We used precision in our move a couple weekends ago and it was a wonderful experience! The team was super communitive, efficient, and careful. They wrapped all our furniture and took care in moving everything at both locations. We opted for their packing services for the kitchen as well. It was our first time using packing services and they were very thorough. Some might say too thorough because as we were unpacking there was an abundant amount of paper used to insulate everything! They took the time to jostle a very difficult anoire into the Williamstown apartment. Our move was on July 8th. The crew that moved us from our home in Wilmington to Chelmsford was fantastic. Everyone was on time, extremely efficient at their job, and quite pleasant. This is a long-overdue review, and I'm sorry for the delay because this company is awesome! Last June they moved us from Somerville to Medford. First, Jennifer came to our house and gave us an estimate, and she was very helpful and informative. After doing some more research and getting a few quotes from other companies, we decided to go with Precision (even though their quote was higher than some) because they were the only company to offer an in-person consultation and we were confident in the estimate. Best moving decision I've ever made! Our moving-day crew included Ngadi, Oscar, PJ and Shean. They arrived punctually and took impeccable care with all of our belongings. They were energetic, efficient, friendly and professional. The new place was on the second floor, and the team had to negotiate a relatively narrow staircase, which they did expertly. They were very patient with me when I asked them to try different arrangements for furniture in my office, trying to get the best layout. Ngadi also gave me some good suggestions for setting up the bedroom to that everything fit and flowed well. These movers know what they are doing, and I can't emphasize enough how careful they were with our stuff. The whole move only took six hours (for a three-bedroom place plus washer and dryer) and the price came in under the estimate even with an additional mover added to the team. I've made a few big moves in my life, and this is by far the best experience I've ever had. I hope we don't have to move again soon, but whenever we do, I will definitely call Precision Moving! He estimated the move between 600$ and 800$ and I end up paying 1200$ cash . One of the movers said we need to charge extra because the furniture is heavy and when I said the furniture is less 250 pounds, he said you need to give us a good TIP. The movers are nice people but they are not really professionals except one of them and definitely not the supervisor. I moved around many times and I really know what I am talking about.If I have to do it again, I will definitely going to hire this company. We had a difficult move from UPack cubes in Bridgewater MA that this crew handled with perfection! Estefan, PJ and Shawn (not sure of the spelling of all names sorry!) were super fast but careful. We had a complicated elevator reservation system at our new building and they arrived before we did and arranged the service elevator with our concierge. They moved all items into the appropriate rooms and made sure not to scratch the floors. They were constantly trying to be efficient and not take too much time as they charge by the hour. We really appreciated that courtesy. Also, booking them with the office staff was so pleasant and professional. I did not know what day my "cubes" would arrive so I had to guesstimate the dates and they worked with me to accommodate my final move in date. I can't say enough about this company. We had two multi-stop complex out of state moves within one week, and they both went incredibly smoothly. On the first they had to move over 50 large paintings and a ton of smaller ones, and they handled them all very professionally. On the second they had two pick-up stops (including a lot of boxes, etc. in an attic with drop-down ladder) and delivery out of state to a small city neighborhood, where they were able to maneuver the 26' truck into a very tight driveway. The guys themselves were fast, careful, very good natured and fun. And the cost was reasonable, and since they bill by the hour, very fair. My dealings with the office were also easy and pleasant, and they were able to accommodate a few last-minute changes with no problem. If we ever need to move again (hope not), I wouldn't think of using anyone else. read more
