great, with no hidden fees. I had a few other quotes and this company was the best priced. The movers worked really hard and were very polite. We had one worker smash one of his fingers and instead of a string of swear words he expressed PG language, something I don't if I could have done. We were moving long distance and had a lot of stuff and they were able to pack our truck like a great game of Tetris, but also protecting our furniture. Thanks for such a great job! read more
