Efficient, experienced, and affordable. I requested services 4 days prior to my Monday afternoon move. My email was promptly replied within hours of the request! For my 1BR, I hired 3 men, who handled fragile objects with care and promptly loaded/unloaded within 90min such that all services were completed within 2hrs, for which I paid ~3h given the 1h travel they required to/from my apartment. These guys were AMAZING! We had a sofa and love seat which we thought had to be hoisted out of our 3rd floor condo to make room for new sectional furniture we bought as when we bought this condo that's how we got the furniture in. Seven moving showed up with three guys and they physically figured out how to move these two pieces out of our condo through the stairwell without having to use any rigging equipment. Amazing! They didn't damage any of the walls, barely left a scuff mark, and did it all in less than an hour. I highly recommend them. Very efficient and professional. I was pleased with my whole experience, from questions to booking to packing to moving. I had reached out to 5-7 other companies and Seven was the best in value, ease, and responsiveness without spamming me with marketing emails. I appreciated that they let me save on materials costs by providing my own boxes. They didn't even seem slowed down at all by using mishmash of different sizes and shapes of boxes. I will fully admit that I was a mess moving. I'd never hired professional movers before, I didn't know what my roommates wanted to keep vs toss, and I was very frazzled. Ken and his team were incredibly professional, showing up early, asking clarifying questions, and truly just being remarkably efficient. There was no delay just to drive up the hourly price. When the movers accidentally left with my parking past, they were extremely apologetic and drove back within twenty minutes to drop it off. I compared quotes from the most "budget friendly" moving companies, and they were right in those quotes (169/hr with 3 movers). We had an amazing experience with seven moving when we moved between apartments in a busy Boston neighborhood. They protected and moved our heaviest and largest furniture, including fragile items like a TV and large mirrors, very easily and professionally. For our second floor one bedroom apartment, it only took them 30min to pack everything (including large items) into their truck with three movers! Unpacking took a little longer, but the elevator was our bottleneck here. It was also a super hot day which makes their work so much more impressive. I would 100% work with them again! Just make sure that you book early (over 1.5 months in advance) if you want movers for busy moving seasons, but this should go without saying :) read more

I would give zero stars if i could, and urge anyone i know never to use Seven moving. My moving experience was so bad and stressful, that I ended up getting sick for multiple weeks after it. The movers i got were unprofessional, lazy, and even broke several things. They almost left without even installing several pieces of furniture. I would never in my life ever hire them again, and if my friends are moving, I will always make sure they do not use Seven moving. I have never paid that much for a move (over $2000) and had to move so many items myself because my movers were so lazy and unwilling to roll up their sleeves and work hard. One of them even asked me for a cigarette during the day. Do yourself a favor and pick ANYONE else! read more

Wow! First, the communication has been outstanding. Even after our moving plans changed and we had to postpone for 6 months, we were remembered and able to jump in where we left off. The day of the move it was 92 degrees outside. The guys showed up on time, asked great questions and were insanely efficient. I even tried to give them extra time for lunch and rest but they wouldn't take it. Every stitch of furniture was moved without damage to it or walls (and we lived in a 3 floor townhouse with a twisting staircase). They came in under budget and were super polite and professional. Amazing experience with SevenMoving! We were on a very very tight schedule and SevenMoving was willing to send movers earlier than their normal business hours(8am). The customer representative provided reasonable plans(2/3 movers, 2/3 hours) based on the amount of stuff I described, alone with detailed information(tools they have, their normal efficiency) for me to make a decision. On the moving day, the movers arrived earlier than expected, so we actually got 15-20 more minutes of service. The three movers were easy to communicate, highly efficient and experienced, and very professional with furnitures. They disassembled furniture super fast, and wrapped our wooden furnitures with carpet without us asking. They also gave us free moving ropes to tight our stuff from moving and cracking in the truck. I think that shows they actually care about customers. We really appreciate their understanding and trying to help, they made our moving day a lot more easier(we basically just stood there and take photos of their packing to show our friends...). I opted to pack myself, which reduced the price a bit. Tips to the movers are not included in the final price, as is openly stated at the time a quote is provided. Even after accounting for tips, the final cost was very reasonable and better than every other pre-tip quote I received from several competing Boston-area moving companies. While I was already impressed by the price, service was top-notch too! Arrived at 8, had our 2 bedroom apartment packed up by 10:30, drove to Maine, and had us unpacked into two storage units by 4. We weren't completely packed when they arrived but they got right to work. I was nervous about all our stuff fitting in the truck but they got it all in. The price is totally right. One thing I was confused about, though, was travel time. That's added on as the time it takes them to get home once they unload your stuff, which completely makes sense, I just didn't think it through. read more
