I was shocked at how quickly and seamless they were able move my heavy furniture and handled it with care. I really appreciated how they wrapped all the pieces before moving them. We moved from Brookline, MA to Princeton, NJ. We had a superior experience working w/ Mozart Moving. Appointment was straight-forward process. They were flexible to change the 12pm pick up time to 8-9am. On the day of moving, I got a notification at around 7:30 that they are on their way and will reach home by 8:15am. They were right on time. The team was professional and completed the packing and loading in 3.5 hours. One of the reasons that I picked them was that they promised delivery next day. They reached NJ by 9am next day and unloaded all the stuff. They had named the boxes and that really helped in keeping items at the right place. The great: Originally, we thought we'd only need "partial packing" but we were unable to pack ANYTHING ourselves with our work schedules. The three movers showed up and were surprised (understandably so), and took about 3 hours to *expertly* pack everything even down to the smallest Knick knack without any breaks! We also had a behemoth of a desk that we ended up trashing and didn't take with us. The good: Coordinating a move date and time was super easy online and over the phone! Responses were swift and it was easy to get in touch with the company. You can list photos and items online so there are no surprises day-of. The deposit (for our Large 1 bedroom) was low ($200). The movers were pleasant and economical with the packing paper/ boxes/ tape used (you pay for everything they provide), so no money wasted there. The ugly: We scheduled a secondary pickup of a sleeper sofa from my in-laws house (5 min away), and they struggled to get it out of the room. When they finally got it to our new apartment, our staircase down was too narrow. I suggested moving it through the large bulkhead windows into the room downstairs, and they said no and rushed out. We ended up having to hire Boston Best Rate Movers to come move it through the window and they did so within 30 min! We moved and paid by check on 9/6; it's 9/24 now and the check still hasn't been deposited. All told: Setting up the move was easy and the movers were nice, but they really needed an extra person for the entire move. We spent $3000 to move a large bedroom apartment and one sleeper sofa 11 minutes away, and it took 11 hours. They didn't even get the sleeper sofa downstairs (again, we should have measured the stairs), and we had to spend $450+ more to hire ANOTHER mover to finish the job. $3500 is too much for what we did. Will not be hiring them again for this reason, but don't let that dissuade you. They work well when everything is planned and listed- they don't do surprises of any kind well though, so if you're doing a simple move they would be great. read more

Moving during a global pandemic is terrible, but moving twice is even worse. Fortunately, we hired Mozart both times and they were amazing. The first time was me moving out of my condo and putting stuff in a storage unit and the second was moving that same stuff PLUS the contents of my boyfriend's apartment to our new house. Both times were made so easy thanks to Mozart. First of all, I hate calling anywhere, but Yan was courteous and knowledgeable on the phone, giving me accurate time frames and quotes. Secondly, the movers were prompt, polite, and professional, working tirelessly amidst heat and curious pets to get the job done. They wrap everything carefully, take apart furniture, and put it together again too. Also, I'm not sure how they remember where to put everything based on my hurried instructions, but they sure did! We had a great experience with Edwin and his team from Mozart Moving for our local move. They packed up our kitchen very neatly and efficiently (all delicate/glass items made it unscathed). They disassembled and wrapped up our furniture items carefully to load into the truck and re-assembled them for us in the new place. This past weekend Edwin, Juan, Anton and Slava from Mozart movers moved us from our former condo in Southie to our new home less than a mile away. Our experience could not have been better! Edwin and his team were efficient and took extreme care with our furniture and other valuables. They even found creative and effective ways to move larger, more difficult items out of the house when things couldn't make it down the main stairs because of a turn at the top. When unpacking they placed all of our belongings (furniture, packed boxes, artwork, etc) in the rooms where we had designated them to go. We have accumulated a lot of stuff in our 2bd/2ba apartment and decided to leave packing part for the professionals, so it was a really long working day for the guys. This is second time I've used Mozart. I hired Mozart to move for my cross country move from Boston to Seattle and it was a fantastic experience. After calling several other well known moving companies, the quotes were confusing and it was clear that my stuff would be moved from truck to truck, warehouse to warehouse, and there would be no clear arrival time. Mozart was just the opposite, the same team that packed our house, was the same one that loaded the truck, drove the truck, and arrived in Seattle. Highly recommend these guys for interstate and local moves. I moved some furniture from Massachusetts to New York City this weekend, and I'm super happy with the work they did. Eugene and Max wrapped everything and packed it carefully into the truck, which was very clean. They called and texted me to keep me up to date on where they were and when they would arrive. The price point was also extremely reasonable, it was half of the quotes I got from other movers! The only complaint I have is that it was very hard to communicate with the company if I had any questions leading up to the move. Highly recommended. I used Mozart Moving for a move from Boston to the South Shore, with 2 additional stops along the way. They were excellent. Professional, on time (even a little early!), fast and friendly. My apartment in Boston was especially challenging - an old building with a very narrow spiral staircase. They did an excellent job. They moved me from a storage unit into an apartment in just over two hours. They were efficient and incredibly competent with pleasant customer-focused attitudes. The team from Mozart was fantastic. I'd used Gentle Giant for my prior two moves, most recently 17 years ago, and I never thought I'd use anyone else. But when I called them for a quote this time, the price was very high. (Even worse, their web estimate was a bait-and-switch -- the real quote was far higher, which they blamed on longer drive time than the web one accounts for, despite inputs for origin and destination.) So, I gave another couple of companies the chance to quote. Both companies came right out, were clearly pros in assessing the move, and the estimates were reasonably close. Mozart's was both lower and more carefully prepared, so I went with them, hoping it wasn't a case of getting what you pay for in comparison to Gentle Giant. I needn't have worried. The Mozart team worked together efficiently, carefully, and with very apparent expertise and professionalism. They handled a hoist of a long bureau from the second floor like there was nothing to it, and got that same bureau up on the other side in what seemed like a physics-defying feat. No collisions at all, even on the way up and down our twisty, low-ceilinged stairwell. We haven't finished unpacking yet, but so far, I haven't seen any hint of preventable damage to our things -- including stained glass panels, large mirrors, etc. AND they came in below the low end of their estimate, too. All around, an excellent team that did an excellent job -- highly recommended. read more

This was the best moving experience I have ever had!!! This company is fantastic. Professional, very careful nd caring, hardworking, efficient , wonderful guys who helped with packing one dy and the next day they managed to fit everything in one truck, and it had been estimated I might need two. Every piece of furniture was wrapped in a clean, heavy packing blanket so everything arrived in perfect condition. And they were flexible. I had a flat tire on my drive from Newbury to Virginia and they put off their delivery until I was back on the road and arriving at the destination. And Alisa, who helps scheduling everything is also wonderful Besides doing a great job of scheduling my packing needs (which I kept changing) and moving, she was kind and patient when I called thinking one of my boxes of china had not arrived...and of course it had arrived I just needed to be more thorough in my search. She said that the movers had NEVER lost anything and I am sure that is true. Look NO FURTHER. You will never find a better moving company AND they are not expensive!!! read more

I saw Mozart referred on the networking site Nextdoor, and then I Googled them - could not believe a company that works so closely with people at one of the most stressful time of their lives had nothing but 5 star reviews, but now I see why. These guys were AMAZING. We were moving from a 1000 sq ft second floor walk up condo, with stuff in the condo, the basement, and a separate storage unit, to a 3000 square foot house built over 300 years ago. So, small weird doorways, small weird stairs, occasionally low ceilings. The 3-man team from Mozart handled all of this with so much aplomb and professionalism. Also, our day was a day of things just...going wrong. The two parking spots we had reserved from the city with ample notice and clear postings were *both* illegally parked up the morning of the move. When we got to the storage facility, some idiot amateur had parked his Uhaul trailer at a diagonal across all the available spaces. It started raining when we got to the new house. Some furniture pieces which had fit fine out of the condo had to be taken apart to get inside the new house - and these guys just kept working steadily away, unruffled, always pleasant to interact with, getting the job done. They wrapped stuff that needed wrapping (...carefully and thoroughly, I might add), took stuff apart and put it back together when they had to, got strange shapes through strange places with zero damage to stuff or walls. They had estimated the labor for the day at about 6 hours and it ended up being 9. More money, but totally understandable, and we still tipped them all well as it was clearly not an issue of them "taking too long" but the move just being harder than it had any right to be. That's a real long hard day of labor and they did a simply wonderful job of it. FWIW their hourly rate was also less expensive than one of the other established local companies I got a quote from, and I found their online platform and communication from start to finish super clear. Anyway. I hate moving. I hope I don't have to move again for a long, long, time. But if I do I will call Mozart again. read more

We only had one peice of a antique furniture moved from my parents house to our home in the same city .This bureau as it was antique , was the old solid wood , very heavy peice .They moved it from my parents second floor of their home to our first floor where it was going to go .
