Zero stars for the interstate move by Dan and Max. On the loading day, Dan who was the leader arrived late. Max was helping himself to take my children' s stuff to use for his kids. They dissembled my furniture removing hardware and screws. They delivered my stuff over four days to the storage unit leaving the heavy furniture at the front which blocked the access to my clothes that were needed. They sent the picture of that and failed to reply to my request to have for me an access to my clothes. Dan replied 30 minutes later when they already had left, saying to me "go buy new clothes". When my stuff was loaded from the storage by another moving company who attempted to re-assemble my furniture, some hardware was missing and there were nor screws at all that Dan and Max left for me. Dan replied to me blaming it on Max who dissembled my furniture. Max never responded to me. To my horror, there were missing storage bins that I personally packed and planned to transport in my own car but they picked them up and loaded anyway saying it was too late! For the price of FIVE FIGURES that I paid them, they had no designated box to keep the custom hardware they took of my furniture nor even screws. They had my stuff for over four days transporting it over several states but blamed me as their customer for the loss of my own belongings. They failed to take any responsibility and did not care to follow up on my complaint that I addressed directly to them! BEWARE of these movers and read ALL the reviews !!! read more

From start to finish, Raimond's Movers did a fantastic job! Personalized service, they accommodated all my needs including picking up my stuff from storage in Boston and moving everything to Florida. They came at 830 am on the move day, just as they said they would, and were done within about four hours. The truck was able to fit through the gate (it wasn't an over-sized 18-wheeler). The two gentlemen were geared-to-go and treated my stuff with care and moved everything without a scratch (to my stuff or to the premises). Everything was boxed, padded, and wrapped perfectly, and they assembled the bed frames. My only minor ding is that I had to call the office a few times to get in touch with them, but it is a busy time of the year and they got back to me within a few days. Raimond's doesn't use non-company contractors, which is good. Note that if you change the move date, you may have to forfeit and repay the down payment to the movers. This almost happened to me as it seemed that at the 11th hour my Closing would be delayed, but ultimately it wasn't. You may want to provide some wiggle room between your Closing and move dates, which I neglected to do. Just a warning to folks (not related at all to Raimond's) - make sure you will be able to wire your funds from your bank on the Closing date. Most banks will not wire funds from a personal account over the phone as a security precaution, so if your bank has no branches at your new location, you will not be able to execute the transfer, unless you set it up well in advance. read more

this was my first time using movers and it couldn't have gone better!! the guys showed up right on time and were so friendly. they worked quick and efficient yet really careful with my belongings. i moved from a shared apartment into a studio 15 min down the road and it took us 2.5 hours! so quick! they had everything down to door stoppers, wrapped my dresser with the protective blanket and sealed it shut and had dollies. i was mentally ready for them to disassemble/reassemble my furniture and for it to take forever, but they didn't need to! they were able to maneuver everything in/out easily! so grateful for this amazing experience! made moving alone for the first time really smooth! read more

The movers worked really hard and definitely tried to do a good job. However the cost was significantly over the quote provided. A good portion of that is the extra person provided that wasn't communicated to us previously. Additionally some items did get damaged and the response to that was not satisfactory given we had purchased "full protection". We opted to drop the "full protection" to find a fix for the damaged items on our own with that money. I know we have lots of stuff, which is why we paid for professional services. But $2.5k out with our most valuable pieces scratched/cracked, only to move 3br for less than 2 miles? I feel like we we were being taken advantage of and won't return again. read more

I was in a pinch and needed a mover fast to move from the northeast to the southeast, and I was lucky to reach them on a Monday morning. By noon they had provided me with a very competitive quote and offered to pack and move the next day, coinciding with my needs. Alex and the team arrived the next day and, in 6-7 hours, had my house packed in boxes and in the truck. They departed that evening, and four days later, I had everything where I needed it. We moved a two bedroom+study condo to a local storage facility on October 31, 2023. The final price was at the low end of their quote. I really liked the ability to declare all my furniture and to receive an accurate estimate. The three men were friendly, fast and efficient. The lead gave us good advice regarding rental and use of blankets, how items would be wrapped for the move and which insurance was best. They were exceptionally quiet and fast wrapping everything and getting it out to the truck. Not one mark on the walls! I'll be using this company again when I move out of the storage unit. read more

These guys did a great job moving me out of state. They showed up early, took the time to label everything, disassemble​ and wrap all my furniture. On the other end of the move they arrived way faster than I had expected, which was nice. They reassembled my furniture, I signed some papers and they were on their way. My only complaint is that the stickers they use to label things sort of took the finish off my furniture. Not a big deal since my furniture is on the cheap side, but worth mentioning. At the end of the day all my stuff arrived intact, which is really all you hope for in a move. True professionals for a great price, and I would use them again for sure. read more

Movers arrived on time, very efficient and completed in under the estimated window. Handled some awkward heavy pieces (large mirror, extra long dresser) very well up and down stairs, through hallways, during a crazy almost 90° day. Definitely follow their tips about being as prepared and prepacked as possible before they arrive, helps keep things moving smoothly. They were all so great about checking in a few days ahead of time to confirm the timing and any final details that may have been missed during the initial quote (such as boxes!). Don't forget about the cash discount, allows you to save a bit of money (and put the savings toward a tip for the movers). Absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectations! Raimond's movers moved my wife and I from Boston, MA to Fredericksburg,Texas as if that's not challenging enough I had an entire maker space to move as well. Unlike other moving companies there were no transfers to other movers/contractors they drove my entire house's possessions as well as my maker space straight through to Texas!! My house was pretty straight forward, but we did have many pieces of heavy glass furniture which they skillfully disassembled and reassembled without incident. My maker space equipment was, however, WAY more delicate and included a 400 lb laser cutter with a water cooled glass laser tube in it that stuck out of one end (see photo). Once here in Texas and set up all my 3d printers and the laser engraver were in perfect condition no tweaking even needed. I have to admit I did not expect my laser tube and mirrors to stay in alignment, but somehow these guys were so gentle that my laser just worked right out of the truck not even one delicate mirror needed to be adjusted. These guys are like magicians. They were so respectful and professional that by the end I felt we were more like friends than business acquaintances. I highly recommend them to anyone that doesn't want the normal nightmare had with most other traditional moving companies I have used. Epic performance!!!! Hopefully I never have to move again, but if I do, I would fly these guys out here to execute the move. read more

So happy with these guys - they showed up 30 minutes into the 3-hour window provided and were totally ready to go. They zipped around, padded everything, hauled my zillion boxes and bins out to the truck, and in just about an hour we were on the move. My new place is only a two minute drive, but unfortunately the only parking is on the opposite side of the street from the building. On top of that, there are 20 steps up from the street to get to my building, so it wasn't exactly a short trip back and forth. They energetically (at least they looked energetic to me, maybe they were exhausted but just very good at hiding it) trekked back and forth and were great about asking specifically where to put stuff so I didn't have to move it all around again later. Start to finish: 2.5 hours (I did have everything boxed and disassembled before they arrived). The only small thing I would have changed is how much notice I got before their arrival; I missed their call while I was out putting something in my car, and I had hoped to connect early enough to tell them that actually they had to come to the back of the building to access my apartment. My fiance drove by about 5 minutes after that call, when their truck was parked out front and, called to tell me it were there. But, once I figured out where they were, they pulled the truck around back and got to work. In the past, movers have called maybe 30 minutes before to say they were on their way; that would have been preferable here. But, this aside, overall a great experience, and would happily book them again. read more

SWARM! SWARM!! 8 am appointment, BAM! There they are. We point out the things that are going, the things that are staying, things loaded on to truck first, things that should be taken last. They were like bees, zooming around, wrapping things...1 1/2 hours later they were done. Off to new apartment, 1 1/2 hours later, everything was loaded off in the order I needed, everything went into the room it belonged in. No one grimaced or complained about the 12 50lb boxes of records that follow my husband everywhere we go. These guys are the best. read more

The three movers took four and a half hours to load my luggage onto their truck. They asked for a 20-minute break except for lunch. It took them another three and a half hours to put down the luggage. And they put things down everywhere regardless of what I marked. They did not reassemble the disassembled bed. They did not wrap the furniture safely in a blanket. They showed kindness by putting more tape on the already packed box and breaking down the legs of the $10 Ikea table. They took too much time to move a child's chair and a shoebox one by one. That was the factor that made me pay more. They didn't even have the right tools. The furniture had a big scratch and the walls were damaged. I paid only $500 for the last move of the same size. I had to pay over 1,000 dollars this time. read more
