Movers arrived around 8:35, got into the house around 8:45 to start doing work…read more Marked their start time at 8:30, finish 12:15, my hunch was they bill on 30 minute increments and since they worked 3.5 hours instead of 3.75, they were trying to round up for another hour. The person who arranged my move, Matt, later tried to claim they billed me 4 hours, because there was 30 minutes of travel time....yet that was not on the actual bill anywhere. If they included travel time to the job-site, they should have billed me for 4.5 hours, if they actually started at 8:30, or if they were supposed to include travel time, their start time should have been 8:00, not 8:30. Seems like Matt was just trying to cover his butt. Workers did complete their job, mostly competently. I had requested a full service pack and load, as confirmed in the screenshot below. Workers used over 20 boxes that I purchased, bubble wrap and tape, in addition to their own supplies. And still ran out of boxes when packing the last room. They had to break into some spare boxes that I had. They did not bring a wardrobe box that I had specifically requested, and ended up having to wrap all my hanging clothes in garbage bags. Movers also ignored my instructions regarding loading the heaviest items first, they waited until the truck was mostly packed before loading on one of the heaviest items, a rolling kitchen island pictured below. They then proceeded to load another 100-200lbs of items on top of this rolling kitchen island, which caused the wheels on the bottom to break (photos below) They also caused some other minor damage, by improperly packing a bookshelf on top of about 20 boxes, and loading a box with some protruding equipment underneath it, the bookshelf was punctured. They also improperly loaded some posters, because they didn't have the proper boxes to pack them, which were damaged. According to their contract, apparently anything made out of particle board isn't covered, even if they pack it shoddily because they didn't bring the right supplies. Nice cop out on the bookshelf I reached out to Matt Skop, who was in charge of my move. I let him know of my concerns, that I would like my deposit returned, and that I felt I was overbilled by 30 minutes on labor. He proceeded to blame me as if I was somehow responsible for the fact that his moving team improperly/unsafely loaded the truck, and insinuated that I somehow damaged the things inside of the truck? Finally, despite taking a $100 deposit to book the move, they charged me the full amount on the bill, and when I reached out to Matt regarding the Deposit, he responded that he was unable to repay me the deposit, and asked for details to send the money, then stopped responding to emails entirely. I filed a complained against this company with both the Mass attorney General and the BBB, for all the good it will do. Moving team was pleasant and had they been given the proper supplies to complete the work they were assigned, I'm sure this would have been a much more pleasant experience. Do not recommend, Matt was very rude in responding to my concerns, and in addition to refusing to refund my deposit, also refused to apologize or take responsibility for any of the actions of his team, or provide any sort of refund/reimbursement for any damages despite his team doing a sub-par job, and not having the appropriate materials to complete their work. Edit: After posting tis review, Matt did finally return my $100 deposit, all other complaints still stand.

Broke a cabinet and then CHARGED me for the time it took to fix it. One of my tables is all scratched up. My jewelery cabinet has a dent in it. And there's probably MUCH WORSE because all of my stuff is still in boxes. They were so late they couldn't unpack, so I have to. $1800 to move a couple of miles! DO NOT RECOMMEND. Seriously you could do just as bad of a job as these guys and save a ton of money by renting a Uhaul.

We settled on what I *thought* was needed, and he sent a rough estimate within a couple hours. A big relief! However, my circumstances changed abruptly, and I needed to cancel the move. As I had no idea If I would be moving within a couple months or a couple years, I couldn't in good faith postpone. Alex was completely understanding. Through the entire process, from first contact to an unfortunate need to cancel, he was courteous, upfront about all matters, offered helpful suggestions, and very pleasant to work with. My only issue, falls entirely on my shoulders. They do offer a refund policy, but it was me who misunderstood the details. On their site, it clearly states that a refund will be granted only if canceled within 48 hours of booking. I had read it as before 48 hours of my move. That's not on them, my fault. I called them the day before to double/triple confirm. My only complaint is that they were 90 minutes late before they finally called to say they were running late. It was a Saturday afternoon so their main number was not being answered and I had no communication from them and no way of knowing if they were still coming. It was unnerving. Once they arrived though, they were great. They were fast, efficient, strong, smart, and good humored. I definitely recommend them, but suggest that you have a back-up way to communicate with them on the day of the move, in case they are running behind schedule. 4 stars.

One had a mask around his neck, and the rest of the two movers didn't have them. When I informed them politely that Cambridge has a law that requires you to wear face masks in public places, such as the apartment building lobby they were standing in, all three pulled out masks from their pockets. I said great, please put them on. They did and walked to the elevator, then took them off. WTF? I say nothing, and when we got to our apartment on the ninth floor, I asked them again to put them on, this time a little annoyed since they don't seem to be taking this seriously at all. They said they can't put them on since moving is cardio-intensive and putting on a mask will hinder their work. Well, excuse me, there's a f**king pandemic going on and they are refusing to wear a mask inside my home? I had no other choice but to turn a blind eye since we were leaving from Boston to California that day and we had no other choice. The "quality assurance" guy reached out to me when we got to California and I informed him about my displeasure on the mask situation, and then I NEVER heard back from him, until I told him I was going to write this review. He called and said "they did not want to be defamed on the internet". lol. My pet food storage box, trash can, and some small items had dents when they got here, so I won't comment on the moving services. They had a 1350sf condo (plus porch and basement) packed in 5 hours and returned the next day to move us from Watertown to Waltham. These guys are amazing. They are so friendly, personable and professional. During one of the worst heatwaves we've seen in Boston in a long time, these guys were unfazed. I called in weeks before my move and talked to the owner of the company, I told him exactly what I needed to move and what kind of truck. We agreed on the labor price and mileage.
