9-21-24 6pm As we were walking on the riverfront there is a place on the road you are walking under a building and people are headed up in an elevator to a Roof top bar. So I tell hubby let's go. Well this ended up to be our best stop all day. When we got off the elevators there was tables with guest with drinks and food. Who knew we arrived at the Hyatt. We went to look for the hostess station and was told we had to order drinks at the bar and carry them outside to a table. Well the drinks were off the chart's amazing! Fresh juices were used to make my Cosmopolitan. As we got a round a drinks we sat outside what a beautiful view. If we wanted another drink back inside and repeat. Makes zero sense as there is table service but not if you are only drinking?! Thus one less star for lack of any service or hospitality. Although the bar staff was great and we tipped them as such. Definitely the only redeeming quality of the entire River front. That and the candy shop below.

For breakfast, you have a choice of either an ala carte or buffet; we opted for a buffet. They have a wide variety of choices. I loved their multi grain croissants among all the breads I tried. For dinner, their fried tomatoes were delicious. The calamari was crunchy, a little too crunchy, though, for my taste. The red sauce was flavorful. I loved it. The arugula salad was simple yet satisfying. The she crab soup tasted a little too buttery, less of a craby taste. We've also ordered their fried chicken, which we ate in the room. I didn't fancy it. It was lacking more batter. The chicken meat was bland. It should've been marinated more. The staff were very nice, friendly and attentive. They made sure my coffee cup always gets refilled. Empty plates were always cleared. Food is always replenished on the buffet table. On Fridays and Saturdays evening, they have live music. It was entertaining. I would love to come back again.

Moss and Oak is located in the Hyatt. If you're looking for a rooftop that is not too hot and has a beautiful view, this is it! We didn't even need a reservation for a family of four at dinner time (but maybe you would on a weekend?). You can see right down River Street and watch the boats pass on the river. The restaurant was classic upscale American food. We got the burrata salad, poutine, and wings. The burrata salad was good but nothing special. My family loved the poutine. They said the meat on top was amazing. I thought I'd be able to shared the poutine with them but the meat kind of overtook the dish and there was barely any cheese. It was more a meat and fries dish (still good! but not poutine). Their drinks here were good, and I had the chance to try a local Georgia cider.

Great patio seating with a view of the Savannah river and Georgia queen. I only ordered drinks, the Brussel sprouts were complimentary and the Negroni was made to my liking. I'd come here just to sit on the patio and people watch. Our waitress was friendly and checked on us periodically.

Moss + Oak was our last dinner in Savannah and it was overall a great experience. It's located inside of a hotel, but has spectacular views of the river if you eat outside (which I recommend). The food wasn't anything to write home about, but it was good and satisfied our cravings for seafood before heading back home to the midwest.

Location inside the Hyatt. Initially was drawn to the location because of happy hour, but ended up not ordering from that menu. I ordered the Azalea cocktail, it was so refreshing and so pretty. Food options were pricey and limited. Staff was friendly and was quick to refill our waters. Was enjoyable!

Nice ambiance Abby great open piano. Rowdy bachelorette going on. In a great area with lots to see and do. Poor service and menu knowledge. My food was thrown together per the photo. If you want a beverage refill you might need to go get it yourself.

The service was great, our waiter was quick and made sure we had everything we needed. We were traveling and stopped for the night at the Hyatt. It was pretty late in the evening so we decided to go here since it is part of the hotel. We had a variety of different dishes. My burger was dry, I know I ordered will done, but not dry. The kids pizza was pretty good. I guess the food was ok, not to special, the presentation was pretty though.

I ordered the Savannah cajun style flatbread...It had pepperoni, spicy sausage, peppers, and Cajun blue crab. It was pretty good I wasn't disappointed!

The cheese was smooth, not oily, and the bread was perfectly toasted. Not pictured is the "pot of gold" iced coffee, which was a vanilla and toffee nut flavor with sprinkles on top. The flavor wasn't nutty, which I enjoyed. If you like sweet coffees, this is a great option! (It is close to St Patrick's Day so may only be a special) The lady taking orders was super nice and friendly and made sure that we knew exactly what we were ordering.

The online menu photos looked incredible (though I still side-eye those famous PB&J wings--maybe next time!). We chose the Treylor Park Double Wide Diner for breakfast and were thrilled we did. Pro tip: Head there early on a Sunday morning! Alcohol can't be served until after 11 a.m., so the place is surprisingly quiet and easy to get into--no crowds or long waits. We were seated right away, and our server was incredibly friendly and attentive from start to finish. My husband went for The Chupacabra--a massive chimichanga-style breakfast burrito stuffed with eggs, sausage, onions, cheddar cheese, fresh pico de gallo, Sriracha, and chipotle crème fraîche, served with cheesy grits on the side. I ordered the Brunch Nachos, which sounded fun as an "appetizer"... big mistake (or the best kind of mistake!). It was a towering plate of waffle fries loaded with cheddar cheese, bacon, sausage gravy, fried chicken, and topped with sunny-side-up eggs. Both portions were enormous and absolutely delicious--we had to pace ourselves to make a dent in them! Everything tasted fantastic, with bold flavors and that perfect Southern comfort twist Treylor Park is known for. We're already planning to stop by again whenever we're near one of their locations--highly recommend for a fun, hearty breakfast!

Gutter ball trash…read more Insanely overpriced for the trash you are served. Tourist trap from the number of Yelp reviews. This had to have changed hands over the years. The food was absolutely worthless. Seriously, McDonald's is better than this in every way. Photos to prov The ketchup bottle? Disgusting looking. They definitely refill these "do not refill" bottles. The hash browns? Look at the photos--they exploded once a fork hit them. The kitchen was incredibly slow, which resulted in barely warm food. Check out the barely cooked bacon. To top it off? A bathroom door that won't close the first or fifth time because a screw is stripped in the wood. Stupid brown "napkins" from the janitor closet were a nice touch. Straws that barely open in the plastic they're wrapped in, again because they are so cheap. Sausage that was cooked previously, more than likely. The eggs--no complaints there. The toast? Probably leftover from a local prison. The pancakes? I wonder if they were microwaved. I wouldn't go back if someone offered me free food. DO NOT GO HERE. Look at the photos and trust me.

Open only until 2:00 PM, if you're looking for breakfast, brunch or lunch, this is the place to be. Arriving at just about noon, the place was packed, but not unpleasantly so, with customers that quickly moved through the ordering process, past the register, and to the ample seating, of their own choosing (with limited outdoor seating available; but not preferable at the time, due to the spotty showers that also choose to attend). Beverages are provided as payment is being made, leaving no thirst unquenched. Needless to say, seating is immediate. With a cup of rich, flavorful, house blend coffee in hand, my daughter, Son in Law, and I found a seat with a great view of the market activities happening outside only moments before our meals were served. The Italian Panini, chock full of succulent mildly spicy meats and lettuce, covered proportionately with dressing (yes, I was given my own bite size sample) , was my daughter's choice; a visually appealing (although not personally sampled) breakfast platter was the pick of the day for my Son in Law; and, Salmon BLT, composed of one thick, juicy piece of salmon, bursting with flavor, accented by a slice of smokey bacon atop a crisp bed of lettuce, slathered in a mild, but tasty, mustard based sauce, between two halves of a soft , flakey, croissant that more than rivaled the size of an average hamburger bun, was my choice. It did not disappoint. At just under $45.00, before tip, all of this seemed like a bargain. If there could be a downside to this experience, and I would say there couldn't be, it would be that, when visiting Savanah, choosing the place to eat jus became a bit more difficult, with Goose Feathers now in contention.
