I have nothing but positive things to say about Seven Moving! Arman, Adam, and Erzhan were fantastic! They were friendly, courteous, and (most importantly) efficient and careful. They also by some miracle/impressive skill were able to move this large wooden desk I had that I swore I was probably going to have to leave behind because it was so huge/heavy and was not going to fit out the door. At the end when they had moved all my stuff into my new apartment they took the time to check that everything was placed where I wanted. I was happy with the rest of my experience with Seven Moving as well. I used them for a September 1st move, and even though I only called 2 weeks in advance (which is not recommended) they had openings and were still competitively priced! (I ended up choosing Seven Moving because they were the cheapest and most straightforward quote I received) Right from the start Zurab responded quickly to my online price quote and with good detail, which was very helpful as someone using movers for the first time. The price quote was straightforward - a lot of the other quotes I got were "it depends" and seemed to have hidden fees, etc. With Seven Moving, the hourly rate they give you is all there is, where you just pay the hourly rate for the amount of time they spend from the time they arrive to the time they leave plus the "travel time" (my travel time was 20min each way, but they tell you what the time is in the email beforehand). Also, the movers were on time (and called when they were 30 min away), and there was a 5% discount for paying in cash! I'm not planning on moving anytime soon, but next time I do I will definitely be using Seven Moving, and I recommend that you do as well! read more

This was my first time using a moving company and I must say, this was the happiest I've ever been to hand over several hundreds of dollars. (I was only recently a college student - this is huge praise.) Seven Moving stood out among the moving companies as having the best hourly rate while still having solid reviews and information available. I was slightly sketched out that their email is a Gmail, but Zurab was quite responsive and helpful in scheduling my move & it all went smoothly in the end. As for the move itself, wow! Ismail, Zhenya (Eugene), and Faro(?) were fantastic. I've never seen a move go so quickly; my old apartment was almost empty in like 15-30 minutes! Even with the terrible elevator at my new apartment, the move was complete in just over 2 hours which was a great surprise. My original estimate was for about 3-5 hours, so I was expecting to pay a lot more. Everything I thought would make my move frustrating for the movers turned out to be A-OK - they were able to find parking, moved my strangely shaped items that wouldn't fit in boxes, and were able to move my furniture w/o taking drawers/cabinets out. Other small things that made me happy: They asked where I wanted all of my furniture to be, rather than just dumping it in the room; they were sure to ask questions/clarify what stuff to bring vs. leave in the old apt; they didn't go slowly just to inflate the length of the job for more money. This moving company was EXCELLENT. I submitted a quote request by e-mail, and received a prompt response with an accurate estimate. As my dates and needs changed, Zurab worked to accommodate me. I received a quick and thorough response to every e-mail that I sent to change my dates, times, etc. Once the logistics were settled, I was given a two hour window for my move. On the day of the move, the movers arrived promptly during that window. I received a call when my movers were 30 minutes away, as I had been told to expect. The actual move itself was seamless. My boxes and furniture were packed up very efficiently. I was definitely impressed. The unloading at my new apartment was similarly quick and easy. Alex and his fellow mover were friendly and very professional. They didn't waste any time, which I really appreciated. The movers also did me a HUGE favor and agreed to make two extra stops after the first part of the move. They took my couch back to my parents' home and then brought my parents' couch back to my apartment. Truly, these guys went above and beyond, and never complained. They were awesome. I would HIGHLY recommend Seven Moving to anyone looking for movers. They charged me exactly what they said they would beforehand (which was considerably less than all of the other movers I talked to). This was my first time when I had to use the services of a transport company, and my friends advised seven moving, I must say that they made a huge impression on me. Seven Moving offered me the best hourly rate. I was in a panic from the fact that I did not know where to start, but Zurab was quite responsive and helped me plan my movement, and in the end everything went smoothly. As for the move itself ... wow! the team worked just fantastic. I have never seen a movement go so fast; my old apartment was almost empty after 45 minutes! Despite the terrible heat and poorly functioning elevator in my new apartment, the move was completed in just 3.5 hours, which was a big surprise for me. My initial estimate was approximately 4-5 hours, so I expected to pay a lot more. The guys turned out to be very punctual, attentive and neat - they were able to find a parking lot, moved all my belongings and were able to equip them in the truck so that items with a not simple shape fit perfectly and remained intact, without damage. they asked where I want all my furniture to be, and not just left it in the room; they always asked questions / clarified what to bring or leave in an old apartment; they did not go slowly, only to increase the duration of work, to earn more money. These guys are absolutely amazing. Due to a planning glitch I was stranded in the heat of moving week in Boston with no storage space and no movers. I needed to get my stuff out of my apartment within the next 4 hours because I had a flight to catch (on that same day). I had called through all the moving and storage companies that I could find online, everyone was booked out. I managed to rent a storage unit but I had no clue how I could get my stuff there (I can't drive and I had no acquaintances who could help me out). I was convinced that all hope was lost and I would just need to postpone my flight... Then I found these guys! The person who picked up the phone was very helpful and told me that, yeah this could be done. Within the hour that I first contacted them two guys came over (they just coincidentally had time between two moving jobs in my area) and packed my stuff into the truck in no time! At this point I still needed to finalize the contract with the storage unit. The guys gave me a lift to the storage unit in their truck, waited for me to finalize the contract, and then even dropped me off by a T station when we were done. Seven Moving were really life savers for me. If you're in a pinch, these guys will definitely do everything in their power to help you out. Great people! Seven Moving is fabulous!!!!!!!!! I hired Seven Moving to move a one bed apartment from Boston to Connecticut. I called at least 10 different movers but from the first phone call with Eugene I knew I had found the right company. He was on top of my move from the beginning, even calling me 2 days prior to make sure I was all set. The building I was moving from required specific insurance paperwork from Seven Moving's insurance company and Eugene emailed me when the paperwork was sent (one less thing I needed to worry about). On the day of the move the guys called to give me their exact arrival time (which was right on time). They couldn't have been nicer and emptied out the apartment in about 90 minutes. They drove to CT, arrived right on time and once again emptied the truck quickly. I was paying by the hour for this move and the move was completed in the timeframe I anticipated and all my items and boxes appeared to be in good shape. In addition, I was charged a flat return fee from CT back to Boston which was equal to the time it takes to normally drive that route, so even if the guys got stuck in traffic or wanted to stop to eat, my cost wasn't affected. Overall a very positive experience with Seven Moving. I used them for a local move from JP to Brookline. The booking process was easy--importantly, they were straight forward about rates. I called around for quotes from other local companies, but the communication with Seven felt, by far, the most upfront. There were a lot of "it depends" from other companies which is why I chose Seven. Once the move was complete all the costs were as expected from the quote I received upon booking. The rate for a 3-man crew is $120/hour (which I really do think is the better option than a 2-man crew even for a small apartment). Sergey, Adam, & Yarik were on time, communicated in advance, moved everything carefully (including wrapping furniture in shrink wrap and/or moving blankets as needed for no extra cost), and worked efficiently. The move took 3 hours (plus another 45 minutes for travel). I am settled into my new place--everything is accounted for and in good condition. I would absolutely use Seven, again. It's worth noting that I have moved frequently both locally and a couple of cross country moves. I have had a range of experiences, so I wouldn't endorse Seven if I didn't believe they really do a good job. read more

I needed to move from one apartment to another a short distance away, and Seven Moving was wonderful! Both Zurab and Eugene were extremely accessible via email/phone to answer all of our questions and address any concerns that arose before the move. They were extremely clear upfront about their pricing (they have very reasonable rates), and Eugene was actually able to help us schedule our move for a day earlier than expected when we found out that a snowstorm was forecast for our original time. The movers (Kuat, Bayron, and Artur) were highly professional, extremely polite, and very careful with my furniture. They wore masks during the entirety of the move and carefully placed my furniture exactly where I wanted. When we found out that my new apartment building only had a small elevator that wouldn't fit some of my furniture, they didn't bat an eye and carried several larger and extremely heavy pieces up 5 full flights of stairs (more than 50 steps)! Even with the unexpected obstacle, they were very quick and efficient and completed my move in about 2 hours. Overall, I was extremely impressed and highly recommend this company - they made my move so much less stressful and were worth every penny! read more

We were plan to move our boxes and some furniture from our studio apartment on Aug and Sep 1. Our original plan somehow fell through and we couldn't do it ourselves. We panicked and were desperate about how we were going to move out of our apartment. Thank goodness, I found Seven Moving. First of all, they accommodated our last-minute request during the busiest weekend of the year! Secondly, the movers did an excellent job of taking care of our boxes and disassembling bed frames, and efficiently arranging them in our storage unit. They optimized the space in our storage unit, so there was still some space for few more boxes. Third, I very much appreciated their clear communication throughout our move. They answer calls and reply to emails right away. After we filled out the quote request form online, I got a reply within 10 minutes confirming that they can accommodate out request. Email contained all necessary details about the time, number of crew, billing procedures, discounts etc.. Lastly, the price is really fair much less than the other quotes I received. Overall, would definitely go to them again in the future and also recommend to our friends. read more

These movers are great guys, professional and very sweet, and gamely take on the absurd and random challenges that come with moving other people's stuff for a fair price. Case in point: We have this ridiculously large, hand-carved mahogany bed we had made when we lived overseas that I insist on keeping and moving to various apartments. Our first move with them, they dismantled it and then had to take part of it over a balcony to get it out of the apartment, then reassembled it at our new place without complaint. The second move was just yesterday. It's a little house, and my ridiculously large bed did not fit up the narrow stairwell. So we asked them to put it together in the downstairs bedroom. And then we asked them to lug the pullout couch, which I'd already said could go downstairs, upstairs. To do that, they have to remove the feet just to get it through the stairwell. It was a lot of extra work at the end of a long day for them, but they were really nice about it, as usual. It definitely makes the move so much less stressful knowing you have movers you can trust. We can't say enough about Seven Moving. Alex, Dima and Lesha were rockstars! -They called well in advance of the scheduled 9:00AM start time and showed up promptly. -Even though we were a little skeptical when they showed up with a UHaul truck (they said that they needed to rent it out because the other trucks were being used), they were quick, efficient, and boy, do they know how to tape, wrap and pack the truck! -We had some particularly heavy items and they handled it no problem. -They had one minor break of a non expensive lamp, were upfront and genuinely apologetic and they took the price of the lamp off of the final cost. -They had to make a second trip because the truck was a little too small BUT they did not charge for the extra travel time for the second trip which was a huge bonus! -Total time of the entire job ended up being about 8 hours and the final price was under $1,000....I don't think you will find this quality with this price with many other moving companies. -We were very happy with Seven Moving and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs to move in the Boston area! read more

These guys were great! This was my first time hiring movers, and it was worth it. Zurab responded to my quote almost immediately; I booked with them and they were responsive when I checked in before the move. When the team arrived they went right to work - Arman led the team, and was very sweet and communicative with me throughout the move. They moved out all my boxes really quickly, wrapped everything, and even got a couch out of my house that no one has been able to get out before (the previous tenant left it because they couldn't get it out!). When we got to the other side (Eastie to the North End) they brought everything up quickly (got the couch in the new place!). They handled everything very carefully, were hard working, eager, and communicative about their time so that I was informed about what I was paying for. Since it was my first move I'm a little clueless on comparative costs, but they were my lowest quote, and again, at the end of the day, they were so worth it. We recently relocated to Beacon Hill (challenging neighborhood for moving to say the least) on Sept 1 (aka moving "D-day" in Boston). After receiving a number of quotes from other highly reviewed companies ranging up to $2500 for a small 2br apartment's worth of furniture and belongings (ridiculous!!), we were relieved to get a much more reasonable quote from Seven Moving and thus decided to go with them. On moving day, Gleb and his team were prompt, friendly, arrived equipped for the job, communicated well, took appropriate precautions with our furniture, and were impressively fast. One particular highlight worth mentioning: we had one oversized leather sofa that they managed to fit up through a classically cramped, narrow, and twisting Beacon Hill staircase without damaging the piece. It was an astounding feat! The whole move took a little more than 5 hours, which worked out to be around $750ish (before tip). They did a fantastic job and I would strongly recommend them to anyone moving in the Boston area. We would certainly move with them again. read more

These guys are great. We used them when we moved last year, and the guys were so professional, efficient, and well-priced that we used them again this year. This year's move was a huge project - we ended up with a ton more stuff than we thought!! They gave me a quote as soon as I called to book, they were able to be flexible with the moving date and time. The rates are amazing, and no hidden fees. What they tell you up front is the hourly rate, and they only charge for the time they spend on your individual job. They sent a 3-man crew and a truck, they bring all the materials needed, and were very careful with wrapping furniture and completing special requests. I don't know how they managed to get all our crap into the truck, it seemed like magic -- but they did it efficiently and were really polite, and transparent with everything they were doing. It was also a heat wave on our moving day, these guys were amazing and kept going. Someday we'll stop having to move every year (!) But until then we'll be calling Seven Moving every time. read more

I cannot say enough about these guys! I agree with Kevin, the minimal posts had me a bit nervous as well since I have very nice and (sorry guys) heavy furniture. BUT I trusted Kevin and could not be happier with my moving experience. I moved from Southie to Roslindale and even need a couple of rooms rearranged in Roslindale in order to move my bedroom in. They were incredible and courteous. Jimmy and a great Russian guy (sorry missed the name) showed up right on time and powered through my move. I was very comfortable working with them which is important as a female welcoming men into your home....it's true. Only bad thing is that I made them late for their next move job, but even with that they did not rush me at all and continued to be very carefull with my life in boxes and bags. Priceless - For a 5hr move (plus 1hr travel time) it only cost me $450. I tipped them both out for all of their HARDwork and for relieving to much stress! I am satisfied of my moving experience with Seven Moving on August 2, 2018. First, it is easy to reserve online. I filled out a request for quote form on Seven Moving website and received the quote and detailed information from Zurab in a very short time. Although I had no experience using moving company before, their hourly quotes seem lower compared with the other company I asked. It might be a better option for people moving with furnitures because they offer three movers at a reasonable rate. Do keep in mind that they have a minimum 2-hour billed hours. I didn't have furniture and only need a truck and movers to help me move my stuffs from self storage space to my apartment. Zhenya, Erzhan, Baha came and they moved in a such quick and efficient way that the whole process ended up much shorter than I expected. At end, I paid 2-hour service time for one hour actual work. I recommend Seven Moving for people moving with furniture! They are very professional, friendly, and can help you disassemble and assemble furniture if needed. read more

Seven Moving is simply amazing. I sent them an email asking if they could help me with my move from a 3rd floor 3BR apartment in Somerville to a 3rd floor studio apartment in Fenway. They responded to my inquiry right away to schedule me, and when I had to reschedule my move to a day later they were happy to accommodate that change as well. The movers showed up on time, and were kind, professional and FAST. They even took apart several of my pieces of furniture (too big to fit down the stairwell) and reassembled them in my new apartment. They also were happy to help me assemble a new couch (straight out of the box I had ordered from Wayfair) which was a huge help as I didn't have any tools (not to mention I have no idea how to put furniture together). The 2 movers were extremely delicate with all of my things, and completely wrapped up all of my furniture before moving it into the truck. Can't beat them for price (5% discount if you pay cash) or service. Highly recommend if you are moving anywhere in the Boston area!! read more
