Quiet and hidden in plain site, I've driven past here sooo many times and never knew what I was missing. Small place with some tables and a counter to order at. It was an hour or so before closing. The person at the counter was so friendly and helpful. We ordered and sat down. Our food was ready in about 10 minutes. Light and fresh. Well seasoned. Filling but not heavy. DELICIOUS. Honestly one of the best mediterranean food I've had. I am picky when it comes to food. The food was fresh and full of flavor. I got the chicken kebob plate and it was so delicious. The only thing I would add is to put more meat for the price that you pay. Overall, customer service was awesome. The man that works in the front was a very nice, hospitable, and helpful. We arrived the evening before Bottle Rock around 9:30 pm, seeking something healthy, homemade, and uniquely flavored. We searched for Mediterranean options near downtown Napa, and JuJu's Kitchen appeared in the results. It stated they were open until 10:10 pm, so we took a chance given how late it was. We figured if they were closed, we'd have to go for a fast food alternative. When we ordered, they asked if we wanted to eat there or take it to go. To our delight, we were told we could dine in and enjoyed their meal. We expected possible rush or being asked to take out, but instead, the staff graciously took our order with a smile. Sitting down, the food arrived, tasting exactly as we imagined. Everything was delicious and made us feel at home. We were pleasantly surprised by the cozy atmosphere and warm hospitality. I ordered the lamb and chicken kabob plates, which come with rice, hummus, a small Lebanese salad, and a pita. I also ordered Baba Ganough, fava bean, and the Greek orzo salad. And, of course, we had to try the Baklava. The restaurant is small and has very limited seating. It is more of a takeout place, and I took our food home. All the dishes were very good. Flavorful, and authentic. I especially enjoyed the fava and the Baba Ganough, and the Baklava was pretty good, too. The restaurant is owned by a couple from the Middle East, and they clearly take pride in their work. I liked it so much I will go back tomorrow for lunch to try one of their wraps. read more

Juju's is an authentic middle eastern and Mediterranean food deli that is tucked away in Napa as a well known by locals great place for lunch and has a wide variety of delicious, real and ethnic dishes and delicacies. There is several tables to eat at inside and some outside , inside is dimly lit and the old photos on the wall make it feel like you are stepping back in time to a more simple era. There is usually only one person attending the counter but they are very alert and attentive in their service, in a quiet and polite manner. The menu is diverse from Baba Gnough, Shawarma, Gyros, to Dolmas. I had the Mediterranean Salad with pecans, pomegranate, baby spinach , feta cheese, walnuts, apples, grapes, dates and very tasty marinated chicken with an Izzie mango fizz soda, and my guest has the Falafel wrap with Pellegrino and some beet humus which was amazing and first I've ever tried that! It's a quiet atmosphere with people coming in for lunch but reading a book or just enjoying the non hectic vibe of this open kitchen, which has been in Napa for decades now. The portions were fresh, tasty and generous, the prices fair for the quality of food, preparation and were well presented. Sadly, the tahini was off, sharp and vinergary. Pita seemed inauthentic, doughy and bland. Babaganoush was decent, but falafel was more flour than chick peas - starchy. Lamb was stinky and gamey. Tzatziki was mayonnaise with cucumbers in it. Disappointing to say the least. Server was pleasant, but food came out late. Customers that arrived after us were served first. Water was stale, tasted like it had lingered in the dispenser for days. Building should be bulldozed. Fire hazard. The bathroom was disgusting. Health hazard. Garlic potatoes and canned sodas were the only decent items on site. Two meals with sodas plus tip, just under $50. Save your money and do not assault your tastebuds. Go elsewhere! read more

I tried one of similar cuisine down town within the same 24 hour time frame but Jujus had exceptional authentic flavors spices textures and their Turkish coffee had that cardamom spice I needed. Their chicken wrap spices were the most dynamic and satisfying. The tabouli salad was very refreshing and of course flavorful. Let me start with this: the food is good. I love Mediterranean food and was glad that I found this place in the midst of Napa's plethora of bougie Italian and French cuisine. Okay, on to why this is 3 stars... The first time I ordered I placed a takeout order over the phone. I called to place an order and was met with a rude man who seemed annoyed to even take my order. He said they wanted to close early that day and that my order needed to be "worth it". I said that I was ordering a lot of food (I think it ended up being 6 items?). He resentfully agreed to take my order. After taking it, he asked how far I was and if I'd be there in 15 minutes. I assured him that I would be there in 15. I lived 10 mins away. As soon as I get off of the phone I start driving over to pick up my food. As I'm driving over, he calls me and angrily and asks how close I am (it had been 8 minutes since I placed the order!!!)... I tell him I'm 3 minutes away and he just hangs up the phone. Even though the service I received was bad, the food was good enough that I wanted to get it again. Skip forward to today. I just tried placing and order and was told it was confirmed. My boyfriend didn't even want to order anything with me because he was so put off from the service and told me that he knew something was going to happen... 26 mins later they tell me that they cancelled my order. I assume because they wanted to close early. Now my boyfriend gets to tell me "I told you so" and laugh. read more

Stopped here with my wife after a doctor's appointment for a quick bite to eat. We split the Mezza Combo Plate which came with 5 toppings and 2 pitas to share as well as a gyro. Everything on the Mezza Combo was delicious, flavorful and well seasoned. The gyro however was lacking, the meat had a good flavor but there wasn't much of it compared to the vegetables inside the wrap, worst of all the gyro came wrapped in a tortilla! I don't know about you guys but this is the only time I've been served a gyro and it wasn't on pita bread. The gyro wasn't bad exactly, it was just a bit of a let down compared to a traditional gyro. Tip for their hours: They now close between the lunch and dinner shifts from 3-5 so don't expect to eat here between the crowds. read more

Do not get the chicken shawarma plate, it is absolutely terrible. No rice, no salad, just hummus and chicken shawarma. Absolutely bizarre!
