I had a lot of items including some heavy furniture pieces. They were able to pack everything and move everything safely without any damages. The boxes and tape do cost extra if you choose to ask them to help pack, so I recommend providing some duct tape and boxes. The costs vary as well but I found their pricing to be very reasonable and the best priced compared to other movers I have used. They were super communicative and were also really friendly people! I enjoyed talking to them during the move. Overall, I highly recommend them and would definitely hire them again for any moving and packing services.

Amanat was quick to respond, I spent about 20 minutes on the phone giving a detailed inventory, got the quote and paid the deposit. The estimate for my two bed two bath with packing and unpacking was 8 hours. The three person crew arrived on time. I walked them through the apartment and they got started. Unfortunately we were five hours in and they had still not finished packing. By the time they were finally unloading the truck, we were on the tenth hour. My husband was putting beds back together and we told them to forget about unpacking, as that would have taken them another two days. The crew was very young and inexperienced. I often found them checking their phones rather than focusing on the job. And as I've been unpacking I've been more and more frustrated with how they packed. Furniture was damaged, items boxed in totally random order (I.e., kitchen items and clothes in the same box), and nothing labeled. I don't know how they were planning to be able to unpack as planned. Some items were wrapped up so securely that didn't need it while other more valuable items were tossed in a box without any protection at all. And the amount of tape used was obscene. I've spent hours and hours cutting through it all. It was completely unnecessary to use that much. And they applied tape directly on items that are now ruined, like decorative storage boxes, high end sneaker boxes and expensive dresses. This was by far the worst moving experience I've had.

This really should have been a two day job, the crew and we were exhausted by the end of the day. I'm not really upset about the cost difference because I knew what their hourly rate was. The crew really wanted to get it all wrapped up for us by the end of the day instead of stretching to another day because they had another job the next day bright and early. The booking office is really putting their workers through the wringer and I don't appreciate that. The crew was kind and delicate with our items. They were being gracious and offering to do whatever we wanted with regards to helping pack remaining items, disassembling and reassembling furniture, and organizing things at the new house. I may have taken note of their time for these things if it hadn't been clear by noon that this was going to already be a very long day. By 10pm I was just happy to have everything remaining that we own in the garage. So I did enjoy the crew, but if you go with this company and have a lot of stuff then you need to do some legwork yourself to get an accurate estimate. I had a three bedroom 1700 sqft house with a large basement and garage and it took 15 hours and cost $4k.

The called 15…read moreminutes before they were supposed to arrive to say they were actually running 2-3 hours behind which was a little annoying but I understand sometimes things take longer than expected and they offered me a 5% discount to make up for it which was appreciated. The 2 guys were very speedy which I also really appreciated. However, at the end one of the movers pushed not once or twice but three times for me to tip them more and was very impatient while I was finding my card information to pay over the phone. I work in the service industry myself and deeply understand the dependence on tips. However, the aggressive pushing for more several times brought down my experience a lot. I truly wish I was in a position to offer more, but having to pay nearly $500 to move the contents of a single room a mile down the road and being a student meant that what I paid and tipped was already way more than I can afford. The other mover who did not push for more was very nice.

If moving is a stressful event, these are the guys you want pulling into your driveway. HUGE smiles, greetings, friendly! All put me at ease immediately, and we began the process. Sam explained all the billing to me, and we headed into and around the house to tour all the furniture and boxes they were to load up and move away. From the first second (NOT an exaggeration), they dove in, and boxes were being moved in almost a seamless fashion. A bit over an hour later (maybe closer to an hour and a half), they were on their way. They arrived - again - all smiles, checking in with me: how was I doing? And we toured the new house and explained where everything would go. They hustled, delivering boxes and furniture to all the designated rooms. They asked questions if they were unsure. AND for me, probably one of the biggest, most helpful moments, we negotiated for them to assemble my youngest's bed. I could not have done it. They worked tirelessly (well, maybe they were tired - but their assurances and smiles belied any weariness or frustration) and assembled the most complicated bed I have ever seen! Both my child and I agreed - had it been left up to us, we probably would have abandoned it.
