If you care about your sanity---please, please, please, PLEASE do not use this company. They did an interstate move for me from Boston to California. They're absolutely unprofessional in the worst way: they did not protect my beautiful wooden furniture at all. Much of it is completely damaged. I purchased full coverage insurance and they are still not letting me file a claim. Their insurance is a complete sham---no protection for household goods. I have filed a claim with the DOT, FMSCA, BBB. You should stay FAR FAR FAR away. Note that many of their reviews are fake and actually are from former employees or current employees. Don't believe me? Check Yelp's "non-recommended" reviews. Many of them are 5*. Why do you think they're no longer up---because people realized they're fake and completely manufactured. This company is honestly so unethical, I'm still shocked. I spend over 11k on a cross-country moved, and was left with over 18k worth of damage. Last piece of evidence---in case you still don't believe me---check out someone else's lawsuit against this company (CIV SB 2414764), filed in San Bernardino County. That person had multiple items impacted (in excess of 60k worth of damage)--including multiple items from their late partner. This company is DESPICABLE. read more

I really hate to write a negative review. However, this company is really really unethical. They sent me a contract to sign, and then when they sent it back to me, the details had been completely changed, yet with my signature affixed to it still. It's literally contract fraud, but they're getting away with it. I used Prime Moving for an interstate move. My main issues were the amount of damage my furniture sustained as well as the unprofessional behavior of the moving team. When they arrived to pack my items they had insufficient materials to wrap my goods. They started using my towels and other household items as protection. Is it any surprise that much of what I shipped was dinged and damaged. I'm still waiting for their "insurance team" to handle my claim and to get some compensation. I haven't received anything for the damage they did to my household items. Oh well, I guess! That's what thousands of dollars gets me! I used Prime Moving for a cross-country move. They offered packing and moving services. However, their packing services were extremely unprofessional. They didn't even bother to wrap some of my most delicate items (lamp shades, pots) or furniture (wood legs of furniture, chairs, dressers). Unsurprisingly, when my items arrived, there was substantial damage. Do not believe in their "insurance". It is a total scam. I was unable to make a claim with this company. It is literally federal violation of the code of federal regulations, like another poster pointed out. This company is operating illegally and many of the positive reviews are completely fake here. If you do end up booking with this company, I have three suggestions: (i) take photos and document everything, (ii) pay with credit card (including your tip) as a dispute with your credit card agency will be the only recourse you have if something goes wrong, and (iii) pray that they aren't lazy on the day of your move. read more

I'm so sorry to say that I had one of the worst experiences with any business ever with Prime Moving. I hired Prime Moving to do an interstate move for me from the Boston area on August 25, 2024. Unfortunately, when I received my items I found many of them to be shattered/damaged. For example, much of my furniture was dinged/scraped/marked and my leather sofa and bench were marked in multiple spots. My wood bookcase had a big gash through it too. I added some photos so you can see. Prime Moving would not let me actually file an insurance claim with their insurance company. In fact, the insurance "proof" they provided me (also attached) shows that they don't even have the correct liability coverage for damaged goods. I'd recommend avoiding this company if you have to do a move. If you must use them, put the charges on a credit card. Yes, there's a bit of a fee, but at least this way you have the ability to dispute their sketchy behavior. read more

We recently hired Prime Moving, and we couldn't be more impressed with their service. They arrived right on time, which is always a good start. Throughout the entire move, they were incredibly careful, making sure not to damage or break anything -- and that included both my furniture and fragile items. The team was also very friendly, especially Nick (he even posed for this review's pic :)), taking the time to engage with me and my husband. They went above and beyond in helping us place everything exactly where we wanted it in the new apartment, which made settling in so much easier. Another thing worth mentioning is their pricing, which was very reasonable. There were no hidden fees, only minor charges for consumables like the tape they used to secure our items. Prime Moving was fantastic! From the time I booked, Tom was super very helpful and responded quickly to any requests (including my ask to push the move back by 1 day - no problem!). And I can't say enough great things about our move team - Nick and Dos! They arrived on time (to the minute!) and packed everything up quickly and efficiently. They even arrived at the new condo before I did! They unloaded everything perfectly. They even moved one or two things around so we could make sure we liked where we liked them in the room. Unless you want massive challenges recovering any damaged items. More detail: If you're moving anything valuable, avoid them at all costs. You'll be saving yourself a lot of money and headaches! I contacted Prime Moving to handle a move from a third floor apartment to a first floor home. Nick and the two other movers who arrived (I'm sorry, I didn't catch their names!) were timely, communicative, asked questions when they needed and worked efficiently to move us out in just under five hours. That five hours included two hours of drive time, so it felt like they finished everything insanely fast!
