Thanksgiving special turkey sandwich with chips and some gravy to dip the sandwich in. PERFECTION!
Crystal M.

Talk about TOP NOTCH... These sandwiches are the truth! Not only is the customer service the best- but the sandwiches are the best in the Napa Valley and I have lived here all my life. Their sandwiches are fresh, from the produce to the meat, they use grade A aiolis and have specials from time to time! Today I was hankering some Thanksgiving dinner before actual turkey day so I did the special Thanksgiving Sandwich and let me tell you it did not disappoint. Big A's sandwiches are big and so hearty! I can share half with someone and be completely satisfied! This is now one of Napa Valley's hidden gems in the form of a food truck and if you are in the area , hit them up and enjoy a beautiful sandwich during your visit!

Half of the Cubano sandwich. AMAZING!!
Chef Omar R.

Happened to pass by and saw this food truck that does sandwiches. Being from New York and my love for a good sandwich, I decided to stop and give it a try. I met Trevor in front, and I asked him what he recommended. After hearing his thoughts, I was sold. I ordered the Cubano sandwich, which I haven't had outside of Los Angeles. I'm so happy I tried it! The slow roasted pork was juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned and cooked. The mustard pickles, cheese and ham were fresh and delicious. The BREAD!!! I don't know what type of bread this is, but it was AMAZING! Soft, fresh, and captured all of the juices from the pork. The sandwich is also big, and filling. They don't call him Big A for nothing! If you're in Napa, make it a point to stop and try Big A's. These sandwiches are next level.

Cubano with extra pickles

Had to try the fan favorite cubano. It was enormous and the bread was so fresh and toasted to perfection. I asked for extra pickles which met my needs and were delicious. The pork was amble, but flavor a little off for my taste buds. Friendly and fast service. I'd heard good things about this vendor and would try another sandwich or maybe build my own. I thought $18 was a lot, but you get a lot of sandwich for the price.

That sandwich was BOMB! We ordered a simple roasted turkey, with lettuce tomatoes, pickles, jalapeños, Dijon and mayonnaise on sliced wheat. The quality was great, portions good and easy to eat! So good :).

Oh my God folks, if you want the best sandwich you have ever eaten and the biggest sandwich you have ever seen, go to the small truck on Soscol in front of Central Valley Lumber called Big A's Sandwich. In these days and ages where everything is getting smaller but prices are more than ever have been, it's nice to get a lot for your buck. This is like 2-3 meals in one sandwich. I promise you will not be disappointed. Make sure to check their website before going because they are not there everyday. Have fun and bring your appetite

So excited!
Jay B.

Amazing! I've lived in Napa since 1990 and I used to go to this place by Wendy's as my go to Sandwich spot. That has all changed now that I found Big A's on Soscol. I had the notorious RBC. The Dutch crunch which I'm normally not a big fan of was great with the roast beef cream cheese pepperoncinis. It was juicy and so filling. Next time I'll ask for a little less meat because there was just so much neat stuffed into this amazing sandwich. I honestly never thought I would say there's too much meat. I will definitely be going back and working my way through the menu.

This is now my Napa sandwich spot. I got a turkey sandwich on Dutch with bacon and spouts, along with the usual sandwich accoutrements. Absolutely delicious. Simple but just how I like my sandwich to be. Fresh and flavorful. Staff was very friendly and the eating areas both inside and out are inviting and comfortable. There's a small bar with two TV's to watch sports as well. Very appealing. There are some pre-made paninis that look delicious as well, and a hot food table. All of it was tempting, but just a sandwich for the day. Finally, there is also a small refrigerated area that has some drinks along with some packaged foods. I was told by another customer that the pimento cheese dip is to die for. Something else to try next time.

The staff is so nice and the sandwiches are awesome and made fresh. I love that they have so many to go dinners and snacks. My husband and I enjoyed having a nice beer at their bar while they made our sandwiches. I forgot to take a pic, but we loved the tacos we picked up as well. Highly recommend this local spot!

The space isn't large and the service is really friendly so it gives that vibe/ charm of a small town deli shop. I was visiting the Napa area with my parents and my mom wanted to pick up some charcuterie meats. Saw this place and am really glad we went! Other than deli type items behind the counter, they have a lot of goods on the shelves like imported tin fish, specialty snacks, etc. Seems like a beloved place to grab lunch as well.

It's a pretty small deli located near a brewery and I believe a public market. Parking is not the best but we were able to squeeze into the nearby parking lot. The interior is cute, I'll be at small. It's like a small deli front with sandwiches and a couple of like jarred or canned things or dried things that you could shop for, but the focus is really the deli here. This review is for the deli sandwich only, we can't comment on the other deli products, though it seems like their customers love their products and they were really helpful and friendly to everyone looking We got the muffaletta. Unfortunately, they were out of the standard bread so we swapped it for a baguette and no regrets. The sandwich itself was so good nice and salty, intense flavors, but also melt in your mouth. We're so glad we decided to stop by here and I definitely would like to come back to try their other sandwiches and maybe their deli offerings.

The establishment itself is very well kept. Super clean. Extremely friendly staff. However the food just ain't worth the price. We both ordered bacon cheese burgers 1 French fry. 1 regular soda(16 oz) 1 sparking water(12 oz glass bottle) 1 cookie. This was $56 with tip. We didn't even get a 2nd order of French fries. There was literally 1 person in line ordering ahead of us. We placed our order and was told 20 minutes for our order. With one order shrewd of us 20 minutes seems a lot longer than expected to get two burger. My spice likes her burgers well done and she asked for her burger to be well done. 20 minutes later I picked up our food from the counter. And just like the food at the Walnut Creek location it was all cold. Nothing was hit at all. My souses burger was medium rare. We didn't even return the burger because we didn't want to wait another 20 minutes for her burger to be ready. I do not recommend any Gotts burgers as they are over priced cold and do not cook the food as ordered.. we really hoped gonging them a 2nd chance would change our mind but after a second bad experience we will not being going back to try anything else.

It's the only place I know that has white sharp cheddar cheese, which I love on sandwiches, and I always get their Guini juice on the side. That said, I was a bit taken aback by the pricing on my most recent visit. I completely understand that prices go up, but my veggie sandwich was listed at $13.75 and I was charged $17.75. It turns out certain breads are an upcharge, but that wasn't communicated--I only realized after I had already paid. I also asked for pepperoncini and was charged $3, even though it's supposed to be $1.75. On top of that, it looks like I was charged for cucumbers, even though they're listed as part of the vegetarian sandwich, which feels a bit misleading. I've never had this issue before, so next time I'll definitely double-check pricing or order online since that's always been accurate for me. I still enjoy the food, just wish pricing and add-ons were more clearly communicated.
