Our hotel gave us a little card for a free appetizer, which turned out to be a little fried polenta with gorgonzola and basalmic over marinara. A great bite to start. I wanted a salad and our server Mike recommended the Napa Cabbage salad and I'm glad he did. It was probably the most decadent salad I've ever had - there was so much bacon and I loved the mushrooms and grilled prawns. My husband had the filet with the gorgonzola butter and really loved it, especially the mashed potatoes. Only bummer was the broccoli was super crunchy. Probably the best part was the dessert. I had the lavender and orange creme brûlée and my husband had the bread pudding. You can get it with ice cream and he got his on the side - he was glad because he really got to enjoy the texture and flavor of the warm bread pudding.
