    Ribs were really good

I used to get Mexican grilled chicken from a guy who grilled chicken on the side of highway 29 in Vallejo. Since the guy left, I couldn't find another chicken al carbon the way he used to make it. Then a friend mentioned this place! I gotta say, I finally found what I was looking for - a very flavorful, juicy, and smoky grilled chicken! Definitely will return!!!

Location is at Larry's produce now

I happened to find this truck as I'm driving around. One day I decide to stop by but when i approach the location, they had a sign directing to go to Larry's produce. I get here and parked in the LP lot only to walk across the place right behind the market. only to find out they had a separate entrance and parking lot right next to time. the parking lot is just dirt area so I wouldn't suggest lowered cars parking there. I've gone here twice. 1st order this order; I've tried the 2-meat combo with apollo chicken and ribs with coleslaw and rice along with a watermelon fresca. First time trying apollo asada chicken (besides apollo loco) and I was surprised I enjoyed more than the ribs! I loved the flavoring of the chicken, It was a bit too charred but still really good flavoring. The pork ribs were good but i;'m spoiled with smoked ribs which i perfect but for grilled ribs these were still flavor AND tender. love ribs that still keeps it texture but when you cut or bite into it, it's soft but not mushy and still pull of the bone tender. the Watermelon Fresca was really good! Not too sweet Very refreshing for a warm summer day. My 2nd order 5 tacos a mix of the fish, pastor, chicken and steak along with a strawberry and cream fresca. The tacos were flavorful and juicy! I think the tacos were filled appropriately. Just like the apollo asada above, the tacos were great as well. Pastor was on the sweeter side from the pineapple but still good. Steak was marinated well and all meats were juicy. I liked the fish taco but it was my least favorite one. also it was the most expensive as well. It was topped with avocado and a pico do gallo. maybe the avocado added onto the price along with the fish. The strawberry and cream Fresca was really good! Not too sweet as well. Tasted like I was drinking fresh strawberry milk but it wasn't too milky, if that makes sense. comes with a bag of tortilla chips. they give you 3 types of salsas. standard red and green salsa but the 3rd one is different. its a darker salsa but i think its my favorite. It taste like chipotle type salsa, It is spicier than the other two but has a sweetness to it so it keeps you eating despite the spiciness. They do have a sink which I loved, to wash your hands. All the utensils and paper towels are in a table. They have a cover patio area to eat with lots of tables. Verdict: Overall, I would continue to come here when I go to Larry's Produce. I think this place is my preferred Mexican food in the area. It is out of the way and limited menu compared to another mexican food truck near scandia and other restaurants in the area but they do the standard selections well. The Drinks are really good. I would not be surprised if they use everything from the farm! Its a good spot to try out.

Love how friendly they are and the food is amazing. The setup a nice dining space at Larrys Produce and provide the freshest salsa and aquas frescas! We also do the ribs and tacos and leave fully filled up.

I ordered the burnt ends, potato salad, and curly fries. The burnt ends were flavorful and very tender. It was some juicy pieces of meat. I loved this so much! The potato salad is not the traditional cold potato salad. It was warm, but, it was well seasoned and the potatoes were soft. Yum! The curly fries with aoili sauce were crunchy! No fry was cold nor limp. Well seasoned. There was some pickled onions on the side to enjoy. I ordered the Blood orange spritz for my cocktail. For only $9 AND if was refreshing to sip on a warm dat!! I ended the last of my visit sipping on some Rombauer chardonnay. Which was 6 ounces for $10. Inside the restaurant there are plenty of tables, water station clean bathrooms, and very nice staff. The staff comes and checks in every so often if I need to order anything else. There's also patio seating. It was too warm for me that day to eat outside. I will make the plan to do so next visit! I had no complaints or issue. I am eyeing the mac n cheese and will try next visit! I definitely will be returning again real soon! Till next time! :)

I ordered Ribs, brisket, links and chicken along with several sides. I took my wife and 3 kids to help devour this meal. Although the staff is friendly, the service provided was truely mediocre. During the ordering line, our family of 5 got completely ignored and I had to interrupt them to make sure they noticed we were in line. Our meats was served tepid, barely warm, even though they made us wait for the food like it was coming out the smoker. Our drinks weren't served with our order or called out that they were ready. The ribs were tough, probably due to the temperature and the rest of the meats were needing salt/seasoning. However, the best thing we got was the Rancho Gordo Beans and Greens which was absolutely delish. Even the kids denied the mac and cheese since it wasn't warm or hot. This might have been an off day for staff, but it wasn't a busy day and the owner was there greeting and serving food. I'm willing to try again but there are much better options, especially in neighboring cities.

Without warning, my nose suddenly started bleeding, and I was caught completely off guard. Britannia, one of the managers on duty, immediately stepped in to help. What could have been a very uncomfortable and embarrassing experience was made so much better because of her quick response and compassion. Exceptional customer service like this is rare and deserves recognition. Britannia went above and beyond, and her care made a lasting impression on me and my family. Thank you for turning an unexpected situation into a positive experience. We will definitely be back! Thank you (I apologize if I have the name spelling wrong )

A quick tip for first-time visitors: this location gets very busy, so arrive early if you can. They also have QR codes outside that allow you to join the waitlist before being seated. My wife and I used to be regulars at this location when we lived in Fairfield, but we had not been back in over 10 years. It was nice to see that despite all the challenges restaurants have faced over the years, this place is still thriving and as popular as ever. We were part of a group of 10, and everyone felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The service was friendly, attentive, and fast. We were even greeted by the owner or manager, which added a nice personal touch. The food was excellent. I ordered the BBQ chicken breast and ribs combo with two sides, and at around $23, I thought it was a great value. Living in San Jose, I'm used to BBQ meals costing significantly more. Of course, the fresh rolls with the cinnamon butter were just as delicious as I remembered. No one in our group had any complaints. The food, atmosphere, reasonable prices, and outstanding service made for a memorable family celebration. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Fairfield.

We came right at lunch and all the tables were full. You pay at the beginning ($20 a person) and serve yourself with these super cute plates. A great spot to have a mix of people come to eat - from standard Filipino dishes to more Americanized options. The garlic rice, eggs, spam, red hot dog, and bangus were staples of my childhood. Staff was also very friendly and encouraged us to eat more. There was also karaoke as an option! Also plenty of parking next to the Air Force Base. Would love to come back with friends! Highly recommend to get full on some Filipino food!

There was a long line so I went also as we were getting hungry and it was the closest to where we were located. They had two different lines which made the lines go by a little faster. They were friendly which is always a plus in my book! Here's what I got: Lumpia: Not all lumpia is created equally. I am very picky when it comes to where I get it. The only other lumpia place I swear by is Andrea's in Vallejo. Katna's lumpia is actually really good! Had that crunch I was looking for. Thin wrap and just the right amount of meat. Other lumpia's from people don't have that crunch. Will get this again! Pork Sisig: I don't ever regular Sisig. If I do, I'm also picky about that. I'm usually a Bangus Sisig type of gal. However, there have only been a handful of the regular ones I have liked. I had high hopes for this. It isn't your typical Sisig. It was saucy and had a spicy kick to it. I do like the pepper addition. However, I do think that the meat can be cut up even smaller. It also had too much fatty pieces to it which I don't eat. So I had to remove that. It was lacking flavor and tasted a little bland. It's not the kind I'm used to. It wasn't horrible, but I do think it could be better. Will pass on this next time. Last thing, the rice was cold and not warm at all. I know it's a busy day and a lot of people. But, I like to eat my food with warm rice. I would have expected them to have a rice cooker back there keeping it warm. That ruined the experience a little.

We've been to his smash burger spot in Richmond, and my parents tried his pop up back in the day over by the Crane way Pavilion (IYKYK). We were all impressed by the overall look and feel of this spot, from initial walk-in, to the food, and service. With country music playing, a clean and bright interior, and the sweet smells of juicy meat and sides waiting, we knew we entered the right place. We tried it all! Nachos for the table to start with deliciously diced brisket, beans, chives, cheese, BBQ sauce, and more, a loaded potato with pulled pork, meat plates including the ribs, sliced brisket, chicken, and a pulled pork sandwich. Everything was amazing and done right. You could tell there was love and care in each bite, which I feel for East Bay BBQ, is important. The portions were stellar, the quality was excellent, and we enjoyed sides of corn, mac and cheese, and cole slaw. There really isn't much else to it! We sat at a long table and there were rolls of paper towels attached to it which I wish we could get our "after" pic besides just the before pics because we def got saucy! I like the innovation of the loaded nachos and potato with proteins if you don't want a sandwich or a plate..great shareables, but also great portions for your own meal (or second meal too). They also do their smash burgers here, and had key lime mini pies for dessert. No beer/wine, but soft drinks. Plenty of parking adjacent and fair pricing for BBQ. We already can't wait to come back ~ I have my eye on those hot links! Thank you for bringing the vibes to Hercules.
