I used them twice. Hard workers. They moved a 4000sq. ft. house. The only thing I didn't like is they tell you to supply furniture blankets and straps but they don't return them to you. Their time estimate was pretty accurate; this stuff always takes longer than we expect, but even with some extra time, our total invoice was lower than the "starting" estimates we got elsewhere. I got four estimates before I decided on RELOQ, not only because it was the cheapest estimate, but because Daniel, who seems to run the operation, was so helpful and reassuring. The move itself went flawlessly. Everything was very well protected before moving, and the crew expertly disassembled and reassembled some furniture that I had no idea could be taken apart. They carried a monster elliptical to the second floor without complaint, and when all was moved and reassembled, asked me if we needed anything else. I asked them to move my sectional, which had already been reassembled, about a foot from where it was, and they cheerfully picked up the entire thing and moved it over. Also, I was given an estimate and the total price was exactly as expected. These guys are strong as bulls, but careful and courteous. I can't recommend Daniel and his team more highly. They also put together an Ikea queen bed and new bed in a box with no help from me! Daniel and his crew are working at maximum effort to build a reputation for value, trust and excellence. **Communication**: Daniel called back the same day I requested a quote, and at every stage kept me informed. They arrived on time and kept me up to date on when they expected to finish. The crew chief did a walkthrough to establish what would be moving and any special requests, and the packers thoughtfully checked in whenever there was a further question. **Care**: they kept like items together, protected fragile items and labeled boxes well. We had the same movers at both ends, meaning they already knew the general locations in the new house and how to reassemble the few pieces of furniture that needed reassembly. They set us up for success in unpacking and made sure we could sleep well the night of the move. **Hustle*: At every stage I felt they were making good decisions and earning the money. They used enough packing material to protect (but without waste) and they moved with purpose (but without rush). This year I decided to hire a moving company to get my belongings from Massachusetts to the Midwest. But I was skeptical as a first-time full service mover (minus the packing, which I did myself). I read about the difference between brokers and movers, I read about the many scams, and I checked out each company I wanted to work with on the FMCSA website to see pertinent details. I didn't want a low quote that would change after they already loaded my stuff. I got quotes from about seven different companies, including Mayflower, U-haul U-box, PODS, OM Van Lines, Zippy Shell, Zip Moving and Storage, and more local movers such as RELOQ. I found RELOQ through Yelp's project option, where you enter your needs and Yelp sends the details to a few companies to provide you with quotes. I declined Daniel's quote at first because although the price was fair, it was out of my price range. Daniel worked with me on the cost to better match my budget and provided some of the best customer service I've received to date across any industry. Daniel and two additional team members arrived on time on a Thursday afternoon. By Saturday morning, I had my stuff again. Other services did not have a guaranteed drop off date like RELOQ did, but instead had a 7-14 day window which left me really anxious for obvious reasons. So I'm quite glad I trusted Daniel. They arrived earlier than the stated time for both pickup and dropoff. For pickup, he and his team carefully disassembled my bed, thoughtfully wrapped my furniture, and loaded my two bedroom/one bathroom apartment into their truck all within about an hour. Upon dropoff, they finished the unloading and assembly in two hours. The time differential is due largely to the environment in both locations. I moved from a first floor apartment in a more suburban area to a high rise in a more downtown area. It was not just exiting my front door and going right to the truck, here they had to navigate a loading dock, a freight elevator, and another elevator up multiple floors in a very busy building. They were also delayed by miscommunication from my building management. Even so, they got it all done in two hours and I cannot recommend them highly enough. read more

The three-person team loaded the truck and moved me into my new 3rd floor walkup unbelievably quickly and efficiently, quickly innovated solutions for unexpected problems (e.g. hoisting a box spring down from a second floor porch balcony!), and remained upbeat and positive throughout. Also, they are careful! I packed a LOT of glass and fragile items, and have been unpacking for two days and not a single thing has been broken or damaged in any way. Daniel and his crew are straight from heaven. We had a move that was time sensitive and I thought there was no way we were going to be able to make it happen .. Daniel had other ideas. He was ready and rearing to go and assured me everything was going to be great and that his team could make our move happen. We have some problem animals that we needed to put into a different room and, without thought, they came up with a plan and accommodated us.
