Lane 33 Cafe - Bad customer service with this girl she did not want to give her name out - Burgers Near Me - Napa, California

Such a great, little, cute café! Their specials are amazing... We went on Wednesday where it was a smash burger with fries and a drink for $10! Toto we're not in Napa anymore!. I thought I wonder what they would charge to make it a cheeseburger?? To my surprise, there was cheese on it! Such a yummy burger and incredible fries! Love the people who work here as well! And they have a special every single day!! I posted it on the bowling alley site, but I will post it here. This is the restaurant! read more

Really bad service. We waited about 50mins on our order 5 entree total. On top of that they forgot the pizza and had to wait for another 10 mins. It was just bad. The food wasn't good at all. Salad came out not saggy and not even crispy. They can definitely make some changes to make the experience more memorable. read more

Lane 33 Cafe - Worst food and service ever! - Burgers Near Me - Napa, California

Locals know good BBQ. This place is a hidden gem. Great BBQ at reasonable prices. Don't go for the ambiance, go for the food.

I have to admit we've only been there twice and only had the Taco Tuesday meals.......they are great! I had the asada and my husband had the carnitas tacos, both yummy. It is kind of fun to sit there eating our meal and watching the bowlers. If you need a change check out the Cafe as there is a lot more to pick from then just the TACO's! read more

Wow!! I ordered food for our grandson's high school graduation party. The staff at Lane 33 are great! Super helpful. We had ribs, chicken, beans, mac & cheese and coleslaw. The food was next level!! The ribs were smoked perfectly. The chicken was sooo tender! The sides were delicious, too! I would highly recommend Lane 33!!!! read more

Do NOT be fooled by the shabby diner esthetic here, the tacos are aaaamazing! We've been hearing non stop about how great the food is here so we stopped in while we were at the bowling alley and we all tried one of each taco. They were great! Give this spot a try! read more

Lane 33 Cafe - Tacos - Burgers Near Me - Napa, California

Is this the best Mexican Restaurant in Napa? Read- on & find out, dear reader! I went today after reading the glowing review in SFEATER & let's just say it lives up to & swiftly passes the hype. Easily the best Mexican Restaurant in North Bay with absolutely no close seconds. Top of my head I can't think of a better one in all of the Bay Area, truth be told. Unbelievably good. This is THE one restaurant you will tell your visiting family & friends that they MUST try and they will & they will thank you profusely and they will suddenly want to visit you more often! Proceed with caution! SOMETHING TO KEEP IN MIND: It's a little hole in the wall and NOT the kind of place you want to take a girl to impress (take her to Cole's Steak House for that) on a special date HOWEVER do take her any other time & watch her swoon! 10/10 (as good as it gets!) P.S. The prices are so low that when you order and the cute cash register girl gives you your total you will think that it's too low & will likely ask her, "Is that all?" she will say "YES!" with a sweet smile NOW would be a good time to tip her, the tip jar is right in front of the register under a black cat. read more

*This is new food and a new chef I was always a big fan of the PICO taco truck (amazing tacos) but they stopped doing events, I believe, a while ago. Now I can get that taco fix as Chef Alex has set up shop post shutdown at the bowling alley. My husband enjoyed the vegetarian quesadilla and I had my favorite calabacitas tacos and the al pastor taco (word of warning: the pastor is hot!). We got our food to-go but you can eat in right now if you are comfortable. We will be back often! read more

Lane 33 Cafe - Menu 10/22/2020 - Burgers Near Me - Napa, California

All the food was bad and on top of that it was super expensive. Not sure why people like it here.

I got the Tri-Tip. It tastes like propane, it was dry, and don't even get me started on the garlic fries, they are literally soggy fries with canned minced garlic... and the Mac and cheese is dry and flavorless. read more

This place was a pleasant surprise and is going to be popular in no time. First of all, it's under new management again but I think this time these folks got it right. The menu looks the same but don't get it twisted. This new and improved cafe makes their hamburgers by HAND. They have a side menu with unheard of tacos, again tortillas made by hand with fresh ingredients. They opened up about a week ago, so you can tell they are still working on decor. Fine by me because their food is on point. So far I've had their tacos, cheeseburgers, fries, onion rings and apple pie. All good. read more

Don't waste your time at this place! I sat down, a waitress chatted with another table for 10 minutes, but she never acknowledged me. Finally I said: Excuse me, can I order some food? and she said I had to come up to the counter to order- which I did not know. When I looked online before I went in - the burgers were $8.50, I get there and they cost $14! They were out of onion rings so she offered potato or macaroni salad and I asked if they make their own, and she said yes. I chose potato salad. It was potatoes & shredded carrots and it honestly sucked. Burger was fair. Never again. Nor will I recommend this place to anyone read more

Out of this world tacos! Is there a way to rate them 10 stars?! Oh wow... i ordered 3, and had to order 3 more after trying them (our party of 4 all went back and doubled our orders for more!). They're truly magical, super well seasoned and full of amazing flavor. We tried almost all the options of tacos and each one was just a burst of flavor. Don't let it's location in a bowling alley fool you, these are legit, authentic gourmet tacos!!! Even the vegetarian options were phenomenal. Still dreaming of them. I now know why they earned a Michelin Star, they deserve it 100%. No photos, we just devoured them. read more

Mike, the server, was very nice and the food was delicious. The double Cheeseburger tasted great especially with the toasted Bun. The salad could use less sauce though. read more

Flautas were amazing! Chef Alex is so personable and I'm definitely checking out his other restaurant called Lencho's! Keep up the great work Alex! You're doing perfect! Don't ever let anyone say you're not! Great Napa destination! Oh and there's a bowling alley! read more

Totally unexpected gem of an authentic Mexican restaurant!!! We got the ceviche and the pollo con mole and they were both mind boggling good. SO surprised and so impressed. read more

Great BBQ! It's a diner in the bowling alley, you have to order at the counter, but that's not a problem for us. I'm not sure why they aren't spotlighting their BBQ but it was delicious. Several of us had the sliders and with the coleslaw on top and extra BBQ sauce, they were amazing. My husband had the 3 meat plate and it was a nice sized portion for a big eater. Seemed reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. Go try it! read more

I have to say their birria is amazing! Great cuts of meat, not greasy & they include all the condiments such as limes, cilantro & onions. Oh and I can't forget the warm soft corn tortillas that come with the dish. My son had the cheese pizza and loved it as well. Next time I gotta try their cakes & pastries! Can't wait! :) read more

Lane 33 is an unassuming cafe tucked in a bowling alley. One can view bowling leagues in action. For a diner of great age, it's got surprisingly few reviews (Buttercream Bakery recently turned 70) There are pictures of women's bowling leagues in the 60s. While the cook comes across as abrupt&kind of rude, the hostess/waitress/server was excellent. Very chatty&amiable. My breakfast was under $10 (biscuits&gravy with coffee)-a deal in Napa. One wonders if Lane 33 could help people save up (and sober up) when it comes to the wineries. The biscuits&gravy were superb. Freshly served, hot off the grill in the open kitchen. Just the right portion size. The coffee was decent. Interesting trivia- It's part of a bowling alley that has meeting rooms, a lounge, AND an old school arcade with a glow in the dark/black light mural. The food was really bad. I was extremely disappointed. The rice tasted like steamed rice with bullion cubes. The hamburger and bacon were burned. They tasted like they were cooked on a dirty grill. The tacos were bad. French fries and onion rings tasted like they came from a bag and were fried. read more

This is a cut little cafe inside the bowling alley. Quick service and very friendly. The cheese burgers were great. We especially liked the buns. The server said they come from Sciambra, the local bread man. My lunch salad had cucumbers, onions and tomatoes with lettuce was very fresh. The decor is 50s diner. read more

This place sucks now. They got rid of all the good food. Got chicken and fries and the fries are way too salty. I needed more bbq sauce and the girl said they don't have anymore. That's a lie cuz when I saw her take them the first time there were plenty. Got nachos with cheese and jalapeños and they forgot to put the jalapeños on. They don't even give free water anymore. So disappointed read more

Had heard the Mexican food was good. Saw Michelin guide recommend the food, so I finally tried it. The tacos are delicious! Would definitely recommend and plan to go again. You do not have to go bowling to eat here. Great prices. read more

The new owner needs to hire a real short order cook . been waiting 45 minutes not only one waiting

This cafe serves excellent tacos. Customer service is friendly. The restaurant is clean. There is ample parking at its parking lot.

I also discovered this gem while getting vehicle service in the area. The cafe was the immediate draw as I hadn't eaten for the day yet. I ordered the double burger combo and it was heavenly in that old-diner kind of way. There looks to be quite a history with this bowling alley. The old pictures on the wall I found especially interesting. Great, friendly service. I opted for eating along the alley viewing wall instead of inside the diner. Fun eating the burger and watching the bowlers going at it. Long live the classic American bowling alley. read more

AMAZING! Yes all in caps! I will say it again, it really is amazing! Fresh corn tortillas for their soft tacos! The freshest veggies in each dish! You know those crispy tacos that you get in other places that by the time you bite into the middle portion it's soft and chewy? You won't find one of those here!!! Crispy tacos are crispy to the last bite!! DELICIOSO!!! Don't forget to try the appetizers! We ordered CHICHARRONES not knowing they were FRESHLY MADE!!! "AY CARAMBA" They got to our table nice and warm, along with a couple of dipping salsas! I tell you next time I'm bowling. I will be eating these all night along side a bottomless Michelada from the bar next door! I was enjoying eating so much I didn't get any pictures, next time, Ok. Hey go try it yourself. The hours are now longer till at least 9! read more

Best surprise in Napa!!! Gourmet, yes I'm not kidding.....GOURMET tacos unlike anything you've ever had and where.... at the bowling alley Cafe. Get over the fact that you have to come eat at the bowling alley and get down there as fast as you can, you won't regret it for one moment. Your mouth will thank you. The best ones are the pork ones they have 2 types.... get the ones that start with the letter C....lol. Sorry, I forgot what they call them, I'm going back tonight though to eat them again. The fish ones are also so out of this world delicious!! All the desserts are homemade too, he makes this sweet corn tamales.... so yummy and tonight I'll get the flan. This place is now my new favorite Mexican restaurant. Who would have thought it would be at the bowling alley, but once you try the food, you won't care where you are eating it because it tastes so damn amazing. Someday this chef will have the ambiance he deserves, everyone has to start somewhere. He is so friendly and enthusiastic and passionate about his craft. He will only succeed!! read more

Heard the food was actually not bad here but when asked about the food was told would be a 45-minute wait to get something to eat. The weirdest thing was that there was no food cooking on the grill no Burgers and Fries the guys were just kind of standing around. I don't think they have any interest in selling food as they are probably getting paid minimum wage. Garlic fries were good but was very discouraged from ordering anything read more

Really enjoyed this and the owner is bringing her own hand made sausages onto the menu!! Been there many times now and great time every time. Not sure what the people who are leaving negative comments are about. It's a bowling alley diner. Not fancy but great food at a great price read more

My friend has been raving about Lane 33 Cafe for a few weeks and tells me "you have to go, the mole is amazing and potato tacos are the best. This is how you like it - all you taste is chili". So I try Lane 33's Cochinita Flautas and wow! What a disappointment, they looked nothing like their pics on Doordash and I can't emphasize enough how empty they were. At most a tiny sliver of meat in a mostly empty tortilla. The aioli was fantastic though. read more

There is a new, very upbeat & personable owner, Jessica. The food is far superior to what it used to be. The decor is upgraded and far cleaner.
