Quick service! Reasonable prices. Good amount of items for order. Got the chili cheese dog with onions and it did the job!

Hot dog restaurant if you're looking for a quick lunch or early dinner. They pretty much have hot dogs, sides, a few sweets, and different kinds of baked potatoes. The cashier here was really nice but was doing everything by herself, preparing food, order taking, and order transactions. Maybe she could get some help. Items ordered were primarily with chili add on which was not yet ready. I ended up waiting 20 minutes for my food but she did apologize and offer a complimentary drink for the wait time.

Happy to report that on my first visit to MO's that the great hot dogs from Sac's I first had in Vallejo 36 years ago live on. Kudos: to MO's for keeping up the great quality of the dogs, buns, chili and fresh condiments. Although I don't presently live in the area, I will continue to make MO's a "must stop" on any Not Cal visit.

Workers in back while we eat! Smh ‍

Huge fan of Sacs in Vallejo but this definitely fell under par with the freshness and price point. Service was good while ordering but we sat in on this Saturday afternoon and ate our hotdogs. After our dogs were made the two girls sat in the back no where in sight almost our entire stay. The toppings and ingredients didn't seem fresh at all. The jalapeños and banana peppers were dried out. The mustard looked like it was hard at the top and the tomatoes looked wilted and old. Price point is definitely higher then the Vallejo location but was shocked when I noticed there's no meal deal, everything from chips and drink you had to pay full price a la Carte. It was a rather expensive lunch with far from fresh ingredients. Highly disappointed. Doesn't compare to sac's quality and freshness. My first time & my last time here.

I can't lie, the Chili cheese dog is pretty damn good. But unfortunately that is all I can say. Everything else is a bit over priced for what I saw over there and my fellow employees orders didn't look too great. I'm biased though since I have my own opinions of how much hotdogs should be worth regardless of what you put on them. Maybe this place is being judged with those goggles on but I can't say I didn't like them.

    Hot enough?!

Clean and friendly. Thank you Monica for a great recommendation for Chili cheese dog . Very filling and accommodating to extra ingredients (if you ask). Indoor and out door seating available.

Ask the Community - MO's Hot Dogs

I like how you answer your customers ! I live in Sonoma , work in Napa and from Chicago...My old man and I would love to come in for a Chicago Dog.... can you make that happen? Thx!

We make a Chicago'ish Dog, with peppers and seasoned salt, but the relish isnt the bright green as in the original. Come give us a try.

When we got our food, my date said, she should have ordered the salad that looks so good. You know what? It was bomb! Super flavorful and refreshing. It made everything else taste bland or maybe it was bland, not the salad though. I would come back for the salad. The chili had no flavor, my date said her burger didn't have any flavor and she regretted choosing it. I don't normally like sweet potato fries but they were good from here.

We were looking for dessert - something not too sweet. And this was the perfect spot! We had a manzana empanada and a banana y dulce de leche empanada. Both were good - they were warm and freshly baked. I will definitely be back to try some of their savory empanadas. Looking through their website, they also have a location at the Ferry Building and in SOMA. They can also be found at various Farmer's Markets around the Bay Area. I had no idea! They even have catering and delivery options via Uber Eats, Door Dash, or directly from El Porteno's themselves. This is a great business to patronize - unique and delicious. My usuals are their camarones (shrimp), the espinacas y panceta (spinach bacon and parmesan), and the champiñones (mushroom). The empanadas are served hot, flaky, and contain with a generous amount of filing. If they are out of a particular one at the window, just ask, they will bake a frozen one, which may take 5-7 minutes. I've also tried their carne and pollo empanadas which are also great but the three mentioned above are my favorites. I love that they put the empanadas in labeled sleeves so you actually know which is which! I've been to places that just stamp a letter on the crust, and half the time you can't even read it. This way is much easier especially when you're ordering a bunch of them like me. They are easy to eat on the go or grab a table at either end of Oxbow Market. Don't forget to get a side of their Chimmichuri sauce for $1.50. The sauce really completes the empanada! The staff is always friendly, helpful, and happy to make recommendations if you can't decide. You can't go wrong with any of them as I've tried them all the last few years.

TLDR: Best BBQ in Napa, hands down. Brisket and burnt ends…read moreare killer, mac n cheese surprised me, the owners are absolute gems, and the space is gorgeous. Cornbread and sauces missed the mark for me, but the meat more than made up for it. Definitely going back! The full story: Finally! A BBQ joint that knows how to season meat! Stateline Road Smokehouse in Napa is the spot. We rolled in on Mother's Day and got hit with a line almost out the door -- always a good sign! Turned out the wait wasn't bad though, because they've got a slick assembly line going. I watched the girl slicing my brisket right next to the order-taker, then just followed my tray as it moved down the line. The space is gorgeous -- big, bright, and airy, with clear garage doors and windows across the front and a domed ceiling overhead. We ordered the brisket, burnt ends, BBQ chicken, mac n cheese, and hot water cornbread. Plates come with their house-made pickles, onions, and peppers. They even have stuff for non-carnivores -- the Cherry Wood-smoked Maitake & Greens (maitake mushrooms, lettuce, heirloom rice, marinated garbanzo beans, lemon vinaigrette) and the 18th & Vine Grain Bowl (barley, quinoa, sweet potato, arugula, parsnip, saffron egg, pickled onion, burnt orange vinaigrette) both looked fantastic. Maybe I'll grab one next time -- right next to a pile of brisket! On the drink side they've got wines by the glass, boozy slushies, draft beer, and batch cocktails. We stuck with water this round. Prices were a notch above what I'm used to in Sacramento, but for Napa they felt totally fair -- especially since this is probably the best BBQ around. The brisket was a steal at $19 for a half pound. The chicken at the same price for a half bird felt a bit steep, but I could be off on what's normal up there. The brisket was seasoned beautifully from the very first bite -- smoked to perfection, fall-apart tender. No knife needed. The burnt ends were my favorite of the whole spread. They had a splash of sauce on them but it wasn't needed -- those rubs hold their own. The BBQ chicken had a totally different vibe -- hard to describe, but it gave off Asian-influenced flavors. Solid on its own, but pairing it with the brisket and burnt ends was a misfire. The flavors just didn't play nice together. The mac n cheese was great. It wasn't baked, but it also wasn't mushy or overcooked like most places -- the noodles still had bite and the cheese was flavorful. Sadly, the cornbread was the weak link. A little dry, kinda bland, and not as thick as I like. About the size of a thin 6" pancake -- not really worth the price. The other miss for me was the BBQ sauces. Just not my thing flavor-wise. To be fair though, the owner built his whole business on those sauces and apparently ships them out by the pallet, so plenty of people clearly love them! It was awesome seeing Darryl Bell, the owner, back in the kitchen working his magic -- and get this, he's reportedly the first Black restaurateur in Napa since the 1800s! That made the warm welcome hit even harder. Even with the rush going on, he popped out to snap a picture with us and thank us for coming in. His business partner Jeremy was also working the floor, checking in on every table, and he stuck around to talk us up about Darryl's BBQ skills and how their partnership came together. Then during a lull, Darryl came back out and gave us the whole tour -- the cultural and historical design choices throughout the space (the building used to be a Quonset hut, which explains that cool domed ceiling) plus the murals on the back patio. Dinner AND a show! Wishing these guys all the best. Can't wait to get back and work through more of the menu.

I ordered a rack of ribs, 1/2 lbs of brisket, a sausage, pulled pork and a side of Mac and cheese. I would say the best thing I order was the Mac and cheese.
