My most recent was my first time using movers and I chose Brave because of these reviews. They deserve every star they've earned. I received a call back within an hour of inquiry (which was in the evening). They were first willing to accommodate an early pick up then later delivery; and when that changed, they were flexible. They arrived early and had my 1 BR moved in 3 hrs, with one of those hours being travel time. I am astounded that my moving day came together without a single issue. Extremely satisfied with my experience with Brave Movers! Sam and his team are the utmost professionals, from their communication, speed of work, and care of our belongings. Sam and 2 other guys moved our 3 bedroom house locally in 5.5 hours, and this included finishing up a lot of extra packing that we didn't finish before they arrived on moving day. They also brought a second truck to carry all of our garage/outdoor belongings, which was nice to know that those things weren't co-mingling with our indoor belongings. We were not initially quoted for a 2nd truck but we were also not charged extra for it based on our agreed-upon hourly rate, so it was much appreciated! They assembled and placed my furniture exactly where I wanted, and nothing was damaged in the move. I got many quotes for movers and Brave Movers had great pricing - awesome value for the great work you get. Had an EXCELLENT experience with Brave Movers a few months ago - if I could give 10 stars I would! Cannot say enough positive things!! I've moved about 5-6 times over the years, and rate Brave the best mover I've experienced by far. Firstly, they were the best value cost wise by far. I called most of the "top reviewed" movers on Yelp, if it saves folks time to see who had the best price, and it was Brave. Secondly, communication was excellent! Very prompt, very very professional, and thorough. Lastly, they did an amazing job with the move. My move was in a high rise and consisted of a bunch of furniture, boxes, etc and was a pretty standard 1BR Apt move. They were careful, thoughtful, fast, and went above and beyond with the job. What more can you ask for? I also recommended them to the management in my high rise. I generally don't write a lot of Yelp reviews, but given how stressful moving can be if you are in need of a mover, cannot recommend Brave enough! read more

I highly recommend Brave Movers!!! We've moved several times over the years and based on my experience, Brave Movers is simply the best! What sets them apart from other companies is excellent customer service, from communication, honesty, and reliability. The person I spoke with, Daniel, gave me the fairest estimate for the move after calculating the number of storage days we needed to meet a specific delivery time frame. He was very upfront about the pricing and reassured me that there would not be any hidden costs, which I appreciated. And, he's so nice--very personable and easy to talk to!! Daniel kept me posted throughout the entire process of the move (loading date, how many workers, confirmation for pick up/delivery, etc) and they were punctual. I loved that he was also responsive when I called or texted. I was surprised that only 2 men unloaded and delivered our belongings (a large truck full) in only 4 hours! (These guys are super strong and efficient, though I was very worried about their backs! Note: Our previous home was 4,700 sq ft with a huge basement storage room and we downsized to a 3,200 sq ft house with no basement storage. I underestimated how much stuff we had and unfortunately we had to leave some valuable items behind because they would not fit in the truck. I highly recommend donating or selling items you no longer need or use, because we ended up bringing mostly junk across the country that we eventually had to get rid of. read more

This is the second time using Brave Movers. The first time was a year ago, which was a huge move from our 3 bedroom loft to a 5 bedroom home with lots of stairs. We were amazed at how well they managed our huge amount of items, including my husband's heavy tools and super heavy furniture. This time, they moved my parents' things from storage to an ILF, which went seamlessly. We have used many different moving companies in the past, but none have compared to this company. My husband and I worked with Brave Movers in early August for a move out of state. We packed most of our boxes ourselves, but we definitely had some left the morning Brave Movers arrived to finish it up, wrap all of our furniture, and pack up their van. There were 4 workers to load the truck from our 2-bedroom apartment and then 3 workers to drive the truck and unload it at our new place. They arrived a few minutes ahead of time, worked incredibly efficiently, and they finished the full day ahead of their estimated schedule and with nothing broken! They were careful, patient, great communicators, incredibly hard workers, and overall great to work with! Moving out of state is very stressful, and we searched through a ton of companies before making a decision. If I could give Brave Movers 100+ stars I would. Daniel was exceptional in his explanation of what they do and what I was to expect. The 3 gentlemen that came to move us were more than exceptional. So kind, respectful, courteous, and most importantly true gentlemen. I just couldn't believe the respect they gave are belongings. At the end of the move the cost was explained in detail down to the penny. It took X amount of hours plus 45 minutes. I told the leader to just round off to the next hour. These guys are outstanding. I moved from a three story townhouse into a two bedroom apartment located a couple miles away. Their team of three completed the job within 6.5 hours and cost me just over $800. Their work consisted of a full pack-up of dishes, clothing and furniture, including the disassembly and reassemble of a king and queen-size bed. They also work very fast, not a second of down time. So to start i sent this moving company a request to be moved on November 14th which is 11 days before my moving date I tried to get a quote and as we all know they will not tell you the exact cost instead they ask you to register and give them all the details and then if they don't like the job they will tell you sorry we don't have any availability after stating open availability on that date instead they will try to offer you moving on the next day so i said fine how much would it cost on the 15th ..??? the response was :hanging up the phone on me so I told them I'm going write a review on yelp they called right back and said the phone got disconnected so I told him save it I won't pay anyone who hangs up on people they said so are you going to write a review because we got disconnected and i said yes ..that was the end of it ..Do your self a favor and find someone other company because this one will leave you high & dry on your moving day! read more

These were hands down the BEST movers I have ever had (and having lived in downtown Boston for 10+ years, I've had plenty). They were clear about their price, made it easy to book/reserve online, and that was all before the dreaded moving day. They confirmed the day before, and not only were they there early, but they were the nicest, most efficient, genuinely amazing people!
