Really bad service. We waited about 50mins on our order 5 entree total. On top of that they forgot the pizza and had to wait for another 10 mins. It was just bad. The food wasn't good at all. I have to admit we've only been there twice and only had the Taco Tuesday meals.......they are great! I had the asada and my husband had the carnitas tacos, both yummy. Wow!! I ordered food for our grandson's high school graduation party. The staff at Lane 33 are great! Super helpful. We had ribs, chicken, beans, mac & cheese and coleslaw. The food was next level!! Easily the best Mexican Restaurant in North Bay with absolutely no close seconds. Top of my head I can't think of a better one in all of the Bay Area, truth be told. Unbelievably good. This is THE one restaurant you will tell your visiting family & friends that they MUST try and they will & they will thank you profusely and they will suddenly want to visit you more often! Proceed with caution! SOMETHING TO KEEP IN MIND: It's a little hole in the wall and NOT the kind of place you want to take a girl to impress (take her to Cole's Steak House for that) on a special date HOWEVER do take her any other time & watch her swoon! 10/10 (as good as it gets!) *This is new food and a new chef I was always a big fan of the PICO taco truck (amazing tacos) but they stopped doing events, I believe, a while ago. Now I can get that taco fix as Chef Alex has set up shop post shutdown at the bowling alley. My husband enjoyed the vegetarian quesadilla and I had my favorite calabacitas tacos and the al pastor taco (word of warning: the pastor is hot!). This place was a pleasant surprise and is going to be popular in no time. First of all, it's under new management again but I think this time these folks got it right. The menu looks the same but don't get it twisted. This new and improved cafe makes their hamburgers by HAND. They have a side menu with unheard of tacos, again tortillas made by hand with fresh ingredients. They opened up about a week ago, so you can tell they are still working on decor. Don't waste your time at this place! I sat down, a waitress chatted with another table for 10 minutes, but she never acknowledged me. Finally I said: Excuse me, can I order some food? and she said I had to come up to the counter to order- which I did not know. When I looked online before I went in - the burgers were $8.50, I get there and they cost $14! They were out of onion rings so she offered potato or macaroni salad and I asked if they make their own, and she said yes. I chose potato salad. Out of this world tacos! Is there a way to rate them 10 stars?! Oh wow... i ordered 3, and had to order 3 more after trying them (our party of 4 all went back and doubled our orders for more!). They're truly magical, super well seasoned and full of amazing flavor. We tried almost all the options of tacos and each one was just a burst of flavor. Don't let it's location in a bowling alley fool you, these are legit, authentic gourmet tacos!!! Even the vegetarian options were phenomenal. Still dreaming of them. Great BBQ! It's a diner in the bowling alley, you have to order at the counter, but that's not a problem for us. I'm not sure why they aren't spotlighting their BBQ but it was delicious. Several of us had the sliders and with the coleslaw on top and extra BBQ sauce, they were amazing. My husband had the 3 meat plate and it was a nice sized portion for a big eater. For a diner of great age, it's got surprisingly few reviews (Buttercream Bakery recently turned 70) There are pictures of women's bowling leagues in the 60s. While the cook comes across as abrupt&kind of rude, the hostess/waitress/server was excellent. Very chatty&amiable. My breakfast was under $10 (biscuits&gravy with coffee)-a deal in Napa. This is a cut little cafe inside the bowling alley. Quick service and very friendly. The cheese burgers were great. We especially liked the buns. The server said they come from Sciambra, the local bread man. My lunch salad had cucumbers, onions and tomatoes with lettuce was very fresh. The decor is 50s diner. read more

You know those crispy tacos that you get in other places that by the time you bite into the middle portion it's soft and chewy? You won't find one of those here!!! Crispy tacos are crispy to the last bite!! DELICIOSO!!! Don't forget to try the appetizers! We ordered CHICHARRONES not knowing they were FRESHLY MADE!!! "AY CARAMBA" They got to our table nice and warm, along with a couple of dipping salsas! I tell you next time I'm bowling. So I try Lane 33's Cochinita Flautas and wow! What a disappointment, they looked nothing like their pics on Doordash and I can't emphasize enough how empty they were. Tried this place a couple of months ago, talked with the chef for a bit. Food was really good. We went back again, different story. The food was awful, my wife's burger was way over cooked and flavorless. Bun was old and dry, lettuce was all wilted. As a chef of 30 years plus, I realize things happen, so I hope they were just having a bad day. Someone posted a picture of their burger there a couple of weeks ago and it looked delicious.
