An ahi tuna burger might be one of my favorite things, so you know I was stoked to be in the vicinity of Gott's Roadside at lunch time today. I got mine medium rare instead of rare & it was perfect! The slaw on it is so good & so is the bun! Plus it has a ginger wasabi sauce on it mmmmmmmm! My lady had the cheeseburger & it was HUGE! She couldn't finish it but loved it. The fries are nice & crunchy. The restaurant is clean & spacious. The only thing I didn't like was the ranch. It was kinda green, super thin, not very flavorful & had what I can only describe as maybe lettuce in it? But the burgers were impeccable!
This place is always packed and we had to try it since we kept passing it. The line can get long but it goes by pretty fast and then you have to wait about 20 mins for the food. They give you a buzzer when the food is ready and then you head to the counter to retrieve your order. The food was very good. I opted for the ahi tacos and shared sweet potato fries. Only thing I didn't love was the flies inside the restaurant but hard when it's hot outside to keep the flies out I guess. There is a decent amount of seating indoor and outdoor. We opted for indoor since it was hot outside.
Um hello??? 1,0000 stars!!!!! I have no complaints actually, besides the price but whatever i would do it again and i will hopefully sooner than later. Service was quick and the food took a while to come out but that's a good sign. The overall vibe was interesting but in a good way, don't think I've experienced anything like it. Anyways to the most importation part, THE chicken schnitzel sandwich WOW, the radish in there and the dill literal mouthgasm! So much flavor that all blended well with the juicy chicken and the bun my oh my the sweet brioche bun was the cherry on top. The fried green tomatoes were so delightful and refreshing, I don't even like tomatoes like that but i like these and you might actually fall in love with them! Till this day i find myself thinking of how amazing the food was. You have GOTTS to try this place im serious!
Food was great! The service took longer than expected. I think it's also because there was a lot of people. People started to sit by Model Bakery since there were so many people. Chill vibe. We ordered double cheeseburger, fries, and of course ELOTE (my fave). I wanted to order the green fried tomatoes but we opted for the peach cobbler. I didn't get to take a picture of the peach cobbler parfait because that alone took the longest to be served! I know, I know... It doesn't take much to put it together. The server said some machine in the back was malfunctioning. What timing! Still a great place!
The place was crowded everyday. I was not impressed. There was a line out the door and everyone tells you that you have to go. The food was just ok. We got a seat near the tv so we could watch the Soccer match. We were seated outside but decided to go in after seeing an empty spot. It was warmer in there. We were cold outside so I welcomed the little bit of warmth.
Absolutely loved the lobster. BLT special will be coming back since I am a local down the road
Whenever I am Napa I love to grab a burger here. So fresh and so good. Always a line. We like sitting outside weather permitting.
This is my regular weekend lunch destination. Napa is about a 20 minute drive from my home. I crave the ahi burger, crispy ahi poke taco, or the Vietnamese chicken salad with a side of the sweet potato fries. This time I decided y to o try the Gruyère and caramelized burger! How's that got a change-up! It was very tasty and not as messy as I thought it would be. The young lady who took our order was cheerful and helpful. I recognized her from previous visits. We got there before noon so it was not busy. We sat outside because it seemed quieter. Another great lunch at a favorite spot!
My husband has been seeing people post about this place so while we was in the area, we decided to try it out. It's easy to find and parking is okay. When we walking in it was busy and the few people in line moved quickly. Now ordering turkey burgers is always a hit and miss but I ordered one with cheese and an onion ring and fries. It was delicious, if I lived in the area this would be my go to spot! They have a variety of burgers and options for everyone. It was inside and outside seating, decor gave , your typical burger spot. Definitely worth a try
It's been two weeks since I tried the Falafel Salad at Gotts and I keep thinking about it. It was the perfect mix of veggies, lemon tahini dressing, chickpeas, and hummus. Sadly, I'm no longer in Napa but I hope to recreate it from home. The Frose was also top tier, as well as the burger my husband ordered. I'll be back the next time I'm in Napa!
I was in the area on a date. We came to the market to figure out food and we settled on Gotts roadside. I've seen them around I've had their garlic fries when I've had the craving but I've never really ordered anything else. This time I ordered the Vietnamese chicken salad and chili cheese fries on the side. My date ordered the California burger and sweet potato fries. When we got our food, my date said, she should have ordered the salad that looks so good. You know what? It was bomb! Super flavorful and refreshing. It made everything else taste bland or maybe it was bland, not the salad though. I would come back for the salad. The chili had no flavor, my date said her burger didn't have any flavor and she regretted choosing it. I don't normally like sweet potato fries but they were good from here.
Have I not reviewed this place yet? I've been here a handful of times and I must say that each time is always a great experience. Granted, I don't like the lines but the last time I was here, I had the California burger with a fried egg. Delicious!
Super busy location especially on the weekends! Located near Napa's Oxbow market, Gott's has something for everyone - variety of delicious burgers, sandwiches, salads, tacos, hot dogs, fries, ice cream and milkshakes, and alcohol. Love the specials menu too. My faves are the western burger, ahi tuna tacos, garlic, sweet potato fries with the aioli and of course, the delicious ice cream and milkshakes. Great quality, friendly service, and indoor and outdoor seating. Ample napkins, ketchup available. Ambiance is clean and casual. Prices equate to upscale fast food.
This place was incredible. I really liked the whole setup. I was able to sit outside and enjoy the Napa weather, and the inside had that classic diner feel. The place was packed when we went, and there was so much energy. People coming in and out, tables full, and that constant sound of food being made in the background. The staff were really nice, and the food was even better. I ordered the California Burger with Gruyere cheese, bacon, arugula, balsamic caramelized onions, and a fried egg on top. And wow. From the first bite, I was sold. The beef was juicy and had that nice grilled flavor, the Gruyere added this creamy, slightly nutty taste. While the rich sweetness of the caramelized onions introduced an entirely new layer of flavor to the dish. Then the fried egg, once the yolk broke, everything came together. Buttery, salty, sweet, smoky, all at once. Every bite was messy, but honestly, that was part of the fun. read more
We stopped by Gotts for a quick lunch between visiting wineries. The menu is long so I had high hopes that we would like our food as there seems to be something for everyone but honestly the food was pretty disappointing. I tried the chicken tenders, garlic fries, caramelized onion and guyere burger and elote corn on the cob and honestly the best thing I had was the fries. They were flavorful with a good amount of minced garlic and parsley on top. The corn was pretty tasty as well but ultimately the burger was really dry and lacked flavor and the chicken tenders were super dry as well. The honey mustard I got on the side helped with the flavor but the tenders were pretty bland. Ultimately we weren't looking for much, just a quick bite before we had to go to a tasting reservation nearby but I honestly don't think I'd come back. read more

Tacos, salads, Brussels sprouts, and a crab sandwich help to round out the menu. The line is usually long but for good reason! We came in for a late lunch on New Year's Day, and the place was packed. It felt like everyone in Napa had the same idea, probably because most restaurants were closed for the holiday. Gott's was buzzing, but in a good way--families, couples, tourists, locals, all mixed together. Despite the crowd, the line moved pretty quickly. The menu is posted right on the wall, and honestly, it's a lot to take in at first. Burgers, chicken tenders, salads, sandwiches, tacos, fries, soups, hot dogs--and of course, their famous shakes. It's one of those menus where everything sounds good, so choosing becomes the hardest part. My boyfriend and I both went with burgers, and they didn't disappoint. Fresh ingredients, juicy patties, and that classic Gott's flavor they're known for. The fries were crispy, the portions were generous, and everything came out hot even with how busy it was. You can tell they've been doing this for a long time--Gott's has been a Napa staple since the late '90s, and it still feels like a must‑stop spot for both locals and visitors. Had some incredible burgers here! The place was packed. I'm talking line out the door packed. So many options to choose from no wonder why customers get to the counter and still are undecided. Between salads, sides like onion rings, cheese or garlic fries, tacos burgers and even shakes. This is a classic burger joint. The indoor and patio seating were very clean despite the large swath of folks in and out. Gott's even had a tv which had the sports game on. I went with the chicken schnitzel. Came with pickled radish, cucumber, parsley and a house made sauce. An absolute banger of a sandwich after a night of drinking. This was the perfect cap to a great trip as Gott's was our last stop before heading back home. I must mention the cheeseburger my fiancee ordered. With all the special burgers and sandwiches a classic burger can get overlooked or lost in the shuffle. Please don't do that here. The burger was so damn good and had me contemplating if I should order one for the road despite being full already. Overall Gott's really surprised me. It had very high ratings. The quality of all the food lived up to it. The range of each item leaves me wanted to come back for more. Perfect post-winery snack! My friends and I popped into Gott's after a fun day visiting local tasting rooms. The line was longgg, so the promise of good food was on the horizon. We were not disappointed! My veggie burger was well seasoned, just greasy enough, and the perfect portion to receive a 10/10. The sides were also really good - we split fries and onion rings among us. I was absolutely full after my meal, but next time I'd also like to try one of their sweet treats. They looked yummy! We stopped here after visiting a couple of wineries in the area and just WOW. We did have to wait in line for a bit to place our order but boy was it worth it! We got delicious burgers and fries that came out hot and fresh and the French fries were to die for. We found a cute bench outside to eat our food and enjoyed the cool weather with our amazing food. Highly recommend if you're in the area! Also the prices were great! read more

Omg!!! This place lived up 2 the hype!!! There was a line out the door, but it moved fast. I got the Cobb salad that came w/ a lemon Dijon vinaigrette & it was soooo delish & refreshing!!! My daughter got the bacon cheeseburger & fries. She let me take a bite of her burger & it was seasoned & cooked well!!! The place was clean. And the bathrooms....sooo clean!!! The stalls were long so u had room!!! I can't wait 2 go back & try something else!!! This is a must-go spot!!! read more
I was craving a burger on my way back home during the week of Halloween, so I stopped by Gott's at the Oxbow in Napa. I kept it classic with a cheeseburger, no sauce, just meat & cheese, and my wife went bold with the kimchi burger, which she absolutely loved. They even had a gluten-free bun option (most burger spots don't handle that well), so major props there. We got garlic fries and onion rings on the side (love me some onion rings only disappointment was they were not hot, they were cold, not sure if they had been a batch sitting out). I wasn't feeling the shake that night, but next time I'll definitely grab that mint one I was eyeing. The counter staff ranged from super friendly to just "okay" in attitude, but overall the burger experience was strong. Everything is fresh and organic, just how I like it. I really appreciate that they have a gluten-free option. You've got a lot of different burgers to choose from. I'll be hitting up another Gott's location soon. read more
Gott's is easily a 5/5 for what it is--this is a cute, convenient and tasty roadside burger joint (and I don't really like fast food)! We were driving between Calistoga and Yountville and wanted a quick, cheap bite to eat, and this did the trick. First, I was impressed by the amount of diverse options on the menu. It wasn't limited to burgers or chicken sandwiches and fries, but also had tacos (even things like ahi poke crispy wonton tacos, which I ordered), falafel, schnitzel, salads, etc. My boyfriend ordered a burger and onion rings, and I ordered the tuna tacos and sweet potato fries. The aioli on the tuna tacos was tangy and flavorful, the sweet potato fries were crispy, and the house made ranch was a little peppery and paired nicely. The seating area was large and open, and still felt somewhat secluded from the main road. Despite being full, it still felt relatively quiet and laid back, which was a nice break from all the winery tours. read more

Server was very nice and professional. And the food was at our table in under 15 minutes which was impressive with a party of 5. Everyone had burgers and commented how well they were cooked and tasted. Atmosphere was very cool with lots of outdoor seating and an indoor bar. Surrounding areas are fun to walk around or stir by a fire and enjoy the outdoors. read more

The hype is true. I came on the weekday so maybe it wasn't as busy, but there was still a lot of foot traffic. The food was both visually and tastefully pleasing. I wish I had space to eat and try more. The fried Brussels sprouts were charred perfect and it tasted like it was a grilled charred. Dipping it into a seasoned garlic mayo added an additional flavor of umami to it! If could make and eat this every day, I would. The ahi burger was so pretty; and the flavor was even more amazing! The coleslaw was lightly seasoned, and with the buttery toasted bun, the Ahi just took off. I also asked for some sort of special ranch dressing they had for the day. I dipped the burger into and it was equally amazing. I wish they would bring Gotts to Sacramento! We need one to two locations here! This restaurant is located in downtown Napa, right next to the Oxbow Market. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, which is convenient. After seeing the reviews, we decided to give it a try. I ordered the California burger with Gruyère cheese, fried egg, and sautéed onions. The flavor was fine, but honestly, it reminded me a lot of an In-N-Out burger--except at a much higher price point. For taste and value, I'd probably pick In-N-Out instead. We also tried two milkshakes: mint chocolate chip and cookies & cream. The flavors were spot on, but they melted so quickly that they felt more like a sweet drink than an actual milkshake. The garlic fries were crispy and tasty. The setup is casual: you order inside, pick up your food when it's ready, and bus your own table. There's a self-serve station for water and condiments. Overall, nothing stood out to make it memorable, but it wasn't bad either. read more
Visit Napa with my mom and stopped by Gott's for an early dinner. We both ordered burgers but mine was supposed to be Dairy Free... aka no cheese. We received our order, but half way through my burger I saw that there was cheese... which I didn't notice at first because it was tucked into the back and covered by the wrapper.. Luckily!! I'm not allergic or deathly sensitive to dairy... They gave us a refund but.. I was not happy.. I now had to worry about my dairy reaction. Which includes bloating and stomach aches. After hiking in we took a little drive to Gotts in Napa. Very spacious. Plenty on seating even though it was busy! Vast menu. So many yummy choices. Burger and chicken sandwich was very flavorful. However, the chicken was a bit dry. Brussel sprouts and the dipping sauce was delicious! Highly recommend. I want to go back to try their ice cream! read more

Pretty solid burger place! Indoor and outdoor seating. Dive style ambiance. Staff is friendly. Food is made to order. My son recommended this place. The line was out the door but it was so worth it! This is a diner located at the busy 1st St Napa. They We went on a Friday afternoon. Be patient to get a parking spot nearby as the parking lots were full, or park from afar and walk. There's plenty of seats inside and outside. Order and pay at the counter, they will say how long you have to wait: 20 minutes for ours. Good customer service. I had the California burger (Fried egg, gruyère cheese, Zoe's bacon, arugula, balsamic onions & mayo on a toasted sesame brioche bun) which a friend suggested, and garlic fries and a house made lemonade. Food was great! Tasty and juicy. They have other interesting stuff in the menu and would love to come back and try them next time. read more
