The moving crew was great, but the people giving the quotes are not the movers that you work with. They estimated it would take around 8 hours and it wound up taking the crew 15. This really should have been a two day job, the crew and we were exhausted by the end of the day. I'm not really upset about the cost difference because I knew what their hourly rate was. The crew really wanted to get it all wrapped up for us by the end of the day instead of stretching to another day because they had another job the next day bright and early. The booking office is really putting their workers through the wringer and I don't appreciate that. The crew was kind and delicate with our items. They were being gracious and offering to do whatever we wanted with regards to helping pack remaining items, disassembling and reassembling furniture, and organizing things at the new house. I may have taken note of their time for these things if it hadn't been clear by noon that this was going to already be a very long day. By 10pm I was just happy to have everything remaining that we own in the garage. So I did enjoy the crew, but if you go with this company and have a lot of stuff then you need to do some legwork yourself to get an accurate estimate. I had a three bedroom 1700 sqft house with a large basement and garage and it took 15 hours and cost $4k. read more

They also had a great plan for packing the truck, so that offloading was quick and smooth. Most importantly, nothing was broke or damaged. We recently moved in town from a 2 bedroom in Natick to a residential home 10minutes down the street. The team at Pheonix was simple to book and easy, they asked for a few pictures of my department and the estimate was very accurate. 3 gents came at 745am and packed up the whole apt and moved everything in the new house. We were done by 130pm. Total was around 800$ (thos was for 3 large couches, a master bed set, a full baby room, peleton, desks, desk chairs, large flat screen TV, TV stand). The guys that did the moving were excellent. They were careful with all of my items, wrapping pretty much everything in blankets - even things I wasn't at all worried about. They were very efficient and offered to help set up additional furniture in my new place.
