They have a pull tab, but they don't consistently use the numbers and it's slightly disorganized. The prices are a bit expensive, but it's the Napa area so what can ya do lol. The employees are nice and welcoming, but ordering here the first time might be intimidating since you might miss the pull tab and not know where and how to put in an order. The complementary bread was fresh and the garlic dipping sauce was good, although we prefer basaltic and oil. We generally split or do a half salad and then split an entree. We started with a split insalata di arugula which reminds us of a salad at our favorite restaurant in Eugene. Pears, walnuts and bleu cheese with arugula. It was excellent and gave us hope for the main course. Our main was penne con pollo, which they split for us (no split charge). It had a wonderful chipotle basil sauce that included sweet corn and sun-dried tomatoes. It was wonderful. So glad we went!

Simple ingredients done really well; fresh meats, crisp vegetables, soft bread straight from the oven. It's the kind of lunch that reminds you how good simple food can be when the ingredients are quality. The owner and staff always seem genuinely happy to be there, and it gives the whole place such a warm and welcoming feeling. They also have little Italian drinks, snacks, and specialty goodies that make it fun to grab something extra alongside your lunch. It's a smaller little shop, so I recommend taking your sandwich to go and eating over at the Sonoma Plaza. Such a special little spot in Sonoma.

Salumeria Ovello popped up on my feed, and thank goodness it did! An easy 4-minute walk from Vallejo House, Salumeria Ovello is owned by Andrea, who is a Michelin-star chef from the area of Piedmont, Italy. Having been to Italy twice this past year alone, I remember quite well the quality and taste of the classed Italian Sandwiches. The worker who served at the counter was very helpful, and within the restaurant --- there are just a few seats. I'd say, 3 tables with two seats at each table. For my food, I decided to order the Massimo --- which is on "sliced Focaccia, and has sun dried tomatoes, stracciatella di burrata, prosciutto cotto, basil pesto and crumbled taralli (crackers)". Each sandwich is made fresh-to-order, and you can taste the quality. Each ingredient worked together in harmony, and to satisfy the americani in me, I definitely enjoyed the taralli in the sandwich --- reminded me of putting chips in my sandwiches in school. While I waited, Andrea also brought out some slices of salami for me to try --- free of charge, which was very kind of him to do. All in all, if you want to get away from the busyness of the Mission Square, take a 4-minute walk to Salumeria Ovello, and you'll find a little piece of Italy in Sonoma! Ciao tutti!

They sell curated food products from gourmet balsamic vinegar, crackers, popcorn, flavored olive oils, jams, and of course. We decided to try the bourbon latte and white rabbit. They have a variety of flavors but the bourbon latte caught my eye. Me not realizing that it felt like summer outside during springtime, we ordered both drinks hot. Sidenote, the drinks do come iced as well. In addition to our drinks, I bought lemon curd jam and rosè jelly. There was only one person working when we were there but we didn't wait long for our drinks which was a big plus. Aside from that, the bourbon latte was very tasty and I loved the fact that the bourbon syrup wasn't too overpowering. Next time I go, I'm definitely getting it iced. Napastäk is definitely a gem and I recommend stopping by to visit if you're in the area. If you love taking picturesque photos, this is the perfect place! They having tasting too!

I feel like this spot along with the Ferry Building in SF ushered in the popularity of this model of this type of market - at least in California. Depending on where you go or eat, service is going to vary, but I've always interacted with wonderful folks here. I've been here a few times now with 3/2026 being my most recent visit. We came here to pick up some items for breakfast in the coming week and walked/looked around for some fun small bites. With 20 plus vendors along with the surrounding businesses and restaurants, this is just a fun place to visit whenever you're in the Napa area. I unfortunately had to watch my alcoholic beverage intake because I was driving, but it would be great to try a few of the many available options of wine offered at the vendors. Parking: there's a pretty large lot and there's a lot of parking long the street in the surrounding area, but parking can still be a bit hectic due to the popularity of this spot.

I always preorder a day or two ahead of time for the large lasagna's (meat or veggie). They are so delicious; they are fully prepared & come with instructions on cooking time.
