We just moved out of our 3 bedroom home with tons of stuff in the basement from our family of 4 AND an upright piano. Mini Moves executed it flawlessly. I really liked that they came in person before the move to assess what needed to happen, and had a great crew get the move done. They were very friendly and efficient. Amazingly, they finished the job ahead of schedule. They even put back together all of our furniture and helped us get all of our basement stuff back into a basement and placed on the shelves we built. For those of you who are thinking of using them for a piano, they were so careful that it didn't lose its tune when it got to our new place. Not a scratch! They deserve more than 5 stars! Highly recommend. read more

Used and recommend. Great experiences by us and friends. Efficient, careful, polite. Highly recommend read more

Rude and unprofessional staff. They spit in front of your home while working. There are plenty of good movers. Stay away from this company.

Mini Moves was very responsive and reasonably priced. I moved from one floor of a building to another, and the three guys they sent did a great job - fast, efficient, and very polite. They dis- and re-assembled a couple of beds and (literally) did all the heavy lifting. Highly recommend. read more

This company was referred to me and seems like a dream concept. I contacted them in a timely matter and they left me in the lurch. I made several attempts to contact Greg and he said he would get back to me, never did . I'm extending the time of contact to be dismal. When I spoke to Dave and reminded him of Greg and mine's conversation, he was like well you didn't speak to me and we're booked and basically had an attitude and hung up on me . So my memorial day is dedicated to Dave when I called three weeks ago you seemed eager for my business. If you have to use this business, speak to Greg bypass Dave he needs some serious training and Customer Service. read more

I hired them during the pandemic. Awful movers. The tall English guy with the tiny ponytail kept glaring at me suspiciously. They lost bolts to my dining table, so now it's wiggly. They broke a couple of things. I complained to the owner. I tried to set up a time with him to fix my table, but he kept whining about how he's gotta drive his kid to some sporting event. I only had that particular date and time off from work. I totally get that family is important but if you're an owner of a company, and your employees messed up, either you personally fix the problem or get your best employee to. Will not hire them again or recommend. read more

Highly recommend! I had a medical emergency with my elderly parents and needed to hire a mover on the spot to assist with moving bedroom furniture to first floor living. The owners worked with me to quickly send movers to help when I was in a crisis. They were incredibly kind and respectful. I agree with all the positive reviews that the Mini Moves & More team is very responsive, fast, efficient, polite and reasonably priced. I'm saving their number in my phone. read more

I have used Mini Moves & More three times in the past two years, once to move a business, and twice to move family members - they were fantastic! I also used them 12 years ago when my in-laws were downsizing from their home of 50 years to a condo in senior living. Mini Moves & More were So competent and So polite. The business move was super straight forward - and took a few hours. The second move involving moving my mother in law from her condo to a smaller assisted living unit went seamlessly - and they were very kind and sensitive to the emotionally packed situation. The third move was the most complicated - moving furniture from one home - offloading some furniture at the second home and loading more furniture from that house to drive to a third house over 100 miles away. They were so clear about the process and everything went onto the truck in an order to facilitate easy removal at the two locations. They are amazingly efficient, patient and careful - everything made it intact and everyone had a smile on their faces at the end of the process - that's quite an endorsement. read more

We haves used them twice , find them easy to deal with and accommodating. Quick and fast service but took the time to be sure items were protected . highly recommend read more

Hired them to move my daughter. On time, efficient, courteous. Not an easy move in some respects. Tight corners & stairs. Definitely a great value. I highly recommend. read more

Extremely satisfied. The furniture that they moved was extremely heavy and they did it no problem with zero damage to my walls or furniture

Mini Moves provided the best moving services I have ever experienced- and I have worked doing corporate furniture installations. They came recommended by 2 separate acquaintances. The experience: We moved from a 2 bedroom apartment in North Cambridge to a 3 story house in Arlington. Dave came and gave a reasonable quote. To do my due diligence, I quoted with another company and the price was double mini moves' quote. I confirmed w mini moves, with a $50 deposit. A week before my move I called to change my move date and they accommodated graciously and without a fee. Day of, three movers showed up on time(even 15 minutes early) and ready to work. Before they started, they walked the place to check out all the pieces and made a plan. Then they worked for 4 solid hours lifting heavy pieces. The team had the right equipment, worked together, were very experienced, professional and knew how to properly get heavy pieces around tight corners and up small staircases. The team and service were impressive. At the end, the move was below the quoted price. It was the best moving experience. I write this review because Mini Moves & More deserves praise and recognition for the outstanding services they offer. My experience really was that good and they didn't even ask for a review. read more

Very efficient. Detailed labeling our items on paper so we could confirm their delivery. All our items including breakables were intact. Pleasant staff in both states. We moved from Chicago to Boston. Easy to reach by phone and email. Sent text messages so we were kept informed. Thank you! Definitely will use them in the future! read more

Have used Mini Moves for 10-plus years. Recently hired two employees to move furniture out of funeral home. Reliable, professional, trustworthy, and fair in pricing. Will definitely hire again. read more

There is not enough room here to tell you about this Company and especially the folks that run it and the true heros, the muscle. It was a difficult move dealing with items that needed to go to a location 50 miles away. My initial call was promptly answered, concern shown and a promise to show up for a quote, ON TIME ! Dave gave us a quote and instantly hired MiniMoves. 29 Stars. The Best of The Best. read more

Kudos to Greg and his team at Mini Moves and More. No video walk-through, huge forms to fill out. Dave came initially to evaluate the job, we accepted the quote, and communication was made via email and phoning. They moved some furniture and household things from a house into an apartment, stored furniture, equipment, and documents, and then moved apartment and the stored items into another house. That our things were stored separately, not communally, factored largely into our decision to use Mini Moves and More, and everything was undamaged and clean when we received it. The crews and staff were very pleasant and professional. Any small glitches were handled quickly and efficiently. Mini Moves and More make you feel good about the world! read more

Mini Moves & More helped us with an in-building move of a 1.5 BR apartment last week. They were tremendous! Super efficient, careful, and speedy. Will absolutely hire them again, and have already recommended them to others! Thanks for such great work, MM&M team! read more

We had a good experience with Mini Moves last year when we needed a very heavy treadmill moved across town and brought up to a third-floor unit. My reasons for not giving five stars are because I needed to communicate with them via voicemail as no one answered the phone both to schedule the appt and for day of move questions. We had been given a window for the move which the company missed and it was important to get updated info as I was coordinating with another party to purchase the treadmill. I was also told that I would be called before they arrived as it was not my house they were going to. But they showed up without notice so I needed to rush across town. When I questioned the timing of their pick up the movers said that they had been given a different timeframe. Ultimately everything worked out, and the movers did a fantastic job. But a little more communication would have been helpful. read more

I called Mini Moves this past week to check on availability. I left a message with detailed information, requesting they call me back. I called back about four hours later. A gentleman picked up the phone, asked if I was the one who left message earlier. I confirmed that was me. At that time he told me he was on the other line and get back to me in 10 minutes. It is now four days later, and they never followed up. I suggest if they would like to keep their reviews positive, then they take the five minutes for a return call, say yes, or no to job you are requesting. This would then leave customers comfortable with feedback, and the choice to try them for future jobs or recommend them. This is a MAJOR FAIL for this business. read more

I Asked for a quote from this company. 4 Pieces of furniture, that I moved with a 2 wheeler previously (With 2 of them) and 2 I carried on my own with my son. Belmont to Watertown (about 2 miles) This is the response I got "Thanks for looking into Mini Moves and More. From what you described we would send a two man crew along with our 16ft truck to take care of your moving needs. I estimate your move taking 3-4 hours and costing $645." . This is more than twice the priced of everyone else who responded. Instead of saying they aren't interested in the job they are blowing out the length of time it will take to perform the job. If you hire them I would not only watch that they are working, I would record them. read more

Update: Bad experience: The last (and final) time I used them one of the movers was stoned. He dropped my things and laughed about it, went into my laptop to change what music I was listening to in the other room from where they were working. ___________________ Previous great experience: * Decent price * My items were well cared for * No dings in the walls * Came on time, with a reminder call * Allowed me to reschedule..... twice :) * Great customer service on the phone * Efficient * Very polite movers * Did not take a long break It's a pain moving in Boston at the end of August/beginning of September amongst college students arriving en mass. Amidst the heat and traffic, Mini Moves was the easiest part of my move. read more

I was extremely satisfied with Mini Moves! It was a joy to have their help -- nothing ever seems to go as planned when it comes to moving, but Mini Moves was an exception. On the day of my move, my movers Bryan and Greg called me well in advance of my time slot and let me know that they were running ahead of schedule and could come early. They were extremely friendly and easy going. They were very quick and careful with my things. I would use Mini Moves again in a heartbeat. It was a smooth process, a friendly process, and a good price. Their estimate and final charges were half of what some other companies quoted. Well done, Mini Moves! read more

These guys are AWESOME! We are getting ready for an Open House, and we needed help getting the ton of heavy boxes and extra furniture to the basement ( and also relocate stuff to different rooms). They came in and in a little over an hour they had everything in it's place. Cheerfully. Everyone from the guy answering the phone to the guys who did all that heavy lifting were an absolute joy. I gave the number to my Real Estate agent to add to her list of recommended services! read more

Moved from Cambridge to Belmont in late April and had a great experience. Our movers were courteous and didn't waste any time. They were careful with our possessions, on time, and easy to work with. I felt terrible that one of them was severely allergic to cats since we have 2! Of all the companies we got a quote from, Mini Moves & More was the most reasonable. Even though it was a small job, they took it seriously. Would definitely recommend! read more

WIth only three days notice, George over at Mini Moves managed to find a mutually convenient time to move my daughter from Allston to Cambridge. It's not easy finding a professional, affordable (and most importantly, not "sketchy") moving company for such a short haul. The guys were courteous, professional, and didn't waste a minute. After calling around taking bids, I can honestly say they were right in the middle. But their service surpassed our expectations by far. It was worth EVERY PENNY. And was, by far, the most stress free move I've ever seen. We will definitely use MiniMovers again, and I recommend them without reservation. read more

This is a follow up to a review I gave a month ago. I contacted Moni Moves to move some heavy furniture in my house after a good experience when they moved my son home from college. A few items too heavy for myself to tackle without risk of damage, either to the items or myself. The two guys arrived on time and were very professional and careful. They wanted to be sure that everything was perfectly placed before leaving. Cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend them. read more

Mini Moves handled three...well...mini-moves that enabled me to have my hardwood floors refinished without the hassle and expense of completely removing my furniture. They were prompt, professional, and pleasant, and they went the extra mile to help me dispose of boxes and rug pads at the end point. The crew treated my belongings as though theirs, and they didn't leave until everything was just so. The final bill was precisely as estimated--a fraction of the cost of the big companies. Can't say enough about this terrific company and everyone I had contact with! read more

These guys are awesome. Needed to move a new (used) fridge from my garage to my second floor. After a first attempt failed up the narrow stairs, they returned another day to hoist it over the deck. When the last doorframe to the kitchen was too small, they managed to get it in there through the breakfast nook opening. Creative solutions, happy to make it work any way they can! read more

These guys are fast and efficient. Their prices are reasonable. Cheapest piano movers I could find!

These guys moved us twice. Both times they have been punctual and worked quickly. Good attitudes, nice office guy (I think his name is George). I hope I don't have to move again any time soon, but if I do I will definitely use them again. FWIW on the first move I had another estimate from a bigger company and it was TWICE the price of Mini Moves. Oh, and they move pianos!! read more

I've used Mini Moves twice and have been impressed both times. The people in the office are friendly and know their stuff. On moving day the crew was on time, so polite, and really careful with our possessions. They were really efficient too, which saved us some money. I used Mini Moves for a move from a third floor apartment with a narrow, winding staircase. The three movers were fast and efficient and were also quite polite. I went online and filled out the form to get a quote on a simple move from one state to another. I get a text that asked for the zip codes from where to where. I get a response that we can not help you since its with in the same state. Obviously I texted back stating it isn't in the same state. I get another response stating they do not go to that state. When in their own website it says it does. read more

These guys are awesome. I called them on a Friday at 9 AM for a move Saturday morning. They showed up promptly, complete the loading with little direction and delivered the load quickly. They are hyper organized while still being very pleasant in their interactions with us. Their initial quote over the phone was off by about $14.00....in other words dead on point. Great organiztion! read more

Not only have I used them twice but I also recommend them to friends and family. They are very reasonably priced and they get the job done quick and with respect to your belongings. I have had some very bad mover experiences and these guys are great. I think they are a father/son or family own business. The first time I used them we all went into a convenience store in Arlington to get them drinks and the store knew each one and treated them like old friends. I knew I was dealing with a good company. Much respect. read more
