Turkey on Dutch crunch with everything
Emily E.

Pre ordered online - service was quick and my order was ready. Sandwich was good - not the best in my life but solid. Will come again.

Special number 4 - prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, balsamic vinegar, basil, tomato, splash of olive oil on a ciabatta.
Yurtle T.

Great fast sandwiches, never overstuffed, always classic, great flavors. Today we got "number four" with just enough, fresh basil, balsamic, and a splash of olive oil that seeped nicely into soft ciabatta. If you like your bread toasted, you better say it otherwise it's soft but not soggy. We also got some local beer, brewed at Mare Island for the first time. The pilzner was bitey and good. They also had a brew called "Vallejo", a lager. The shop itself has a coffee shop and a place to purchase local and imported eats and treats. We got an Aqua Pena Tuscany, natural springwater just for kicks. There are wonderful, frozen lasagnas and pastas. I've had these before and they're always quite good. Fresh pasta, and great ingredients. We also purchase some local candy, one of which is like a hard gummy. The candies are tiny and imported from Italy. Don't forget deli meats if you like that sort of thing. We are fans of mortadella and they have both the imported and the local kind. We bought the local kind that doesn't have pistachios, but if you like it with pistachios and a little salty, the imported one is great too. Service was fast and friendly. Ambiance is that of an Italian deli for sure with a lot of wood and a little bit of an 80s to 90s feel. Tables were cozy and wood.

I wish I could give 10 stars! I love this super friendly, lovely delicatessen . We went in for sandwiches for our lunch. I ended up getting a delicious cappuccino from the sweetest little barista woman I was so impressed with the amount of Italian products you can purchase They have everything from put together soups in a crockpot, olive oil's ,cherries, pestos ,coffee, Jams, honey ,breads. already made and ready to take away delicious lasagnas, and gnocchi , raviolis with sauces. They have it all if you are just looking for something delicious. This is the delicatessen you need to try. An impressive wine list, Italian chocolates, and cookies And Italian pastas dried and ready to be prepared for your friends and family . ( we are heading back there on the day that we leave to drive back up so that I can stock up.) I just love this place so much

First tip is to make sure you grab a number upon entering. Once your number is called at the deli counter, you may order. Staff was surprisingly not the most welcoming when I let them know (politely) they had skipped my number. I was standing off just a few feet to the girl's right, so it isn't even as if she called it and I missed it. The vibe had more of an unspoken "yeah, yeah hurry up"... so rather than ordering all I had hoped from the deli case, I just grabbed one side and called it at that. This is my 2nd time in, but fortunately only my first interaction that made me feel that way. The sandwich (Dino Special) was pretty good and packed with filling- I'd get that again.

Meatball Sandwich double meat w/fresh mozzarella on a soft sour roll

The more I go here, the more I want to come back! My meatball Sandwich was next level with the fresh mozzarella on top !!! The minestone soup and garlic bread is a perfect side to go with the sandwich. Also had some tortellini salad which was fantastic!! One of the best dell's in the area!!

No frills deli spot! Came in on a late Friday evening for 2 prosciutto sandwiches. Things are made fresh, on the spot in front of you and they weigh the meats! Ingredients are fresh! Would definitely come back for a quick snack or if you want an Italian sandwich!

She was attentive, friendly, and funny. And she knew exactly when to step in and offer great suggestions. The server assistants were also top-notch, stepping in frequently to refill our waters and offering to get us to-go bags when we finished our meal. The stellar service made the evening unforgettable and super-special. The food was also outstanding. I had the pork cutlet with capers and butter -- absolutely delicious! The cutlet was thin with a wonderfully crispy exterior and soft, buttery interior. The sauce on top didn't overwhelm the meat. The portion was so huge I enjoyed leftovers for lunch the next day. Other members of our party got the seafood and meat pastas (universally praised for freshness and perfectly cooked pasta). The appetizers were standouts as well, including the lightly fried olives with anchovies (a real surprise since the anchovies were mellowed by the cooking process but kept their savory deliciousness). The chop salad was also a revelation. Overall, we could not have asked for a better experience. We will gladly return to Scala when we are back in Napa!

This place came highly recommended by pretty much everyone around town, so we had to check it out, and now I completely understand why. From start to finish, everything was a 10/10. The service was excellent. I wish I could remember our waiter's name because he absolutely killed it and made the whole experience seamless. The food? Incredible. I had the pasta bolognese and the steak frites, and both were packed with flavor. Everything tasted fresh, rich, and perfectly executed. And I know this might sound random... but the white beans?? A hidden gem on the menu. Seriously don't skip them. So good! Portion sizes were just right for me, not overwhelming, but definitely satisfying. The outdoor dining area is absolutely gorgeous and adds such a nice touch to the overall experience. It's deff one of those places where you can just sit back, relax, and sip your wine! Safe to say, I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Everyone was super friendly and welcoming :) The interior was what you'd expect for a nice Italian restaurant. Cozy and clean! Good, strong drink. But it's a restaurant, so obviously you want to know about the food. So, the lasagna was exceptional. It did take a while to arrive, but they were very busy, so i will forgive them. Clearly freshly made with quality ingredients. I'd definitely recommend ordering that! The price... well, it's not cheap. But, you're in Napa and it's a nice restaurant. If you're on a budget, go to Applebees. Nothing against Applebees, I go there all the time, I'm just trying to make a point here given that a few people in the reviews here are whining about the price. I'll be back for sure. It definitely has old world Italian charm with wine bottles hanging from the ceiling and dimly lit decor. We were there for a late afternoon lunch. I ordered an 8" combo pizza and my wife had the soup and salad lunch special. The salad (Caesar) was fresh with just the right amount of dressing and fresh grated parmigiana. Delicious without being drowned. The soup was hearty and well seasoned. My wife loved it so much we ordered a quart to go. That is saying a lot as she is not a huge fan of Italian cuisine. Now, I am kind of a pizza snob so, my expectations weren't that high. Wow! Was I wrong! The crust was crisp with a soft center. The sauce was perfect, not too much or too little, just right. It was a delicious pie. The perfect ratio between toppings, sauce and a crust that doesn't flop. Service was fast and friendly. If you are in Napa and looking for a really good meal that won't max out your credit card, this is the place. Oxbow is a neat place to visit, but the prices are in my opinion, extremely high. Try this place for reasonable, affordable and delicious Italian food.

We also ordered the Margarita Pizza. Thin crust with san marzano tomatoes, four de latte and basil. I'm torn on this one. It was good but already cold when served. I feel $30 is much too expensive for a small pizza such as this. The Crecenza polenta was delicious. Creamy and flavorful. This is a good option for a starter dish for the table.
